Look who's back, lol. Like I said before, people, I have college and because of that, of course my writing will be slowed down. Begging for updates will do you guys no good. Try writing a story on your own, if you want it so much. Oh, don't worry, I don't count people who spam in the reviews section. I know who they are, as well as those who read the fanfic thoroughly. The days where I updated daily are over, because it took place during my summer vacation. It's no longer a vacation for me right now. My birthday is in 2 days too, lol. Gonna be busy.

6th Secret Report up in my profile, and things are getting really spicy. Nobody has figured out who's writing these secret reports yet. Hahahaha.

(Play - "Musique pour la tristesse de Xion")

(Streets of Kuoh)

The duo of former Organization XIII members were currently heading back home to their shared apartment with Reya and Tomoe. Just as Xion predicted it, Sona and the other members of her peerage have all gone home way before them, although the door to the student council room was unlocked when they checked to see if their fellow devils were still inside. Perhaps Sona didn't want to lock them out in the case that the two forgot something important inside?

So, after locking the room properly, the two proceeded on their way home, which was only a fifteen-minute walk from the academy. Apparently, all of the student council members lived in a couple of apartments that were within walking distance from the school, since Sona was very strict when it came to punctuality. They were sharing a home with Reya and Tomoe, while Sona lived with Tsubaki, Tsubasa, and Ruruko. Lastly, Momo lived alone in another apartment which was provided for her by her parents.

"Honestly, I feel glad that we always go home at this time of the day," Roxas thought as he looked up with a small smile. The sun was setting in the sky, which was his favorite scenery to gaze upon back in Twilight Town. As a member of the student council, they were required to stay at school until sundown. Of course, that was merely a cover-up for their devil duties but it's the thought that counts. Everyday, he would get to see the sunset while going home and he had Xion by his side to witness it.

Wait a minute… Xion!

Breaking from his own train of thoughts, he took a glance at his friend, who was walking ahead of him with her head low. Her gaze darted towards the ground and she looked deep in thought, causing Roxas to frown slightly in concern. Ever since they left the academy, Xion has been acting a bit out of character.

She was ahead of him when they normally walked side-by-side, her head was laying low when she was always looking up at the sunset with a smile along with him, and the fact she has been quiet until now. Most of the time, she'll start a conversation between them because, well, she was still learning about a lot of things and there were many times when she couldn't stop talking about certain topics. However, that didn't mean he was uninterested and Roxas didn't mind having a good talk with one of his closest friends. Whether it's about school, the supernatural world, or any other matter, he enjoyed talking with Xion either way.

"What's going on with her?" his frown deepened for a bit, before deciding to get to the bottom of this. Like Sora, he wasn't fond of seeing his friends sad and if he could, he'd help them with whatever their problem was. He wouldn't beat around the bush, because he preferred to handle situations head-on and solve it along the way.

Carrying his bag over his shoulder, he cleared his throat rather loudly that it was enough to snap Xion out of her little trance. "Sooo… got something to share with me?" Roxas asked bluntly, but making sure that he looked concerned for the girl.

"What?" she asked as she turned her head to face him, clearly confused by what he meant.

Roxas stared at her for a few moments, before he sighed. "Look, I just noticed that you've been unusually quiet ever since we left school. Heck, you haven't said a word until now. This isn't how you normally act, unless I haven't been paying enough attention," he explained with a shrug of his shoulders. "Is there something bothering you? You could always tell me about it, you know."

The dark-haired girl blanched, having been caught red-handed. "I-I'm sorry, I didn't mean to make you worry, Roxas…" she trailed off, turning her gaze to the ground in shame.

"Hey, hey, there's no need to apologize for something like that. What matters is how you feel right now." Roxas spoke, trying his best to assure his friend. "As I was saying, is there something bothering you? I've never seen you like this before, not counting our days as members of the Organization."

Xion stared at Roxas for a few moments, before she released a deep sigh. "It's about Yuuto-san," she admitted, which caused the blonde Nobody to raise an eyebrow slightly. "I know you told me not to worry too much, and that Sora would find a solution to his problem… I believe that, but I can't stop myself from feeling too affected with him leaving his friends behind. Maybe it's because I somehow see myself in his shoes when he did that."

