Hey there, everyone. Welcome to the end of January 2021 and with a new, hopefully shorter chapter of Changed Path. I wanted to finish it in January, but writing blocks and other projects, not to mention real life work are a massive pain. Sorry Uppaw for not not keeping to the schedule... again.

Either way, let's hop into the chapter life a hot, thicc anime bunny girl (yes, I know that that's suspiciously specific and alarming in the way I said it, but many can also infer as to whom I'm talking about and will understand my desire to be a man of culture).

Chapter 70: Dragon Fist! Goku vs Cell Part 3

Artificial Humans Saga Part 3: The Cell Games- Part 9

[Musical Cue #1: Opening- Time to Say Goodbye by Jeff Williams feat. Casey Lee Williams (RWBY Volume 2 OP)]

[Musical Cue #2: Girei (Naruto Shippuden OST)]

[Musical Cue #3: Ending- Creeping in my Soul by Cryoshell]

Capsule Corp., Bulma's apartment,

The entire group of Goku's friends and family were watching the event from the stream that the droids that the lavender-haired scientist had built for the occasion. Many of them watched with a combination of several emotions: tension from how close and how impactful the fight felt, hope that Goku could pull out the victory like he usually did, dread that he might not and would die a horrible death. Some also felt pride and exhilaration at the fight and at the greatest defender of the planet as he was fighting for dear life against the amalgamated being.

Chichi was constantly shaking in her seat as she saw her beloved husband was pushing himself and getting horribly injured, just like he had done against Piccolo Junior at the finals of the 23rd Tenkaichi Budokai. Flashes of that horrible fight appeared in her mind as she remembered how the son of the demon king shot a mouth beam through the shoulder of her husband. Tears started to form in her eyes as she looked at the haggard and bloodied form of the man she loved on the TV screen that showed the visuals that the droids showed.

Bulma, who was also feeling an enormous amount of concern for her best friend, was also feeling uneasy with letting her daughter watch all of this, despite her knowing about all the dangers of the world of fighting and the dragon balls. She was just 10 years old and she was watching a battle to the death filled with heavy violence and she was very reluctant on letting the girl be in the room. However, her daughter was adamant on staying since her best friend and father were there in that wasteland and she wanted to keep an eye on them at all times, to make sure that they were okay.

On the other hand, she was feeling proud of herself that the drones that she had made to broadcast the events of the Cell Games to them had managed to evade the giant explosion of the ring and had resisted the EMP pulses that were sent by the electric-like ki of the attack, which the camera of Z-TV obviously didn't. They even checked the news channel to make sure whether or not they still had a connection to the arena. At that the scientist huffed proudly at the fact that she could build something that not only could resist the crazy damage that the Z-Fighters did, but also keep up with their speed and allow them to watch as fights went on instead of just waiting unknowingly.

The eyes of the young, lavender-haired girl were stuck on the TV, seeing as the whole thing was taking a turn for the worse for Goku as she also was also suffering from a headache from simply feeling the humongous ki signatures of the two combatants, and she had clapped her hands together and started praying. 'Dende, please, make some magic to do something to turn the tides in our favor. If Mr. Goku dies then dad and Gohan will...' she thought to herself as she couldn't even close her eyes in her prayer as she was focused on looking at the fight.

Meanwhile Roshi, Krillin and Archako were keeping their eyes on the fight and critically analyzing it as martial artists. The master and student of the Turtle School of Martial Arts were just astounded by the amount of skill that the perfect cyborg had shown by keeping up and even overwhelming the man Goku in skill, something that not even they were sure that could be done anymore, after the man had been under the tutelage of so many celestial beings and alien races. "This is really bad. If Goku can't beat Cell then we're all doomed. Whatever he's doing now, it's his only shot at winning this fight." the old man said with the utmost seriousness in his voice, realizing that things were certainly dire.

Unlike everyone else in the room, the female Saiyan had a giant grin of excitement plastered all over her face as she was all jumpy and giddy since the fight had started. The monk wasn't sure whether or not their daughter was comfortable with being on her mother's lap at the moment, but the four-years old Maron was certainly smiling and giggling like her mother.

"Boy, this fight is amazing!" the woman said as she then looked down and gave an enthusiastic look to her half-breed daughter. "You see that, Maron? That's how it looks like when one person punches another person in the face. You're going to have a lot of fun doing that when you grow up. Maybe we'll even punch people's faces together?" the light-headed Saiyan said with child-like enthusiasm as she talked to her young daughter with just the most innocents of grins.

The girl laughed as she looked up t her mother's bright face. "Yay! I wanna punch faces with mommy!" the girl declared happily, completely unaware of the meaning of the words that she had said to her mother while she rocked on her mother's lap while laughing out loud, with the full-blooded Saiyan joining in with small and proud chuckles.

