Jim was lucky that Blinky was such a good organizer because he was able to transport all the trolls to a cavern close to where he predicted the Heartstone was. After a full two days of searching, he and Toby eventually came across some uprooted Heartstone and tracked it to an abandoned cavern with more than enough room for the trolls. Transferring the trolls was another problem and setting up the apartment back in Browns Mill didn't necessarily help. Nevertheless, they were able to discretely transfer all the trolls to the new Troll Market and get somewhat organized. But all that had to be done in the night since the caverns didn't travel under the town. Making him lose more and more sleep Jim was less excited for Claire and Cassidy's arrival that came sooner than he thought. His mother and step-father's departure came much too quick, but he was lucky to still have Toby who was looking at nearby colleges since graduation was a few months away.

"Any new plans?" Jim asked, entirely over the now daily conversation. After three weeks they still were yet to develop a well thought out plan that had any chance of defeating the Arcane Order.

Blinky and Douxie exchanged wide-eyed looks, filled with uncertainty and leaving Jim suspicious." What is it?" he asked, leaning against a boulder that worked as a table.

"We had one plan," Douxie began, obviously not confident with it.

"Lay it on me," Jim said struggling to stay awake after a restless night with Cassidy. They'd only arrived two days earlier but Jim was shocked to see she wanted to sleep less than ever. The stone helped a little but she still refused to sleep, forcing both Jim and Claire to cater to her.

Blinky cleared his throat, lacing and unlacing his many fingers."This plan I must warn you does involve a lot of ifs,"

"Ifs?" Jim questioned, unsure what exactly he meant. He wished Toby was there, some comedic relief would be good to hear but his friend was busy looking over colleges in neighboring towns.

"What he means is a lot has to be put to chance," Douxie deciphered, mindlessly scratching a sleeping Archie behind the ear.

"Okay..." Jim said, standing up to force himself to pay some attention to his body movements. Expecting a reply or at least synopsis of the plan, Jim was disappointed when the two remained silent."Will you just-"

"It involves Claire,"

Jim became fully aware when he heard his currently pregnant, wife's name." How so?" he asked, wanting to give it a chance but fearful of using Claire when she was so vulnerable.

"The Arcane Order is similar to Morgana in the sense they can't be destroyed." Douxie began."You can't destroy them but have to trap them. Now we don't have the time to wait until Claire is at her strongest and can use her powers but we have another idea how to use her. Blinky and I theorized that we could use Time itself to our advantage and trap the Arcane Order in the past."

"It's a good plan," Jim said able to picture it working."But how do you plan on using Claire?"

"Whilst under conception, we know Claire is unable to use her shadow magic. But when she was expecting young Cassidy, she was able to use and even control the girl's powers." Blinky said, continuing to fiddle with his fingers, unsure how Jim would perceive the plan."Though we can not be sure this child has any magical abilities, if it-"

"She does," Jim interrupted, fully aware Estelle had powers, but not able to picture how it could be of use to them.

"Might I ask how you know?" Blinky asked, a puzzled look on his stone face.

Jim turned to Douxie who wore the same amount of wonder as his mentor."When you sent me and Claire back to the past something went wrong." he chose to not include the fact it was Merlin's doing since he personally didn't want to share all facts of their seemingly depressing future."Instead, we were sent to the future and in that future, we met our future children."

"Are you serious?" Douxie asked, a shocked look on his face.

"Yes," he sighed, happy about some aspects of their future but not all."Anyway, in it, I met our current baby, the one Claire's pregnant with. Her name Estelle and she did have powers."

Though still questioning how the Time Map could've failed, Blinky grasped Jim's shoulder firmly."Can you recall her abilities?"

He nodded."Mind manipulation. She was able to influence what I thought about and even my emotions."

"This is perfect," Douxie exclaimed."If we are right and Claire is able to use your unborn child's abilities,"

"Then she can influence the Arcane Order," Jim said, a smile appearing on his tried face," and make them vulnerable."

"It's a reach," Blinky admitted, tapping his chin deep in thought."Time is a fragile thing and easily the child inside Lady Claire could not be Estelle."

