A/N: Neither of these stories take place during Season 4, however they both have something to do with Megami, more so the second one. Because of their relation to Megami I didn't want to post them for a while. But regardless, here they are. Hope you like them!

Extra chap 14: Insecurity

Kencho scowled at the newspaper in his hands as he stepped out of his expensive limousine. Not a single mention. Not even an off-the-cuff remark. It was like the Blizzard Group's contribution had meant nothing. They'd taken on an entire fleet of monsters, yet the newspaper hadn't even bothered to give them a shoutout.

Someone who did get a shoutout however, right on the front page, was Megami Saikou, aka Goddess, aka Kencho's older sister.

This is bullshit, Kencho thought, clutching his taser. She got a mention and she wasn't even there!

He scowled at the bodyguards who stood behind him. "Get lost. I'm walking by myself for now."

They obeyed immediately, leaving Kencho by himself. He scrunched up the newspaper, chucking it into a nearby bin. He walked down the streets of City S, a scowl on his face. He wasn't even in the mood to speak to Fubuki, the only one who understood his pain. He kept his hand securely on his taser.

Whatever, he scowled. I'll show them all, useless pieces of-

"Hey! I know you!"

He stopped when he noticed a young girl standing outside a clothes store, waving to him with a curious grin. She wore a light coloured cardigan & frock, and had black flats & high socks with frills. She had shiny black hair in a Showa era hair style which she kept around chin-length and clipped aside with a floral clip.

"Metal Bat's little sister?" Kencho huffed, folding his arms. "Of course you'd recognise me. I'm an upcoming hero."

"... you're Goddess' little brother, right… ?" Zenko made a face. "I can't remember your name…"

Kencho gritted his teeth, dusting himself off. "I'm the Remarkable Kencho Saikou, of course. An S Class hero in training, to-be heir of Saikou Corp, co-leader of the Blizzard Group, and one of the richest heroes in the entire Hero Association! You should be glad you get to bask in my presence, commoner."

Zenko stared at him, unamused. "Are you a B Class hero?"

"You did hear me, correct?" Kencho loomed above her. "I said I'm the to-be heir of Saikou Corp. You might have Metal Bat as a brother, but I have an entire empire!"

Zenko stared at him, still unamused. "So, where's Goddess?"

Kencho's eye twitched. "This conversation isn't about her."

"Aw," Zenko frowned. "Well, do you hang out with her? She's your big sister, after all."

Kencho burst out laughing, an edge of bitterness in his voice. "Spend time with her? Please, I have much more important things to do than hang out with her. She's too busy with kissing her own ass to do anything else."

"Really?" Zenko tilted her head. "I love hanging out with my big bro. It's a lot of fun."

"Well, you're a boring little commoner," Kencho scoffed. "Of course you'd get entertained by such menial nonsense."

For some reason, though, at the very bottom of his heart... he felt a little prick of pain. He ignored it, of course. It meant nothing.

"Well, what are you doing here, Kencho?" Zenko asked.

"Call me Remarkable or Mr. Saikou," Kencho retorted.

"Kencho," Zenko insisted. "What are you doing here?"

"None of your business," Kencho spat. "And what are you doing here, little brat?"

"Waiting for my big bro, of course," Zenko beamed.

"He just left you out here?" Kencho chuckled. "Wow, what a great brother."

"He's dealing with a monster in another part of the city," Zenko argued. "He's coming back right after, and then we're going shopping here!"

"Oh, shopping here?" Kencho chuckled. "I could easily buy all this whole store without a single blink if I wanted to."

"Maybe you could," Zenko agreed, "but you'd still be all alone at the end of the day."

Kencho's body shook. "Heh, you think I care about-"

He was interrupted by a rumble from the Earth. The ground cracked. Civilians looked around in fright.

Kencho narrowed his eyes. He pulled out his taser, gazing left and right.

"IT'S A MONSTER!"

