Chapter 54: Storm The Place

''They're in Amity Park,'' Valerie gasped.

''Now that's just cruel,'' Ma'gann huffed. ''Though, I expected nothing less from those vile people.''

''That's what the spell says,'' Melinda shrugged. ''And my spells never fail. Unless i'm in a protective suit, to protect us from ectoranium, and then I turn into a giant pinball of death.''

''We're not even gonna ask,'' Roy says, the other teen heroes nodding.

''Can we go now,'' Dick growled. ''I have some heads to smash, and brothers to save. Now move! Don't make me get out my cattle prod.''

Though not even sure that Nightwing even owned a cattle prod, everyone bolted from the room faster than a cheetah on a sugar rush.

*****Time Jump*****

''Approaching the facility, now,'' Ma'gann announced.

Everyone prepared for all hell to break loose. They tightened their gloves, belts, boots, and quivers. Eyes glowed and fangs grew. Weapons were drawn and angry looks were formed. Ten mystics, nine heroes, nineteen reasons why nobody will ever mess with the Grayson twins ever again.

As the bio-ship landed, in camo-mode, they looked at the new facility. Huntress, seeing it, recognized it as the old Amity Park observatory. It did make sense. The entire place had been abandoned after the Guys In White had attacked Phantom there when he disrupted Sam's date with that fake, Gregor. But it looked like the building had been reinforced. Concrete walls and steel doors could be seen, and there was also barbed wire and search lights.

''So, what's the plan,'' Gar asked.

''Isn't it obvious,'' Sarah says. ''We're going to knock... the door down.''

They all left the bio-ship, going over to the front doors. The strong looking steel doors stood about fifteen feet over their heads.

''Superboy,'' Kaldur requested.

''One open door, coming right up,'' Conner said, cracking his knuckles.

He charged the doors, fist raised. But when he punched the door, he barely even made a dent.

''That door's thicker than Wally's head,'' he said.

Nightwing went over, knocking on the door.

''It must be nearly eight inches thick with reinforced steel,'' he said. ''Not even Superman could get through.''

''Let me give this a shot,'' Alain says, approaching the doors. ''If I can freeze the door, it may become brittle enough to break.''

''Do what you can,'' Roy told him.

Alain's hair went completely white, Winter Wraith coming out to play. He put his hands on the door. Ice crept around where he touched. From what they could see, it was like cracks that spider on a ceiling during an earthquake. You could hear the metal becoming brittle, like the sound of wood being split or like the moments before a tree is about to topple over. Frost began to cover the door. You could just feel the chill in the air.

''Alright, who's next,'' Alain asked, letting go of the door.

Alya gave a nod to Superboy. She touched her amulet, the spirit of a rhino formed around her. They both charged the door. Ramming into it, the door was knocked right off it's hinges and broke into several pieces. The ice had embedded in the metal itself.

Instantly, and alarm sounded across the whole compound.

''Think they know we're here,'' Ethan sarcastically asked.

Agents started running toward them. Everyone got into battle stances, pulling out their weapons. Melinda's hands glowed blue.

''Camouphlat Vaporis,'' she cast.

A thick fog rose from around her. It became a dense cloud and floated around them. The heroes and mystics were completely hidden from the agents. The Guys In White aimed their anti-magic guns at the fog.

''Shoot at anything that moves,'' Agent N shouted.

''Might be a little hard when you can't even move properly,'' Lena's voice giggled. ''Try to escape my octo-ivy.''

Giant vines erupted from the ground, shooting toward the agents. The guns were useless against the vines, as being controlled by magic does not make them magical. The agents were scattered by the vines. Some even were tangled up in them, with no way out.

''I love doing that,'' Lena smirked.

''We better get going before more reinforcements arrive,'' Krinos said.

They all ran into the main building. As the doors shut behind them, Alain blasted them with ice to keep the agents out of the main hallway. They basically marched through the hall, looking for the twins.

''Where could they possible be,'' Jaime started to panic. ''This place is huge.''

''I say we bust down every door, wall, and ceiling in this place until we find them,'' Conner cracked his knuckles.

''With pleasure,'' Erica agreed. ''Do I also get to drain any agent I see?''

''Just knock them out, no killing or turning,'' Dick told her. ''The last thing we need is immortal, vampire, magic haters running around for all eternity.''

''I'd stake myself if that happens,'' Ethan shook his head.

As the alarm continued to sound, they could hear more agents coming their way. Red Arrow and Caitlin pulled back their bows. As the conspiracy nuts rounded the corner, they let the arrows fly. Ice and light shards blasted the villains back.

''Lesson number one, don't make the former protege of Green Arrow angry,'' Roy growled at the unconscious forms.

''Cannon ball time, Beast Boy,'' Alya says.