At the true fact, Jim felt his heart lurch. Though he wanted to rewrite the future he'd seen, he didn't want their children to change in any way. In just a few days, he'd fallen in love with his two sons and three daughters and didn't want a single thing to change about them."We still have to try. Now speaking of time, won't it just move on and they'll be able to start over or could they just return using their own magic?"

Douxie frowned, setting the Time Map on the table."Once we've sent them back to a time where magic did no exist yet, Nari and I will hex the Time Map to make it an endless loop," Jim waited patiently for the end of the thought but Douxie remained silent, speaking in a low voice," then I'll destroy it, making it so there is no return."

The end of the plan initially caught him off guard but made sense since Time was a dangerous thing and needed to be destroyed."Makes sense but is that the only Time Map?"

"No, that's why Nari and I made a couple of pit stops on our way back," he said, setting three more identical Time Maps on the table." There were only four Time Maps ever made. Some weren't easy to find but we've managed to snag them all."

"What about the ones in the past?" he asked, ignoring the vibrations of his phone, assuming it was Toby with another rant about how cool college would be.

"Those must stay so all these events can happen. I'm hoping that destroying these won't affect any events in the future that will call for time travel," he said, placing the small items back into the box they were originally in.

"Master Jim, can you recall any possible need for time travel when you and Lady Claire visited the future?"

He shook his head." No," he sighed hoping Blinky and Merlin were right about the future not being set in stone.

"Good, it would be best if you could bring Claire down here tomorrow so we can make sure she can use the baby's powers."

"I will," he said, looking at his phone. He had over a thousand texts from Toby, all of which he never planned on reading.

. . .

Freed from the bitter cold, Jim began the long gruesome climb up the two flights of stairs. As he passed each door he could hear many conversations through the thin walls and soon whimpering noises from his own daughter. Fumbling with the keys he pushed open the door to apartment 19, their small one-room home. Like every apartment in the complex, the room included a small kitchen that fit a fridge, oven and just two feet of counter space. The bathroom luckily had a bath and not just a shower, since after multiple failed shower attempts with Cassidy they excepted the fact it was impossible. The walls were a yellowish-white that they eventually hoped to paint. Pushed against the wall opposite of the door was their twin-sized bed that was positioned to act as a couch during the day time. They had bought a cheap two-person table that worked surprisingly well.

"Da!" Cassidy shrieked tears running down her face. Claire sat on their bed Cassidy beside her. In her hands she one of her onesies that she was struggling to get on her.

"Hi baby," he said, face brightening seeing both his girls. He scooped up the smiling baby and kissed her small cheek, Cassidy beginning to do her Motor Cycle Hands in excitement."Were you a good girl for mommy today?"

"For the most part at least," Claire said, lying the onesie back down on the bed. She rubbed her stomach in a comforting way looking down at it."Her little sibling was the naughty one today."

"Still puking?" he asked sitting down beside her, bouncing Cassidy on his lap. She squealed at first but quickly began coughing, forcing Jim to stop.

"Mhmm," she groaned, covering her mouth with her hand while the other one remained on her stomach."I shouldn't have had that pizza,"

Gently rubbing her back, Cassidy stared at Claire, wonder in her eyes, "B-Bee Be-ee," she stuttered, moving her hand toward Claire's stomach.

"Yup the baby makes mommy sick," Jim frowned, watching as Claire stood up, rushing to the bathroom where the sound of puke was prominent. Cassidy's lip quivered turning towards the bathroom door beside her."Don't worry, she'll be okay,"

"Fuck," he could hear Claire complaining. Appearing quite drowsy, she joined them back on the bed hair thrown up in a bun.

"Wanna take a bath and I'll get her in bed?" he asked, rubbing her back as her head rest in his lap.

"No, just sleep," she murmured, kicking her feet up onto the bed. Jim smiled, continuing to rub her back as he leaned back, cradling Cassidy in his other arm. She stared sleepily up at him, blue eyes tired but refusing to close. Pressing his finger on her forehead he guided it down her nose, repeating over and over until her eyes were finally shut."Ugh, quite it," she groaned, rubbing her stomach.

"Have you had any Tylenol?" he asked, wanting to find any way to make her feel better.