While the raven-black haired woman was unaware, she got cold, serious and very angry looks from the two other mothers in the room, their eyes full of daggers as they clearly showed their disdain towards the female Saiyan. "You're the worst mother ever." the two said in unison as their voices were not very loud, but their tones were very, very venomous.

Krillin looked at the two women as he was sweating buckets and chuckling nervously. "Maybe you two are too har-"

"No." the man's attempt to defend the mother of his child and ex-girlfriend from the wrath of Bulma and Chichi was cut short as their glares shifted towards him and they answered his question in unison before he could finish asking it, making him gulp nervously as he felt their hateful auras.

[Musical Cue #1: Opening- Time to Say Goodbye (RWBY OP)]

Kami's Lookout,

Around the same time as Goku entered his new stance to charge his new attack, Dende had been perplexed about what was coming next. He had been watching the fight for its entirety and had been on the edge of his seat, so to speak. He stood on the edge of the round, floating platform of the lookout as he ground his teeth and was constantly sweating nervously, to the point that his attendant had brought him water to drink several times so that he wouldn't be dehydrated from the amount of sweat that he was producing.

"I just don't understand." he started talking as he kept his gaze down towards the Earth and more specifically on the wasteland in which the fight was occurring. "Why is he even bothering with all of these new techniques of his instead of using more reliable techniques or just blasting the bastard with the biggest Kamehameha that he can produce? Why is he fighting like this? Does he want to screw us all over?" the child guardian of the planet asked out loud, mostly to himself while taking out his frustration on the fact that he couldn't do anything but watch as the planet's greatest fighter and the savior of Namek was slowly losing more and more ground.

The pitch-black-skinned attendant of the lookout was standing behind his new master with a new glass of water in his hand as he was listening to the rant. "Is it not obvious?" he inquired as the young, green-skinned boy turned around with a confused look on his face as he looked at his attendant. "He's wearing Cell down with an attack that is far superior to any Kamehameha that he can create to either kill his foe Cell or whittle him down to the point that he can give up and let someone else finish the job. That was his plan from the start." the djinn explained nonchalantly with an emotionless expression as he handed over the glass of water.

The boy took the glass and drank until it was completely empty, which was when he handed it back to his assistance in order to speak once again. "So... if the latter theory of yours is correct, then who do you think he is going to pick to finish off Cell?" the new guardian of Earth tried to inquire out of his assistant. However, the reply that he got caused his face to contort with unbridled rage.

The Cell Games Wasteland,

Everyone had tensed their body, not knowing what the Mastered Super Saiyan was trying to do. That attack was nothing any of them had seen him use before, with the exception of his son, who had seen the usage of this technique inside the Hyperbolic Time Chamber while they were training, just like with the Super Saiyan Flare technique that he had created. But unlike that technique, the usage of this technique made Gohan feel incredibly nervous, as he was starting to shake and quiver in his spot, which most of the warriors noticed.

"No, no, nononono." he started to mumble to himself as looked at his father entering the stance of his new technique. "He has to be holding back some new power that will defeat Cell. Another ace in the whole. He can't be using this technique. He can't. He can't, he can't, he can't, he can't..." he continued to mumble to himself further as his eyes were filled with fear.

"What are you talking about, Gohan?" the lavender-haired time traveler inquired as he was extremely fearful to see the younger version of his master quivering like a little boy. The fact that Gohan was so nervous and fearful of what was going on made him feel unnerved.

After a few seconds of silence in which the rest of the group looked at the young Mastered Super Saiyan, he finally started talking. "When dad and I were inside the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, dad finished perfecting this technique." the golden-haired 11-years old said as he could feel his skin crawl while beads of sweat formed on his forehead. "He said that he used a prototype technique against Freeza on Namek. When I asked him on how he would define it..." he took a pause and took in a long breath before continuing as everyone had been anxious to hear what he had to say. "...He told me that he would only use this technique if there was no way that he could defeat Cell." the Super Saiyan boy clarified as he kept his eyes on his father's frame.

Everyone's eyes widened in shock as they looked back at Goku, realizing that he was going to use this attack because he didn't believe that he could beat Cell at all. This made Yamcha fall on his knees and shake with disbelief and despair as he realized that Goku, and by extension all of them, had no chance of beating Cell.

"So this is what he had promised me when he spared me? Despair? Because he just got what he wanted." the former bandit lowered his head in defeat as his silver hair of the Mastered Burst Limit form turned back into black as the man mentally admitted defeat.

However, Raditz immediately clicked his tongue as he glared at the scar-faced martial artist. "Yamcha, don't be an idiot. We still have Katanaji and myself who can beat Cell, even if Kakarot can't." he told the man with an irritated tone as he looked back at his brother. "You can't lose hope because that's what that bug bastard wants. What we need to do is just tire him out and then destroy him, and maybe have Vegeta killed to do so." the long-haired Super Saiyan said as a devious smirk appeared on his face as he said the last sentence.