Her answer caused Roxas to freeze momentarily, a brief memory passing through his thoughts. Upon remembering it, he immediately wanted to get rid of it. It was a memory that he would rather forget, but it would forever be etched in his mind.

"W-What do you mean by that?" he lied, already having a concrete idea of what Xion was referring to. He could only hope that it wasn't that event.

"Well…" Xion tried to say, although she had great difficulty in finding the right words to use. Like her friend, she wasn't fond of this memory at all but the scene in front of her earlier did nothing but remind her of it. "...when Yuuto-san rejected any kind of help from his friends, it… reminded me of when I left you and Axel behind so I can make things right by returning to Sora. The time when I betrayed the Organization…"

The boy suddenly stopped in his tracks while keeping his gaze on the ground, memories of when he fought Xion resurfacing in his mind. It was that very battle that ended with Xion's unfortunate end at his own hands, until her apparent return during the Second Keyblade War, of course.

"I see…" he mumbled, clenching his fists subconsciously. At first, he blamed himself for what happened to the girl before shifting it towards Sora, once he learned of his existence. It added to his already-growing frustration with regards to Sora at the time. That was until he met his Somebody for the first time, and realized that he couldn't be blamed for Xion's fate either. Besides, Sora had no idea who he was until Riku explained it to him.

Realizing that the sound of footsteps came to a stop from behind her, Xion turned around only to see Roxas in distress. Knowing the reason why he felt like this, she was quickly tempted to comfort her friend and tell him that those events were already in the past, but stopped herself before she could do so. It's not like she was in any place to speak about such a thing, when she couldn't even stop herself from remembering it. The fact that she had a very similar experience to Yuuto only added to her emotional state.

Taking a deep breath, Xion simply decided to resort to making an apology. "Roxas, I'm sorry. I know how much my…" she paused, unable to say that her existence ended there since she was clearly alive right now. "...disappearance hurt you, and… it hurt me as well, leaving my friends behind. You and Axel were all I had. But, you have to understand why I did it. If I didn't, then Xemnas would've—" the girl was cut off shortly when Roxas suddenly got in front of her and held both of her shoulders firmly, which caused her to widen her eyes in surprise. "Roxas…?"

He stared straight into her eyes, as though he was challenging Xion to say anything. "Don't. I don't want you apologizing over something you didn't do. What happened that day wasn't your fault."

"Roxas, I—" she tried to speak up, but got silenced when his finger pressed against her lips. Xion felt her face heat up slightly, though she had no idea why she was feeling like this.

"Don't make me go through it again, Xion. I'm over it," he shook his head again before letting out a deep sigh. "Every bad thing that happened to us in the past, I only blame Xemnas and the Organization for it. He's the reason for why we had to suffer. But he's gone now, isn't he? What matters is that you and I are now here, and nothing else is going to change that. Not this worldline, and certainly not that Organization member who's still lurking around here."

Xion stared at him with her jaw slightly open for a few moments. "You're right, Roxas. I… I guess I just can't help it, seeing Yuuto-san act like that to everyone else… it made me think of the past," she let out a deep sigh and looked up at the orange-colored sky. Though it hasn't been too long since their victory during the Keyblade War, Xion couldn't help but reminisce about what happened. "Ever since we stopped Xehanort, we're no longer bound by the Organization… by our past. We're our own people now, and that's all thanks to our friends, especially Sora."

Roxas grinned, which almost made him look like Sora for a brief moment, before he continued to press forward with Xion beside him, resuming their journey back to their apartment.

"That's the spirit. And just like before, Sora will figure things out from here. Whatever Kiba's going through, Sora will help him and if it makes you feel better, we'll be there with him. Kairi is also there with us, so there's really no reason for you to keep on feeling down. Not even that Organization member, whoever he is, can break us apart now."

