Aurora POV

It's been four days since what happened with Ted. Right now, the family and I are at the mall. Aunt Joyce and Jenna had shopping bags in their hands. Buffy, Kate, Kyra and Jeremy were carrying a small bag each. While I was pushing the stroller which held my 4 weeks and 4 days old infant daughter Brianna.

"Come on, Mom, please?" Buffy said.

"I'm sorry, honey." Aunt Joyce replied.

"Don't you understand how important this is?" Buffy questioned.

Aunt Joyce and Buffy were fighting about an outfit that Buffy wanted but didn't need. Even though she would have to worry about what's to come in the coming days with Spring Break coming and the gang, Giles, and I are invited to Mystic Falls for the medieval masquerade.

"It's an outfit you want but don't actually need," Aunt Joyce voiced.

"But I looked good in it," Buffy whined.

The girls and I rolled our eyes.

"You looked like a streetwalker," Jenna pointed out.

"But a thin streetwalker," Buffy responded as she got a look from both Aunt Joyce and Jenna. "That's probably not gonna be the winning argument, is it?"

"You're too young to be wearing something like that," Aunt Joyce told her.

"Yeah, and I'm gonna be too young to wear until I'm too old to wear it," Buffy voiced.

"That's the idea," Aunt Joyce said as she stopped and looked around. "The stores are closing and I still need to order the flyers for the opening." As she placed both bags into one hand.

"Okay, I'll go to the printers and then get our food," Jenna said as she pulled out a slip of paper. "Buffy can you go to the tailor and pick up your mother's outfit from Everyday woman." She handed Buffy the slip of paper.

"Everyday Woman?" Kate questioned.

"Mm-hm. There's the receipt," Aunt Joyce responded.

"Well, Kate, Aurora, Jeremy and I have to look at dresses and tuxes for the masquerade that's during spring break," Kyra replied.

"Jenna, could you take Brianna with you?" I asked.

"Of course," Jenna answered as I handed the stroller off to her.

"Why didn't you just go to Muu-Muus R Us?" Buffy said as she ignored us.

"Do now, make fun of your mother later," Aunt Joyce replied as she and Jenna walked off with Brianna.

The girls, Jeremy and I walked off towards the tailors and dress/tux store. We got onto the escalator as I looked over at a cowboy with his girlfriend. Only to realize that the cowboy didn't have a reflection in the mirror. I nudge Jeremy and Buffy who nudged Kate and Kyra who looked at what I was looking at.

"He's a vampire," I quietly whispered.

We quickly off the escalator and followed the cowboy and girl around a corner. We continued behind him as we got to the arcade. We watched as the cowboy stood behind the girl.

"Turn around, baby, I have something to show ya," The cowboy said.

"Wait a second. This is my high score," the girl replied as we watched as she continued to play.

"Well, ain't you just got the prettiest little neck I ever did see," The cowboy said.

The cowboy took off his hat and came up behind the girl. We watched as he took some of her hair and swept it away from her neck.

"Boy, you guys really never come up with any new lines, do you?" I interrupted. Just as we saw that he vamped out.

"Do you mind? We're talking here," The girl said as she looked over at us with annoyance in her eyes.

"But you promised you'd never cheat on me again, honey," Buffy voiced as we stared down at the vampire.

"Um, I better go," the girl said as she pulled her bag onto her arm.

"But I'm ain't done yet," the cowboy responded.

We watched as the girl looked up and gasped in fear as she saw the cowboy's face. We continued to watch as she ran from the arcade.

"Alright," the cowboy said as he looked back at us and pulled off his hat. "Girls! Giddy-up!"

He threw a punch at Buffy as she blocked it. I gave him a punch and kicked to the crotch. He grabbed his groin as Buffy shoved him into a pinball machine. He looked up at us and gave us an evil smile.

"Well, you're a rough ones ain't-cha! I like that!" The cowboy hollered.