The prince heard the comment and immediately stormed forward and grabbed the brother of Goku by the collar of his spandex. "Say that to my face, low-class bastard!" he screamed at the man's face angrily as he ground his teeth and bared them as a way to threaten the brother of Goku, though it was mostly bravado and the burly Saiyan could see that. He knew that the prince wasn't stupid enough to even try when there was still an enemy forcing them all to work together.

Meanwhile said enemy was listening to the entire conversation as he glace was on the group on the cliff, raising an eyebrow upon hearing what the son of his opponent had said about the technique and it made him curious. He floated a bit closer towards his opponent, who was still in his stance, but nothing seemed to be happening. "Tell me, Goku, is this true that you only use this technique on opponents that you can't defeat? Is this truly a technique superior to the Kamehameha wave at full power? Do you admit being my inferior?" he inquired as his tone seemed intense but carried no killing intent or any other real emotion in it.

Goku merely looked up and chuckled as his whole body tensed into a lock while in the stance as he felt power slowly gathering, being focused on a single point. "Yep, I admit that you're stronger than me, even if you had been holding back your power to a level that was completely identical to the level of power that I possess." he admitted as his glance turned to his fist, which his left palm was covering while he gritted his teeth and sweat started to appear on his forehead. "When I used it on Freeza on Namek, the attack was incomplete and after I fully recovered on Yardrat I noticed how the muscles weren't working right for like a month." he want on explaining as his tone became more and more strenuous, which made his amalgamated adversary raise both eyebrows at the sight.

"Where are you going with this, Goku?" the humanoid being with the plated, dark-blue exoskeleton covering his body asked as he started to feel chills being sent down his spine as his ki sense perked up with the amount of energy that he felt was being compressed into that right fist of his opponent.

More and more sweat started to cover the Super Saiyan's body as a veil of golden light started to surround his entire frame, with his right hand having now a golden aura of ki surrounding his right fist pushing against the left palm backwards, with the palm barely managing to hold and push against the powerful aura.

Soon enough, Goku's entire body was drenched in sweat as he smirked and continued on with his explanation. "Y-You s-see, I m-managed to master i-it t-to t-t-the point w-where that d-doesn't happen, but it t-takes a l-l-lot of t-time to c-ch-charge, a lot of fo-fo-focus and most of my k-k-k-k-ki." he stuttered in pain as he groaned and gritted his teeth even more as he continued to charge his attack and the golden aura around his body started to slowly grow. "Gohan is w-wrong to say that I've ma-ma-mastered it or p-perfected it. I still need to im-improve on a lot o-of aspects." he continued to talk, as if he was trying to use it as a way to lessen the pain and strain on his body.

Hearing all of that long explanation in the grueling and tormented-sounding tone of the golden-haired fighter made the rest of Earth's defenders become increasingly more concerned and fearful for the safety of their friend. Even Vegeta seemed to look fearful of his rival and the one he wanted to defeat the most out of all the Saiyans would die from using the technique.

"Hey Kakarot, don't die on me before I get to kill you! You hear me, low-class clown?! Don't die from your own stupid attack!" the flame-haired prince shouted at his rival with an agitated tone as a sort of a motivator, which surprised everyone who understood that it was mostly a way to motivated the Super Saiyan who was fighting for his life down there.

Hearing that made Goku smirk while Cell rolled his eyes with annoyance at the constant shouting of the prince. "L-Loud and c-clear, Vegeta." he said as the aura around his body grew and expanded away from only his body, turning into an orb of light that was covering a small area around its user, turning brighter and brighter as time went on.

As everyone in the area watched in awe at the sight, including the TV announcer, the cameraman and Mr. Satan, who had removed his mask of bravado to cover his fears and incomprehension of the situation the moment that they all figured out that the camera couldn't function anymore.

[Start Musical Cue #2: Girei (Naruto Shippuden OST)]

Much to everyone's surprise, the ground started to shake violently beneath their feat as rubble started to float upwards into the sky. They saw as rocks of all shapes and sizes rose up slowly into the air while beneath everyone's feet the ground opened up, slowly and steadily making large gashes in the ground that could break apart the crust of the Earth and bring forth its blood, lava. But instead of the hot, molting lava that the Z-Fighters were expecting to pour out, a number of pillars of pure golden light arose from those large spaces in the ground, forming a circle of light around the entire wasteland as more rocks rose to the sky, creating a large ring of rubble floating everywhere above everyone's heads, making the experienced fighters to get drenched in sweat while the powerless humans looked like their pants could've went brown at any moment.

