"Being in the public eye was a choice i made a long time ago. Lucas and i going public with our relationship means him and all of you are going to get more attention from the media and people in general. When and if you encounter any news people or cameras. You are not obligated to say anything. Feel free to ignore them." Brooke stated.
Theo raised his hand. Eager to ask a question.
"Yes T. I'm listening." Brooke said.
"What do we call you once you and daddy get married.?" He asked.
"I'll leave that up to you to decide." Brooke replied.
"If nobody has anymore questions. I'll take you all to school. On the way over let's discuss who has what afterschool activity." Lucas said.
"I'm off to the store. I'll see you later." Brooke said. Smiling up at Lucas.
"If the two of you wouldn't mind.I need to talk to the both of you." Jack said.
"Alright. The three of you go on and wait in the car. I'll be right out there." Lucas instructed.
Once Al. Lilly. And Theo. Were out the front door of the home. The couple turned and looked Jack.
"What's going on.?" Lucas asked.
"You know you can talk to us about anything." Brooke reassured him.
"This whole arrangement was supposed to be temporary. Nobody involved was supposed to get attached."
"After everything the two of you have done for me. I can't have this family caught in my black hole of a life. I just wanted to thank you. And i hope the interruption i caused was worth the trouble." Jack stated.
"Honey it wasn't trouble or an interruption at all. You are a sweet. Smart. Young man with so much promise." Brooke said.
"We are grateful for the impact and influence you've had on all of yes it was supposed to be temporary. But Brooke and I want more for you then that. We want to adopt you. Make you officially apart of the family." Lucas announced.
Jack felt his heart drop. "Lilly and T don't like to be late so we should get going." He replied.
