"You are...You are not coming?" Dean says. Mary shakes her head. "Why?"

"I can't..."

"Can't or you won't." Dean cuts her off.

"I fought beside these people." Mary says. "I respect them. I respect their cause. You can't expect me to just abandon them."

"Their leader is back." Dean gestures to the Alexandrians who were still crowded around Rick. "You're not needed anymore."

"We made them a promise." Jack says. "To help them win this war."

"Negan is dead."

"There are many others out there." Jack explains. "Negan is dead but the Saviors are still going."

"Alexandria is still in danger." Mary adds.

"I'm not leaving them." Jack continues. "Not until the war is over."

"You can't make her stay." Dean looks at the huntress. "Mom you don't have to stay because of him. I'm here now."

"Dean." Mary places her hand on her chest. "Jack didn't make me do anything. This was my choice. I chose to stay. "

"That's the truth." Jack nodded. "I offered her a chance to go home. I said I would open the rift she said she wanted to stay."

Dean is shocked. He couldn't believe what he is hearing. He and Sam did everything they could to get the rift open. They spent days searching for the ingredients, they put their lives in danger many times to get the ingredients for the spell. Dean nearly became a vessel for a God for crying out loud.

The brothers have gone through all that and this is what they get in return. Their mom turns them down, chooses strangers over her own sons. What kind of mom would do that?

Mary sensed her son's anger. She goes to approach him but he takes a step back. Mary paused with her hand in the air. She then folds her arms and sighs.

"Dean, you and Sam did everything to get here. You don't know how happy I am see you. I would love to go back with you I would love to see Sam I missed you both so much but... these people are being slaughtered. They need me here."

"No, we need you...I need you."

His voice cracked at the end. Mary felt bad she really did she hated seeing him like this. He had to understand she is a hunter it is her job to save people. She had stop the Saviors. She wanted to stop them she wanted to take down every post Negan built.

To Mary this war is also personal to her. Negan wore her husband's face. He has caused many emotions to rise inside her. Hatred, disgust, anger, grief, lust. Those feelings remained even after his death. It hurt Mary. It was slowly tearing her apart. He was on her mind everyday no matter how many times she tells herself he is dead. This connection she had with him it wasn't healthy. She couldn't take it anymore.

Negan said he is everywhere. Everyone is Negan. Once the Saviors are defeated every connection to Negan would be destroyed. Negan would officially be dead.

Mary would finally feel free

"You don't need me. You and Sam, you are men now. You managed without me for all those years. I'm sure you can go on without me."

At first Dean was stunned by what she said. Then Dean's face twists into anger. He clenched his fists and said.

"You are our mom. We do need you. We always needed you. Times when it was so hard we...I wanted you. I wanted my mom. You think we can just move on?" Dean's voice rose to a shout. "How you could say that? After everything we went through you are pushing us away again...AGAIN!"

"This is not your fight. I wanted you to have no part in this."

"This isn't your fight either. We are hunters. It is our job to save people but...There are some fights we have to walk away from. This..." He gestures. "Is not our world, these are not our people, their war is nothing to do with us."

"We might be from different worlds but we are the same." Jack says. "We are all people. We are all God's creations my Grandfather's creations. We should help each other." He sighs. "The day the Saviors attacked Alexandria I told you I wanted to be like you and Sam. I wanted to save lives. That's what I been doing. I'm not doing this to prove I'm not like Lucifer, I'm not using these people to give me a good reputation I'm doing this because it is the right thing to do. This is my purpose." He furrowed his eyebrows. "It seems every time I do the right thing you become angry. I saved Carl that day against Negan you were angry, me and Mary stay to help these people and you are angry. Mary is a hunter she is doing what's she's supposed to do. I don't understand what the problem is?"

Dean gaped at the kid's response. The response was so blunt so cold. Dean knew Jack has matured since being in this world he didn't realize the kid has changed that much. Jack has hardened, the war has forced Jack to grow up, the innocence he once had was gone.

