The Troll Tribes united once more, everybody cheered in celebration and often interacted with Trolls outside their primary tribe. Onstage, the Troll Leaders watched the excited and talkative audience with proud acknowledgement before turning their attention to the resurrected Pop Queen. Poppy herself was engaging in a group hug with her friends (including Creek), with Branch being the closest and tightest.

"Oh, Poppy..." Biggie stumbled over his planned apology, "I... I'm so sorry for abandoning you on the way to Vibe City. I'm a coward."

"No, Biggie," Poppy shook her head, "I'm the one who should be sorry. I should've listened to you and everybody else. I should've kept that pinky promise. And you're not a coward. If you hadn't returned with the others...the Tribes would've never been united."

"And Poppy and Branch would've never acquried their swanky, rainbow uniforms," Satin and Chenille fussed over the couple's matching outfits.

"Poppy," Creek approached as he scanned her from head to toe, "How did you...survive?"

Branch and the others, the approaching Tribe Leaders included, expectantly looked at Poppy, who only smiled, "I...had a little help."

"No pun intended."

The group turned to find Queen Peony and the former Tribe Leaders near them, prompting them all (except Poppy) to kneel down and bow their heads in respect.

"You may rise," Queen Aretha smiled.

"You bow to no one," King James chuckled.

Queen Essence and King Quincy were the first to do so, the former scanning her parents up and down as she teared up.

"Mother... Father..."

"Hello, our dear Essence," James and Aretha laid their eyes on their daughter for the first time in forever, pulling her in for a hug. Noticing Cooper, Prince D, and King Quincy standing there watching (awkwardly in the latter's case), they both chuckled and pulled them in to join.

"And this must be our son-in-law," James gave Quincy a noogie.

"And our grandsons," Aretha gave a loving gaze towards Cooper and Prince D.

"My name's Cooper! I'm part-Funk, part-Pop!"

"My name's Darnell. I'm part-Funk, part Hip-Hop."

"Finally, something I have in common with my kin," James remarked, causing Darnell to brighten up.

"Wait, you like Hip-Hop too?"

"Boy, I'm the King of Hip-hop! I'll teach you everything I know!"

Meanwhile, Delta Dawn met with her parents and uncle.

"Mom, Dad... Uncle Flynn."

"Hello, our darling Delta," Sheriff John ran a hand through his daughter's hair.

"I trust that Lonesome Flats is in stable condition following our...retirement?" Mayor Dolly smiled warmly as she tilted her head.

"Well..." Delta nervously scratched the back of her head, "If by "stable", then you mean "blown up, crashed down, and shaken all around", then yes... Lonesome Flats is very stable."

"We have time to help you folks rebuild," Uncle Flynn proceeded to repeatedly hoist a laughing Clampers high into the air, "And possibly get acquainted with your new consort."

Fighting back a heavy blush, Delta used her peripheral vision to low-key stare at Hickory as he and Dickory talked with Roy.

"He's not my new...escort."

"Nope!" Clampers proclaimed happily, "He's my new Uncle Hickory!"

This time, Delta utterly failed to fight back the heavy blush as John, Dolly, and Flynn heartily laughed.

Meanwhile, Nina swam over to King Trollex, who was talking with DJ Suki in what she assumed to a case of flirting. Little did she know...

"So..." Nina swung an arm over her successor's shoulders, "This must be your new lady friend, eh, Trollex? You should introduce us some day..."

"Uh, no... No, no..." Trollex stumbled over his intended response to his predecessor's statement, "DJ's not my..."

"DJ, huh? So...DJ, what's your opinion on King Trollex?"

Glancing back and forth, DJ shrugged and planted a kiss on Trollex's blue cheeks, "We'll see in a couple of years."

As Trollex was reduced to a blushing, stammering mess, Nina cackled and swung another arm over his successor's girlfriend's shoulders, "Ooh, I like you; you're a keeper."

Meanwhile, Trollkovsky flew over to Trollzart and genially introduced himself.

"Conductor Trollkovsky."

"Conductor Trollzart. I must say, I am most grateful for you and the former Tribe Leaders resurrecting our friend."

"Well, I would be flattered if we actually did."