The Z-Fighters were quiet as they were completely stunned from the spectacle that was the charging of the new technique brought to their eyes, with even Perfect Cell dazzled and frozen from the enormous power that he was feeling below him all the while there was a complete spectacle of flash above and around him.

'Incredible. Such flash from merely charging this attack, though I assume that was not supposed to happen.' he thought to himself as he saw storm clouds coming in from a distance, lightning already dancing around them violently, which made the amalgamated being's eyes to widen. 'No way... He's affecting the weather to this extent already? It's definitely not the same as Yamcha's technique, but I'm still getting a very similar vibe. I need to assess things quickly and methodically or I will die.' the self-proclaimed perfect organism thought to himself as he ground his teeth and kept looking around him at the flash.

"This is a bit of a relief."

Dende turned around after hearing what his attendant had said just a moment ago about what was going on with the technique that Goku was using, which was hard since the boy's attention had been so stuck on the flashing columns of light and the ring of rubble that had formed around the entire area. He was even able to look in a straight line from the edge of the lookout and see the columns of light flashing violently with a golden light as all the clouds around the planet were being drawn to it and turning black and had lightning dance all around them.

When his enhanced Namekian hearing barely caught the words of the djinn, he turned around and looked at his assistant with a perplexed expression. "Did you say something, Mr. Popo?" he asked curiously as he switched back and forth from looking at the chubby djinn and back at the ring of light.

The being with the pitch-black skin nodded his head as his expression was completely emotionless as he also looked at the ring of light. "What Goku is doing is definitely his spiritual animal technique, though unlike with what Yamcha did, Goku isn't linked to a universal entity. That's why I said that it is a bit of a relief." the mysterious attendant spoke up as he explained to the guardian of Earth the meaning of his words.

The djinn sighed as he looked at the green-skinned boy. "Do you know what The Entities are?" he asked with a serious tone, to which the boy simply shook his head while his face showed curiosity and a lot of interest, which got the attendant to start explaining. "The Entities are basically manifestations of some sort of a universal concept inside the universe that is represented by an animal. For example, Yamcha summoned The Wolf, our universe's manifestation of the concept of hunger, though his attack only summoned the being momentarily." the djinn explained as he gave Yamcha's final attack against Cell as an example.

Dende looked absolutely lost in the explanation, not understanding a single thing. "How is that any different than a spirit animal?" he asked as he tried to understand how Yamcha's attack from before was any different to the attack that Goku was charging now.

Mr. Popo sighed again as he started talking again. "What Goku is doing right now is an actual technique that he developed, with his ki turning into the shape of an animal. It does not has a mind of it's own. An entity does have a mind of its own. They want to become physical. They are far superior to any regular spirit animal attacks that can be created, even the one Goku as performing right now." he explained to the new guardian of the planet as the two silently turned back their attention back to the ring of light columns that pierced through the storm clouds that were gathering around it.

At the Capsule Corp. building everyone in Bulma's apartment was staring at the screen with shock and amazement as they followed the footage the drones were sending them from the scenes, though it was actually hard to see what was going on for almost everyone because of the flashing golden columns of light in the arena.

However, despite not having a full clear view of things, those who could sense ki were sweating and gulping like crazy from the overwhelming power that they were sensing from there. The lavender-haired girl herself was screaming in pain from the sensory overload on her mind through her ki sensing ability, all the while the old master held to the girl and using some old techniques that he had learned to heal her and reduce the stress on her mind using ki. Bulma and Chichi were looking at the girl with fear, panic and terror, especially Bulma who felt helpless at seeing her daughter suffering and she didn't know whether or not she should've tried to stop the old master.

"This power is unreal..." Krillin said out loud but almost as a whisper as he was in total disbelief that his best friend could produce such a technique on his own. "It may not be as strong as Yamcha's but this level of power is way beyond anything a Kamehameha could even reach in his current state." the martial artist stated as he shook in his spot like a leaf.

The female Saiyan kept her eyes shut and focused on the ki that she was sensing. She was shaking like a leaf as well while her daughter was in her arms and sitting on her lap, but the woman was shaking because she was beyond excited, which reflected on her face as she had a childishly exhilarated grin on her face that reached from one ear to the other.

"This is utterly fantastic! I'm sweating like a... like a..." she started to say as she looked confused trying to remember something, so she opened her eyes and looked at her ex-boyfriend and the father of her daughter. "Hey Krilli-Billy, what does that yummy fat aminal called in the expression?" she asked him innocently as Oolong, who was also in the room gave the noseless monk the stink eye.

Krillin noticed it and chuckled nervously as he looked at the woman who sat next to him nervously as she looked at him with such a big, sweet and innocent smile. "I think that it would be inappropriate to answer that here in front of everyone." he told her as he looked around and saw that the shapeshifting, perverted pig smirked and nodded at him with an approval at the answer.