Jack used to fear Dean. He was afraid of the older hunter. Now here he is standing up to Dean and questioning him. Dean didn't know what to say. He couldn't argue because Jack is right. Dean has been harsh on the kid. He has been harsh on Jack since the day he was born. Dean did want to feel proud of Jack but he was feeling really desperate right now. They are all on a time limit, Dean needed to bring his mom and Jack home. If they continue standing here arguing time will run out, the rift will close and they will be trapped here. Dean knew his brother would be thinking the worst and possibly put his life at risk to get the rift open again. The last thing Dean needs right now is Sam putting himself in danger. No. Not going to happen. Mary and Jack are coming home whether they like it or not.

"Even if I agreed." Dean says. "Even if I let you guys stay and fight we don't have enough time. The rift will be closing tonight. Sam and Cas are waiting for us."

"You go back." Mary says. "Jack can take me home."

"He did a great job doing that last time." He said sarcastically "I'm sorry mom I'm not taking my chances. You and Jack can say goodbye to the everyone then we're going."

Jack looks at back and forth at Mary and Dean. He then shakes his head.

"No."

He turns his back on them and walks off.

"Jack!" Dean yelled.

Mary stops her son from going after the nephilim.

"Let him go."

Dean turns to his mom. His face screws up. The tears threatened to fall. Dean held the tears back. He wasn't going to cry. Not here not in front of the community.

His mom let out a sigh. She is about to open her mouth but Dean cuts her off.

"I can't change your mind." He says his voice small and close to breaking. Mary looks down. "Look at me!" Dean demanded.

His mom looks back up. After a few moments she answers.

"I'm sorry Dean."

She reaches out to touch his arm but Dean turns his back to her. He refused her comfort. How dare she offer comfort after what she did. She pushes him away and now they are going to hug it out like nothing happened.

Dean kept his back to her. He couldn't look at her. If he looks at her he will breakdown. His mom got the message Dean can hear her moving away. He assumed she went to join the others. That didn't surprise Dean. It seems his mom prefers being with other people than her own sons.

Ketch stands with the older Winchester. He frowns at the hunter.

"Well I didn't see that coming." Ketch says. "Shouldn't we stop her?"

Dean looks at the Englishman.

"She made her choice "

Dean walks up to the gates. He waves at the person who is on the post.

"Dean." Ketch's eyes widen. "Where are you going?"

The gates open. Dean looks round one last time before stepping through the gates. Ketch runs to the entrance. He calls out the hunter's name.

As soon as Ketch reached the entrance.

The gates close.

So far things haven't been going well for Dwight.

Since his talk with Negan Dwight has tried to pray to Jack. Turns out there is no such thing as personal space in this place.

Simon wouldn't leave him alone for starters. Everywhere Dwight went Simon was there. The Savior insisted he and Dwight should stick together. Dwight was relieved Simon trusted him and didn't suspect him as the mole but there is times where Dwight really wanted to be alone.

There hasn't been anymore meetings. The atmosphere is intense, people don't trust each other and they have made no progress on escaping. At least the no plans on escaping is good news.

Eugene remained in his room not liking the stares he was receiving from people. Dwight couldn't blame him. Then Eugene remaining in his room is also a good thing because the Saviors immediately suspected he is hiding something and it made them more certain that he is the mole.

Dwight really needed them to think Eugene is the mole. If they find out and the news goes to Negan...

Dwight touched his damaged side and grimaced at the reminder. If Negan finds out Negan will kill him. The Savior leader would ensure Dwight received a slow and painful death.

The thought of it made Dwight cringe.

Negan has also remained in his room. The doctor insisted the Savior leader should rest. Negan is a determined son of a bitch. He made it very clear he wasn't sitting around doing nothing. Not while there is a war going on. Dwight has heard Negan moving around in his room. He heard the grunts and the moans. The pain didn't stop the Savior leader. Negan said people should push through the pain. If they let the pain take over their lives they are making themselves weak. Everyone knows being weak is not acceptable in the Savior community.

After splitting the rations up between everyone and stopping a huge fight from happening (Lack of food has made people hungry and extremely pissed off) Dwight goes to his room feeling relieved to finally have some time alone. He opens his door and gets ready to pray but stops when he sees Simon sat in one of the chairs with a bottle of wine in his hand.