He came at us again with a swing which I blocked this time. He swung at us again only for us to duck. He grabbed me by the arms and threw me against the pinball machine. The plated glass that was on top broke as I landed on it. He soon grabbed Buffy and threw her towards me. He rushed over to us and grabbed us by our shirts.

"You must be the Slayers I've been hearing so much about. Lyle Gorch," The cowboy-Lyle Gorch introduced. "Pleased to meet-cha!"

"Pleasure is ours!" I exclaimed as Buffy kicked him off of us.

We lept off of the machine and headed towards him.

"Aurora!" I heard Jeremy whisper. "Stake!"

Jeremy orbed the metal stake to me as we faced him. Lyle the cowboy got onto his feet and placed his hat back on before he faced us.

"This isn't over!" Lyle exclaimed as he pointed at us and turned left the arcade.

"Oh, sure. They say that all time," Buffy muttered as Kate, Kyra and Jeremy came over to us.

I looked over at the clock in the arcade and saw that Buffy was too late in getting Aunt Joyce's dry cleaning.

"Buffy, the dry cleaners are closed. We have to head to the food court," Kate voiced.

"Crap," Buffy replied as we headed out of the arcade and to the food court.

When we got to the food court, we searched for Aunt Joyce, Jenna and Brianna who were waiting with our food. We headed over to them.

"Oh, bliss," Buffy said as we sat down. "Mall food."

"Girls, Jeremy?" Aunt Joyce said as we looked up.

"Mom?" Buffy attentively responded.

"Where's my dress?" Aunt Joyce asked Buffy.

"Your dr...? Oh," Buffy winced. "Oh, God."

"Let me guess; you were distracted by a boy," Aunt Joyce replied.

"Technically," Buffy cringed as Kate, Kyra, Jeremy and I looked through our fast food bags.

"Buffy..." Aunt Joyce said as she leaned back.

"Look, I-I can go get it right now," Buffy responded.

I looked up from my cheesy fries to give her a confused look. Kate told her that we were too late to get dry cleaning.

"They're closed. I'll just have to fit it in tomorrow," Aunt Joyce voiced.

"Sorry," Buffy whispered.

"A little responsibility is all I ask from you," Aunt Joyce sternly said. "I mean look at your god siblings they work and their homework as well as take care of a baby." She exhaled before continuing. "Honestly, don't you ever think about anything besides boys and clothes?"

"Saving the world from vampires?" I heard Buffy blurt out.

"I swear, sometimes, I don't know what goes on in your head," Aunt Joyce said as she crossed her arms.

"Let's go home. We can eat our food when we get home," Jenna voiced as she packed up her fast-food bag and grabbed her drink.

Kate, Jeremy, Kyra and I followed her with our fast food and drinks. I put my drink into the drink holder on the stroller before starting to push the stroller. Aunt Joyce and Buffy followed us to the car. We got the cars packed and Brianna was situated before getting in and heading home.

When we got home, we unpacked the car and took the food to the kitchen to reheat before taking our food and drink to our rooms. I walked into my room to see Cole holding Brianna in a clean onesie and diaper.

"Good evening," I whispered as I placed my food onto my desk.

"Evening," Cole responded as he placed Brianna down into her crib and walked over to me.

"Mm," I moaned as I took a bite of my cheesy fries.

I continued to eat as Cole came and sat down on the chair next to me.

"So, what happened?" Cole asked as he pointed out scratches made by the glass at the arcade.

"Some cowboy vampire," I responded as I took a sip of my iced tea.

"Here, let me feed Brianna and then I help you with these scratches," Cole voiced as he shimmered out of the room and back with a warm bottle of formula.

I finished up eating my dinner and drink as Cole fed Brianna her night bottle.

"Here," Cole said as he burped Brianna and placed her down into her crib.

He walked over to me and grabbed the wet cloth. He knelt down and helped me clean my scratches before putting on the medicine on them.

