After Hogwarts
Epilogue
After her graduation ceremony, Victoire met up with her family and together they all returned to the Burrow for a celebratory dinner with the entire family.
Victoire spent a week at Shell Cottage with her parents and siblings, and then moved in with Teddy in his apartment in London.
Victoire began working at the London Herbology Research Centre in July of 2018 as a research assistant. The work wasn't easy, but Victoire loved it, and every night she came home with exciting stories to tell Teddy and her work and the people she worked with.
Teddy continued to work as a junior administrative assistant in the international office of trading standards. Though it wasn't glamorous work, Teddy enjoyed what he was doing, especially knowing that what he was doing was to support himself and Victoire and whatever future family they might have together.
Teddy wasted no time once Victoire was out of school. Their first night together in the apartment, Teddy cooked a fancy dinner for Victoire and during dessert, got down on one knee and proposed. Victoire, of course, said yes. After all the two had been through, they knew they were meant to be together forever.
In February of 2019, Victoire and Teddy were married, surrounded by their family and friends. It was a beautiful winter day that neither of them would ever forget.
In July of 2019, after working at the London Herbology Research Centre for a year, Victoire was promoted to junior researcher. She was given her own lab, and the freedom to do her own research. She began researching the use of wand light on different varieties of plants in place of sunlight.
In December of 2019, Victoire gave birth to her and Teddy's first child: a girl who they named Aimee. Aimee Lupin was the tiniest baby Victoire had ever seen, and the two new parents had so much love for the little witch they'd brought into the world.
In February of 2020, Teddy was promoted to senior administrative assistant. The job came with a salary bump which the new parents welcomed gladly.
When Victoire's maternity leave came to an end in September of 2020, Victoire decided not to go back to work. Though she had loved working in the greenhouses with the plants, she loved Teddy and Aimee more, and she wanted to provide for Aimee what her mother had provided for her. She knew someone else could continue her research, but nobody else could take her place as Aimee's mother.
In December of 2020, Teddy and Victoire decided it was time to move out of their apartment and into something a little bigger. Things were already cramped with the three of them, and Victoire was pregnant with their second child. They bought a house by the beach, as Victoire had discovered that she missed listening to the sound of waves crashing and being able to take walks along the sand every morning.
In February of 2021, Teddy was promoted to junior trading officer. Again, the job came with a significant salary bump, and Teddy now had staff under him to supervise.
In May of 2021, Victoire gave birth to their second child: a boy. They named him Arthur, after Victoire's grandfather. Arthur was a fair bit bigger than Aimee had been at birth, and now that Victoire and Teddy had gone through this before, they were much more confident in their skill as parents.
In July of 2022, Teddy was promoted to senior trading officer. With this newest promotion, Teddy now had his own office, and even more staff to supervise. He had junior officers reporting to him every day and occasionally had to travel for meetings with trading officers of other countries.
In November of 2022, Victoire gave birth to their third child. She was a girl, and they named her Isabella. Aimee, now almost three years old, took on the role of big sister in stride. She loved both her siblings dearly and Victoire and Teddy discovered amusedly that she had a bit of a bossy streak.
As their children grew up, Victoire and Teddy slowly discovered that each of them had their own unique and wonderful personalities.
Aimee loved being outdoors. She was always collecting different bugs, and trying to bring them into the house, no matter how many times Victoire explained that bugs don't belong indoors. Teddy and Victoire saw evidence of magic in their first child from early on. Aimee had a knack for making flowers grow that could only have come from her mother.
Arthur's magical abilities were not immediately apparent. Arthur was much more reserved than his sisters, often keeping to himself when the two of them would go off to play. He preferred quieter activities, especially drawing and coloring. It didn't take much for his parents to realize he had an artistic streak. By the time Arthur was five, the entire house was covered in examples of his artwork.
Isabella was their little troublemaker. She definitely had a naughty streak. She was always getting into things she shouldn't, including occasionally stealing her parents' wands. Aimee would often take it upon herself to catch Isabella and punish her before Teddy or Victoire even found out what had happened.
After working as a senior trading officer for many years, Teddy was eventually promoted to executive trading officer in 2027. He was a little young for such a big promotion, but his work was excellent, and he had built a good reputation for himself amongst their foreign trade partners. With this new promotion, Teddy did have to travel more often, but it only made the time he got to spend with his family even more precious.
Though they had their fights, just like any couple, Teddy and Victoire never stopped loving each other. They were the kind of couple that other couples looked up to. And having Teddy and her three little angels, Victoire couldn't imagine having chosen any other life.

After graduation, Kara went to work at the St. Mungo's daycare. She continued to date Johnathon Cadwallader for a while, but they began to drift apart after leaving Hogwarts. Eventually, Kara fell for a healer-in-training she knew from the hospital, Matthew White, and broke up with Johnathon.
Kara and Matthew ended up getting married in August of 2020. They had six children: Jeremy, Olivia, Samantha, Nicholas and Thomas (the twins), and Madelyn. Kara finally got the big family that she'd always wanted since she was a child.
