An: Alright! Back at Ever After High for this one. Little side character stuff and then getting back tot he plot at the end. The scene we've all been waiting for is here! Except maybe you don't know what it is. Don't worry you'll find out ;) Enjoy!

Creator of Magic: Thank you for telling about your new understanding of Raven. She really isn't the bad guy, she's misunderstood. The cards are a big clue to what's going to happen. There have been many clues along this that can help you piece together what's going to solve this battle and where it is to take place. Donna's nightmare about betrayal is her own fear and memory of the possession.

Also thank you for your sympathy. Writing about Matt is hard for me but it also makes me feel like part of him is still in my life through this character. It helps with the pain.

Sky: Yeah you basically got that summed up in a sentence about Raven. Lol. I mean she did go through multiple battles with her mother. She has an excuse to have a little trauma. I understand with the whole mood thing. These chapters are dramatic and can even be hard for me to write if I'm not in the right state of mind. Thanks for your support in my break up. It does suck, but having this nice little Fanfiction Family definitely help.

Zahabiya: Thank you for all your support. Once this series is done I'm going to go back through it all and retype to make sure I get those grammar issues along with adding some scenes and some more detail. Raven hasn't been touched much on the matters after the war, but I feel that this would be something that would really stick with her. Matt and Donna will forever be cute, as long as I write. He will be coming to the hospital soon.

It had been an interesting week at Ever After High. Ryder didn't know what to do half of the time. His sister and parents away at a magical hospital, Ally not winning her election, and now today was the last game of the bookball season. Ryder still wished he had a spot on the team, but he knew Catherine wouldn't really like having him at risk.

He hadn't seen much of her this week. Ever since word about Donna's absence had got to the parents, many had been going home right after school. The triplets had gone home everyday, except for Hyde, who left after practice. Briar wasn't going to take any chances, and now Ryder is starting to think she wasn't so crazy. He sometimes wondered if he was truly safe.

With Derek out practicing most of the time, Ryder found himself connecting with Matt. The two were acquainted but not such on a personal level. With Donna's absence they both seemed to be in the same place. He had always known Matt to be alone, he might as well be alone with him. They had actually became good friends and found they liked same things.

It was Friday morning, and Ryder was just getting out of bed when his phone rang. He picked up immediately, not knowing who it was. "Hello?"

"I didn't expect you to pick up," Donna's voice laughed a little. A smile grew across his face. Ryder hadn't heard from her all week.

"Hey! How's everything?"

"Well, its a-" Donna trailed off for a moment. "A little nerve racking to be honest. I'm still waiting for the results of the dream test. It was two days ago and everyone seems to be acting strange. I don't think they know what to do."

"Huh," Ryder was stumped. They are doctors, why don't they know what to do? "I guess that is a little nerve racking."

"How's everything with you though? Matt told me about Ally, but didn't say much about you."

"Its alright," Ryder looked around to see Derek wasn't in the room. He was completely alone. "A little lonely. Cassidy's home, Ally and Derek have both been disappearing. Catherine and the boys go home every night after school. That pretty much sums it up." The two kept talking for a little while longer.

"Are you coming to visit this weekend?" Donna asked towards the end of the conversation.

"Yeah," Ryder decided. "I think I will."

"Hopefully I'm not down under or something." Donna said with a small laugh, but Ryder could sense the seriousness.

"You'll be fine," Ryder assured her. "I see you tomorrow."

Donna sighed. "I'll see you tomorrow."

Cassidy has had a rough couple of days. Inspired by Donna, she told her mother about what had happened. The attempted suicide had affected Cassidy's life tremendously, but yet it didn't. A feeling couldn't describe it. Cassidy wished she had never done it, but wouldn't know what to do if it didn't happen. She would be so lost in her emotions, but now she had made them clear.

"Mom I was just stressed," Cassidy had fought a couple of days before. "It wasn't anything serious!"

"Of course it was serious! You could've died!" Cerise ran her fingers through her hair. Her hood fell to her shoulders to show her wolf ears. She reached to pull it back up, but dropped her hands. "I wished you would have talked to someone. Talked to me!"

