Chapter 45
Callie waited exactly 6.3 seconds after Arizona walked through the front door before she pounced on her wife. She pinned her up against the nearest wall and kissed her like she hadn't seen her in weeks instead of mere hours. Arizona dropped her bag and the contents spilled all over the floor. She was definitely taken by surprise when Callie attached her lips to hers so ferociously. Callie began to unbutton Arizona's shirt one by one, kissing a path down the newly exposed skin. Arizona snapped her head back. She grabbed the back of Callie's head and ran her fingers through her thick dark hair. After Arizona's shirt was thrown to the floor, Callie started on her pants. Her fingers were fumbling. She wanted Arizona naked…now. She had been daydreaming about taking her wife since she walked into the house hours before. She was incredibly worked up and she wanted like never before. Arizona brought her hands to her pants button and calmly undid them, giving Callie a little smirk. Callie dropped to her knees, pulling her pants and panties down with her. Arizona stepped out of the pants and was nearly thrown off balance when Callie lifted her leg over her shoulder.
She wasted no time in diving in. She wrapped her lips around Arizona's bundle of nerves and sucked hard. Arizona was surprised at how aggressive her wife was being, but was by no means complaining. The pleasure she was feeling was out of this world. She tangled her fingers into Callie's hair again and pressed her into her center a little harder. Her eyes rolled back into her head as Callie nibbled on her clit. Callie brought her fingers up and circled Arizona's entrance. She dipped a single finger inside of her wife and felt her walls tighten around the digit. Callie groaned at the feeling. The vibrations made Arizona fall over the edge. She gripped Callie's hair tightly as her fists clenched. Callie licked and nipped gently as her wife came down from her high. She kissed the inside of her thighs and Arizona's hands began to loosen. She looked up into the blue orbs she loved so much and smiled. She wiped her mouth with the back of her hand and let Arizona's leg drop back down to the floor. She tried to stand back up, but couldn't.
Arizona started chuckling softly. 'It's not funny Arizona! Help me up!' Callie pouted.
Arizona grabbed her wife's hands and pulled her up and into her arms. 'Hi.' she said softly placing a kiss on her wife's lips.
'Hi.' Callie said deepening the kiss. Arizona tasted herself on Callie's tongue. She started backing them up and pushed Callie down on the couch. She loosened her pants and pulled them down long tan legs. She settled herself between Callie's legs and saw that she was glistening. Arizona licked her lips before running her tongue through Callie's wet folds. Callie sucked in a quick breath. She was so worked up from her daydreaming and listening to Arizona come that she was already on edge. Arizona sucked her engorged clit into her mouth and entered her with two fingers. Callie arched her back and moaned loudly. Arizona pounded her fingers into her wife. Callie was writhing and nearing her orgasm quickly. It was only a matter of seconds before she was screaming Arizona's name.
Arizona sucked her fingers into her mouth and swept some hair from Callie's face. She smiled softly at the look of contentment her wife had on her face. Arizona ran her thumb along Callie's jawline. 'Did you enjoy yourself Calliope?'
Callie was still catching her breath. She opened her eyes and smiled. 'I did. I was daydreaming about you all afternoon.'
'Was it as good as your daydream?'
'Better. Always better.'
'We should probably take a shower. We have a party to get to. We should do it together though. It saves water and all.' Arizona said pressing a lingering kiss to Callie's lips.
'Yes. We are dirty. Very dirty.' Callie's said in her super sexy husky voice. They went upstairs. There was always time for a few more orgasms.
After a very satisfying shower, they made the quick trip up the hill to Amber and Lexie's place. It was Lexie's birthday and they were having a big birthday party. Cars lined the street with arriving guests. Callie and Arizona were told to just come in the house when they arrived. They heard the upbeat music as they got closer to the door. Arizona turned the knob and they were both blown away by the amount of people that were in the house. Interns, residents, and attendings from all departments were in attendance. They also saw a few of the less nosy nurses hanging around along with many people they did not know. The furniture was pushed to the side of the room to allow a makeshift dancefloor in the living area. That is where they found the birthday girl and her girlfriend.
'I don't remember Amber liking to dance so much. Lexie has brought out this whole other side of her.' Callie said to her wife.
'They are good together. Let's go say hi.'
They made their way through the crowd and got Lexie's attention. Lexie smiled and pulled Amber over to their friends. 'Hey! You made it.'
'Happy birthday!' they said together.
'Thanks. Grab some food and something to drink. We have champagne and non alcoholic drinks in the fridge. Take what you want. There's plenty.' Lexie said to them.
They were starving from their afternoon activities and were eager to get some food into them. They were in the middle of the kitchen making their plates when they heard a few of the interns talking not so quietly amongst themselves. 'Come on, $100 says they got married. They went to Vegas and now they are throwing this kick ass party. They got married.' One intern said.
'This is a birthday party, you idiot. They did not get married.'
Callie and Arizona shared a quick look. They didn't think their friends would get married and not tell them. They were pretty close to the other couple. They would tell them, for sure. They had plenty of time to spill the beans on the ride home from the airport.
The interns left the kitchen and rejoined the others in the living room. 'You don't think they got married, do you Calliope?' Arizona asked.
Callie was stunned by what the interns said. 'No! They just moved in together. Do you think they did?'
'I don't know. The could be using this party as a cover to have a reception maybe. I just don't know.'
