Welcome back to Prophecy of Masks. Last time, the Gryllus Worm was defeated, but as the battle ended, Woz returned from his quest to rescue Geiz, with bad news, as Decade and Diend were captured. Leaving immediately, Spyro and Cynder are about to enter the world of one Sento Kiryu, Kamen Rider Build, where apparently the Sky Wall has been re-erected. So what awaits when Spyro and Cynder arrive? Read on to discover...

(Our story opens barely after Spyro and Cynder left through the Aurora Curtain with Woz, starting with them leaping out of the other end, right in the front of the same massive wall that Build was observing earlier as the curtain disappears behind them, and now we see the full extent of the wall, including the energy emanating from the top of it, which is actually violet and fiery instead of red and uniform like it usually is.)

Spyro: What on earth? Is this some sort of Ring of Fire? Do we have a Destroyer to worry about here?!

Woz: No. That is the Sky Wall, a barrier created from the activation of the Pandora Box, a relic found on Mars which... it's a long story.

Cynder: And one we don't have time to hear, unless we want Tsukasa and Daiki to be dead when we find them.

Woz: Agreed, milady. Especially since this fiend has become much more dangerous than the last ones.

Spyro: They'll fall all the same.

(And just as Spyro says that, the group is almost immediately surrounded by an army of green and yellow automatons with a gattling gun for one arm, a claw shield for the other, and some sort of pod on each shoulder, all pointing their weapons at the group, save two, which make way for a familiar red and gold figure)

Evol: Well, well, well, didn't expect to see you two again. It seems the beating we gave you last time didn't teach you anything.

Cynder: (Recognizing Evol) You again!

Evol: Glad to see at least one person recognizes me. (Gesturing around him) Like what I've done with the place? I'm guessing you don't. But Lord Malefor most certainly will. Consider this a practice run for what I plan to do for your world.

Spyro: Too bad you'll get no chance to act on that!

Evol: (Laughing) Considering you're the ones surrounded here, I highly doubt you'll be able to stop me. (Snaps his fingers) Open fire!

(As the automatons prepare to fire upon the trio, Spyro releases a surge of electricity, shorting most of them out before they can shoot while terminating the machine guns on those that remain)

Evol: Nice trick. But don't think you'll be able to pull it off again so easily, seeing as I control the only source of mana in this world.

(As this fact sets in, we can see Spyro's face turn from confidence to horror, as does Cynder's as both realize neither had thought of that before)

Evol: Finally managed to scare you, eh? Trust me, I can do a lot more than that.

Build: Too bad you won't get the chance!

(With that, we see Build has arrived, and brought a friend with him, a man in a blue and white jacket over a black shirt)

Evol: You two!? How have you not been killed yet!?

Build: Did you forget I merged worlds? And destroyed you as they did?

Evol: (As the Mark of Malefor glows upon his left shoulder) I've gotten some new power since then. Want a sample?!

(As his mark glows, Evol throws bolts of purple energy at Build and his friend, both of whom manage to dodge it before appearing to start arguing)

?: Since when can he do that?!

Build: (Sarcastically) Since he was released, Banjou!

Cross-Z: Are we really going to do this right now?!

Build: (Pulling out a black and red device with silver gears and a crank handle, as well as a red and blue pair of bottles.) No. We're going to fight this monster, and win, just like last time.

Cross-Z: (Pulling out an identical device, but only one bottle, as what looks like a tiny dragon with a hole in it's back flies into his hand, folding it's head and tail up as it does) Then let's do this!

(With that, both Build and Cross-Z place on their belts before shaking the bottles they carry)

Build: So then, shall we begin the experiment?

(His quandry asked, Build twists the caps on his bottles, while Cross-Z does the same, before slamming his cap down into the back of his dragon as Build inserts his bottles cap down into his belt, followed by Cross-Z slamming his dragon into the belt)

Cross-Z Dragon: Wake up!

Build Driver (Build): Rabbit! Tank! Best Match!

Build Driver (Cross-Z): Cross-Z Dragon!

(With these actions, both Build and Cross-Z start cranking the handle on the side of their Build Drivers, causing them to generate some sort of constructs resembling model kit wire frames on a giant rack)

Build Drivers: Are you Ready?!

Build and Cross-Z: Henshin!

Build Driver (Build) Hagane no Moonsault! RabbitTank! Yay!