Back at the Cell Games arena, or at least where it used to be, Goku continued to charge up his attack as now the aura that had started as a glowing, orb-shaped aura around his fist and as a veil of aura around his frame has turned into a large dome of aura that covered at least a length of 10 meters around him, with the ground constantly shaking and rocks levitating in the air and pillars of light rising from the cracks. After that, the dome of golden ki transformed into a shape that looked identical to Shenron's head, just made of golden ki, much to everyone's amazement. He himself was grunting in pain as he felt all of that power being condensed into his fist and it still hurt a lot. From all the time that he took in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, he may have improved the technique's power and removed the damage aftereffects, but the cost was a tremendous charging time and immense pain to his arm.

The power of the energy that Goku emitted overwhelmed the entire group of the defenders of the Earth and even the greatest creation of Dr. Gero and Dr. Wheelo, forcing all of them to form several layers of barriers around them to prevent them from being either fried or blown away by the power of the technique. Gohan also acted as quickly as he could, using Instant Transmission to appear next to Mr. Satan, Jimmy Firecracker and the Z-TV cameraman and formed a barrier of his own to protect them.

The boy ground his teeth as he closed his eyes and dug deep inside. 'Get angry, but don't snap. Get angry, remember Freeza! Remember how you felt when Mr. Piccolo left you! Darn it, get angry, Son Gohan!' he thought to himself as he vizualized moments from his time on Namek and how powerless he was against the white-skinned tyrant who massacred his friends and all of the Namekians. Then he remembered his farewell from his original mentor and the frustration and sadness that he felt from the whole situation, and that caused the fire inside of him that was his anger to burn and rise to a level that was powerful, but didn't cause him to snap. One of the biggest results of his training.

With his anger rising up, the 11-years old Mastered Super Saiyan could feel his own power skyrocket by an incredible amount, but it wasn't what it could have been if he had snapped. 'It's working, I'm definitely angry, but I can control my emotions and act rationally while wanting to...' he started to think to himself, but stopped when he realized he was getting to the point that his thoughts and intents turned malicious, which caused him to take a step back and calm his mind, which decreased his power boost by a noticeable margin as he held his barrier steady while his eyes had a fearful . 'No, I'm not going to snap... I'm not going to snap... I'm not going to snap... I'm not going to snap. I'm not going to snap. I'm not gonna snap, I'm not gonna snap, I'mnotgonnasnap.' he started repeating these words faster and faster in his head as sort of a mantra that was filled with terror.

Meanwhile Goku finally shifted his stance slightly as he finally allowed his left hand to move away from the right fist, with the left hand flying to the other side as it was spread wide and he started to shout gruelingly the name of his technique. "DRGAON" he screamed as the blue weighted undershirt that he had left on his torso was ripped off to pieces and burned away in golden flame that was the result of the intensity of the condensed ki of this incredible technique.

Not wasting any time, the Master Super Saiyan dashed at incredibly speeds towards his opponent, closing the distance between the two within moments to the point that it even shocked said opponent, who had created as many layers of barriers that he could with his power, but he was still concerned on whether or not it was enough as he fearfully remembered Yamcha's last technique in that fight not too long ago. "FIST!" the golden-haired fighter shouted at the top of his lungs as he sent forward his right fist, which stopped inches away from the amalgamated being's barriers, but it was enough of an order for the dragon head shaped attack to move forward as it opened its mouth.

The attack expanded from the dragon head as the jaws of the head crunched the barrier and immediately started to push the round ball of ki which Cell used to protect himself from the attack with immense momentum, creating a humongous body that matched Shenron completely, down to the smallest detail with the exception of the golden body color and the white eyes of the ki structure.

The giant serpentine flew forward and its force was so tremendous that the barriers already started cracking, much to the terror of the self-proclaimed ultimate life form as he noticed that the slithering of the monstrous dragon was making his round barrier to move so fast that he was going across the entire planet very quickly.

As it moved into the atmosphere, the dragon flew around and pushed its target across the planet itself, making the ground shake and the skies to turn golden wherever it passed. Whenever it passed somewhere on the planet, people in the area could see the giant dragon passing in the cloudless sky, making all the various people across the Earth to look up in awe, fear, devotion, as if they were seeing a mythical beast or a god out of fairy tales and myths.

If one was to see this spectacle from outer space, he would see the pretty small line of gold going across the entire globe in a circular motion as it kept moving forward. This was truly a sight of a mighty technique that surpassed anything that Son Goku had ever produced.

As Cell kept getting pushed, he purred more and more energy into his barriers to try and repair them all and hope that they wouldn't break from the dragon's ki filled jaws that were biting into them and cracking them up constantly. He was sweating buckets as he gritted his teeth and with his full power kept on doing his best to keep himself alive.

