"Did you hurt yourself?"

Shego jumped, her hands going from peeling the bandage off her back to fighting stance. Until she realized it was just Drakken. "Don't sneak up on me," she said, putting her hands out.

He raised his own hands in surrender. "I didn't mean to. I just saw you … What are you doing exactly?"

"Well it was supposed to be a surprise …"

"What was?"

She sighed and turned so that her back was to him, her hair over her shoulders. "Peel off the bandage?"

"Is it going to be super gory? Because I don't want –"

"Relax. Trust me." She felt his hands on her back then, gently peeling the strip down her spine. About halfway down, she heard him gasp, and she smiled to herself. "Finish it, D."

He did, discarding the now-useless bandage and tracing Shego's tattoo with his fingers. A black and white marigold. "It's just like mine."

She tossed her hair to one side so she could look at him over her shoulder. "Do you like it?"

Tears in his eyes. Wow, her husband was soft. It had taken her years to admit that she actually found that attractive. "I love it," he said. She couldn't see the tattoo from this angle, but she knew he was tracing the petals now. At last, his hand moved from her spine to her shoulder and he pulled her into a soft kiss. "Did it hurt?"

"No. I still have to get it colored though."

"I really love it Shego." He kissed her again, deeper this time, and she smiled into his lips.