Build Driver (Cross-Z): Wake up Burning! Get Cross-Z Dragon! Yeah!

(With the famous pronouncement made, the wire frame constructs slam into Build and Cross-Z, Build's creating his red and blue striped armor across a black bodysuit, with a visor resembling a blue tank and red rabbit head, using armor pieces resembling a rabbit ear and tank barrel to create something akin to a scarf, while Cross-Z's is much simpler, dark blue armor with a flame design wrist plate on his left arm, but as the armor halves come together, a third section folds in, creating shoulder pads with that flame design and a dragon head visor. And each generates a weapon as well, Build receives what looks like a steampunk drill sword, and Cross-Z a normal looking sword with a pull tab at the pommel)

Evol: DESTROY THEM!

(At Evol's command, the automatons attack the now quintet, since Woz is still here and barely able to defend himself)

Cynder: (Noticing this) Woz, why aren't you transforming?

Woz: My driver got wrecked in my escape!

Build: We've been working on fixing it. Well, really, I have.

Cross-Z: (Slashing an automaton in half) Not really the best time for that! We need to focus on not dying here!

Build: Working on that! No idea how we're going to get out of here though!

Cynder: Leave that to me!

(With that, Cynder channels her Shadow element to obscure the field in darkness long enough for her team to escape through the shadows, leaving Evol blindsided)

Evol: (To his army of automatons) Scour all corners of this land. And if you find them, KILL THEM ALL!

(As Evol's automatons mobilize on his orders, our heroes rematerialize from the shadows a couple miles away, in the main room of what looks like a coffee shop.)

Cynder: (Panting from exhaustion) This is about as far as we can get without exhausting my mana reserves.

Cross-Z: (Seeing where they are) No worries, you almost got us perfectly into our base!

Cynder: Seriously?

Build: Yep, it's right through here.

(With that, Build opens a fridge behind the counter, of all things, revealing it's a secret door, which the rest follow him through into some sort of laboratory, where Woz's destroyed BeyonDriver is being examined, with several whiteboards all over the place)

Build: Welcome to Team Build's headquarters.

Spyro: Got to admit, nobody would think about that.

Cross-Z: It is pretty brilliant. I'll give Sento that.

Cynder: As much as the discussion about brilliant hiding places is invigorating, we really need to get to finding Tsukasa and Daiki.

Build: Straight to the point. I like it! (Pulls up a whiteboard with a map of Japan split by the Sky Wall on it) We've been keeping an eye on Evolto's prisoner camps since he undid the new world I made to stop him and took over. He's got one in all three provinces. (Points at one province) We're here in Touto right now. (Points at a second province) Decade's being kept here in Hokuto. (Points at the third province) And Diend is speculated to be here in Seito.

Spyro: Wait, what about that Geiz character? That was the reason Woz and company even came here?

Build: That's the thing. We have no idea. But if he's as powerful an ally of yours as Evolto seems to think so, he's likely under lock and key so tight we're going to need all our forces to even attempt getting at him. We're stretched thin as it is.

Cynder: How thin is "thin"?

Build: Well, there's only four of us total, and both of the other two are staking out the prisoner camps. Kazumi is in Seito, and Gentoku's looking into Hokuto.

Spyro: Then what we need to do is clear. Split up, get Tsukasa and Daiki out of there, then take out Evol.

Cross-Z: I'm liking this guy already!

Cynder: Alright then, here's the plan. Sento and I will meet up with this Gentoku character.

Build: So Spyro and Banjou will rejoin Kazumi.

Cynder: Pretty much.

Cross-Z: Sounds good to me. Let's go kick Evol's tail, again!

Woz: Wait, if you are going into action, what about me?

Spyro: Stay here while your device is being fixed, and keep an eye out for Geiz. He may be closer than we realize.

Woz: Of course, that makes perfect sense.

Cynder: Alright then, if there are no objections, let's get to it.

(With that, the group sans Woz leaves through the fridge door as our tale ends for today)

And thus the Build Arc begins. So we already start in craziness, as Evol has managed to separate Build's world from the other Riders' world, and has taken it over. So expect more physics breaking nonsense at some point as the story ends. And don't worry, I've got the biggest source of comedy covered, just wait until next time for it. So with that, be sure to tune in next time! Same time... same channel!