"Look what I found." Simon grinned. He waves the bottle. "Found it in the stash. I thought we could have a drink it will help us relax. The last few days have been fucking stressful." He pours the wine into a cup. He picks up the cup and sips it. The Savior let out a moan and leans back. "Damm it's been a while since I had the good stuff." He raises his eyebrow when he sees Dwight hasn't moved from his spot. "You gonna come and sit down?"

"You stole...wine!"

"I didn't steal it. I'm borrowing it. No one is gonna miss it."

"We are low on food and water. We barely have enough to feed everyone and you...you are stealing..."

"Borrowing."

" ...wine! What the Hell?

"Damm man chill it's just one bottle. Besides why should we share this with anyone. One of them could be the mole. A person who betrays their own people does not deserve this luxury." He has another sip and frowns. "By the way you look terrible."

"You would be to dealing with them lot downstairs."

"They are getting worse."

"Understatement of the year. If they see you with that." He gestures to the wine. "They will rip you apart. If we don't sort this problem out soon there is gonna be a riot."

"We could go out guns blazing." Simon suggested. "Only problem is we don't have enough ammo to take down the horde. We already agreed we can't send people out there. It would be sending them to their death. Say..." He narrows his eyebrows. "Has the boss given you any tips on what to do with our uninvited guests?"

"Nope." He shakes his head. "He's been mostly keeping to himself."

Simon sighs.

"Fuck me." He sits up and refills his cup. "He's Negan he should be out here helping us get out of this damm mess."

"Well actually we are all Negan. We all got to take charge."

"I mean he is THE Negan. Leader of the Saviors. He should be leading his people out of here." He shakes his head. "Instead the fucking son of a bitch is in his room waiting to DIE." Fury flashes across the Savior's eyes. "If I knew he was gonna be this useless he might as well should have stayed outside at least then the walkers would have been fed and it would have gave us a chance of getting out of here."

Simon lifts the bottle and takes one swig from it. He then slams the bottle down on the table. He hiccups and giggles as the alcohol started to get to his head. Dwight sighs and approaches the table.

"Alcohol is rare. We don't drink it like we used to. When we do we should take it easy. If we don't..." Dwight takes the bottle and shakes his head when he sees it's empty. "Well..." He looks down at the Savior. "The shit goes to our heads and we find ourselves wasted."

"I'm not drunk." He slurred. Dwight chuckles at his response. Simon looks round. "Do we have anymore? He stands up and heads towards the door. "I'm gonna go and get more."

"No." Dwight goes straight towards the door and blocks Simon's path. "No more stealing."

"I wasn't stealing..."

"Yeah yeah whatever just...Why don't you go and lie down and maybe we can talk later...ok?"

Simon seemed to consider his words. He then nods.

"Fine. If Negan can sit on his ass all day then I'm gonna do the same. Screw him." He slurred.

Dwight turns the knob and opens the door.

"If anything comes up I'll call you."

Simon again nods.

"Alright. See you later."

Dwight smiles.

"See ya."

Simon steps out of the room and Dwight closes the door.

Dwight then sighs with relief.

Finally I'm alone.

The Savior thought he should get Simon drunk more often. It is either that or telling Simon to fuck off. Dwight is sure that wouldn't go down very well.

Dwight sits on the bed and places his hands together.

Jack. He said in his mind. Jack can you hear me?

He has no response.

Dwight goes to try again when suddenly the door knocks. Dwight drops his hands and let's out a groan.

"SIMON, NOW IS NOT A GOOD TIME."

The door opens and Eugene peers in.

"Not Simon. It is I... Negan...Eugene. What name would you prefer me to use?" Dwight raises his eyebrow in surprise. Eugene glances over his shoulder. "I did see Simon singing down the hallway. I am fairly certain he is intoxicated."

"He is." Dwight replied his face still shocked.

This is the first time Eugene has been out of his room. Why is Eugene here? Why did Eugene come to see him?

What does he want? Dwight thought.

"Oh." Eugene shrugged.

The Savior shifts at the door. He looked awkward. Dwight broke the silence and asked.

"Something you need...Eugene?"

"Um... Well I was...I was umm...I was wondering if I could talk to you. I..." He scratches the back of his neck and looks at the floor. "You see you are the only one that's been...nice to me. I mean..." He smiles a little. "You did agree with me in the meeting."