. . .

"Wait, what? That...was not you?"

"I will just say that time has a mind of its own. Plus, Queen Poppy is one lucky Troll."

Meanwhile, King Bowie and Major Tom met with Barb and King Thrash.

"Again, I'm so sorry over what happened for the past few days...or weeks?"

Barb felt the need to apologize profusely over the "One World Under Rock" fiasco, much to the amusement of them both.

"And again, it's quite all right, little one," Bowie placed a reassuring hand on Barb's shoulder, "Poppy is one of the most kindhearted and altruistic people I have ever met. I'm sure she would forgive you no matter what."

"But if it's any consolation," Tom remarked, "I think you should apologize to Poppy herself."

Meanwhile, from the crowd, Peppy pushed through the crowd to find his wife interacting with their daughter.

"Peony! Peony!"

Her ears perking up at the sound of her husband calling for her, Peony turned to find and gasp at the sight of Peppy reaching out for her.

"PEPPY!"

Using her hair, Peony wrapped it around Peppy and used it to lift him toward her, greeting him with open arms.

"Oh, my sweet Peppy! You haven't aged a day!"

"Neither have you, my dear," Peppy returned the hug before beckoning Poppy to join them. When she did, the moment lasted as long before Poppy broke away to face her father.

"I'm sorry, Dad. I should've listened to what you had to say and not run off like that."

"No, Poppy," Peppy shook his head as a sign of reassurance, "I'm so glad you didn't listen to me. You weren't naive about this world. You were brave enough to believe things can change. Braver than me."

"And if you had listened to your father and not run off," Peony added, "The Troll Tribes would have never been reunited. I'm proud of you."

"We're proud of you," Peppy reciprocated the hug given to him by Poppy, "I raised Poppy to be self-strong and confident. I was a genius!"

"Ahem!"

Peppy realized what he had just said before he turned to sheepishly smile at a non-too-plussed Peony, "Uh... Haha... We raised Poppy to be self-strong and confident. And we were geniuses."

"And you better remember that," Peony's grin returned as she delivered a peck on Peppy's cheek, causing his own smile to grow ten times wider as he leapt straight into the audience for a crowd surf, whooping in celebration while Peony looked on in amusement.

Meanwhile, Poppy approached Barb, who turned to face her and slid into a more professional demeanor as she worked up her apology.

"Pop..py... I'm...sorry for what happened for the past few days. For forcibly uniting the Troll Tribes under Rock... For kidnapping the citizens and destroying their homes... For sending the Bounty Hunters and the Party Crashers to hunt you down... For converting not-you and the other Tribe Leaders into Rock Zombies... For inadvertently causing your death... And for calling you Popsqueak..."

Silence emerged between the both of them, making Barb worry that the Pop Queen would not accept your apology despite her supposed forgiving nature. Unexpectedly, however, Poppy herself broke into a fit of uncontrollable laughter, much to the confusion of the Rock Queen and those around her.

"Hehe..." Poppy wiped any remaining tears before regaining her composure, "Popsqueak... Aren't I taller than you?"

Barb bashfully looked away, "Yeah...but only by a few inches. So...does that mean that you'll accept my apology?"

"Of course I will," Poppy began, "but..."

Barb gulped nervously before raising her arms in a feeble attempt to defend herself as Poppy lunged at her. Unexpectedly again, Poppy merely wanted a hug, leaving Barb in a standstill.

"It's a Pop Troll thing," An approaching Branch shrugged, "Just go with it."

Barb took Branch's advice and eased into the embrace, lightly chuckling in delight, "Yeah... This is nice."

"I'll let the World Tour hang over your head for a while," Poppy pulled away to face Barb, "In the meantime...now that you're not forcing me, I was hoping we can be true friends."

Barb's smile grew, "Are you kidding me? Yes! Did you hear that, Carol? We can have a girl group now!"

Carol herself looked up from performing her latest trick with a can of cheese spray and gasped in excitement, "A girl group? Nice!"

Without looking, Carol expertly (albeit unintentionally) hurled her spray cheese can into the saxophone of Chaz, who was busy contending to his next victim, a blissfully unaware Sid Fret. As the can became lodged in the bell, the Smooth Jazz Troll inhaled and caused cheese to exit through his nose and form a second mustache. His eye twitching, he then fell backwards with an audible cymbal crash provided by Riff, who noticed this event occur.

