The bus swerved as the line of figures charged into the road, several grabbing onto the front as it slammed into them, bringing it to a screeching halt. The students inside groaned as they were tossed around violently, looking around in confusion as the figures began to surround the bus.

"At least fifty of them," Izuku gasped as he let go of the back of his seat, looking at Aizawa in fear, "All mutation quirks."

"Shit," the teacher spat as he jumped to his feet, pulling out his phone and holding it to his ear, "It's Eraser, we're under attack! Class A bus, send reinforcements now!"

"How long?" Izuku asked as his classmates looked towards the two of them.

"ETA ten minutes," Eraserhead barked, "Alright, stick together, we're going to need to-!"

He was cut off was the arm smashed through the window, grabbing Kaminari by the shirt. The boy shrieked, letting out a blast of electricity as he was yanked through the broken glass. A cry of pain and a meaty thump echoed outside the bus before more windows started to shatter as the Villains started trying to grab the other students.

"Shit!" Eraser snarled as the students pressed themselves into the aisle of the bus, fighting off the grabbing hands of the Villains, "Keep them at bay as long as you can! I'm going to go get Kaminari!"

"You got it, Eraserhead!" Izuku shouted as the man jumped out one of the shattered windows, kicking a Villain with a lion mutation in the face, knocking him to the floor.

Shota looked around frantically, spotting his student being held at the back of the crowd by a man that seemed to be made entirely out of rock, his shocks bouncing harmlessly off the Villain's arms.

"Let him go!" Eraserhead shouted as he charged the man, throwing his capture weapon out to blind the man.

"Sensei!" Kaminari shouted in relief, before a look of fear plastered itself across his face, "LOOK OUT!"

The sword slammed into Shota's back, throwing him to the floor as he looked at the grinning lizard man who was wielding it. Well, sword was probably a strong word for the object, looking more like a bundle of knives haphazardly tied together with belts and rope in the shape of a sword. He could feel the numerous small cuts it had made across his back stinging, but he couldn't- he wouldn't let that stop him.

A kick to the knee sent the man tumbling to the floor, Eraserhead getting back to his feet and about to charge the rock villain when the sound of ripping metal filled his ears. He looked back, eyes wide as he watched the villains literally ripping the bus in half, several of the students spilling out and quickly being grabbed. When they fought back, they were quickly passed to someone else, who seemed to have a near perfect quirk to keep them captured.

"I GOT 'IM!" someone yelled, Shota watching as Izuku dodged around the man, placing an explosion on his back as he darted between another pair, sending them floating up into the sky. The Villains not already holding students suddenly seemed to begin ignoring them, the entire crowd focusing on Izuku as he desperately tried to avoid them.

The teen dodged behind a man covered in hair as three other Villains leapt at him, all of them crashing into the other man and sending them tumbling to the floor. He barely had time to catch his breath as another wave of Villains descended on him, the teen shutting his eyes as he held up a hand, a bright flash of light blinding them for a moment, before another wave barrelled past them towards the boy.

Acid flew through the air, striking one of the men on the side of his head as he screamed in pain, clutching his face, others shouting out as the acid splashed against them, smoke rising as it began to melt their skin. Izuku looked up, locking eyes with Mina as she stood in the ripped in half bus, her hands held like a spout as she let a steady stream of acid spray from between her fingers.

"GET THE ACID BITCH!" Someone shouted, the girl shrieking as a Villain made of blue goo suddenly surged up around her, trapping her in his body as she began to struggle.

"Huhuhu! You can't hurt me, girly!" the blob of a man chortled as Mina clothes began to fizz inside him, "But stay in me long enough and I may just digest you!"

Rage filled Izuku's mind, ignoring the men that were charging at him as he thrust out his stomach, the beam of light shooting from his navel and slamming into the blob of sentient jelly, blasting a hole straight through him. Mina gasped as she was able to grab a breath, the Villain shrieking as his body suddenly froze, then shattered, both Shoto and Eijiro locking eyes with Izuku as they worked to break the girl free of the frozen Villain.

Izuku gasped as the capture tool snapped around his wrist, yanking him to the side just as a massive fist slammed into the ground where he'd been standing. He looked up at Shinso as the teen stared back in terror, before Izuku turned his attention back on the gang of Villains trying to capture him.

"HEY FUCKERS!" He yelled, "Catch me if you can!"

"FUCK OFF!" "YOU'RE GOING DOWN, KID!" "I WANT TO GET PAID!"

The shouts echoed around him, Izuku grabbing at them with Hitoshi's quirk, flinching as almost half of the Villains responded, their faces going blank a moment later.

"GO DOWN YAH LITTLE SHIT!" Izuku heard behind him as something slammed into the back of his head, sending a wave of pain through him as he collapsed to the ground. He felt something run down the back of his neck, gingerly touching the wound and looking at his hand, already covered in blood as he felt someone grab him by the shoulder, "WE GOT WHAT WE CAME FOR! LET THE REST GO ONCE OUR LIFT ARRIVES!"