"Thank you," I whispered as I pulled him into a kiss.

"Mm, your welcome," Cole replied as he broke the kiss. "Get some sleep. I'll see you in the morning." He gave me one last peck before shimmering out of the room.

I got changed for bed and got into the bed. But before I turned off the light, I gasped as I got a vision of Kyra meeting one of her soulmates tomorrow. I let out my breath before turning off the lights and went to sleep.

Third Person

It was a new day, Xander and Cordelia were making out in the utility closet.

"Xander?" Cordelia asked before continuing on kissing.

"Shh-sh-sh," Xander responded as he continued the kiss.

"It's just that," Cordelia said as she kissed. "I'm worried we're going to miss class."

"You know what?" Xander said as he reached up for the light string and yanked on it. "This would work a lot better for me if you didn't talk."

"Well, it'd work a lot better for me with the lights off," Cordelia replied as she yanked on the string above and went back to making out only for Xander to not be kissing back.

He yanked the cord and the lights went back on.

"Are you saying that you can't look at me when we do..." Xander said. "Whatever it is we do?"

"No, it's not that I can't, it's just more..." Cordelia replied. "I don't want to."

"That's great! That's just dandy! We're repulsed by each other, we," Xander voiced as he nodded his head towards the door. "We hide from our friends..."

"Well, I should hope so! Please!" Cordelia responded.

"All in all this is not what I'd call a big self-esteem booster," Xander nodded.

"Tell me about it!" Cordelia said as she looked over him. "Just look at you! And those clothes. Where did you get those shoes?!"

"Okay, you know what? I don't need this," Xander responded.

"Ditto! Like a hole in the head!" Cordelia exclaimed as they both reached for the doorknob, only for their hands to meet.

They hesitated for a moment before kissing once more but with more passion as Xander cradled her head in his hands as they sunk to the floor. Xander reached up towards the string and gave it a good yank.

Time Skip

It was the afternoon in the junior health class. The teacher wrote the word 'SEX' on the board before facing the class.

"S-E-X. Sex," The teacher said as he turned his head towards the students. "The sex drive in the human-animal is intense. How many of us have lost countless productive hours plagued by unwanted sexual thoughts and feelings?"

"Yes!" Xander voiced as he raised his hand and nodded. "Mm-hm!"

Kate, Kyra, and Willow gave him a concerned look.

"That was a rhetorical question, Mr. Harris, not a poll." The teacher pointed out.

Several students laughed.

"Oh," Xander muttered as he lowered his hand.

Cordelia looked away from him and stared down at the book in front of her.

"Of course, for teenagers such as yourselves, these feelings are overwhelming. With all sorts of hormones surging..." The teacher told them.

Willow started to look back and forth between Xander and the teacher with a nervous look on her face.

"...through your bodies, compelling you to action, it's often difficult to remember that there are negative consequences to having sex." The teacher continued. "Would anyone care to offer to one such consequence?"

Cordelia raised her hand and waited for the teacher. The teacher nodded to indicate for her to have the floor.

"Well, that depends. Are you talking about sex in the car or out of the car?" Cordelia questioned before continuing on. "Because I have a friend, not me, that was in a Miata at, parked at the top of the hill and she hit the gearshift, and..."

"Yeah, I, I was thinking of something a little more commonplace, Ms. Chase." the teacher interrupted.

Xander raised his hand as Willow just stared at him.

"You wanna talk negative consequences? What about the heartbreak of halitosis?" Xander questioned as Cordelia looked at him and he looked back. "I mean, a girl may seem spiffy, but if she ignores her flossing the bloom is definitely off the rose."

Cordelia raised her hand again. The teacher inhaled and exhaled before nodding.

"Like that compares to kissing a guy who thinks the Hoover technique is a big turn on." Cordelia voiced after she was given permission to speak.

Willow looked back and forth between Cordelia and Xander with a confused look as the other students quietly commented among themselves.