The ground split open. Out came a huge, green snake-like monster. The end of its head split open, revealing multiple long, slimy tongues and whirring teeth. It towered above Kencho and Zenko, hissing wildly. Zenko cried out, stumbling into a clothes rack.

Kencho grinned. Finally. This is my chance.

He aimed his taser at the monster, firing a blast. The blast was enough to make the monster flail back, electricity racing down its scales.

Kencho held up his taser again, preparing to shock the monster. However, it dodged, heading straight for Zenko.

"Brat!" Kencho shouted. "Move!"

Zenko leaped out of the way, landing roughly on her side. The monster narrowly missed her. It hissed, raising its head into the air, tongues flapping in the wind.

"Hey, ugly!" Kencho sent out another blast of electricity. "Over here!"

The monster screeched as the taser pierced its skin. It bucked wildly, its tail slicing through the air. It knocked into Zenko, sending her flying. She landed on the road, near the whole it had emerged from. Bruises coated her body.

"Help…" she mouthed. The ground cracked beneath her.

Kencho scowled. He gazed between Zenko and the monster. The monster was his for the taking; if he went now, he could kill it. All the glory he desired would be his. He'd finally get the recognition he deserved.

But Zenko…

Kencho stared at the shiny watch on his wrist. It was worth thousands, and yet… it didn't make him feel much better.

Maybe you could… but you'd still be all alone at the end of the day.

I hate being a damn hero, Kencho clenched his fists. He raced towards Zenko, pulling her away from the hole. The monster raced towards him, hissing as it loomed above. Kencho held out his taser.

"BASTARD!" he roared. He fired his taser, but the monster was too fast. It dodged, head aiming right for him. Kencho jumped out of the way, holding Zenko. He winced as a sharp, wet pain crawled down his back. His expensive suit was coated in blood.

Dammit… the bastard got me…

His eyes narrowed, the monster's shadow completely drenching him. He laughed.

"You think you… got me…" he trailed off, weakly holding up his taser. "I…"

SLASH

The monster's body split in half, sides collapsing over. Kencho's breath got caught in his throat. Standing there, on its corpse, weapon in hand was Goddess, eyes cold and sharp.

The civilians gasped. "Wow! It's Goddess!"

"She's so amazing!" "Wow, she's so strong!" "She's the best!"

Kencho's body shook, expression darkening. Not again…

He stood up, letting Zenko go. He turned on Goddess.

"Come here to show off?" he sneered at his sister.

Goddess stared at her brother, expression not changing, before looking away.

"Don't ignore me," Kencho huffed. "You're only here because you just want the commoners to kiss your ass."

"Be more careful next time," Goddess told him. "Do not take on threats you can't handle and bring shame to our family name."

"'Bringing shame'?" Kencho tch-ed. "Don't talk about yourself, dumbass. Father will one day see you're nothing but a worthless bitch and make me the heir."

Goddess ignored him, walking off. She headed towards the crowd of grateful civilians calling her name.

Kencho narrowed his eyes. Dammit… why can't she just die… why isn't there a monster strong enough to kill her?!

"Kencho?"

Kencho gazed down at Zenko, who stared up at him.

"I told you to call me Remarkable or Mr. Saikou," he snapped.

"... You know, you're not so bad," Zenko smiled, patting his leg. "You might get some attention one day."

Kencho rolled his eyes. "'Might'? I'm already famous, brat."

Zenko rolled her eyes. "See ya, Kencho."

She walked off. Kencho glowered, watching her form leave. For some reason, he felt that feeling in his heart again. He ignored it once again. He didn't have time for such feelings.

He glanced at his phone, sighing heavily. He decided to give Fubuki a call.

Extra chapter 15: A day of fun

Megami raced to the front of the illuminated theme park, bag swung over her shoulder, dressed in her usual sailor uniform. The gentle sunrise cast an orange glow on the Ferris wheel, the sign at the front, and other such rides. Megami's long, silver hair blew back in the wind. Standing at the entrance of said theme park was a tall, muscular man with spiky black hair and a cape.

