Practically Smooth

"What about tomorrow?"

"I can't..."

"Next week?"

"No..."

"When are you ever free Hinata!?" Sakura bellowed. Hinata sighed and gave her a weak smile. She and Naruto had been spending a lot of time together as of late. It was nice. Going to his house and eating ramen then falling asleep after playing cards. Walking through the village hand in hand. Waiting at the entrance of the village for the other to return from a mission.

They were a pretty established couple among everyone in the village. Everyone must be sick of it by now. Especially the people who knew Hinata and Naruto well. Sakura groaned and leaned back in her chair. "You two are inseparable these days, it's getting old."

"Sorry Sakura-san."

She waved her off. She leaned into her hand and gazed off, looking forlorn. "Hell if I know what you see in him." Hinata played with the ends of her hair.

"I've always loved Naruto-kun." Sakura waved her off again before sitting up.

"Speak of the devil." They spotted Naruto chuckling nervously as hordes of fangirls surrounded him. Sakura balled her fists and glared at the scene. "He's so brazen!" Hinata looked over and once Naruto noticed her he winked in her direction. Hinata blushed.

"I don't know..." Sakura perked, "To me, he's..."

"Practically smooth."