"I talked to Hyde," Cassidy defended herself. "I never really wanted to die, I was just so confused. I-" She felt her eyes filling with tears. Cerise's face softened.

"Cassidy," Cerise put her arms around her daughter. "Everything's going to be okay. You might need to get some help, but everything will turn out just fine."

"Help?" Cassidy pulled away from her mother. "Not the hospital."

"No," Cerise shook her head. "I was thinking more of a guidance counselor. Maybe I'll speak with Apple to get one lined up so you can go back to school."

"That's all I want," Cassidy was so relieved. She hugged her mother, grateful for her understanding.

"I know its hard to admit what you're feeling, " Cerise stroked Cassidy's hair. "When I had come out as part wolf, everyone expected me to be happy, but I wasn't always. I almost let it get to me. If there's anything to learn from all of this, you have to express your feelings when you feel the. Otherwise, you'll regret it. That's what happened with me and your father. You have to understand that self happiness is important."

Cassidy thought about those words as she walked up Ever After High's marble steps. It was a little before lunch. She was going to start her counseling next week. She wouldn't return to school today either. She was here to start practice. Cassidy was needed for tonight's bookball game. She knew she needed it for her self esteem. There's was nothing she loved more than a bookball game. It would help her get back into the swing of things.

Cerise had dropped her off. Cassidy loved how her mother respected her independence. The mother and daughter were very alike. They had a true bond of trust between them. Cassidy looked up to the school and took a deep breath. A smile appeared on her face as she opened the main doors to the office. She would eat lunch with everyone, and then begin to train for tonight.

As she made her way to the castleteria, Cerise listened for anyone's familiar voice. When she was right outside of the doors, she pulled out her phone and texted Hyde. Come meet me at the front doors. She sent it and spied inside the castleteria's door window. She could see the brown haired boy stand up from the lunch table and tell something to the group, then come walking towards her.

She leaned up against the wall so he couldn't see her. When Hyde opened the door, she jumped out at him. He screamed in a high pitch. When Cassidy began to laugh, he started to cough. "I mean," Hyde said in a lower voice. "I didn't see you there."

"Mhmm," Cassidy bit her lip before laughing again.

"I thought you were going to practice?" Hyde folded his arms.

"I still have to eat lunch, but I thought I should talk to you before everyone else." The color drained from Hyde's tan face.

"Are you going to the magic hospital too?" he asked in a low voice.

"No," Cassidy smiled. "I'm going to have a therapy from the guidance counselor." His expression didn't change for a moment, but then he grinned slightly.

"That makes me so happy," Hyde pulled her into his arms. They embraced for a little while. Cassidy then leaned her head back and kissed him. Softly at first, then more intensely. The few days they had been apart felt like weeks or maybe months, Cassidy couldn't decide. After a minute, the couple pulled away from each other and entered the lunchroom together.

Matt sat in his mother's desk scribbling away on the sheet of paper in front of him. It was another picture of Donna. There were already multiple on the page, but Matt kept adding onto it. He felt like he was obsessing, but something about her eyes just made sense to his pencil. Its all he had wanted to ever draw, those eyes. So complex but so simple.

He looked up to the seat where his muse usually sat. The seat was empty. A pinch of pain cast into his heart. He looked at Ally, who was also looking at the empty seat. They both missed her. Matt suddenly had an idea and flipped to another page in his notebook. He began to draw another sketch of Donna, but this time, she was sitting with Ally, talking with her. The sight of the drawing made Matt's own lips curve.

The bell rang and everyone got up and began to collect their backpacks. Matt stood and made his way to Ally's desk. She smiled at him. "Are you going to the game tonight Matt? I was hoping you could be my seat buddy."

"Yeah I think I will," Matt nodded. He didn't want to say anything about visiting Donna, he didn't know if he could come and visit. Sure, he had joked about how he wasn't going to take no for an answer, but there could be something serious going on. "Speaking of seat buddies I drew you this." He handed the sheet of paper upside down. She studied it carefully as she flipped it over. She didn't say anything. "I thought you needed a little pick me up."

The blonde girl was quiet for another moment. "This is fantastic!" Ally finally exclaimed with a smile. "I love it. Thank you!" She gave Matt a quick hug from over her desk.