Arizona walked over to the fridge with two cups. 'What do you want to drink? They have non alcoholic champagne, or soda… Oh my God, Calliope!'
'What's wrong?' Callie was confused. What could possibly be so worthy of a reaction like that in the fridge?
'Do you know what this is?' Arizona asked as she pulled out a bottle of champagne.
'Champagne?'
'Not just any champagne Calliope. This is $1000 champagne. There's at least six bottles of this in here. I know what our bank account looks like and it's not $6000 champagne money.' Arizona exclaimed.
'Those damn interns are right then. They did get married!' The women turned to see, none other than Miranda Bailey standing in the kitchen with them. 'Those two can't seem to keep their hands to themselves either. They got married!'
'How do you figure that, Bailey?' Callie asked.
'Why else would you serve expensive ass champagne like that at a birthday party. They did it. The fools got married and didn't tell nobody.'
The three women looked into the living room to see the two lovebirds wrapped in each other's arms. They both shared kisses and soft touches. They were looking very much in honeymoon level love.
'We don't know anything until we know something.' Callie said. 'Let's not jump to conclusions.' They finished pouring their drinks and took their food outside to the patio where the children were playing in the yard.
They saw Meredith off to the side with an older man and woman who was holding little Riley. He had his head laid on the older woman's chest and looked extremely comfortable with her. 'That must be Thatcher and Susan. I'm so glad that Meredith can bond with her dad. Now Zola has a grandfather in town.'
'It's great. I wish our parents lived closer. Although my mom would probably never leave if she did live here. Maybe it's best is she stays in Miami.' Callie chuckled.
'I know what you mean. I love my parents to death, but I know my mom. She would be the same way. The Colonel would have to peel her out of the house.' Arizona laughed.
Amber stepped out on the patio. 'Hello my friends. I'm just checking on the kids and taking a dance break. Are you having a good time? Did you get enough to eat?'
'Did you get married?' Callie asked. She wanted answers.
'Huh?' Amber had her attention on the yard trying to locate her kids.
'Did you get…'
'Mama! Me and Zola want a drink. Can we have some fizzy drink?' Maci asked interrupting Callie's questioning.
'Sure thing big girl. Come into the kitchen and we will get you and Zola some fizzy drink.' Amber turned back to go into the house with the little girls following right behind her.
'Kids have the best timing, don't they Calliope?'
'I guess we better get used to it. These two are going to do the same thing.' Callie said rubbing her belly.
The interns from the kitchen saw Callie and Arizona on the patio. They sat down across from the women. 'Doctors… we have a little bet going tonight. I say that Dr. Mitchell and Dr. Grey got married. $100 what do you say?'
'I say you better remove your behind from that seat and quit making stupid bets about people's lives.' Bailey had come out of the house just as the intern started talking. The interns did not want the wrath of Miranda Bailey so they scattered immediately.
Bailey sat down at the table with the other women. 'Stupid interns. When are those babies due, Torres?'
'About two months, but we'll see what these two have planned. Arizona's brother helped us get the nurseries set up while he was here this week. They look so good. We have the cribs set up and are going to have these custom letters spelling out their names. They are special order because of what they are made out of. I hope they get here in time.' Callie explained to the smaller woman.
'What are their names?' Bailey asked.
'We want to tell everyone when they are actually here. We already told everyone that it was a boy and a girl. We want their names to be a secret.' Arizona said.
'I get that. I'm so happy for you both.'
'Thanks Bailey.'
It was time for Lexie to open her gifts. She was sitting on the couch. Amber was beside her with Riley in her lap. He was playing with his toy phone. He was holding it up to his ear and babbling making everyone around him laugh.
The party was going well. People were loosening up the more alcohol they had swimming in their system. It was also making people a lot looser with their money. The interns were running out of space in their pockets for all the money they were collecting on the bet.
Lexie was busy unwrapping her gifts. She unwrapped a wallet and Riley spotted it and he wanted it. He reached over to Lexie. Lexie took the little boy from Amber's lap and plopped him into hers. 'You see this wallet, Riles? It's pretty isn't it?' she asked him.
Riley turned to look at Lexie's face and smiled from ear to ear. 'Ma!' he said.
The room got really quiet. 'Did he just…' Lexie started.
Riley started patting at Lexie's face. 'Ma! Ma!'
Lexie and Amber both sat on the couch with shocked expressions. Amber was looking slightly nervous too. The room was still quiet as they waited for a response or reaction from anyone.
Lexie picked up the little boy and started planting little kisses all over his face. He squirmed and giggled. 'That's right, big man. I'm your Mommy! Oh my goodness, your first word!'
Maci got up from the floor and walked over to Lexie. 'Lexie…does that mean you're my Mommy too?'
Lexie opened her arm for Maci to jump into her lap also. 'Yes little lady I'm your Mommy too. You two have given me the greatest birthday gift ever. Do you know that? I love you both so much.'
Amber had silent tears streaming down her face. It was not something that they had talked about, but it made her heart swell knowing that Lexie accepted her children as her own. That they were a family and she was not alone. Callie, Arizona, Meredith, Susan, and many others were also crying. It was such a beautiful moment.
'Did you two get married in Vegas?' That stupid intern!
Thank you all again for the wonderful reviews. I really can't say it enough. I'm glad that you all enjoyed how Arizona calmed Callie down. So did they get married or didn't they? Don't you hate cliffhangers?