"No," she said, struggling to sit up.

"I can get it," he said, continuing to hold the sleeping baby as he stood.

"Thanks. I have to feed her," she said, holding her arms out. Jim gently set Cassidy in her weak arms, making sure Claire was conscious enough to hold her.

Holding a Tylenol pill in the palm of his hand, he listened to the sound the falling tap water made hitting the sides of the plastic cup. Sadly, it didn't drone out the sounds of their noisy neighbors and Claire's groaning towards Estelle. Once shutting off the tap, the pinging noise his phone made caught his attention. He sighed seeing another text from Toby. He ignored it returning to Claire who needed him more than Toby did.

"Thanks," she said, slowly downing the glass of water. An at that point rare smile entered her face crossed her face as Jim leaned his face close to her stomach.

"Hey Estelle," he whispered,d pretty sure that was the first time he'd actually spoken to her(well that time's Estelle at least).

"You're going to be disappointed if it's a boy," she said, running her fingers through his short black hair."Though I do like the name, Estelle, for a girl at least."

"What did you have in mind for a boy?" he asked, though was almost 100% certain it would be a girl.

Claire looked up at the ceiling, thinking deeply."Nolan,"

"Nolan?" Jim questioned, unable to remember her mentioning he liked the name.

"What? You don't like it?" she asked mentally growing other boy names she'd like."We could always go the James root."

"Hah, no way," he said, though started wondering what pushed them to name Jaime, Jaime." No, I like Nolan," he said pressing a gentle kiss against her stomach."Hey, Estelle,"

"Or Nolan," Claire added, hand on his head, pressing it closer to her stomach.

Jim laughed."Right, or Nolan."

"Can you believe it?" she asked, lulling Cassidy to sleep in her arms." In a few months, we'll have two babies."

"I know, it's insane," he said, rolling onto his back, head resting on her lap. Staring up in her chestnut eyes, he stroked her tender cheek."I love you."

"I know." she replied as if it were the simplest thing in the world." I love you too." seeing she struggled to lean over Jim lifted his head, lips meeting halfway to one another. Though they relished in one another's touch, the moment was short-lived when his phone vibrated again, letting him know he had another thousand messages from Toby.

Reluctantly, he pulled away from his wife's embrace, sighing as he sat up."Seriously Tobes," Picking his phone up, he finally went to messages and read through the latest texts.

Hearing Jim's unusually annoyed groans, Claire grew slightly concerned."Everything alright?" she asked, eyes following as he pulled his coat on.

"Toby missed the bus back," he explained, struggling to fit his foot into his boot."He needs a drive, I'll be back in a bit."

"Okay," she said, uncomfortable with him driving so far in such a new place."Be careful,"

He found it sweet she worried about him even if there wasn't a need to."I will,"

The roads were iced over forcing the teen to drive slowly. It was pitch black and few cars were on the road. The headlights of his mother's(now his) shone the way through the town. Eventually, he found the entrance to Mercer County Community College where Toby seemed to like and already planned on enrolling in. A few college kids were in the parking lot, rushing to their cars to escape the bitter cold. Along with them was Toby, nearly slipping on the ice multiple times before making it to the car.

"You really couldn't keep track of time?" Jim asked, wishing he was back home with Claire and Cassidy.

Holding his hands in front of the crappy heater, Toby shook his head repeatedly, hoping the motion would warm himself up slightly." Sorry Jimbo, didn't mean to interrupt anything he." he apologized, tone suggestive.

"You're so immature." he sighed, turning his head to not hit any college kids. He really didn't want to deal with a lawsuit at the moment.

"Well, you guys outta. I don't even know how you guys managed to make another with Cassidy." Toby said, sinking into his sweatshirt.

"There weren't a lot of opportunities I'll tell you that,"

To avoid the late-night traffic, Jim scoped out a new route following the edge of thick woods."Wait Jimbo stop!" Toby commanded, pressing his nose against the window, leaving a mark as he pulled away.

Questioning what brought the sudden uproar, Jim took his foot off the gas, leaning towards Toby's window."What is it?" he asked, able to see nothing but still forest.

"I saw something move... There!"