Xion continued to listen to Roxas' attempts to cheer her up, and it made her feel warm inside. This warm feeling was something that she liked, and it led to her shaking her head in amusement before smiling at her friend. "Since when have you started to act like Sora? Only Sora would go out of his way to make his friends smile, it's not something you'd do."

"Hey, can you blame me? I'm his Nobody, of course some of his personality can rub off on me. I know that he said to me that I'm my own person when we met for the second time, but that doesn't mean we don't have any kind of connection." Roxas shrugged, before noticing the smile that formed on the girl's face. Looks like his efforts weren't going to be wasted after all. "Feeling better now?"

"Y-Yes…" Xion muttered, bowing her head to hide her face so that Roxas wouldn't be able to see the red hue on her cheeks. She wasn't new to the feeling of embarrassment, but why did she suddenly feel the need to hide her look from her friend? It's not like she was angry, right?

No, she didn't feel that way. In fact, Roxas made her feel better by talking her out of her sad state just a while ago, and she actually felt grateful towards him for that. Shaking her head to rid herself of such thoughts, she then flashed him a warm smile.

(Stop playing - "Musique pour la tristesse de Xion")

"Thank you, Roxas. It means a lot to me that you're here. You're really sweet, you know that?"

The spiky blonde's eyes widened slightly at her words, before he averted his gaze to the side in an effort to hide the blush that was slowly forming on his face. That… was something he never heard from Xion before, even back during their days in the Organization. It caught him off guard that he felt like Sora for a brief moment, going as far as to rub the back of his head like how his Somebody would do it.

"Y-You think so…?" he asked, feeling unsure of Xion's compliment.

Xion giggled, before smirking at her friend in a teasing manner. "Of course. Hmm, is this another aspect of your personality that you got from Sora? I noticed that he's such a caring boy when it comes to Kairi, he's willing to plead with Rias-buchou to let her stay with them."

"Does she even realize what she's implying?" Roxas thought while his blush became deeper, before he quickly snapped out of it and cleared his throat so he could speak. "It's not, and that's one thing about Sora that I would rather not mimic. I'm not pleading with anyone because, for one, you're already with me since we're both part of Sona's peerage and two, I don't like anyone at the moment the same way Sora does with Kairi."

"Not even me?" Xion asked without hesitation, still retaining her teasing look.

THAT got Roxas' eyes to widen to almost-comical proportions, as he couldn't stop the massive blush that now took over his face, causing him to look like a tomato. Xion's words were simply too much for him and his mind started to have mixed signals, as he asked himself lots of questions that were either unanswered, or left him dumbfounded. There was nothing wrong with his hearing, which meant that he couldn't have been imagining things, right?

It didn't help that he was literally as smart as Sora, which meant that he had some knowledge of romance, even though he didn't really know what it felt like.

"T-That's not really part of the question, Xion…" he muttered, although it was loud enough for the girl to hear.

"Why not?" she asked, tilting her head in confusion.

Roxas quickly flailed his arms before him, before grinning nervously. "J-Just forget about it…! How about we stop by at the usual ice cream parlor before heading home? I feel like I could use one, even if they don't have any sea salt flavor that we do back home… what do you say?" Not wanting to go deeper into that territory, he opted to quickly change the subject and hoped that Xion would simply forget about it. He was not going to have this talk with her, especially when it could make things, erghm… awkward between them.

Xion hummed a bit upon observing Roxas' expression; she could tell that he was trying to cover up for something, but since they were close friends and both would do everything in their power to keep the other safe, she saw no reason not to trust him. Plus, there was no way she could turn down the opportunity to eat ice cream with Roxas.

For the past few weeks that they have been attending Kuoh Academy, whenever they would find time, they'd stop by at an ice cream parlor before heading home, in order to grab a cold bite of their favorite snack. They first came across that particular place when Xion wanted to walk around and roam around town for a bit one day after being done with school, and Roxas simply shrugged and went along with what his friend wanted. Upon finding that ice cream parlor, which was named 'Jake's Frosty Place', they immediately tried to see if it was selling sea salt-flavored ice cream, only to be disappointed that there wasn't any. They didn't let that hold them down, however, and the two friends quickly remembered that they were in a different worldline, meaning that things weren't the same around here than back home. Instead, they opted to settle for the other flavors that were being sold in that ice cream parlor. While sea-salt ice cream remained their favorite, they couldn't say they didn't enjoy trying out the others.