"What about having to feign interest in her rapid little chit-chat just so you can get some touch?" Xander responded.

Cordelia started to get very angry.

"Now, another consequence of sexual activity? Anyone?" The teacher asked.

Cordelia raised her hand again.

"Uh, anyone else?" The teacher asked.

Willow raised her hand to answer. The teacher nodded to her.

"How about pregnancy? That would be a major one, right?" Willow answered.

Even though it happened to her friend Aurora.

"Thank you, Ms. Rosenberg!" The teacher responded. "Among teens, unwanted pregnancy is the number one negative consequence of the sexual activity."

Kate, Kyra, Cole, and Leo looked at each other and thought of Aurora even though Brianna wasn't a mistake.

"So, as discussed last week, I present you with..." The teacher said as he took a sheet off of two trays of eggs. "...your offspring." Willow smiled at that. "You will split into parenting teams. You and your partner will share equally in the daily task of raising..." The teacher gestured towards the trays. "...your egg." He took a tray to distribute the eggs. "Now, please choose a partner and come pick up your children."

Willow waved at Xander, but he ignored her and got up and headed towards Cordelia.

"You wanna have a baby?" Cordelia questioned as she grabbed another boy's shirt that was sitting across from her.

Xander looked disappointed but looked for another partner. He looks over to see another girl walk over to the second tray of eggs that were still sitting on the teacher's desk.

"Hey," Xander chuckled as he approached her. "I know we just met but isn't that Xander Jr. you're holding?"

The girl giggled as she smiled. She turned around and walked away. Xander gave Cordelia another glance before following the other girl.

"Hey, my name is Andy Trudeau. I've waiting to meet you," The other boy said as he came up to Kyra.

"Nice to meet you. So your one of my soulmates," Kyra replied.

"Yes, I am," Andy responded. "I'm half whitelighter and half earth elemental."

"Do you want to be my partner for this project?" Kyra asked.

"I would like that," Andy answered as they walked over to the egg.

Kyra went to grab the egg and felt off.

"What is it?" Kate asked as she, Leo and Cole came over.

"Nothing," Kyra responded as she grabbed the egg.

"We should grab Jeremy's and Buffy's eggs since Cole will be Aurora's partner," Leo said as he picked up Kate and his egg. "Hey Andy, finally you arrive." He and Kate then picked up Jeremy's and Buffy's eggs.

"Yeah, sorry. I had to finish up the rest of my paperwork," Andy voiced.

"Yes, we have to go. Class is over." Cole said as he picked up his and Aurora's egg.

In the Library...

Aurora POV

When we got to school, Buffy, Jeremy, Jenna, Brianna, and I headed for the library as Kate, Kyra, Leo and Cole went to sex-ed class. I had a vision that Kyra would meet one of her soulmates there. Anyway, when we got to the library, we started searching for the vampire we encountered last night. We looked up as the library doors opened, and in came Xander, Willow, Kate, Leo, Kyra, Cole and the boy from my vision.

"How come you three weren't in class?" Willow asked.

"Vampire issues," Buffy answered.

"Did Mr. Whitmore notice we were tardy?" I asked.

"I think the word you're searching for is absent," Xander responded.

"Tardy people show," Kate voiced.

"Right," Jeremy replied.

"And yes, he did notice. So he wanted us to give you this," Kyra said as she handed Buffy her egg.

Kate handed Jeremy his egg as Cole came over to me with our egg.

"As far as punishments go, this is fairly abstract," Buffy said as she rolled the egg around in her hands.

"No, it's your baby," Willow said as she smiled.

"I already have a baby at home. I don't need to take care of the egg," I muttered.

"Okay, I get it even less," Jeremy responded in confusion.

"Well, you know, it's the whole 'sex leads to responsibility' thing, which I personally don't get." Xander voiced.

"I already have a responsibility do to the fact I had sex and got pregnant. I have an adorable baby girl who I who already sleeps through the night." I muttered again.