Izuku was hefted like a sack of potatoes, gasping as he was thrown backwards into a metal container, his head banging against the hard surface. The lid slammed shut a moment later, barely giving him time to lock eyes with Eraserhead as the teacher leapt towards him. Izuku growled as he tried to slam against the container, his head ringing from the wound and being thrown. He could still hear the sounds of fighting going on outside of his prison as he fought to escape, reaching for a quirk, any quirk that he could use.

Izuku blinked. He couldn't feel them. He couldn't feel a single quirk around him except his own, burning in his chest as he tried to find something to copy. He panicked, remembering the sensation of falling through the portal Villain's quirk, how he'd lost all connection for a few seconds, only the man's cloying quirk and his own to keep him company. Panic descended on his mind, Izuku beginning to hyper-ventilate, the impenetrable darkness of the box closing in around him. Suddenly, the box shifted, starting to fall as Izuku felt a sense of dread encompass him. And he passed out.

Shota could only watch as the man threw Midoriya into the large metal box, looking more like a coffin than anything else. He charged forwards, ducking under the punch, and slamming a fist into the man's jaw, hissing as he pulled his hand away, the man just grinning back at him.

"Metal bones!" he laughed, "You ain't going to take me out that easily!"

Shota dodged the next punch, swinging his leg up and catching the villain in the jaw again, flinching as he felt his foot slam into the hard metal under the skin. The man's head twisted slightly as he still laughed, trying to take a step forwards, before his legs gave out under him.

"Metal bones doesn't mean a metal brain," Shota growled as he continued his charge towards the box, several more Villains dashing in front of him as he quickly put them down.

He jumped, hand outstretched for the latch on the front of the box, fingers closing around it as he tried to pull. Or they would have, if the box hadn't suddenly started to fall, dropping straight down into the ground. He looked down, staring into the purple and black cloud as the box disappeared, the portal snapping shut a moment later.

"THE JOB'S DONE!" another Villain shouted, "LET'S GET THE FUCK OUT OF HERE!"

"Where's the portal?" "I don't fucking know!" "Shit, did they abandon us?!"

Shota swore as he continued to fight the Villains, knocking them out as quickly as he could. The rest of the class had managed to organise, defending half of the bus as they managed to free a few of their classmates.

"That fucker lied!" the stone Villain shouted, suddenly hurling Kaminari to the floor before bolting towards the edge of the road, "I ain't sticking around to be captured!"

The rest of the Villains looked at each other, then the kids, who were still putting up a fight, and then Shota, who was glaring at them as though he wanted to murder the lot. The sound of helicopters and sirens made their final decision for them as they began charging into the surrounding woods, scattering among the trees.

"Status report!" Shota yelled as he looked over to the bus, the students all staring at him in shock.

"Nineteen students accounted for; minor injuries sustained!" Iida yelled out over the sounds of the helicopters descending above them, making Shota flinch at the first word.

"Shit," he growled, turning to glare at the ground where the box had vanished, "Why?"

Himiko sat up in her bed, gasping slightly at the dream. She clutched her covers, looking around the dark room for a moment to remind herself where she was, glancing at the clock and realizing that she'd slept late. Today was the day Izuku and his classmates would be coming back from their summer camp. Then over the next few days, the other occupants of the dorm would all head home, leaving the dorms empty except for Izuku, Inko and herself. Himiko wanted to smile at the thought, wanted to be excited about getting to spend more time with Izuku, but something was cloying at her mind.

She walked out of her room, heading towards the kitchen to get a drink and some food, stopping as she heard the frantic whispering coming from the lounge. She moved silently, letting the world around her fade as she approached Inko from behind, the woman desperately trying to hold in her sobs as she spoke into the phone.

"Are you sure?"

"And the other students?"

"So, they…they only took him?"

Himiko froze, her held breath catching in her throat as she let out a choked sob, startling Inko as the older woman spun around to stare at her.

"Himiko!" Inko gasped, "I…I didn't hear you come in!"

"What's going on?" Himiko asked, already dreading the answer.

"I…I won't lie to you," Inko said softly, her eyes already puffy from crying, "One of the busses was attacked on the way back to UA. The…the Villains were apparently all mutation types and…"

"They took Izu-kun," the blond said softly, her eyes filling with tears as she stared at the woman, "Didn't they?"

Inko nodded slowly, opening her arms as Himiko fell against her, letting out a sobbing wail.

"I told him!" she sobbed, "I told him that I felt bad about the trip! He shouldn't have gone! Now I'll never see him again!"

"Don't say that," Inko cried with her, "Izuku is strong! He'll come back to us; I promise. So please don't say that!"

The two women slowly fell to the floor as they sobbed together, the phone lying on the floor beside them, forgotten.