Still, if that place knew about sea-salt flavored ice cream… there was no doubt that they'd go to that place everyday before heading home.

"Sure thing, Roxas." Xion smiled, before nodding in agreement.

Roxas sighed in relief, albeit to himself, before letting a smile appear on his face. After all, it always made him happy to eat ice cream with his friends. "Well, let's get going then. It's not really fun if we get ice cream and the sun is already —" he stopped briefly in his words when he felt something warm wrap around his hand, causing him to turn his head towards the only person who could've done this, which was the girl with him.

"Then we better be quick! Better not waste any time, right?" Xion flashed him a small grin before she basically led the way towards the ice cream parlor, their hands linked and fingers intertwined as they walked together. While the girl thought that nothing was weird about this, the blonde Nobody didn't exactly feel the same way.

For a brief moment, Roxas felt too stumped to do anything, causing him to nearly trip on his feet before snapping out of his little stupor. Regaining his senses, he quickly stood upright and just trailed behind Xion to cover up his little mistake, but making no move to separate their hands. However, Xion noticed his slip-up, and threw him a look of worry.

"Is something bothering you?" she asked.

Roxas shook his head and turned to the side in an effort to hide his reddening cheeks from the girl. "I-It's nothing. Just lead the way. I'm right here beside you."

"What got you looking embarrassed? Did something happen earlier in school, Roxas?" Xion continued with a small laugh, finding it funny how she felt embarrassed earlier, and now it was her friend who felt that way. Thinking back on it, she felt the desire to hide her face simply because Roxas made her feel better with his words of encouragement. Does this mean Roxas was simply feeling happy with something that she said? As far as she knew, a person is showing embarrassment when he feels ashamed of something, but there was nothing happening between them that could be embarrassed about.

Emotions were truly an interesting concept.

Unfortunately, the red hue on his cheeks only deepened, forcing Roxas to turn his head further away from Xion's sight. It wasn't like he felt angry or anything, but he didn't really feel like he should be showing his face to her right now. "It's nothing, really…! Just remembered something embarrassing back home… let's just get some ice cream, okay? Like you said, we shouldn't waste time, right?"

"Hm…" Xion mumbled, a bit interested to find out more about what could have embarrassed her friend but deciding to simply let him be. If Roxas didn't want to tell her, it must be something personal and he could always tell her whenever he was ready. Putting on another smile, she then turned her attention back to the road ahead of them. "If you say so."

As soon as he felt Xion's gaze leave him, Roxas was tempted to pull his hand away from her, but he made no such move and just kept things the way they were. This left him a blushing mess, feeling he couldn't look at his friend properly without getting embarrassed, at least until she lets go of his hand. Truth be told, he wanted to ask Xion why exactly she was holding his hand when there was no reason to, although he felt that it would only make things worse, especially if she starts asking him why.

And, well, his attention was directed somewhere else.

"It's only Xion… and we're already friends… close friends, even. But…" Roxas couldn't help but sneak a glance at the dark-haired female, before looking at their linked hands once more, as he felt a weird sensation building up inside of him. "...what's this feeling inside my chest? Is this normal, or something…?"

"We're home!"

Xion's voice called out through the apartment as the door opened, with the pair of former Organization members making their way into their home in this new world. The sun was already down and the moon had taken over, showing that it was already nightfall. After removing their shoes and leaving them in socks, the two other residents of the apartment walked out of one of the rooms with warm smiles on their faces.

"Welcome home, Ro-kun, Xion-san." Reya greeted with her hands clasped before her, then bowing her head slightly before covering her mouth to hide her giggles. "You sure took your time going home. Kaichou called earlier, and we had to tell her that you two weren't home yet. Did something happen with you two along the way?"

