A Shego-POV version of the last short in the Team Go songfic When We Grow Up. Hope y'all enjoy.

Probably the last mini-fic we will post for a while. Thank you everyone who read my crazy brain children!

Mego groaned as Shego set down "helio" off of his "path" and got the triple word score. Again.

"Can't help it if I'm smarter than you," Shego smirked.

"Gotta stop setting her up for those triple word scores," one of the Wego twins grumbled to Mego. The other twin was in the kitchen with his partner Charlie and Drakken. Hego and Hego's girls were in the living room, leaving the first Wego twin, Shego, Mego, and Hego's wife Melinda at the dining room table to face off in a battle of brains.

"What's the score?" Mego asked.

Wego checked the paper. "You don't want to know."

Melinda set "lyme" off of the "M" in Wego's earlier "moose" and sat back. "I'm not doing so bad," she teased, making Shego smile. She rather liked Melinda. She was good for Hego, at least.

"Dinner's ready!" the other twin called, and Mego mumbled, "Thank God."

"Pause game?" Melinda offered.

Wego shook his head with a sigh. "Shego wins. Shego always wins."

"It's true," Shego admitted, rising from her seat. This was the first Christmas she'd spent with her family in just under two decades, and she was surprised to find she was having an OK time. Playing her favorite game didn't hurt.

The four of them joined the others at the table, where Shego slid in between Elise, Hego's older daughter, and Drakken, giving the latter a quick kiss on the cheek. It was him that encouraged her to RSVP "yes" to Hego's invitation. He seemed to understand her gratitude, taking her hand and clasping it between both of his.

ThankYouNote:

ALWAYS block the triple word score! Scrabble is about playing offense as well as defense. N is amazing at scrabble and so is my mom. They used to play every thanksgiving together. I am horrible at scrabble so I just watched and ate snacks from the sidelines. It was always an amazing time though! Unfortunately there will be no thanksgiving party this year, but they will be reunited soon and N can then get her victory over my mom from winning last years scrabble game!

Do you have any board game traditions with your family? let us know!