"Ally," Derek called. "Are you coming?" Ally slung her backpack over her shoulder.

"I'll see you tonight then," Ally waved before joining Derek. Immediately, she showed her boyfriend the drawing as they left the classroom. Matt couldn't help but smile. There was a sudden clatter of tea cups. Matt looked over to see his mother balancing tea cups on her hands and head. As one fell, Matt ran and caught it before it hit the ground.

"Mom you gotta be careful," Matt took some cups from Maddie's hands. She ducked and avoided his touch of the cups on her head. He couldn't help but smile a little. he remembered watching his parents do this when he was younger. They were both pretty goofy people, but his mom always put it over the top. He hadn't seen them do anything crazy together in a long time.

"Being careful is for the cautious," she continuously balanced the cups on her head. "The mouse of curiosity lives the wonderous life." She opened the closet door and began to stack the cups. Matt sighed and carried the rest of the cups to her. He began to stack them in the higher shelves for her. He was almost tow feet taller than her. He was happy to inherit his father's height rather than his mother's.

"Mom," Matt closed the closet door. She was standing over her desk. The second bell rang, but he didn't care to go to class. "Do you miss dad?" Maddie stopped shuffling her papers. There was a small silence.

"Of course I do," Maddie nodded. "Why do you ask?"

"Because you don't really show it," Matt took a step closer. It was true, she hadn't really been showing it. Ever since he had heard about Cassidy's parents, he couldn't help but have some doubt in his mind. She was teaching all the way over here, and her husband was ruling in Wonderland.

"I try not to actually. Its often hard to give into such emotions." Maddie turned to her son. She had a slight grin on her face. "I heard about Cassidy's situation. You're having doubts about our marriage?"

"Uh, yeah actually," Matt scratched the back of his head.

"Don't worry about us," Maddie shook her head. "When you really love someone, you're always together in spirit. Your father and I have our own lives, and they are still connected. Communication is what keep it alive. I often talk to Wade before I go to bed. You don't always have to be together in person to be in love. He would love to be here with us, but the White Castle isn't going to run itself. Plus, I have you to remind me of him. " She stood on her tip toes and ruffled her son's hair a little. He felt so relieved. He didn't want to go through what Cassidy had. He felt is was already messed up enough."Is there something else?"

Matt debating telling her about Donna. He had mentioned her before, but nothing really about them being an item. It had been killing him, he usually told his mother everything. "I really miss Donna," Matt admitted. He looked down at the floor.

"Raven's girl you've mentioned?" Maddie laughed a little. "I knew it. The tea never lies."

"What?" Matt raised an eyebrow.

"Nothing," Maddie brushed it off, but she smiled a little. "You better get to class before your teacher marks you."

Matt was confused, but then looked at the clock. He grabbed his bag before turning to his mother. "Thanks." Maddie stuck out her tongue and crossed her eyes. Matt matched her expression before laughing at himself. He then left the room feeling better about himself and his parents. He had forgotten how much he loved them.

Ally was sitting with Brandon and Catherine at the game. "I'm glad you guys convinced your mom to stay. I don't know what's become of Matt."

"Or Ryder," Catherine checked her phone. "He said he'd be here."

"Maybe they couldn't find us," Brandon suggested, "Its is dark out here and there is a lot of students. They'll probably find us after." Catherine nodded her head, but Ally wasn't so sure what to believe. Matt knew this was their spot. They always sat here.

The game was a close one. With Cassidy being out for the week, the team was struggling to get back into rhythm with her. Of course, Derek adjusted accordingly to her presence. This made Ally proud. She looked to see her mother was walking along the stands and doing the student check rounds. She felt guilty. Ally hadn't talked to her mother much since the day in the office. They needed to clean things up, but Ally didn't know how to approach it.

Cassidy had scored the final touchdown for the win against the Candyland High. Everyone cheered and rose to their feet. They stormed together on to the field. Ally was walking because she didn't want to risk her ankle. She tried to find Derek through the sea of people. She didn't need to search any farther when Derek was being congratulated by Molly Locks.

She was taping her show. "So Derek," Molly said with a big grin, "Are you going to the after party tonight?"