"Yeah, you made us worry, you know? Kaichou was livid when we told her that you two still haven't gotten home! She was already thinking about sending out Tsubasa-chan to search for you two, but we managed to tell her that you could've just taken too long with whatever you were doing." Tomoe explained dramatically, before letting out a deep sigh.

"We apologize for the worry we caused you," Xion bowed her head with a solemn expression. Roxas, who was standing behind her, quickly did the same although it didn't look like his mind was in it. "After we met up with Rias Gremory's peerage, we went back to the student council room and checked to see if all of you were still there, but everyone was already gone. Then before heading home, we decided to stop by at the ice cream parlor."

Reya put on a look of concern. "We understand. But you have to know that you'll be making Kaichou and us worry for you if you take too long heading home. She's… really strict when it comes to her peerage members getting home on time. In fact, she always tells new members of our peerage to always inform her with either a message or a call whenever we get home from school, so she can rest easy knowing her servants are safe."

"But, Sona-kaichou has never told us about that…" Xion replied, looking curious. If all of their fellow peerage members were doing that, then why hasn't Sona told them a thing? She couldn't remember anything Sona told them that was related to 'sending a message'. "Maybe her telling both Roxas and I to get home before nightfall counts?"

"That's strange… Kaichou has said the same thing to all of us, why wouldn't she do the same for you?" Reya cupped her chin and thought deeply for a moment, before a sudden thought came to her mind. For the past few days, it was always either her or Tomoe who would tell Sona that they have gotten home, but not Roxas or Xion. "Wait a minute. Xion-san, you and Ro-kun wouldn't happen to have a cellphone, would you?"

"Is that the same as the Gummiphone that Sora uses?" Xion asked, tilting her head slightly in confusion.

Reya only nodded, remembering how Sona told all of them that she learned about Sora Ishida's secret from the boy's own Gummiphone, which was most likely his universe's version of a mobile phone. While it sounded a bit unorthodox, the term sounded cute and funny to her upon first hearing it from her leader.

"I'm sorry, but Roxas and I don't have one. Though now that I think about it, it would have been better if we had one of our own. We could've called our friends a lot sooner since Sora, Kairi, and Master Aqua all have Gummiphones."

The young bishop smiled pleasantly. "We'll tell Kaichou about that tomorrow, then. I'm sure she would agree with me that you need some form of communication so we can call each other, and so you can text Kaichou just like us. That way, we won't have to worry about you two again." Reya then leaned closer and a teasing smile appeared on her face. "But between the four of us, me and Tomoe-san trust that you can take care of yourselves. It's Kaichou who worries about you two."

Xion giggled for a few moments, finding it heartwarming how someone as cold as Sona truly cared for her and her friend, even though they were basically labelled as her 'servants'. It was the total opposite of what she and Roxas went through during their days in the Organization, and she couldn't be more grateful for that. "I suppose it only shows that Sona-kaichou is truly a good person despite what most students say in school."

It was at that moment that Tomoe got curious about something. Perhaps once they resolve this, she could inform the Sitri heiress about what was the reason why their two newest members got home later than usual. That is, if Sona doesn't send out a search party just to find Roxas and Xion.

"Speaking of which, what were you up to until now? Toujou-chan came up to Kaichou and asked to borrow the two of you, and it was something regarding Ishida-chan. Was that why you took so long? Did something happen?"

Xion opened her mouth to answer, but stopped herself before she could say anything. She didn't feel this was the right place to tell their two fellow peerage members what they just found out earlier this afternoon. Maybe once they move this discussion to a place where they can rest freely? After all, she did feel somewhat tired from today's events, and nothing would be more pleasing than to sit on a chair and lean back.

"M-Maybe we can talk about this somewhere else and not here?" Xion asked with a nervous smile. "This is actually something that concerns us all, even Sona-kaichou. But since she isn't here with us, we'll tell the two of you first."

"Sure thing, Xion-san. Dinner's already on the table, as a matter of fact. We were just waiting for the both of you to arrive since we always eat together." Reya nodded with a smile, as she and Tomoe led the two newcomers towards the table.

