Oh My Gods guys!
Ok so I was beginning to think about stopping this fanfic altogether.
I was struggling with writing and uploading.
I was stressed with school and my life outside of it.
And at the same time I was being socially harassed. (That's a whole other story.)
Yesterday was the first time in what felt like forever where I opened up FanFiction.
And the first thing I planned on doing was writing an apology to all of you for being so selfish and not telling you all sooner.
Instead however, I got sidetracked rereading this fanfic and laughing at how cringey my writing is but also remembering how much time and happiness was put into writing this.
I also looked through the reviews and found multiple new ones.
What I want to say first of all is how grateful I am for all of you. Both guest readers and readers with accounts for not giving up on me and continuing to be amazing as always.
I may have lost readers over the course of November until now but it doesn't matter.
If it isn't clear yet - no I'm not quitting and ending this story.
Instead I'm continuing it and hoping you guys will continue to enjoy it!
I'm going to have a LOT more free time now that Britain is back on national lockdown.
Online school sucks...
Anyways- I hope you all enjoy!
Annabeth sat at the kitchen table with Piper, Thalia and Hazel. They were still in her house discussing the Valentine Dance that Piper had been chosen to plan.
"So first we need to pick out the theme." Piper told them.
"Easy!" Thalia answered. "Valentines day. Now can we go?"
"No!" Piper groaned. "I mean a theme related to Valentine's Day!"
"Could it be a city or a place?" Hazel asked.
"Finally a good question!" Piper sighed. "Yes."
"Okay then." Annabeth said. "Why don't we just think of the most romantic place in the world and then base the dance off of that?"
"Of course!" Piper exclaimed, acting as if the secrets of the universe had been revealed.
"Can we figure that out while we go?" Thalia asked exasperatedly. (They had been doing this for the majority of an hour.)
"Fine!" Piper gave in.
They all stood up and grabbed their coats and some money before leaving the house.
The reason Thalia had wanted to leave so much was because they were going to an open mic at a nearby cafe which in her opinion was way more interesting than listening to Piper continuously talking about the planning details of the upcoming dance.
The girls were greeted by Percy, Jason, Leo, Grover and Frank upon arrival. The boys had apparently been waiting for them for half an hour so the girls had to explain about how Piper was granted the position as head of the planning committee for the upcoming dance.
"I told you you'd get it." Jason nudged her smirking.
"Especially after obsessing over it half the holidays." Leo muttered only to be shot a glare from the brunette.
They all sat around a rather large table at the back of the cafe.
Annabeth and Percy were squashed together in the middle. Everyone was discussing Piper's obsession with party planning.
Annabeth rested her head against Percy's shoulder and she let out a little yawn.
"Tiring day huh?" Percy said.
"Mhmm." She replied.
The room was overwhelmingly warm and she felt like she was going to fall asleep.
She didn't though because soon enough the acts started.
Weirdly though she found herself unable to concentrate on what was happening.
Instead she found herself obsessing over the thing she dreaded most.
Telling her friends the truth.
It wasn't that she didn't trust them - of course she did. They had been on her side despite the fact they didn't know what had happened in her past.
She still felt guilty though. She still felt like she was lying to her friends even though she wasn't. They had never asked her to tell them what had happened which she was glad about. She couldn't stress how much she loved each and everyone of her friends with or without their differences. They may never understand her situation but they will always be there for her. She knew that as a fact. That was why in that one moment she decided that if Luke tried to ever harm her friendship again she would tell them what she did in the past and she would trust them to decide what they thought about her afterwards.
Well. I hope you enjoyed this chapter.
Feel free to review or leave a suggestion as to what may or may not happen next.
Cya tomorrow!
Byeee!