"Master!" Megami raced up the man. "I'm here! What training will I be doing today?"

Blast crossed his arms. "A very important form of training. Almost as important as training to use your strength wisely."

"What is it?" Megami asked, straightening her posture.

"It's called having fun," Blast replied, gesturing to the theme park.

"... Master, are you serious?" Megami asked. "You... want to go to the theme park?"

"Duh, kiddo," Blast nodded. "Why else do you think we're here?"

"Master, we don't have time for novelties like this," Megami folded her arms. "I became your disciple for serious training, not arbitrary nonsense."

Blast sighed. "And that's exactly what I meant. You're too serious, Megami. You're still a kid, you know. You're allowed to goof off and have fun, even if your parents disagree."

"Most kids," Megami narrowed her eyes. "I'm not like most kids, Master. I'm heiress to Saikou Corp. I carry not only myself but my family's pride."

"But you're also a hero, and my student," Blast told her. "And as your teacher, I'm telling you to follow me. Come on."

He walked into the theme park, gesturing for her to follow. Megami scowled, before following after him. Her eyes were narrowed.

"Master," she stormed up to him, center of the theme park. "I refuse to-"

"Oh, hey, that roller coaster looks fun," Blast put his arm around Megami, gesturing to the roller coaster in question. "Let's go check it out, eh?"

And that was how Megami and Blast went on a roller coaster together, soaring through the park. Others around them screamed in joy. Megami stayed completely calm, even when Blast raised his brow at her.

The roller coaster got high into the sky, giving master and disciple a good view of the whole theme park.

"Isn't that a nice view?" Blast asked, leaning back in the cart.

"I suppose so," Megami said, "but seriously, Master-"

She was interrupted as the roller coaster went flying down again, excited screaming all around her. Her hair flowed out behind her. Despite that, her expression did not change. Soon, the ride finished, allowing the two to get off.

"Aw, come on, Megami," Blast patted her shoulder. "Have some fun."

Megami opened her mouth to respond, but Blast was already walking off. He stopped at a balloon popping game.

"Over here, kiddo!" he called.

Have fun… Megami thought. I can't allow myself that privilege, can I?

She walked over to her master at the game. He handed the attendant some change, then directed Megami's attention to the wall of colourful balloons. Blast picked up a dart, chucking it at a big green balloon, text underneath it saying '10 POINTS'. It landed with a pop.

"10 points," the attendant said.

"Now you try, kiddo," Blast handed Megami a dart. "Aim for the 50 point one."

Megami gazed at the dart, then at a small, purple balloon with text underneath it reading '50 POINTS'. Hitting such a balloon was no challenge at all. It was almost so easy Megami wondered if it was worth the effort.

Blast's stare pierced her soul. It was more… gentle than usual. Then she understood.

She aimed her dart, chucking it with one fierce movement. It landed on the smallest balloon of them all, the 100 point balloon.

"Wow, 100 points," the attendant marvelled. "Not bad. Hardly anyone ever gets that." He gestured to a large wall showing a selection of prizes, including soft toys, water guns, plastic toys, and more. "You can pick anything you want."

Megami stared at the selection of prizes, her expression… blank. Blast shook his head with a light chuckle.

"Gimme that plushie panda," he told the attendant.

The attendant nodded, grabbing the small, pink plush panda toy and handing it to Blast. He then gave it to Megami.

"There you go," he said. "That'll be a reminder to have some fun every now and again, eh, kiddo?"

Megami gazed at the panda plush as it sat in her hands. Her face creased.

"Let's check out those dodgem cars next," Blast put an arm around her shoulder. "They look fun, right?"

Megami nodded. "Okay, Master."

Megami and Blast were sitting in a dodgem car, Megami driving, naturally. She drove the car in all different directions around the small field, managing to successfully avoid crashing into anyone.

"Damn, where'd you learn to drive, kiddo?" Blast chuckled.

