Supernatural AU Pt.3

After the events of last night Beca had told Stacie she was more than welcome to stay over since it was late. And maybe a part of Beca wanted to keep her here just to make sure Stacie was safe. Nothing wrong with that right? That shouldn't mean anything.

Beca woke up early the next morning and made her way towards the kitchen. As she entered, she was surprised to find Stacie up and sitting on the island.

"Morning." Beca said.

Stacie looked over to her and smiled brightly "Good morning Beca."

Beca made her way towards the fridge "Hungry?"

"Starving." Stacie answered.

"How do you like your eggs?" Beca asked.

"Oh scrambled. I could make them; you don't have to cook for me." Stacie said feeling bad.

Beca waived her off "Please you're our guest and had a shocking night."

"Oh, thank you." Stacie said.

Beca nodded and started cooking eggs and put some bread to toast.

"I have some more questions if you don't mind." Stacie said shyly.

Beca chuckled "Ask away. Don't be shy."

"Your eyes? Does every vampire have the same color eyes?" Stacie asked.

Beca shook her head "No, we all have different color eyes. They can actually change over time, for example as a kid my eyes were ice blue. But now they go from dark blue when I'm human like to purple when I vamp out."

"Vamp out?" Stacie asked amused.

"That's what Emily has always said." Beca chuckled.

"Your eyes aren't just purple you know." Stacie said.

Beca turned around "Oh no? What are they?"

"There like the galaxy. Looking at them is like staring at a photo of the galaxy. There is purple but you also have these white specs that look like stars. It's just beautiful." Stacie said with a smile.

Beca smiled back "Thank you."

"How about Emily?" She asked.

"Well, her eyes are normally hazel but when she vamps out her eyes are a mixture. One eye is more blue and the other is more green. It's pretty cool." Beca answered.

"Can moods alter the color?" Stacie asked.

"Sure, they can. The more hatred you have in you, the darker your eye is. The happier and forgiving you are, the brighter your eye is. I wouldn't say mood as much as who you are." Beca replied.

"Is that why your sister's eyes were dark yellow?" Stacie asked.

Beca sighed and took her time serving breakfast and calling out for Emily before she turned off the stove. She placed the plates down and fetched the juice along with the jam for the toast and sitting down. When she sat down, she looked at Stacie.

"Yes. When I said she made a deal last night, she actually made a deal with a witch. A witch that specializes in dark magic. I don't know the specifics, but she came out of it with the ability to use magic and a hellhound which you have to do some pretty dark shit to get one of those." Beca answered.

"A vampire that can do magic. That's a scary thought." Stacie mumbled.

At this time Emily appeared mumbling a good morning and giving Beca a hug before sitting down and digging in.

"Alexia wasn't always the best at fighting, that was me. She was better when it came to the book stuff; you know history, rules, procedures, medical stuff, etc. etc. Point is, she couldn't do the physical stuff, so she got into witchcraft at a young age. Where we lived, we had a witch that practice what they called light magic, pretty much healing and curing people, and Alexia was always around her asking questions. By the time we were both 14 she had learned quite a bit and was able to perform some spells." Beca said before trailing off.

"But then she became a bitch." Emily said.

Beca slapped Emily upside the head "She was fascinated with it and always wanted to do more. She meant well and was a sweetheart, I actually used to be the mean one out of the two. But then our parents got killed and that was the beginning of her change. She was different after that, more vengeful and darker. So, when I did what I did and they casted her out, she found a dark magic witch. And dark magic feeds off one's anger, hatred and vengefulness." Beca finished.

Stacie finished her breakfast "So how do you stop her?"

"I don't know. I've always been able to hold her off in battle, but I know she's learning darker magic and that's what I'm afraid off." Beca answered.

"Is there anything you can do to counter that? Like abilities?" Stacie asked.

Beca shrugged "Not that I know of."

"What can you do exactly? Can you turn into a bat?" She's asked with a smirk.

Beca laughed and gave her a shove as she picked up the plates "No."

"Not many can." Emily answered.

"Not all vampires can do the same things. Sure, we may all be capable of doing them but not everyone can learn it or channel it." Beca answered as she finished cleaning the plates.

"Ok so what can you do? Or what abilities do you possess?" Stacie asked.

"Well due to my size, I rely on my quickness and agility. I'm one of the fastest and most agile vampires alive, not to mention my stamina is one of the best. Of course, there's the superhuman strength, durability, senses, I could scale walls, hypnotize people, immortal and healing. Those were just the basic stuff that pretty much every vampire has. Now what I can do is telepathy which is how Emily and I communicate." Beca said before getting cut off.

"Like talk through each other's mind? Is there a radius?" Stacie asked.

"Not really sure. But we always talk like that in public mostly." Beca answered.

"Anyways what else, uh oh yeah clearly sunlight doesn't affect me or Emily, I can read minds, my hearing is enhanced as you noticed at lunch. That's about it." Beca finished.

Stacie looked at her with wide eyes "That's it? Beca you just named 14 skills you have. That's insane."

"Well, I have been alive for almost 2 centuries." Beca joked.

Stacie shook her head and looked at Emily "How about you?"

Emily looked shy all of sudden "Oh not much."

Beca rolled her eyes "Em it's alright. Tell her."

Emily nodded "Pretty much same as Beca except for I can't read minds, hypnotize as well as she can, and my hearing isn't as good."

"That's because your still young Em." Beca said.

"You two have officially become my new favorite people." Stacie said amused.

Beca looked at Stacie hesitantly "You're really ok with this?"

Stacie nodded "Yeah why?"

"It's just people are usually afraid and try to kill us." Beca answered.

Stacie looked towards Emily "Is that what you meant when you mentioned low profile? And how she isn't keen on people?"

Emily nodded "Yeah."

Stacie looked at both of them "I promise I'm ok with this. More than ok actually. I think you two are awesome and if it's ok with the two of you, I would love to hang out with you guys more. I trust you two and I hope you can trust me." Stacie said.

"Thank you for the kind words and we'd love to spend more time with you." Beca said.

"Yeah, Stacie we'd love to keep being your friends." Emily beamed.

"Awesome, one last question, can you guys show me some of your abilities?" She asked excitedly.

Beca looked at Emily before the two laughed and got up.

"Backyard. Time to put on a show." Beca said.
