Hometown Ties
Chapter 47
"I'm getting you chocolate chip muffin. Something to drink. Then bringing you home. Thank you for telling me. I will relay this to Brooke. And we will move forward. This isn't for you to spend anymore time worrying or stressing about it." Lucas said.
"I don't want to get the two of you in trouble. I'm so stupid i shouldn't of answered her call." Jack replied.
"Enough of that. You aren't to blame in this. Victoria is a bitter unhappy person. Her and Ted were poison. None of it is you're fault." Lucas said. Handing him a coffee cup and bakery bag containing the muffin.
He lead the way out of the cafe. Lucas kept his gaze on the road.
When they eventually got home. Lucas wrote down the number that Victoria called to contact Jack then watched as the teenager made his way into the home.
Lucas drove straight towards Clothes over bros.
...
"About that Lucas and i don't want a party. What we want is a dinner. A calm relaxed meal with loved ones. People are going to be brought in to cook and serve the food. So all the guests have to do is come by and enjoy." Brooke stated.
Lucas walked in and focused his gaze on her.
"We need to talk. It's important and can't wait." Lucas said.
"Okay let's talk in my back office." Brooke replied.
Brooke lead the way towards the office door and closed the door behind them.
He took a deep breath. And recalled the conversation with Jack he had at the cafe.
...
Days later
Tree Hill Prison
Victoria sat down across the table in her orange jump suit no make up on her face. Unable to hold back the smile on her face at the sight of her daughter and Lucas Sci=ott in the visitor's area.
