"Look at the city!" Chloe said with astonishment. "It's in shambles…". Goh said dismayed. "A four day storm, and we were lucky to have left just before it hit." Ash said glumly. "We should head to the lab. Everyone's probably waiting for us." Chloe said determined, walking to go get her things. "Ash, I know that look." Goh said seriously. "What look, there's no look." Ash said defensively. "Yes there is. It's the same look you have when you have one of your 'great' ideas." Goh said with a hint of sass. "Goh, there is only one thing on my mind, and that's making sure everyone's okay." Ash said calmly.

"It's good to see you all back." Professor Cerise said, going to hug Chloe. "How's everyone doing?" Chloe asked. "We're all okay, but most of the city is without power right now." Ren said looking at a tablet. "Are you still on board with this Professor?" "Absolutely, we can hold some overflow of people until the city is a bit better." Professor Cerise said calmly. "We just faced a disaster, it's no time for closed doors."

Just after midnight.

"Come on Pikachu. We have work to do." Ash said waking up Pikachu. He had been up relaxing the bandages, and decided to take action. "Let's get the others but try and not wake anyone." Ash whispered as they walked through the lab. They had around 50 guests staying here, while their homes were either inaccessible or destroyed.

Around 8 in the morning.

"Yawn. Morning Dad, morning Goh." Chloe said sitting down at the table. "Hey Chloe, have you seen Ash?" Goh asked concerned. "No, why?" Chloe responded. "I did." Ren said walking in slowly. "Where?" Goh said surprised. "He was leaving the Pokémon Center about 2 hours ago." Ren said grabbing a cup of coffee. "And lab cams show him last here around 4." Ren said, taking a sip. "What has Ash been doing for four hours?" Chloe asked confused. "One way to find out." Goh said standing up. The two quickly left the lab to find Ash.

"Okay Ren said he was at the Pokémon Center last so…" Goh said absentmindedly, when Chloe pulled him from his collar. "DRAGO!" "CHAR!" The two Pokémon zoomed by, carrying what looked to be steel beams. "Was that?" Goh asked. "Yep." Chloe answered. Making it down the stairs they saw Ash and some others standing around a table. "Okay we can allocate some more Tauros over there after lunch." Ash said pointing on the map. "How close are we to getting power back to sector 3?" A main in a business suit asked. "We should have 'em up and running within the hour. Then we can send some backup power to the residential side that's cleared." A man in combat boots and camo pants said.

"Ash, what's going on?" Goh asked approaching. "Oh hey Goh, hey Chloe. We're just helping out with getting the city back." Ash said before a flame went up a bit in the distance. "Not again!" Ash shouted angrily before running over there. "Ash wait up!" Chloe said running after him with Goh right behind her. "Alright Squirtle's use Water Gun!" Officer Jenny commanded. A team of six Squirtle in sunglasses quickly doused the flames. "We've been over this. These are combat trained Pokémon. When you say to give it their all, their all is for against things like legendary Pokémon!" Ash exclaimed. "Sorry Ma'am, never repaired a building with a Quilava before." The construction worker said. "It's fine just be careful." Ash said calming down.

"Ash where's Pikachu?" Goh asked catching his breath. "He should be at the Pokémon Center, why?" Ash said confused. "Why aren't you there with him?!" Chloe scolded. "Because I can't generate that kind of electricity." Ash said even more confused. "Wait what?" Goh said shocked. "Come on I'll show you." Ash said heading back to the map.

"We split the city and surrounding areas into 12 sectors. Pikachu and Lt. Surge's Raichu are in sector one where the Pokémon Center is. Sector three is the port. So on and so forth. We've scattered electric types as best as we can to get power back to the city." Ash said looking at the map. "And what does that mean?" Chloe asked seeing a beam of light shoot up a ways off. "Not good." Ash said running towards it.

"Bulba!" A Bulbasaur said approaching Ash. "Thanks Bulbasaur. Gible you're up. Use Rock Smash!" Ash said sending out a Pokémon. Within a minute the pile of rubble was much smaller, and the path cleared. Reaching into his bag, Ash pulled out a red flag, and put it into the ground. "What's that for?" Chloe asked seeing the flag. "It's so people know that the path isn't fully cleared for travel." Ash said. "How can we help?" Goh asked ready to jump in. "Talk with Lt. Surge and the mayor. I'm just overseeing my Pokémon." Ash said, running off again.

"Well we could use more electric types in sectors one and four." Lt. Surge said looking at a list. "And we can use as many swimmers as we can cleaning out the bay." "I'll take Boltund and Raichu to the center, you grab your water type Pokémon and head to the bay." Chloe said determination in her eyes.

"That's a lot of debris." Goh said stunned at the large pile on the shore. "That's what the B Team couldn't take care of." Ash said. "B Team, who's the B Team." Goh said confused. "Snorlax takes care of any food that went in there. Muk takes care of any toxic waste, and Melmetal eats up the metal." Ash said pointing to his Pokémon. "Well I brought some more for the A Team!" Goh said holding up some Pokeballs. "Glad to hear it, when they come back, yours can join." Ash said. A few minutes later Corphish, Buizel, Oshawott, and Palpitoad came swimming back with a net full of debris. "Come on out everybody. Goh said sending out his Magikarps, Dewgong, Goldeen, Mantyke, and Chinchou. "That should help speed things up. Buizel I'm counting on you to help them get this done." Ash said confidently.

"Oh wow." Chloe said walking into the Pokémon Center. Humans and Pokémon alike were being treated amidst a panic. "I'll be right with you ma'am." A Nurse Joy said. "I brought some electric types, I was told they were needed." Chloe said holding up the two Pokeballs. "Back of the hall on your right." A second Nurse Joy said. Chloe managed to find the room to see Pikachu and a Raichu running on treadmills, electrodes hooked up to their cheeks. "Are you here for a drop off." A man in coveralls asked. "Uhh, yeah. Is this safe?" Chloe asked a bit concerned. "That's why I'm here. To make sure the levels stay solid, while also keeping the Pokémon strong."

"Umm, what are Boldore and Torterra doing?" Goh asked, seeing the two not moving. "I think Torterra is keeping that wall steady. As for Boldore though, I don't know." Ash said dumbfounded. "Hey Boldore are you alright?" Ash said running up to it. "Thank Arceus you're here." A man said running up. "Boldore was doing great until just a bit ago, and then it just stopped." The man said. Ash knelt down next to his Pokémon. "Boldore, what's wrong?" Ash asked, concerned. Had he pushed his Pokémon too far. "What are you looking at?" Ash said turning his head in the same direction Boldore was facing. "Umm, Ash?" Goh said worried. "Not now Goh." Ash said concentrating. "I really think you should move!" Goh panicked. On instinct he grabbed Ash just in time.

Boldore's body was overflowing with cracks, a glow emanating from it. "Everybody run!" Goh said, dragging Ash quickly. Where Boldore stood, there was a cloud of smoke, the wall Torterra was holding up began to wiggle. The explosion had knocked something loose! "GIGA!" A voice called from the cloud as a force stopped the wall from toppling. On the other side of the wall was a Gigalith. "Boldore evolved!" Goh said in shock. He was sure it was using Explosion. "Way to go Gigalith!" Ash said hugging his newly evolved Pokémon. "Well what are we standing around for! The wall has enough support, let's get it finished!" The worker called out to the other men.

Much later

"Good work out there today everyone!" Lt. Surge said giving a toast. "We still have a ways to go, but thanks to all of your efforts, the city is well on its way to being back to the way it was." "Hopefully we'll have it ready in time for the Wallace Cup." The mayor added a bit more humbly.