Beast Boy grinned brightly, changing into an armadillo. He jumped into her arms. Alya touched her pendant. The spirit of an elephant formed around her. She wound her arm back and sent Armadillo Beast Boy hurdling to the nearest wall.

had to cover her eyes, not daring to look in fear her brother would get hurt. She had seen them practice this move a dozen times, and succeed in all of them. His armadillo armor was just too tough for him to get hurt. The ball crashed into the wall, sending it crumbling to the ground. When the dust cleared, they saw that a giant hole had been made. Beast Boy appeared, a little dizzy from the impact.

''Let's go again, let's go again,'' he chanted, making some of them snicker or giggle.

''Kids these days,'' Juliet muttered, her 500 years of age showing.

They all ran through the hole, ending up in yet another white hallway.

''This is getting us nowhere,'' Dick growled. ''All we're doing is running around, destroying things, and defeating a seemingly endless flow of enemy agents.''

''If we keep this up, we'll be physically, mentally, and magically exhausted,'' Mason says. ''And we're nowhere near as close to getting to the twins as we should be.''

''Give me a second,'' Alain says.

He got back his wolfish face features. He sniffed around, the smell of their blood still haunting him from their time at the Gotham facility.

''This way,'' he called.

Following the werewolf, they went down a set of stairs and into another part of the facility. This area, looked more like a dungeon. The entire hall lined with cages and cells. Right out of the horror movie, ''Cabin In The Woods.''

''I'm almost thankful that I've been in the horror section,'' Ma'gann says. ''If I hadn't, i'd be scared stiff at this place.''

''Meh, seen one Guys In White facility, you've seen them all,'' Valerie shrugged.

Suddenly, two sets of screams echoed through the halls. Everyone's heads shot in that direction. Their eyes went furious. Everyone ran toward the screams. As they ran, they saw two cells when they rounded the corner. What they saw will forever haunt their minds.

Phantom and Gold Siren were screaming their heads off, trapped behind two glass walls. You can hear and see it. Pain. Intense and horrible pain. Phantom was surrounded by a circle of blood blossoms. He was surrounded by the flower's red mist Phantom was basically glowing their red color. Siren was, somehow, doing worse. Some strange device was in the corner of his cell and seemed to be sending out green sound waves. They could see green flowing over his veins as he held his hands over his ears. Both of their eyes were glowing their green and gold colors.

''Something's hurting them,'' Orion gasped.

''Something is KILLING THEM,'' Caitlin yelled.

Alya touched her amulet, making the spirit of a rhino appear around her. Alain made ice gauntlets form over his fists. Beetle used his armor to make swords for his arms. Superboy cracked his knuckles. The four ran forward, trying to break the glass. But something must have reinforced the glass, cause all four bounced off like they were flies.

''Great, maxi-glass,'' Alya complained. ''And the fact that the other side has magic dampening technology, does not help either.''

''Well, what do we do,'' Sarah cried.

''Nothing,'' they heard.

Looking down the hall, they saw the Fentons and another gang of Guys In White agents. Nightwing grabbed the amulet he had stashed in his utility belt.

''All you can do is watch these two monsters die,'' Maddie sneered.

Beetle bent down, next to Siren, even as they were on opposite sides of the glass. He glared at the scientists with more rage then even Superboy and Batman combined.

''What is wrong with you two,'' he yelled. ''They never did anything, yet you're trying to kill them. After they've saved the world, after rescuing countless people from danger, after fighting countless enemies. You two still stick to your delusion that they're evil. If you would freakin' open your eyes to reality, you'd see everything you thought was right, has actually been wring the entire time.''

''You're supposed to be their parents,'' Dick yelled. ''Parents are kind. Parents protect you. Parents love you. But all you see, when you look at your own sons, are freaks. You call them monsters. You don't know the first thing about them. They has kind souls, caring about everything and everyone around them. They were given these powers to do good in the world. But all you used them for were experiments and torture. You torture them just because of who they are. Let me say one thing, Phantom and Siren are heroes to their very cores and will never be considered monsters.''

''Nice speech,'' Jack glared. ''Full of lies, but nice.''

''THAT'S IT,'' Dick yelled. ''I'VE HAD IT WITH YOU TWO!''

He took out the amulet. The sight of the object caused every mystic in the room to gasp. As it started to glow, so did Nightwing's eyes behind his mask. But they could still see it.

"Your speed and might are mine to command, valiant warrior,'' he called. ''Come forth, Cavalier."

A symbol appeared in the air, right before there was a large ''BANG.''

A warrior slammed down, in front of them. It was like a vampire knight hybrid. It had on silver armor with a knight's sword crest and robe of red and black fabric. Out of it's back were pitch black bat wings. It's head was just a knight's helmet with only yellow eyes showing. It held two flaming swords.

''Wow,'' the heroes gasped.

''Guardian,'' the mystics gasped.

Nightwing smirked at the scientists and agents.

''This is gonna be fun,'' he evilly said.
