Time to take a breather and see how the rest of the town is doing. After all, I didn't give Komaru such a multifaceted Stand just to make her a one-scene wonder. Disclaimer: I don't own Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, Danganronpa, or the Evillious Chronicles.

Jojolion Chapter 46: Komaru's Bizarre Adventure

Honami was nearing the tower where the final path to book was located. As she did, the last of the chains returned to her. "So even Nemesis was released. Now the last of the powers is mine. Enough to climb the tower with little issue. But there's one thing I'm concerned about. I have not been idle for these last three years. I have been building a number of automatons, controlled by the powers I have gathered. They were meant to distract the other teams and give my former servants time to unlock the metro stations. What could be happening to them, that this did not come to pass?"

Komaru was having a weird day to say the least. Here she was enjoying Twilight City with her boyfriend Yuta Asahina, when suddenly robotic bears tried attacking the populace. Luckily the city was designed with the study of Stand power in mind, and Komaru definitely had a Stand. "Love is War!" Her electronic megaphone was perfect for dealing with automatons, the various affects it could produce easily trashing the black and white monochrome bears. "Or I guess we could call them... Monokumas," she noted aloud, "But anyway, they're pretty creepy."

The Monokumas had razor-sharp claws to attack, but were simplistic in their attack patterns. Komaru noted that she could easily break them by aiming right for their glowing red eyes. They seemed to attack in groups, but Komaru's Love is War was strong. A large group started to encroach on her and several others, but Komaru just smirked as she aimed for an electronic car. "Love is War!" She fired a command shot, causing the car to start on its own and move forward. Without anyone breaking or steering, the car moved at full speed, running down quite a number of the robots.

Just then, a beeping explosive was tossed into the group, causing them to scatter. Komaru saw several of the Monokumas wearing bomb squad gear and carrying packs filled with explosive. Their faces were still exposed, however, and Komaru noted that the bombs were electronic, meaning she could still cause them to detonate prematurely to deal with this new type. "Though I gotta give whoever made these points for creativity. How many other types did they come up with? And who's even controlling them, or are they just regular automatons?"

The sound of a siren went off, but it was no police car. Instead it was a Monokuma with yellow stripes on its black side, a siren on its head, and some sort of electronic backpack. It seemed to calling to other Monokumas. "That could be useful," Komaru noted, "Time to dance! Love is War!" She fired a beam to get the Monokuma on a program loop that caused it to dance and draw other Monokumas close to it, where they were easy pickings. "It's a good thing there are so many of us here." She noted something skulking around nearby.

Komaru freaked out at the sight of a bizarre Monokuma that looked like its limbs and right eye were made from junked doll parts. It quickly ran right at Komaru in a bizarre, and disturbingly insect-like, manner. Komaru fired a break blast at it, but it clearly had harder circuits, since it took two good shots to destroy. "Good grief... I'm starting to regret my earlier thought. Though I doubt they can get more disturbing than that." She sighed. "I really hope I didn't just jinx myself."

The next group she ran into was wearing riot gear and carried duralumin shields that could reflect most of her Stand's shots, but not the short-range electric burst, since it was normally used in case of less mechanical opponents. This had the effect of knocking away their shields, leaving them wide open for other types of shots. The shot also seemed effective against the spherical Monokumas with the pop-out legs, causing them to bowl over other Monokumas before blowing up. "And my folks said I needed Makoto around for protection."

The next type to rear its ugly head was a more bear-like Monokuma, walking on all fours and acting more like an animal than a cartoon character. "Were they running out of ideas?," Komaru wondered aloud. They beasts were far hardier than even the walking junk piles, but a few good shots ultimately did the trick. The last type to show up wore metal helmets and jet packs and carried heavy weaponry. Luckily, they were especially vulnerable to Komaru's overheat shot, especially when it was aimed at their jet pack.

One final Monokuma started to sneak up on Komaru, only to get sliced up as Toko showed up from the metro tunnel. "Hey, I've heard of you," she said, "You're Makoto's sister Komaru, right?" "Uh, yeah," Komaru replied, "Are you one of Makoto's classmates?" "Yep," Toko said, "Name's Toko Fukawa. And don't mind the odd look. This is just me while my Stand is active." "Oh, you're a Stand user too?," Komaru said, "I've been using mine to shutdown these weird Monokumas." Toko tapped her temple with the flat of her scissors. "That name sounds like deja vu for some reason. Oh well, doesn't matter. Looks like there's few more left. My group's already finished down below, so why don't I help you clean house?"

By the end of it, the two were laughing and talking together. Toko's The Devil Within had worn off by now, and she and Komaru were sitting atop a pile of broken Monokumas. "So yeah, once we graduate I'm gonna be Byakuya's first woman. That's big deal in the Togami family, since the first man or woman, depending on the current family head, is the only one that stays with the family head as a domestic partner." "It's kinda weird that the Togami family head takes on so many partners," Komaru noted. "Well they dislike the idea of inbreeding," Toko explained, "So they go in the opposite direction for the sake of genetic diversity. After all, diversity breeds strength."

At that moment, Yuta came up to them, breathing hard. "Uh... I guess you're all right," he said sheepishly. Komaru giggled. "I told you before, Yuta. I can handle myself." "This guy reminds of Hina," Toko noted. "That's because he's her younger brother," Komaru explained, "He's also a sports nut, though he prefers track and field to swimming. Though his swimming is nothing to scoff at." Yuta climbed up next to Komaru. "So where did these things come from, anyway?" Komaru shrugged, but Toko had a good idea.

"Well, it doesn't matter in the end," Honami assured herself, "My Monokumas were only meant to distract. They're not exactly good for longevity. Anyway, this must be the door to the tower where the book is." She inserted the four keycards, and the door opened wide. "Almost there. Once I have The Book of the Law, I'll use its words to change the whole world... And shape it to my will. Wait for me, Mahiru. I'll shape this world to suit the both of us." She walked inside, unaware that Josefumi and his team had already caught up to her.

Yeah, I wanted to get in a shout out to Ultra Despair Girls. Hope you like it. The final battle with Honami is next. Read and review.