"I did. That doesn't make us friends. You know that right?" Eugene paces up and down the room. He nervously plays with his hands. Dwight leans forward and frowns. "Something on your mind?"

Eugene paused.

"Um..." He sits down on the chair. "I visited the Priest."

"Oh. How is he?"

"I don't think he is gonna make it." Eugene stated bluntly.

"...Oh."

"If he and his people didn't attack he wouldn't be in this predicament. He did this to himself." He turns towards the wall. His blank expression made Dwight feel uncomfortable. "He wanted me to get him out of here."

"He did? What did you say?"

"I said no. Helping a prisoner to escape I would be betraying my people. Many of them think I am the mole. If I help the Priest escape then they will definitely think I am the mole and I will be punished. While I would be punished the real mole would still be out there feeding the other communities with information. We can't let that happen." He looks back at Dwight. "Do you believe I am the mole? "

"Are you?"

Obviously Dwight knew Eugene wasn't the mole but he had a part to play. He had to act dumb.

Eugene smiles. That smile didn't sit right with Dwight. He felt that the other Savior knew something that he didn't. This made him anxious. Dwight did his best to remain calm.

"This is what you wanted to talk to me about?" Dwight asked.

"There is more." Eugene answered. "As you are aware Jack destroyed all forms of communication to the other posts. After a few written plans, messing with the wires and a jar of pickles I managed to get the radio station working again."

Dwight's eyes widen.

"You did?"

That's why he has been in his room.

"You are not happy." Eugene frowned.

"No I'm...I'm just surprised. I thought we couldn't get the radio station back up and running."

"It took time but I got there eventually."

"Have you told anyone about this?"

"No."

"Not even Negan."

"As much as I respect the man I decided to keep it to myself. If the mole found out they would have tried to stop me."

"You are telling me now because?"

Eugene leans forward in his seat.

"I know that you are the mole. You're the traitor creeping and colluding with AHK. It's an acronym I've concocted... Alexandria, Hilltop, Kingdom. I considered going with KAH, but it remains a hair too onomatopoeic. Anyway now that you have been caught red-handed I highly suggest you own up to what you did. If you don't tell them I will. You can't keep this quiet forever the truth will come out whether you like it or not. What's it gonna be?"

Dwight stared at him with a blank expression. He then tilts his head and his face turns curious.

"What makes you think I'm the mole?"

"You did betray your people once. If I remember rightly. You wanted out so you escaped." He points to Dwight's face. "That was your punishment."

"I learnt my lesson." Dwight slowly nods. "I'm loyal to Negan. I follow Negan now."

"I'm not a fool. In the meeting, I did have my doubts about you. While everyone looked at me with hatred and suspicion you...you looked relieved like you were glad I was the suspect."

"That doesn't mean anything."

"I also heard your conversation to Jack." Dwight became tense. Eugene nods. "After our conversation, I was about to return to my room but then I heard you call out to the kid. So I decided to stay and listen."

"You were spying on me?"

Eugene raises his eyebrow.

"You are not denying it."

Dwight wanted to kick himself right now.

I should have looked outside before doing the prayer.

"I didn't hear all of it." Eugene continued. "I left when I saw Simon coming up the stairs. It was enough to prove that you are the mole. Are you telling Negan or am I?"

Dwight stands up from the bed. He then grabs Eugene by his jacket and shoves him up against the wall. Eugene didn't scream or try to fight back. Instead he waits for Dwight to talk.

"The Saviors are finished." Dwight says. "Negan's finished. And this place... what it's been... that's all over. Food and water's running low, workers are angry, the Saviors, they're getting scared. And this place is gonna fall, and all you have to do to be on the winning side is to stand down. All you have to do is nothing. Wait. Let it play out. Can you do that?"

Eugene looks at Dwight's wide desperate eyes. He then sighs.

"I had a feeling I would be put into this situation that you would try to convince me to join you...I'm Negan. I will always be Negan. I will never betray my people... I am very certain this place will live on for another day now that I have taken action and dealt with the problem beforehand."

Dwight narrows his eyes at Eugene's smug expression.

"What the fuck did you do?"