Catching Branch's gaze, Poppy's met his own and smiled warmly. Noticing this, he whistled away and looked away, nervously scratching the back of his head. Barb in turn noticed what was happening between the two and smiled, "I'll leave you two lovebirds at it."

Poppy and Branch now blushing in Barb's wake, the both of them scanned each other from head to toe, wondering who would go first.

"So..."

"So..."

"We're different, aren't we, Branch?"

"So different, Poppy. But...I love that we're different."

"As much as you love me?"

. . .

"Yes. As much as I love you, Queen Poppy."

"Good...because I love you, King Branch."

The blue-grey Pop Troll blinked in surprise at the bright pink Pop Troll, who merely smiled and held out a hand for him to take. When he did, she pulled him close to where their noses touched.

"Shall we?"

It took a minute for Branch to recover from the shock, but he eventually returned Poppy's smile.

"We shall."

With that, the both of them leaned in and closed the distance between. Branch wrapped his arms around her waist, while Poppy cupped his face with her hands; she refused to let him go, even for catching their breath. It was a rekindled fire, a reignited passion, a reunited tango. Time was nothing to them as their hearts pounded against their chests and the crowd became quieter and quieter.

For a moment there, the world was theirs, nobody but themselves to rule it. For a moment there, they failed to notice the majority of the crowd gazing at them with looks of pleasant acknowledgement. For a moment there, they failed to notice their friends and family staring at them with their jaws agape. For a moment there, they were worried that the newfound soulmates would get carried away and literally mate onstage.

"WOO-HOO!"

Everybody, Poppy and Branch included, jumped in fright over Queen Peony's abrupt delighted cheering.

"That's my daughter! My daughter has found a man!"

The both of them blushed and looked away, prompting the others to cheer them on or laugh along with them.

Realizing something, CJ glanced up at her Uncle Trollex and nudged him. Looking at her with confusion, she gestured toward her Aunt DJ and smiled knowingly. He mouthed Fine! upon realizing what she meant and made his way toward her.

"Yes?" DJ seemed to be fully aware of Trollex's intentions and jokingly batted her eyelashes, just to work him up some more.

"I... I..."

Taking a deep breath, Trollex dove in and swooped DJ up, planting a kiss on the lips. Caught off guard by the sudden action, the hot pink Pop Troll immediately melted into the embrace and wrapped her arms around the waist of the dark blue Techno Troll. CJ whooped in celebration and planted a kiss on a now blushing Keith's cheeks as Poppy, Branch, and the rest of the Snack Pack cheered them on.

From afar, Tresillo and Wani watched in amusement before realizing that they were standing really close to each other.

"So...let's just make this clear–"

Wani rolled her eyes and pulled Tresillo for a canoodle, which he eventually gave into as the girls (both Reggaeton and K-Pop) girls giggled behind them. Speaking of which, Kim-Petit beckoned Riff to make his way over. When he did, she took a page out of DJ's book, flirtatiously batting her eyelashes to provoke him, who was reduced to a blushing, stuttering, but understanding mess.

"Um... Can we, uh..."

"Sure," Kim-Petit giggled and planted a peck on Riff's cheek, causing him to blush heavier than Branch, Trollex, Tresillo, and even Keith combined thus far.

Watching this, Delta Dawn and Hickory, Queen Essence and King Quincy, Harper and Archer, Cooper and Satin, and Prince D and Chenille jokingly decided to join the Kiss-A-Thon set in motion by Poppy and Branch, exchanging cheek pecks and/or liplocks.

"Ugh..." Bliss Marina groaned in disbelief as she watched the central cast receive a snog or two from their significant other(s), "Why don't I get a kiss from somebody?"

SMOOCH!

At that exact moment, Bliss was unexpectedly kissed on the cheek by a sneaky Carol, whose resulting smile all but confirmed that said kiss was done in a rather playful manner.

"There. You happy now, toots?"

"Hehe, a little..."

