As always, platform nine and three quarters was filled with students, their parents and family members. Noises came from each corner of the platform whether it was people talking, laughing, screaming or crying. It was quite the crowd and Evelyn wondered when she would get used to it. At least, she was happy that she wasn't claustrophobic because these place would be a nightmare if she was.

"I'm getting too old for this." She heard Mr Potter mutter behind her back. As her mum and Ezra had to work early, Evelyn was taken to the platform by James' parents alongside James.

"Oh, please, Fleamont, you have gotten old ages ago," Euphemia muttered making her husband gasp.

James rolled his eyes. "Here they go." As soon as he said that, his parents started to bicker about their ages. "Some things never change." He pointed to his parents and the platform. "However, some things do." He pointed to her lipstick. She had put on the red lipstick that Sheila gave to her.

"I wonder where you were going to mention it. You've been looking at it since morning." She muttered under her breath. Her eyes sought out for her friends. The big crowd prevented her from seeing that. "Do you like it?"

"Sure," James answered and she smiled. Her mum had liked it too. "What I'm curious is what made you put on lipstick."

Evelyn shrugged as they walked amidst the crowd. "I wanted to be bold." She told him and he raised an eyebrow. "Plus, it could become some sort of trademark."

"Trademark? What are you? A professional Quidditch player?" He snorted."

"No, but I will be a future a Wizengamot member," Evelyn informed him and he raised an eyebrow. "So, my physical appearance will be known with three distinctive traits. Blonde hair, blue eyes and red lips." She explained to him. "It's an unforgettable look and it matches up with every outfit and accessories."

James hummed. "It sure does match up with your prefect badge." instead of wearing her daily clothes as she did in her previous journeys to Hogwarts, Evelyn ahd put on her new school robes and her polished prefect badge. She had spent a few minutes looking at herself in the mirror today.

"Thanks." She said before shotting James a smile.

James grinned at her. "Will my compliments and our dear friendship stop you from giving detention and deducting points?"

"No." His grin faltered and he pouted. "It's my duty as a prefect to give detentions to people who cause problems and you alongside Sirius are the biggest trouble makers. Filch rues the day you were born."

"Is it weird that I'm proud of that fact?"

Evelyn shook her head. "No. It's cruel." She answered him. "Plus, isn't Remus the other Gryffindor prefect? Shouldn't you be worried about that?"

James scoffed before waving her off. "Oh, please. Remus won't try to stop us. First, he's a troublemaker himself and second, he can never say no to me, Sirius or Peter." Suddenly, James' hazel eyes lit up at someone behind her. "Speaking of them, there is one."

Evelyn turned around to spot Sirius walking towards them. Behind him, she noticed his mother, brother and Rabastan with his mother. Her heart skipped a beat at seeing her boyfriend. She hadn't seen him in such a long time. She missed him and most importantly, she had realized that she loved him. She loved him very much.

She clenched her fists and looked down to stop herself from looking at him. The last thing she needed is for people to notice her looking at him.

"Hi, James." Sirius greeted his best friend. When her eyes landed on him, she noticed that he was a black shirt, ripped black jeans and biker boots. She wondered when did he even get these outfit. You couldn't find them in a wizarding clothing store and she doubted Sirius went into muggle ones. "Hello, Lynn."

Evelyn looked up to Sirius and met his grey eyes. She shuddered at the sight of them. She remembered that she had seen them recently. It was odd since she and Sirius hadn't seen each since the end of July. Perhaps, she had seen those eyes in a dream.

"Hi, Sirius." She greeted him before tilting her head. "Did you come here by using the Floo network or did you ride your motorcycle here?"

Sirius chuckled at her question. "I'm glad that you get where I'm going with this look." He turned to look at James who was frowning.

"I don't get muggle culture at all."