"Thank you, and… we apologize again for being late…" Xion spoke nervously, before remembering something important that had something with what her and Roxas did just a while ago. She clapped her hands together and paused in her tracks momentarily. "Oh, right, we bought some ice cream for you two! Think of it as our apology for making you worry."

Both Reya and Tomoe looked at the younger girl in surprise upon hearing her words, before turning to each other, then back towards Xion once more. "Oh, Xion-chan, you didn't have to do such a thing!" Tomoe said, patting Xion playfully on the shoulder while Reya simply flashed a gentle smile. "We know how much you and Roxas-chan love eating ice cream from what Kaichou told us, so there's no need for us to pry into your business!"

Xion only shook her head. "It's okay, Reya-san, Tomoe-san. From the moment we were accepted into Sona-kaichou's peerage, we've begun to see you as one of our friends. Besides, Roxas and I have already eaten just a while ago, and there's nobody around who can eat these two desserts we brought home."

The two girls shared a knowing glance again, before letting out a small laugh of their own. "Well, if you insist, Xion-san… we would be delighted to accept your frozen treats after we eat dinner. Thank you for the kind gesture, by the way. You didn't have to do such a thing." Reya said as she sat down on one of the chairs, followed by Tomoe.

"You don't need to thank us, but you're welcome." Xion sat down as well, and that was when she turned her attention towards her blonde friend. "Come on Roxas, give them their share." However, the moment she laid her eyes on the former Number XIII, she raised an eyebrow when she noticed that Roxas looked out of it. From the way he had his gaze darted towards the floor, he wasn't paying any attention to what was going on around him. Though, Xion had no idea why his cheeks looked slightly red… maybe he was feeling hot or something. "Roxas…?" she called out again, this time causing both Reya and Momo to turn towards the boy as well.

Feeling that something, or someone was calling out to him, Roxas shook his head slightly and raised his head to face the three girls. "H-Huh, what…?" he asked, clearly clueless about what was going on.

"Uh, Roxas… I was saying you should give Reya-san and Tomoe-san their ice cream?" Xion repeated, all while raising an eyebrow curiously at her friend. It wasn't like Roxas to get distracted, because he was always focused and rarely let anything get into his head, unless it involved the people he cared about. Hmm, what could he have been thinking about?

Roxas blinked, before Xion's words properly clicked into his mind. "O-Oh… right. Uh, here you go, you two." With a sheepish grin that was very reminiscent of Sora, he handed over the small plastic bag that held the ice cream bars that were still unopened. Tomoe took it from him, but tilted her head to the side out of confusion. Why did it feel like there was something wrong with the blonde Pawn? Especially with how he didn't look like he was listening to what was going on.

The red-haired knight decided to voice out her concern, because it just wasn't like her cool and handsome Roxas-chan to act like this! There has to be something bothering him. "Roxas-chan, is something wrong? You look… kinda out of it. Something troubling you?" she asked, with Reya sharing the same look of worry as her.

"Uh, no…! I'm fine, I'm clearly fine. I was… just thinking about something important. Don't worry about me." He quickly blurted out, but that did nothing to hide that nervous smile on his face at being caught in the act, as well as the noticeable red hue on his cheeks. Luckily for him though, the three girls were more focused on his strange behavior instead of that little bit.

Xion wasn't convinced with his answer at all, and it only caused her to believe that something was indeed wrong. "Roxas, are you okay? If you forgot, we're supposed to tell Reya-san and Tomoe-san about what Rias-buchou told us earlier." At hearing those words, the two aforementioned girls widened their eyes slightly, realizing that Xion's words from earlier were true about this being a serious matter. If it came from the other King in this town, then it was obviously important, and they may need to contact Sona after this.

"Y-Yeah, I know that, I didn't forget." He spoke, trying his best to cover up for his little mistake. He then cleared his throat, and gestured towards their two fellow peerage members. "Well, why don't we start now? I'm here to help you in case you miss something. What's important is that they know about what Rias Gremory told us, right?"

The dark-haired girl kept staring at him for the next few moments, making Roxas do his best to fight off the blush that was threatening to take over his face so that Xion won't notice it.