Poppy and Branch exchanged relieved laughter before briefly hugging and facing the cheering crowd. At long last, the Troll Tribes were finally united.

One nation under music.

All music.

And what happens next...we'll face it together...

("The Other Side" by SZA & Justin Timberlake) [Instrumental Version]

"Our ancestors thought we were just too different to get along," Poppy began.

"It turns out they were wrong," Branch remarked.

"Very, very wrong," DJ Suki chuckled.

Inside Poppy's pod was the Queen herself surrounded by Branch, the Snack Pack, and the current Tribe Leaders regaling the tale of the six Strings. Seated in front of them taking the form of a circle were CJ, Keith, and Priscilla of the Pop Trolls; Coral Blush of the Techno Trolls; Clampers Buttonwillow of the Country Trolls; young Carol of the Rock Trolls; young Joseph of the Classical Trolls; and young Maurice of the Funk Trolls.

"You have to be able to listen to other voices..." Satin started.

"...even when they don't agree with you," Chenille continued.

"They make us stronger..." Biggie added.

"...more creative..." Guy Diamond interjected.

"...more inspired," Cooper perked up.

So whether your song is sad and heartfelt..." Delta Dawn exchanged looks with Clampers.

"...loud and defiant..." Barb noogied young Carol's head.

"...or warm and funky..." Prince D patted Maurice's head.

"...or even if you're a little bit of each..." Hickory chuckled.

"It's all these sounds and all our differences..." Smidge nodded.

"...that make the world a richer place," Creek concurred.

"Because you can't harmonize alone," Poppy finished with a loving gaze towards Branch, who reciprocated the expression.

CHOMP!

Everybody turned to a laughing Clampers chomping on Poppy's scrapbook in spite of herself, prompting Poppy and Branch to pull it out and everybody else to laugh in amusement.

"Clampers, let's not eat our history," Poppy gently chastised the young Country Troll.

"Sorry, Miss Poppy," Clampers sheepishly apologized as she gulped down the last of her food.

Suddenly, a back-up alarm blared out and Tiny Diamond entered the scene on his ride, which played a funky beat that caught everybody's attention once more.

"Yeah, oh, yeah, oh, yeah, oh, yeah," Tiny Diamond parallel parked the truck and faced his audience, "Excuse me, ladies and gentlemen. I'm done with my nap and I'm ready to party!

"Oh, yeah!" Guy Diamond joined his son, "Glitter!"

Pressing a button on his truck, Tiny spewed glitter everywhere.

A/N: The following are two responses to two comments.

1) TU4QU0I53T4IAN6L3: Never thought that we came here so far and we are already here at the end! So surprised that Poppy returned along with those who passed on with their lives. This has been an amazing ride and a new yet different experience of Trolls World Tour. This is one of the greatest stories that I believe that yours should have more reviews than my Trolls story. It's all genres in one and I mean LITERALLY.

I wonder how your sequel will turn out with the events of Trollstopia. And some crossovers! Can't wait to see that. I just hope that it won't be TOO intense and dark as some of this story's chapters.

Until then, keeping on rocking!

1.1) MarcellusMiro66: Neither did I! I had a blast writing this tale of action, adventure, romance, and the beauty of music. Although, Poppy and the former Tribe Leaders were never dead to begin with; just because someone is dead doesn't mean they're gone. I'm also flattered that you believe my story should have more reviews than yours. I like to play with different genres and find a balance among them; if one were to categorize The Other Side, it would be an "action-adventure romantic musical fantasy epic." The sequel(s) will borrow heavily from TrollsTopia and the tone will be more in line with the Marvel Cinematic Universe films (particularly those directed by the Russo Brothers), especially since a substantial amount of conspiracy theories and political intrigue will play an prominent part. The stories and crossovers will go to unexpectedly dark places. And I will keep rocking!

2) moonrose221: Mind if I use the idea of the "Space Between" in a fic of mine? I love this story and you have given me new drive to write my Trolls stories again!

2.1) MarcellusMiro66: Not at all! Of course you can use it. The Space Between is a gold mine of possibilities given its status as an ethereal realm out of time and a gateway to different dimensions. I'm also very proud to give you new inspiration to write your Trolls stories once more.