'Damn it, this just won't do. Sooner or later the barriers will give in and I'll be destroyed without a trace. I have to keep my nucleolus alive and functioning if I want to regenerate from this attack.' he thought to himself as he tried to think rationally and make a plan quickly before he was gone for good.

As the dragon pushed on and on, it finally returned back to the wasteland were it originated from, making a complete circle around the entire planet in just a single minute. After it reached back above everyone in the location, the head of the dragon started to turn and make a push in a different direction: upwards.

Everyone saw as the giant golden dragon started to slither and fly towards the atmosphere of the planet, quickly reaching it and leaving it and entering the vastness of space. Down from the cliff that they were standing on, the defenders of Earth and Vegeta looked in awe at the sight that they were seeing.

"This is... I can't even fathom how I created something more powerful than this?" the former desert bandit and now professional baseball player said as he fell to his knees and his eyes bugged out from the shock of seeing something so stupendously powerful, remembering the humongous wolf he created against Cell. "Then again, I used the Genki from Earth's core to do it." he said as he gave a nervous chuckle, only to notice that the giant Namekian was glaring daggers at him.

"And believe me, you can bet that it hasn't been forgotten, or forgiven." the giant, green-skinned warrior told the human as he was visibly angry. A leftover of Kami's emotions towards the man's reckless act.

Tien looked up and gritted his teeth in awe and in anger, feeling frustration and pride as his eyes were glued to that giant ki structure. 'To hink that even while I have the same mastered Burst Limist like Yamcha did, I still don't have a spirit animal attack like him and Goku.' he thought to himself as he then looked at the source of the attack, Son Goku, who was still screaming from the effort and pain of using the technique while he was inside his golden dome of energy. 'You really are the greatest, Goku. But I will close this chasm between us one day.' he thought to himself as his fists clenched tighter and a smile formed on his face. 'In the meantime, destroy that bastard.' he kept on talking to himself as he returned his gaze upwards.

Vegeta himself growled angrily as he looked with eyes widened at the draconian ki structure with disbelief. 'How does that fucking low-class scum keeps getting ahead of me all the fucking time?! If he perfects and masters this technique, then how am I supposed to prove myself the strongest Saiyan?!' he thought to himself as he also clenched his fists tightly, so tightly that it ripped through his gloves and skin and drew a bit of blood from his palms.

Raditz looked up with his jaw having fallen and hanging while also a smile forming on his face, looking like he was having a maniacal expression on his face. 'Damn, brother. How far are you going to go? I can't compete with this! Mother and father are probably looking at you proudly from Heaven and Hell with pride feeling them.' he thought to himself as he kept his eyes up as he couldn't see the head on the dragon anymore.

Meanwhile at space, Cell watched as his barriers were giving in faster than he could've fixed them, so he decided to do one last action to save himself. With the time that he was pushing against his adversary's attack, he moved his nucleus that his responsible to his regeneration to his right middle finger, and then he created a ki blade with his left hand while his right was busy on the barriers. With one swift motion he cut off his right hand, right at the point that the barriers shattered to little pieces. With a single kiai at the last second, Cell pushed the hand away from the head of the dragon and back into the Earth.

After he succeeded, the maw of the ki structure closed in on him, reducing the body of the perfect being into nothingness. His screams of pain did not have time to leave his windpipes before his body turned to ash, only for that ash to atomize an instant later. When the structure also closed its mouth, it glowed and started to explode.

[End Musical Cue #2]

On the lookout, the new guardian of the planet looked incredibly concerned. "That idiot! With the way that his attacked wrapped around the planet, Earth is going to be destroyed in the entire blast! Maybe even the entire solar system!" he screamed in a furious and panicked state as he saw the dragon's serpentine body glowing across the planet.

Of course, he was talking to his attendant who was standing next to him, looking completely emotionless as his usual self. However, the chubby djinn suddenly sighed with a defeated tone to his voice. "I miss the time when I didn't constantly have to repair entire planets." he said in a voice that was completely alien to the young boy, a voice completely different from the voice that the boy heard thus far coming from the djinn.

Suddenly the boy looked back as he felt like something was happening, only to notice that a runic barrier appeared around the lookout and underneath the body of the ki structure around the entire planet in just a few instances before the thing exploded and blinded the boy from the powerful golden-white light that it emitted.

In space, the dragon fist exploded, releasing a massive flow of energy as a golden shockwave that pushed the golden energy around the solar system. Of course, the barrier that Mr. Popo created protected planet Earth completely, making the energy move through it as if it was intangible.

Instead the energy kept on going, instantly consuming the moon, blackening it and turning it into atoms in just a few short seconds. The energy then continued to move faster than regular light speed as it approached other stars and planets across the solar system.