"Please don't make her notice, please don't make her notice…" he repeated to himself in his mind, not caring about the fact that Xion was quite perceptive since she was a product of science in the beginning. All he could do was force a smile on his face while doing his best to maintain eye contact and prevent himself from blushing furiously. It's a lot of work in putting up an act, but he wasn't known as the Number XIII of Organization XIII for nothing! All of the members were used to faking emotions, even him!

Fortunately for the blonde Nobody, Xion relented and simply gave him a reassuring smile. "Well, if there's something bothering you, you can always tell me about it, Roxas. I'm always here to help you, remember?"

"Yeah, I know… the same goes for you, Xion." he nodded, still retaining his smile though internally, he was sighing in relief that Xion didn't choose to press the issue further. "That was a close one… maybe I should just stop thinking about it?"

Xion turned her attention to the two girls who were now looking eager for answers. "Remember when Koneko-san came to the student council room and wanted Roxas and I to go with her? We thought Sora wanted to talk to us about something, but it turns out it was more than that and Rias-buchou wanted to inform us about something important. She says that we should inform Sona-kaichou about it immediately."

"Because whatever Gremory-buchou told you, it also concerns us," Reya concluded, before bringing up an issue that may have something to do with this. "We know about exorcists coming over in our town, because Momo-san told us about them. Kaichou informed us that Gremory-buchou was going to handle that situation, does this have something to do with what she told you two?"

Xion could only nod, and from there, she went on to tell the two about everything that Rias said to them; what those exorcists wanted from the devils of the town, Kairi travelling with them on the way here, the mystery of the missing Excalibur fragments, and the eventual outcome with both the church and devils agreeing to work together against the threat that the cadre-class fallen angel, Kokabiel, now posed. Needless to say, both Tomoe and Reya remained silent for the majority of the time that Xion spoke, only speaking when they asked if she wasn't kidding around with what she was saying. Both the Knight and Bishop of the Sitri heiress were too lost to notice that their ice cream bars had begun to melt, mainly because they were slowly coming to terms with everything that the younger girl told them. It was a good thing that they still had their appetite the entire time, probably because they chose to have this talk while having dinner instead of before.

"This is… a lot to take in," Reya muttered in shock.

"Yeah… to think we have to tell Kaichou about this tomorrow too…" Tomoe agreed, quietly sipping on a glass of water to keep herself from getting parched.

"Tomorrow?" Xion asked in confusion. "Why don't we tell Sona-kaichou now? This is something that requires her immediate attention, isn't it?"

"From how big this matter looks to be, Xion-chan?" The red-haired knight muttered, before shaking her head. "Bad idea to tell Kaichou right now, she might not get to sleep peacefully because of everything. Knowing her, she'll probably want to talk to Rias-buchou about it down to the last detail, since you said that she just agreed to help members of the church with those Excaliburs. If it was Kaichou, she'd want to have a few days to herself to think of what decision she should make because she is really tactical and prefers to plan out every move she's going to make, before making a decision. She likely won't be pleased when she finds out that Rias-buchou made a really big decision without her consent."

"Oh dear, I guess that is troubling…" Xion breathed out, realizing the consequences if they did choose to inform their King about this situation right away. "Well, what should we do?"

This time, it was Reya who spoke. "We'll just wait until tomorrow, and tell her when we get to school. That way, in case Kaichou goes somewhat ballistic over what she finds out, she can find Gremory-buchou easily and they can talk about the whole matter. We're glad you chose to tell us about this first, by the way. If you had gone for Kaichou immediately, there's really no telling what she would've done. Tsubaki-san, there's no doubt she'd tell Kaichou about it as soon as she finds out. Ruruko-san, she doesn't like to keep secrets from Kaichou, so she'll likely do the same as Fuku-Kaichou. Tsubasa-san, maybe she will, maybe she won't. In fact, only Momo-san would agree with us about holding off this information until tomorrow."