"It's imperative for someone of my status to be able to drive," Megami informed him. "Because of that, I have my driver's license, and-"

"Hold up," Blast raised a brow. "You're 14… actually… you know what. Of course you have your driver's license." He made a face. "But avoiding everyone gets kinda lame after a while, doesn't it? Maybe you should try spicing it up."

Megami furrowed her brow. "'Spicing it up'?" Her eyes lit up. "Of course, I can do that."

She slammed her foot on the accelerator, swerving around the field. She raced forward, crashing into almost every dodgem car. People gasped in horror. Blast's grin widened.

"That's what I'm talking about," he chuckled. "You're just as twisted as me, kiddo."

Megami gazed at him, almost smiling herself.

After the dodgem car adventure, Blast and Megami made their way over to some colourful food stands. Naturally, all carnival-esque food was there, such as candy floss, candy apples, popcorn, and more.

"Whatcha want?" Blast asked Megami.

"Candy floss, I suppose," Megami responded.

"Candy apple for me," Blast said.

Soon, the two were holding their sugary treats. Blast bit into his candy apple.

"Y'know, Tastu is addicted to these things," he chuckled.

"I'm aware," Megami stuck her nose in the pink, sugary candy floss. She took a small nibble.

"Taste good?" Blast asked.

"Rather cheap," Megami responded. "An enjoyable snack for five seconds, perhaps."

Blast laughed. "You don't have to be a rich kid all the time, Meg. You're allowed to enjoy things."

Megami paused, before taking a bigger bite.

Blast eyed the Ferris Wheel, finishing his apple. "Feel like going up high?"

Master and Disciple sat in a small, simple metal carriage. It rose slowly, ever so slowly into the dark sky. Colourful lights decorated the entire Ferris Wheel, allowing it to change colours. As the carriage reached the top, Megami and Blast got an even better view of the colourful and vibrant theme park. Megami clenched her panda plushie with a gentle firmness.

"Really is nice up here," Blast commented.

"It is," Megami agreed, calmly.

Blast eyed his disciple as she gazed out of the window, long, silver hair cascading down her back. For a brief moment, sitting in her place, he saw the love of his life. The woman who'd become a hero alongside him.

Traveller smiled at him, adjusting her large sun hat and sundress.

"Really is nice up here," she laughed. "We should come up here all the time. Don't you agree?"

"Master?"

Blast blinked. Megami was staring at him again, eyes calm.

"Is everything okay?" she asked.

She's just like her… Blast thought with a bitter pang. He clenched a fist.

"Megami, you know…" he brushed himself off. "You've always been like the daughter I never had."

Megami looked down. "Master, I… our relationship is nothing more than Master and Disciple. You know that."

"Of course," Blast leaned back. "Formally, anyway, we're Master and Disciple."

Megami looked away again. The two sat in silence as the carriage lowered to the ground.

"You didn't become my teacher just because of my aunt, did you?" Megami asked suddenly. Her sharp eyes were narrowed.

"... Honestly, that was part of the reason," Blast admitted. "But now I know there's more to you than your relation to her."

"You see me in her," Megami said, quietly.

"I do," Blast agreed. "But you're powerful, kid. One day, you might even be more powerful than her."

Megami's eyes shimmered for a brief moment, before she turned away. The duo got off the Ferris Wheel, walking around the theme park.

"I hope you learned a good lesson today," Blast said.

"I did," Megami said, a tiny smile appearing on her face. "Thank you, Master."

Megami leaned back in her chair. She was in her private office, an office only she could access. On her desk were a few piles of schoolwork. Of course, hidden to everyone but her, was a pinboard of investigations. Her investigations that were allowing her to figure out the prophecy she had been given.

And of course, the whereabouts of her master, Blast. He had told her not to look for her, but… she was still aching out for him.

Megami eyed a pile of schoolwork. Sitting on top of it was the little panda plush.

A reminder to have some fun… she breathed out. If only you were here to have fun too, Blast…

But that did give her an idea. She pulled out her laptop, contacting the Student Council room.

It's time for one last tea party.