Meteorites that were in its path disintegrated as if they had never existed in the first place. The wave then reached Mars, covering it in a second and then a few seconds later turned it into atoms, just like it did to the moon of Earth. While that happened, the wave also reached Venus and consumed it, giving it the same fate that the moon and Mars suffered.

Soon enough even Mercury was consumed as well, blackening it and turning it into atoms before the energy clashed with the sun and stopped on one side. On the other side it started to consume Jupiter, atomizing half of it before the wave of energy suddenly dissipated completely, leaving the solar system damaged.

Back in the wasteland where the Cell Games was taking place, Goku's aura finally dissipated as he fell down to the ground, his hair as black as coal and his eyes just as black as he reverted back to his base form, having no more energy left to even move, let alone keep up his Super Saiyan transformation.

When he fell down towards the ground, he was caught by his older brother right before hitting the rocky ground. "Nicely done, brother. You won the day yet again." he said with pride filing his voice while a small smirk appeared on his face. "And for a second there you had us all worried." the oldest son of Bardock told his younger brother as he flew back up to the cliff and put the tired fighter down next to everyone, where he was given a Senzu bean to heal him up completely.

The Earth's greatest fighter jumped up on his feet with a big smile on his face. "Woo! That feels great! I actually thought that the technique would fail to kill Cell and then I would have to go to the next part of my plan, but it seems like we don't have to worry about that now." he told his friends as he started to laugh out loud with the rest of the group, minus Vegeta following up with laughter of their own, completely missing the hand that landed around the wasteland.

The man then looked at the other cliff where his son had been protecting the three powerless humans and waved to him with a huge grin on his face he signaled to the kid to come other to him. "Hey Gohan, you can come back here now." he told him with a jolly tone as a second later the boy appeared next to him with the Instant Transmission.

The boy jumped on his father, hugging him intensely with a giant grin on his face. "You did it! I knew that you'd beat him for good! You really are the best, dad!" the boy cheered loudly with a cheerful and optimistic tone, showing that he was completely ecstatic to see his father pulling the victory and saving the planet once more.

Suddenly, the father and son's eyes widened in shock as they felt a tiny spec of a very familiar ki signature somewhere around them, but didn't know where it was specifically. They were horrified to realize that Cell had survived the attack somehow and was now probably regenerating himself.

Katanaji had the same reaction as the two Saiyans, but he simply heard several "BELCH!" sounds and "PUMP!" and "THUMP!" sounds coming from the same direction, to which he looked with a horrified expression. "No way... How? This cannot be." he said as he looked in the general direction in which he heard the sounds coming from. "You've got to be kidding me. This can't be real. How could he survive an attack of that magnitude from point blank range?" the Namekian asked as he gritted his teeth with frustration, which got the attention of the rest of the Z-Fighters.

With one last "QUELCH!" sound the body of the perfect being appeared on top of a hill that wasn't too far from everyone, causing all the fighters to stare at him with horror, with the exception of Son Goku who had an expression on his face that showed that he was both excited and glad.

"Okay, this is just utterly ridiculous with how much this guy is just coming back from every attack that we throw at him!" the former desert bandit said angrily as he showed clear signs of frustration. "We constantly throw more and more powerful attacks at him and his regeneration still keeps him alive! Bryco first used his Soulfire technique at point blank range, then Vegeta threw at him his own super technique, then Tien nearly Kikohoed himself to death and Goku and I threw spirit animal attacks at him! Can he actually be killed?!" Yamcha detailed the great lengths that they all went through to try and permanently get rid of the greatest creation of the two mad doctors since he first appeared before them in Ginger Town.

Then everyone sense his power to see what his condition was in comparison to what their sense told them, and the difference was staggering. On the cliff Cell was visibly breathing heavily and falling on one knee and drench with sweat, showing that he was exhausted from regenerating from the most powerful attack that the Earth's greatest defender and martial artist could produce. But despite that...

"His power is still the same. He looks like he could collapse any moment, like he is barely standing up. But his power has not dropped below the point that it was in the entire fight with Kakarot." Bryco said as his eyes widened with the realization of what his words just meant. "He has been holding back most of his power the entire time. And now with the massive Zenkai that he probably got..." he continued to explain as his body was genuinely shaking with fear.

"We never stood a chance. None of us." the older brother of Goku said as his body was so stiff that it was frozen in its tense stance, sweat drenching his entire bulky frame.

Hearing them, the amalgamated being stood up and started to float towards the group of warriors while he was still heavily panting from all the energy that he had used in order to regenerate from the attack that he had been hit with. But despite how tired he was, he still smirked as he saw the faces of despair of the Z-Fighters.

"Incredible... Huff, huff... simply... incredible... Huff, huff." the creature said as he was continuously panting and huffing from exhaustion. "You really... *huff*... outdid all of my expectations... *huff*... Goku." he continued to speak as he stopped in the air and slowly raised his arms with extreme difficulty as he entered a fighting stance. "Ready *huff* for another round?" he inquired with a big, excited smile on his face.