Kara ended up quitting her job to stay at home with her children. She and Victoire get together often. Arthur and Jeremy became the best of friends, and Isabella enjoyed playing with Olivia and Samantha.
Matthew eventually did become a healer, and he devoted his life to curing magical hyperplasia. After seeing the effect and the toll that it took on his wife, he took a special interest in the illness. Though he himself never found a cure, he laid a lot of the groundwork that would eventually lead to a medical breakthrough for that and other similar conditions.
After Kara broke up with him, Johnathon went on to become a lawyer, and eventually became a member of the Wizengamot.
Brianna got her internship at the Wizarding Wireless Network. She spent just under a year working there but got bored and quit. She broke up with Stanley, deciding that monogamy wasn't for her, and spent a few years travelling the world.
Brianna led quite the scandalous life for a while, meeting lots of famous witches and wizards and even having brief affairs with some of them. She found herself in quite a few tabloids, which Victoire would always shake her head at as she came across them.
Brianna eventually ended up back in London with her own show on the WWN. She never settled down properly, always travelling for her show. She also began a campaign to institute a healthy food trolley on all wizarding trains across the globe.
Brianna continued to pop in on Victoire and Kara now and then. Though she never had children of her own, Victoire and Kara's children loved her, calling her 'Auntie Bri'. Brianna always made sure to bring presents from around the world whenever she visited, and the three girls remained close throughout their lives.
Raina did manage to start her own business selling her fertilizer and it ended up being wildly successful. She never settled down with anybody, and instead continued to adopt kneazles so that eventually Ricky had eleven other kneazle friends to play with.
Raina eventually opened a small shop in Diagon Alley, to sell her fertilizer along with other herbology supplies. Victoire always made sure to stop in to say hello anytime she was in the area.
Caitlin did end up making the reserve team for the Holyhead Harpies, but Adrian did not make it onto any team. The strain of that caused them to break up shortly after leaving Hogwarts.
Caitlin played a couple of seasons before a head injury benched her permanently. She ended up working in the Department of Magical Games and Sports with Adrian and they got back together, eventually even getting married.
Caitlin and Adrian had one child, Dustin, who ironically hates Quidditch. Victoire would occasionally see them when she went to the Ministry to visit Teddy at work, and she and Caitlin always exchanged a smile and a wave.
Joe Sanders had started dating Ellie Sawbridge shortly before graduation and the two moved to America shortly after leaving Hogwarts. Victoire never saw Joe again, which suited Teddy just fine.
Billy Carmichael went to work at the Department of Magical Transport's Portkey Office. He quickly got bored of the mundane life of a ministry worker and quit. Unfortunately, he burned through his limited funds quickly and ended up back home with his parents.
When his parents realized that he was making little effort to find a job, they kicked him out and he ended up living on Teddy and Victoire's couch for a few months. Teddy got him back on his feet, helping him to secure a job in his department, and Billy was able to move out on his own.
Eventually, Billy got transferred to Sweden, as the British Ministry's permanent representative in the Swedish Ministry. Billy met a nice Swedish girl and the two settled down in her country.
Dana, Victoire's friend from America, did get a job at the Dublin Herbology Research Centre. She moved to Ireland and ended up discovering a new use for wiggentree. She and Victoire remained penpals, and though at first Victoire felt a little bit of jealousy that Dana took the job she would have had at the Dublin Centre, Victoire never regretted the choices she made.
Beverly Longman dated Tyson Perry for a while after breaking up with Teddy. She married him right out of Hogwarts, but they got a divorce a few years later. Beverly ended up working at the Magical Menagerie cleaning out the animal cages. Whenever Victoire visited Diagon Alley without Teddy, she'd stop by the window of the shop and watch for a moment smugly.
Nathaniel Peterson went to work in the Department of Mysteries and was never seen or heard from again – not that anyone was looking for him. After breaking up with Raina, he never dated anyone else.
After breaking up with Kara, William Shimpling dated May Enlow. He went on to become an obliviator, but he abused the power and started obliviating wizards so that he could steal from them without them knowing. He eventually got caught and had to appear in front of the Wizengamot (which included Johnathon). He was convicted and ended up serving a brief sentence in Azkaban.

Teddy and Victoire watched their children grow up and eventually go to Hogwarts themselves. Aimee, Arthur, and Isabella Lupin made their family proud. Eventually all three of them grew up and moved out, beginning their own lives. Teddy and Victoire continued to live in their house by the beach, seeing their children and the rest of their family often.
In their final days, Victoire and Teddy reminisced over their lives, smiling and laughing as they remembered stories from their days at Hogwarts and after. They had lived good long lives and regretted nothing. Even the time they'd spent apart, Victoire knew had been important. It had shaped them into the people they'd become.
And when Victoire said her final goodbye, she knew that she'd accomplished the most important thing. She'd loved, wholeheartedly and unconditionally. Love had given her life meaning. And knowing that, she went peacefully and with a smile on her face.