Evelyn sighed. "Well, let me explain it to you, James." He turned his attention to Evelyn. "Sirius is initially trying to copy a staple of teenage films, specifically American. It's called the bad boy." James raised an eyebrow while Sirius scoffed. "Usually, the bad boy in muggle films is this trouble-maker, rule breaker, the anti-authority bloke who gets all the ladies' attention and he breaks those ladies' hearts one by one. Until one day, he meets this girl. A girl who changes his world upside down and makes him show that golden heart of his" She tapped Sirius' chest. "that he had all along, but was hiding it."

"Wow, mate, I didn't know you were so informed in the muggle film culture." James teased his best friend.

Sirius rolled his eyes. "I'm not. My look takes from blokes who ride motorcycles. I saw a few pass my neighbourhood and I thought they looked good." He told them and she hummed. "Of course, I didn't take away anything from them. Longbeards and bald heads are not my styles." He turned to glance at her. "Speaking of styles, what's up with the red lipstick?"

"It's a trademark." She answered him and he frowned. "James will explain it to you." She told him as she looked around. "Have you seen my friends?"

"Yeah, saw Lee and Suarez a few feet away on the right." Evelyn raised her head to see if she could see them. She gaped when she saw her friends talking to Gabriela's dad. "Thanks for telling me, Sirius." She smiled at him. "I'll see you two later." She turned to Mr and Mrs Potter. "And thank you for accompanying me here." She told them and they both smiled at her one return. "Bye." She said as she dragged her truck and headed to her friends.

As she was making her way there, her eyes drifted to Rabastan. She noticed that his midnight blue eyes had already been on her and they didn't look pleased with her at all. She furrowed her eyebrows at him and she tilted her head. Rather than give her any indication, Rabastan just turned his face and ignored her.

"So, how are you doing?" Evelyn asked Gabriela as they were all sitting in the compartment. As soon as she asked the questions, everyone grew quiet and they all turned their attention to their friend.

Gabriela looked way better than she looked the last time Evelyn saw her. She didn't look in desperate need of sleeping and her face was fuller. "Better." She mumbled as she fidgeted with the buttons of her robes. "Chris has been helping a lot. So has Mona. She came around as much as she could."

"That's nice of her," Diana mumbled. "How about your dad? Is he doing good?"

She shrugged. "I don't know. I'm worried that he will get lonely without mum around." She bit her lip. "He assured me that he'll be okay, but I'm not sure."

"You have to believe him," Edrick told her. "After all, dads are supposed to be strong." Gabriela only nodded her head before she returned her attention to Evelyn. "Congratulations on becoming a prefect by the way." Her other friends congratulated her as well afterwards.

"Thank you." She told them as she felt her heart soar.

"How are you feeling?" Diana questioned her.

She shrugged her shoulders. "A bit nervous." She barely slept last night as she kept thinking about today. "I have to go to a meeting in the prefect carriage and do rounds with the other prefect soon." She turned to look at Edrick. "I really thought you'd be the other prefect."

Edrick scrunched his nose. "No, I think it was better for me. After all, I can study on my studies."

"And yeh're not de most responsible person," Henrik added making them all laugh.

"That too." He snorted. "Do you know who the other prefect is?"

Evelyn shook her head. "I have no idea." She was hoping it was Bertram Aubrey. While he could be a tosser, he could be tolerated on most occasions. She didn't believe John Pearson or Stephen Plate were contesters as they were too quiet, introverted and definitely not the leader type.

Carter cleared his throat. "I saw who it was. It was Barty Crouch."

Everyone groaned, including Evelyn. While she had liked Barty at the beginning and considered him a friend, their friendship had taken a turn for the worse in the third year. He was hostile and downright rude to all of them, especially her and Diana. Carter guessed that it was because the two of them were better students than him. His dislike of Lily proved that theory even more.

"Why him?" She complained before crossing her arms. "Of all other Ravenclaw boys, why him?" At that moment, Evelyn wished that Don was around. If he was here, he would be chosen prefect. She did not doubt it in her mind. After all, he was a good student, had a good record when it came to punishments and definitely had leadership skills. Don was also quite intimidating on his appearance with his broad build and big arms.