There was something moving in the woods. It seemed small, but not a coyote or rabbit. It moved in a strange delirious motion and was nothing but a black shadow in contrast to the shaded snow and dark forest. Somewhere on it, something seemed to glow a deep vermillion orange."Go slow," Jim warned, silently summoning daylight. From behind, Toby gripped his travel-sized Warhammer he kept on hand all the time now. As they approached the creature at a snail's pace, the glow disappeared and the creature seemed to shrink.

"What the hell is that thing?" Toby asked in a high pitched whisper, rupturing Jim's eardrum.

"Sshh!" he screeched in response, flexing the tip of his sword forward to move the bush keeping them from the creature. Slowly, he parted the twigs. Toby shone his phone's flashlight, set on a dim setting, on the creature, and both were shocked, relieved, and confused seeing what it was.

"That's... less scary," Jim said, leaning forward as Toby took a step back.

"I don't know Jimbo... kids are pretty scary," he said, teeth chattering from the cold.

The creature was very much a child, a little girl around the age of 5 to be specific. Father instincts kicking in, Jim picked the freezing child up with no hesitation."Let's get her in the car," he said, able to feel a pulse(a slow one at that) but also that she was freezing, nearing hypothermia. Laying her down in the backseat of the car, Jim let his armor go, removing his jacket and wrapping her in it. Holding her so the coat warmed her pale skin, Toby and Jim got to finally look at her.

"What's with her clothes?" Toby questioned, able to see the clothes most certainly not belonging to that century.

"I have no idea," Jim said, relieved when a little color returned to her face." Is that?" he asked, noticing she had a satchel, on which there was an embroidered seal.

"Camelot," Toby said, recognizing it from their visit to the castle."But that doesn't make sense."

"Do you think she's..." Jim stopped himself, the thought absurd. But nevertheless, there was something off about this girl. She was small, donning a round face and freckled face, a deeper one on her cheek and forehead. Her hair was a dark brown and cut messily at her shoulders, matted down with ice crystals. She was dressed in a drab dark violet dress and a dark green cloak over that, both of which were from the time of Camelot."You drive,"

"We're bringing her to the police," Toby said, climbing into the driver's seat. Not getting a response a minute into driving her turned back, "right?"

"No," Jim answered, wiping the snow off her face."She's from Camelot, that's its Seal. I don't know how but she's from then and we need to figure out how."

"Okay but it could easily be that her parents are weird Shakespearean freaks or something like that..." he argued, failing immensely in the end.

"No, I know that's the Camelot Seal and if she's from there, then something is wrong." Keeping two fingers pressed against her neck Jim frowned seeing her pulse was still too slow to be counted as normal.

"Should we call Doux, since you know he's from there?" Toby asked, pulling into the parking lot of the building complex he and Claire lived in.

Kicking the back door open he stood up, continuing to hold the 5-year-old who should've died centuries ago."Probably," They quietly climbed the stairs, hoping no neighbors would come out, forcing them to explain why they had an unconscious girl dressed in medical clothing.

"Hey Nunez," Toby said entering the apartment, even if her last name was no longer, Nunez.

"Shhh!" she responded, exiting the bathroom after yet another vomiting fit." I just got Cass down and I don't want her to wa..." her words faded as she noticed the child her husband was holding."What the hell is-"

"We found her," Jim interrupted laying her down on their bed, removing his coat from her limp body and replacing it with a warm blanket. Taking the satchel from her shoulder he gingerly set it beside her, turning back to his cornered wife."On the way back Tobes saw something in the woods so we went to investigate and it was her."

"Well why didn't you take her to the police?" she asked, falling silent again when she noticed her satchel." That's the Camelot..." she lightly traced the Seal embroidered with black thread.

"Exactly," Jim said turning to the cradle when he heard a light fuss from Cassidy but ended seconds later.

"What are we going to do?" she questioned, shivering when she felt the girl's frozen cheek.

"I'm going to call Douxie since he's from Camelot and once she wakes up we can ask her herself," Jim stated, pulling his phone. As it rang he prayed this wouldn't put a detriment on their plan.

I want to remind you that Jim is unaware of Jaime being trans so in any thought sequences he'll think Jaime, not Lindsay.