"You gotta take care of the egg. It's a baby. You gotta keep it safe and teach it Christian values." Xander continued.

I could feel that something was wrong with the egg. It had a demon feel to it as I looked at the egg in Cole's hand.

"My egg is Jewish," Willow replied as she looked up at Xander.

"Then teach it that Dreidel song," Xander voiced as my daughter started to cry.

I walked over to the playpen as she continued crying. I picked her up and felt that her diaper was wet. I walked into the office and changed her diaper into a clean one before Cole came over and took the dirty diaper. He got rid of it as she continued to cry.

"What's wrong, Brianna? Do you feel something evil as well?" I whispered.

I hummed a little lullaby before rubbing her back to get her to fall asleep as I walked back into the library. I placed her back into the playpen as she closed her eyes and fell asleep.

"I can't do this! I can't take care of things! I killed my Giga pet!" Buffy voiced. "Literally, I sat on it, and it broke."

Buffy sat down her egg on top of the catalogue, moaned and quickly walked over to one of the re-shelving carts.

"You'll be fine," Leo responded.

"Yeah, the only thing that stresses me is when do we tell them that they're adopted?" Xander joked.

"I'll just lay that one off on my partner," Buffy and Jeremy responded before looking up and asking, "Who did we get?"

"Well, Aurora is with Cole, Kate is with Leo, and I'm with Andy. Oh, by the way, this is Andy, he's half whitelighter/half earth elemental. He's also one of my soulmates," Kyra said.

"Nice to meet you," Buffy, Jeremy and I said.

"Anyway, there was an uneven number of students... and you and Jeremy didn't show up, so..." Kate replied.

"We're single parents?" Buffy and Jeremy said in disbelief.

"Well, you two could work together," Andy replied.

"No man or woman of their own," Xander nodded.

"Do you know what this says about me? That I am doomed to lead my mother's life!" Buffy said as she paced.

"How deeply scary is that?" Jeremy questioned.

"How about this; it says nothing, it means nothing, this whole egg experiment thing is completely pointless!" Xander voiced.

"Sucess!" Giles said from the cage. "At last. Your playmate is a fellow of reputation, it seems." As he and Jenna came out of the book cage.

Jenna was holding a book in her hand as she tried to set the book down. We watched as Buffy and Jeremy snatch the eggs away.

"That's, um, Lyle Gorch, and that's his brother Tector," Giles said as he pointed to the picture.

"They're from Abilene. They made their reputation by massacring an entire Mexican village in 1886," Jenna continued as Giles took off his glasses.

"Friendly little demons," Kyra voiced.

"That was before they became vampires," Giles told us.

We all exchanged a look as Buffy raised her eyebrows at Giles.

"B-but, um, the good news is that they're... not amongst the great thinkers of our times. I doubt if they're up to much." Giles continued as he put on his glasses.

"They were probably just drawn here by the Hellmouth's energy," Jenna added.

"'Nuff said! I propose Buffy and Aurora slays them. All in favour?" Xander voiced as he raised his hand.

"Aye!" The girls expect Buffy and me, and the boys responded as they raised their hands.

"I-I don't think you should underestimate them. I mean, you may need to have some help if, if, if..." Giles stuttered.

"Why do you all have eggs?" Jenna interrupted as she noticed the eggs.

"Hey, maybe you can have Angel help you find the Gorch Brothers," Kate piped up.

"Yes! Yes, yes, that's not a bad idea. Strength in numbers," Giles said in confusion as he looked at the eggs that Jenna pointed out.

"Oh, right. I see a whole lot of hunting getting done in that scenario," Xander responded with sarcasm.

"Please. Like Angel, Cole and I are just helpless slaves to passion. Grow up!" I voiced.

The warning bell rang for the next class.

"Okay, we need to get our next class," Kate said.

I knelt down and kissed Brianna's forehead before Cole did the same thing as me. We all headed out of the library with the eggs.