"So… we'll keep this to ourselves for the night, and then tell our friends about it tomorrow?" Xion clarified, and both girls gave her nods of agreement. "Now that we know how Sona-kaichou could potentially react to this, that really seems to be the best course of action for us. I feel bad for keeping this from Sona-kaichou, but I suppose it's for the best." The girl turned towards her blonde friend for his verdict on this. "What do you think, Roxas?"

However, much like earlier, Roxas didn't seem like his mind was fully into this from the way he shook his head and looked up at Xion. Before any of the girls could catch on to his distracted state though, he was able to bounce back with a quick response. "O-Oh, uh… yeah, I agree. Whatever you think is for the best, I'll roll with it." He said, nodding his head with a little smile to emphasize his point.

"Glad to see you agreeing with us, Roxas-chan!" Tomoe cheered on, sparkles appearing in her eyes as she stared at the blonde Nobody, before turning her attention to the other two. "Well, now that that's over with, we should get on with dinner, right? Enough about all this church talk, let's just put it in the back of our minds until tomorrow!"

While Xion and Reya responded with heartfelt smiles on their faces, Roxas could only muster a small grin. "Yeah…" he mumbled out, being careful so that nobody can notice him. Indeed, he still couldn't fully concentrate on the more serious matter at hand, but it's not like he could stop his mind from getting distracted, either. He could only feel relieved that Xion managed to explain everything to the two, because he didn't feel like he could say much in his current state.

Oh yeah… Xion.

He knew to himself that he shouldn't be feeling this way, because Xion was his friend, and he felt bad for having such feelings towards her. But dang it, the sight of her holding his hand and locking their fingers together… Roxas couldn't stop thinking about it! A lot of questions popped into his mind too, like whether or not Xion knew what she was doing, what she felt when that happened, or if he was being dense to her actions. It was confusing, and Roxas spent the entire time thinking about what it could have meant, which was why he had been feeling distracted ever since coming home to the apartment. Oh no, he couldn't bear the thought of Xion finding out about this because it was too embarrassing, but it would've been nice to know if he was just being worried over nothing, or she knew what she was doing and what it meant!

Roxas wasn't dumb, he had the intelligence of Sora because he was his Nobody! He definitely knew the implications brought by two people holding hands, he had seen it first-hand back in Destiny Islands when Sora disappeared while grasping Kairi's hand. But he was stumped in trying to figure out if Xion was too innocent to know more about intimacy or she was really trying to get his attention!

A blush formed on his cheeks at the thought of Xion leaning close to him, their hands intertwined while staring into each other's eyes. She was leaning close enough that their faces were inches away, then their lips would meet…

He shook his head furiously to rid his mind of that thought, and luckily for him, everyone else was too focused on eating dinner to notice. He covered his face with his hands in shame. "I shouldn't be feeling this way for Xion, but damn it, I might not be able to sleep well tonight…" Roxas sighed to himself, resigning himself to taking small spoonfuls of his own dinner to fill up his stomach. "Not while feeling this way… hopefully I can forget about this tomorrow. That whole issue with the church in everything is more important than what my mind is thinking…"

If this was what Sora had to go through with Kairi, then Roxas could only hope that his Somebody had advice for him if worse comes to worse and he starts to look at Xion in that way.

And there we go. This is mostly a Rokushi chapter because this fic isn't just about Sora and his harem, lol. I want to give attention to Roxas and the girls he'll be paired with, and from the looks of things here, Xion is getting a headstart over all of them. We know Sona has a crush on him that she tries but fails to hide; Momo, Reya, and Tomoe are all trying the obvious moves but Roxas isn't aware; Tsubasa… has nothing yet. Obviously, Xion is too innocent to realize that holding Roxas' hand is sending mixed signals, but will that last in a world like DxD? We already saw Sora's innocence get tainted and Kairi is slowly being corrupted, and Aqua is losing her sanity because of Serafall, lol. Only a matter of time before Xion realizes everything.

Next chapter should be interesting, because now that two other members of the Sitri peerage know about the Excalibur situation, revealing it to Sona should be easier. Oh, and Kiba is still missing, but surely Sora is gonna figure out a way to help his friend.

Goodbye… and good night! BANG! *too sweet gesture*