"Of course!" Derek smiled, "I have to celebrate the teams victory." Everyone cheered.

"You'll have to come as my special guest," Molly winked. Derek's smile faded. A couple people were getting interested now.

"Oh!" the crowd awed as somebody whistled. Ally felt her cheeks blush. Anger was beginning to burn inside her. She felt Catherine's hand on her shoulder, but she shrugged it off.

"What do you say big guy?" Molly looked at him expectantly with a hand on her hip. Big guy? That was the last straw for her.

"Derek!" Ally cried as she ran to him. He turned to her right before she jumped on him. He picked her up to hug her but instead was greeted with a kiss. He held Ally tightly to him for a small moment before the students all went wild. When they began to hoot and holler Ally realized what she had just done and pulled away from Derek. He dropped her back down to the ground.

Ally felt all color from her face drain as she looked into the camera that just filmed her first kiss. Derek's arm was still around her, but they weren't very close together anymore. "Well I guess things are already getting wild down here at Ever After High! Check my coverage of the after party later. until then I'm Molly Locks!" The girl with the camera turned off the feed and took Molly's microphone.

She turned to Ally. "I guess you can never have enough of the spotlight can you?" Molly huffed as she walked away. Ally didn't care what Molly had said, she was still in shock. What just happened? Did she really just kiss Derek for the very first time in front of all of these people? She felt her face flush as she heard Catherine's voice.

"That was crazy!" Catherine laughed a little. "I can't believe you did that."

"It takes a lot of guts to do it on camera too," Hyde said as he and Cassidy got into the small circle.

"Uh huh," Ally managed to say. Her glasses fell from the top of her head. She didn't remember pushing them up there, but everything was fuzzy with or with out the glasses.

"I think we need to get some air," Derek said as his grip tightened on Ally.

"No," Ally shook her head. "I want to go. You need to shower anyway." She had snapped back into reality quicker than she thought. Derek hesitated, but nodded and went back to the school with Cassidy and Hyde. Ally watched him as he left. She couldn't help but touch her lips and smile a little bit. The only thing left on her mind was where Matt and Ryder had gone.

It was almost time for the game. Matt was putting his scarf around his neck. He gazed out the window to see it was already getting dark. He was about to leave when his phone rang. There was only one person it could be, and it brought a smile to his face. Matt took his phone from his pocket and answered it. "I didn't expect to get your call. I was just on my wa-"

He stopped when he heard her shaky breath. "Matt." Her voice was like a whisper.

"Donna?" Matt's smiley expression faded into concern.

"My results came in," Donna was choking up.

"And?" Matt's heart sank with every deep breath she was taking.

"There were no results," her voice was now deeper. "I'm one of a kind." Matt didn't know what to say. What does that mean? Why was she getting so upset? "They say that my mind has been tampered with. They-" She cut herself off and cried. Matt could feel his own eyes watering. With his heart beat in his ears, he couldn't believe what she said next.

"They're going to erase my mind."

Matt practically dropped the phone. There was about a minute of silence mixed with Donna's tears. "H-how could they do that? Isn't it impossible?" He started thinking about what he had read as a kid.

"There's a sacred spell," Donna explained. "They only use it in extreme cases. often times you can get your memories back if you make a book, but they've only given me two days to do it. How can I write my whole story in two days? The story of us?" Matt thought about how she would do it. How could she remember him but not her possession.

"I don't know. They'll give it to you on Monday?"

"I think so anyway," Donna's voice was coming back.

"There's gotta be another way."

"They're not finding one. This is the solution."

"But its not a solution. They're basically killing you."

"I-I know," Donna's breathing quickened. "I don't want to forget you."

"You won't," Matt said firmly. "I promise you won't lose your memories. Me and Ryder are coming up tomorrow. We'll find a way to solve this."

"I hope so I just-" Donna cut herself off. Her breathing completely stopped. Matt's eyes widened.

"Donna? Donna?!"

"Shh," Donna said on the other line. "I need you to come up tonight. I'll explain later. I gotta go." She hung up before he could even say anything. He held his phone away from his ear, but his eyes were defocused. Millions of thoughts were going through his mind, but three words brought him back to the moment.

I need you.

He went to go find Ryder.