The palm-haired Saiyan was about to say something, but he was quickly cut by the green-skinned giant of a man, who had an angry and disbelieving expression on his face as he glared at the exhausted creation of the two mad scientists. "How?! How did you regenerate?! I could never regenerate from something like that! If the nucleus in my brain is destroyed, then I die, pure and simple! How did you survive?!" the alien questioned the amalgamated being as he was frustrated and astounded by how he had survived the Dragon Fist.

Cell looked down at Katanaji and simply smirked while still continuously panting heavily. "Piccolo's... *huff*... Cells within me... *huff*... Were evolved beyond their... *huff*... regular level. *Huff*... My nucleus is more durable than yours... *huff*... And can be transferred across... *huff*... My entire body to wherever... *huff*... I please." he explained to the Namekian fusion of Piccolo and Kami as he seemed all too smug and proud about his superiority over Namekian regeneration. "However, it doesn't remove the stamina drain... *huff*... Completely. It only... *huff*... Reduces the cost." the amalgamated finished his explanation about his level of regeneration before looking at his opponent, still wanting a fight despite how tired he seemed to be. "So how about... *huff*... That round 2... *huff*... Goku?" he inquired as he kept on his gigantic grin on his face.

The youngest son of Bardock looked his foe straight in the eyes casually and then put his own hands on his waist and shook his head. "Nope. I give up. I can't beat you." he said nonchalantly, shocking everyone. Everyone's eyes widened to the point that they nearly burst out of their skulls, with Gohan, Trunks and Yamcha sporting especially horrified looks on their faces, feeling truly hopeless. However with Trunks, the hopelessness quickly changed into anger.

"You've got..." Tien and Bryco spoke in unison while their faces showed complete disbelief.

"To be..." Raditz and Katanji continued the sentence their friends and allies started while their faces were angrier.

"Fucking..." Vegeta growled furiously as he gritted his teeth.

"KIDDING ME!" all the Z-Fighters alongside Future Trunks and Cell and with the exception of Gohan all screamed together as they were utterly flabbergasted and filled with anger at the man just throwing the towel as if this fight was not one for the fate of the entire planet and maybe even the universe.

"That's... *huff*... Not right! You can't... *huff*... Do this to me, Goku! *Huff*... A fight as grand... *huff*... As our own should not... *huff*... End like this! So transform... *huff*... fly up here... *huff*... And punch me in my perfect jawline!" Cell started throwing a temper tantrum over the fact that his fight didn't end the way he had wanted, not that rest of the Earth-raised Saiyan's allies looked any less prepared to scream and rant in his face.

Goku quickly raised his hands defensively while looking at everyone. "Hey, hold on guys. I have a plan, remember. We still have one more person who can defeat Cell without a doubt." he spoke up as he tried to calm down everyone and get on with what he had truly been planning this entire time.

Upon hearing this, Raditz, Yamcha and Katanaji took a step back mentally and quickly did their best to calm the rest of the group for a good minute before addressing the Earth's greatest fighter personally. The task of calming down everyone wasn't an easy one as Cell was getting very angry and impatient and Vegeta, Trunks and Tien were the most outraged by Goku's decision. However they did calm down eventually and allowed the more calm members to talk to their friend.

"Alright, brother. Who is the one fighter among us who can defeat him, huh?" Raditz asked his little bother as he also looked quite upset, but he sounded like he was willing to hear his brother out.

Goku simply smiled widely as he then put his hand on the head of his Super Saiyan son who stood next to him. "Alright, Gohan, you're up." he said with a jolly tone as this immediately enraged the three Z-Fighters who were more willing to listen until a moment ago.

Gohan's eyes simply widened in shock and confusion.

[Musical Cue #3: Eding- Creeping in My Soul by Cryoshell]

With Goku's biggest and most powerful technique that he had ever used failing to kill Cell, he now shows his latest part of his plan and last ace in the hole: his son, Son Gohan. Will the boy be able to be the one to stop the ultimate life form once and for all? Find out on the next chapter of Changed Path...

Well, I really liked writing this chapter. I don't have much to say about this chapter except for the Dragon Fist. I wanted it to have an incredible showing so I took some inspiration from Yu Yu Hakusho, namely the first scene in which Hiei summon the Dragon of the Darkness Flame. If some of you haven't watched that scene, go and watch it. For those that did, I hope that you could have found the similarities and found the chapter enjoyable.

R&A:

R: Alas, poor Tien. Can't help but feel bad for him in this chapter, especially with Cell tearing him down in a most brutal manner.

A: Yeah he was. Poor Tien. I hope that you liked this chapter. I really am trying my best with this story.