Time Skip

After School ended, everyone went home with their eggs. The girls were staying home to get stuff ready for spring break in Mystic Falls as well as watch Brianna while Cole, Angel and I patrol. I changed and met with Cole and Angel in the park. I guess Xander was right. The three of us were slaves to passions because as soon as we met up, I was kissing Angel, while Cole was kissing my neck.

"I really..." I started to say.

"I know," Angel and Cole said as we continued on.

"You know, this isn't hunting in the classical sense. We should..." I said as I broke the kiss and nudged Cole.

"You're right," Angel said before continuing on with the kiss.

Cole soon joined in again.

"Okay," Angel said as he broke the kiss again.

"We really need to patrol," Cole replied.

"Okay," I responded as I kissed both of them before we started walking side by side. "You see anything?"

"No," Angel and Cole replied as they shook their heads.

"Okay," I said as I faced Angel, while Cole was behind me. "Enough Hunting."

We began kissing more passionate than ever with Cole's hands travelling.

Third Person

While the three soulmates were kissing, what they didn't know was that they were being watched by the very men they were supposed to be searching for.

"That the Slayer?" Tector questioned.

"Yep, one of them," Lyle answered.

"Aint that Angelus with her and that other guy?" Tector asked.

"Yep," Lyle repeated.

"Well, how come she ain't slaying? How come they are about to make me blush?" Tector questioned.

"Well, I don't know, Tector," Lyle voiced. "And how come you always asking me so many stupid questions?"

"So, you wanna take them, or, uh, you want me to, Lyle?" Tector asked.

"I say, we leave it. Wait, till she and the other slayer are alone," Lyle voiced.

"Why? You scared?" Tector challenged.

"Nope," Lyle exclaimed. "I could whip them both right now if I wanted to."

"Then why, don't you?" Tector asked.

"'Cause I got me a plan," Lyle said as he looked at his brother. "I'm the one that does the thinking one, remember?"

"Yeah. You do the thinking, Lyle. That's is definitely your department," Tector replied. "So, you don't tell me again why we can't kill them now?"

They continued to stare until the slayer, Angel and the other man walked out of the park.

Back with Aurora, Angel and Cole...

Aurora POV

After the make-out session during the patrol, we started to actually patrol. Cole was watching Lady as she was head of us.

"Okay, it's getting late. We should take you home," Angel said.

Cole whistled to get Lady's attention. Lady ran towards us as she got smaller to her pup size. Cole picked her up. We walked out of the park and towards home.

When we got to my home, Cole shimmered into my room with Lady as I kissed Angel goodbye.

"I'll see you tomorrow night," Angel whispered before kissing me one last time and heading off into the night.

I turned and climbed into my bedroom.

Just as I got into my room, Cole was chatting with Leo, Andy, Jeremy, Kate, Buffy, and Kyra.

"Evening, guys," I said as I took off my jacket and placed it into my closet.

"So?" Kate asked.

"No sign of the vampire brothers," I answered as I walked over to Jeremy as he was holding my sleeping daughter.

"Anyone getting weird vibes from the eggs?" Kyra questioned.

"I did," Jeremy and I responded.

"They felt like demon-like," I voiced.

"We'll talk about this tomorrow. Let's get some sleep," Leo said.

We nodded in agreement before Leo, Andy, and Cole kissed Kate, Kyra, and I goodnight. They orbed and shimmered out of the room.

"Well, I'm going to change and go to bed," Jeremy said as he placed Brianna back into her crib.

Jeremy left the room with Kate, Buffy, and Kyra following behind. I got ready for bed.

"Okay, little egg dude," I said as I sat down in my bed and opened the egg diary. "Let's see. Feeding? Check." I checked marked. "Burping? Check. Diapers, sort of, in theory, I guess." I sat the notepad down and crawled under the covers. "Goodnight, egg." I turned off the light and pulled the covers. Finally, I went to sleep.