"I made contact with one of the posts earlier today. I told them about our current situation including the mole. I suggested that they bring everything they got and not to tell anyone. We agreed to keep the rescue mission a secret to ensure no one tries to stop it. They should be here about..." He looks at his watch. "...Now."

An explosion goes off. Walkers guts splat on the window. Dwight jumps back from the horrific sight. His eyes widen with horror as he heard another explosion go of followed by gun fire.

"Shit!"

The sound of the door closing causes Dwight to whip round. Eugene is nowhere to be seen.

The bastard did a runner.

Dwight growls. He grabs his crossbow and runs out of the room. He looks left and right.

Where the fuck is he?

Dwight looks down and sees everyone crowding around the entrance. He spots Eugene in the middle of the crowd. The Savior snarls and walks down the stairs heading towards his target. Just then Simon appears and greets Dwight with a big smile.

"Are you seeing this?" Simon grinned.

He turns Dwight towards the entrance. It was a massacre out of there. Body parts are everywhere and blood is smeared across the windows. It was like something straight out of a horror movie.

One walker stumbles over the corpses. It growls and extends its arm out. Then there is bang and the bullet goes through the walker's head. The walker stops then it falls forward and lands on top of the bodies.

Dwight stared at the scene in front of him. The walkers are gone. The Saviors killed every single one of them.

The plan failed. Dwight thought.

He spots Eugene standing with a group of Saviors. Eugene's eyes met his. Eugene smirks and turns away from him. Dwight looks down. Sweat pours down his face and his breathing increased. He started to panic.

We're...We're...

"We're free!" Simon throws his arms up in the air. "WE'RE FREE!"

Everyone claps and cheers.

The celebration is suddenly interrupted by the sound of whistling. Dwight's head snaps up by the familiar tune.

Oh fuck.

Everyone turns and looks up.

The whistling got louder as he approached the stand. His beloved bat swings side to side in his hand. He stops and looks down at his people. He grins and leans over.

"Would you look at that." His voice booms across the room. "I can finally see the fucking ground."

Dwight froze when the Savior leader's eyes land on him.

"See Dwight." His grin widens. "I told you nothing is impossible. There is always a way."

Dwight forced a smile.

"You are right sir." He said with a nod. "You said we will get out...We did." He glances at the window. "We're out."

"You know what happens next?"

"I do."

"Well..." He gestures at everyone with his bat. "Go on. Share with the class."

Dwight swallows as everyone turns their attention towards him. The Savior did his best to stay calm. He clears his throat and says.

"The boy with powers...Jack, he thought he beat us he thought he won. He was wrong. Now that we're free we can fight back."

He stops and takes a deep breath. This next part of the speech he is dreading to say. He didn't want this. He didn't think it would come down to this. He had faith that the Saviors will fall. Everything has gone wrong. The plan failed. Dwight couldn't even warn Jack on what's about to come.

"Dwight." His boss taps his bat. "We're waiting."

"Our first stop is Alexandria." Dwight continued "We are gonna give them everything we got. It will be an attack they will never see coming. The Saviors will rise. We will rise again. The other communities will fall!"

"What about the boy?" One of the Saviors ask.

"The boy" Negan's lips curl upwards into a sinister smile.

Dwight knew what that smile meant. It meant a lot of people are going to get hurt. He didn't want to imagine what creative punishments the Savior leader is thinking of right now. Dwight is certain his boss has something special planned for the nephilim.

"The boy." Negan repeated.

His face then darkens.

"He's mine."

It's done! Oh my God that was a tough one to write. Don't worry guys Dean is going off to have some time on his own he will be back. Poor Ketch being left on his own lol.

It's been such a long time since I wrote the Saviors. Oh how I missed them. I love writing Dwight. My favorite Savior to write is Negan *Heart eyes* Damm Eugene is hard to write. I don't have his brains. I don't understand what the Hell he talks about half the time in the show lol. If he is out of character I apologize.

So both Supernatural and The Walking Dead are ending. I am devastated. Is anyone going to watch the Daryl and Carol spin-off after the show ends? I am definitely going to watch it and I am going to watch The Walking Dead World Beyond. I'm excited for the return of Fear The Walking Dead as well. :D.

Next chapter coming soon. :)