"Look, he will never do anything to jeopardize his dad's career." Edrick reminded him and Evelyn turned her attention to him. "My dad says that his dad keeps a tight leash on him."

Evelyn frowned. "What kind of a person treats their kid as a pet?"

"He's just controlling," Edrick answered her. "You know he wants his son to be the best of the best. So, he has some rules, he schedules Barty's study hours, he tells him who he should and shouldn't be friends with," Evelyn felt her heart clench and her stomach drop. This all sounded too familiar to her. "I don't think Barty is even allowed to date because it will distract him from his studies." Evelyn pressed her lips as she was close to vomiting.

"Okay, dat is too much." Henrik whistled. "Who told yeh all dat?"

"My dad heard around," Edrick responded. "Everyone talks about Crouch. They think he's going to be Minister after Minchum resigns."

Christina frowned. "Minchum has been Minister for a few months. Why will he resign so soon?"

"Because he has been doing a horrible job of dealing with the war. People think he's too soft." Evelyn informed her. "But Crouch isn't the only candidate for the post. Millicent Bagnold is too."

"Do we need another woman in the post?" Edrick scoffed. "It was Eugenia Jenkins that messed up all of this."

"So, you're going to blame every capable woman just because of one's mistake?" Diana retorted at him and Evelyn hummed in agreement. "We don't go saying that men should stop being Ministers because some of them did a horrible job. Besides, the true problem is the system, not the Ministers."

"They system?" Carter repeated.

Diana hummed. "Yes, the system. The system discriminates many people in this community. This discrimination has led to this war starting. If the Minister bothered to hear muggleborns' voices or hire some muggleborns in their cabinet, this was would never happen. Plus, the war didn't start becoming trouble until purebloods started to being killed." Evelyn remembered how her mum's statement had been ignored by the Ministry officials fourteen years ago. "Until someone changes the system, nothing will ever change."

Just like Carter said, Barty Crouch was the other Ravenclaw prefect. While Evelyn hated it, she tried her best to act nice around him. Barty, on the other hand, didn't hide his distaste. He scowled at her when he saw her, but now, he was acting all nice and sweet. He was faking it just like she did. Although, she had to admit that she did a better job. Many people knew Barty was fake, only her mum and Don knew she was.

Her eyes wandered to the other prefects in her year. She wasn't surprised to see Lily was made a prefect at all. She was sure that Lily wasn't surprised herself. Besides Lily was Remus. James had told Remus was made prefect when she had come back from the States. As she looked at him, she noticed that he looked quite pale and tired. She knew it was from the full moon that had passed a few days ago. She couldn't imagine how hard this year was going to be for him with all of these duties.

From Slytherin, Rabastan and Elena were chosen. Evelyn wasn't shocked to see her boyfriend there, but she was a bit taken back. A part of her had expected Evan Rosier to be chosen as he was also a good student. Elena was a surprise. She didn't pay much attention to her cousin in classes, but she didn't think she was able to become a prefect. Her cousin was too quiet and reserved to become a prefect in Evelyn's opinion.

While from the Hufflepuffs, Amos Diggory and Ivy Gray were chosen as prefects. Amos was a good student and he was the best from the Hufflepuff house in their year. Ivy wasn't a surprise either, but Evelyn knew that the girl loathed her for no apparent reason. She would have been more comfortable with Mona being chosen.

"Welcome everyone one." Helen McCoy, a seventh-year Hufflepuff girl who has been chosen as Head Girl, spoke up. She was a muggleborn girl with ivory skin, strawberry blonde hair that reached her waist and bright green eyes that reminded Evelyn of green apples. She was in the club and Evelyn always found her to be one of the friendliest people around. "And to the fifth years, welcome to the prefect carriage." She gave them all a look. "I'm Helen McCoy and I'm your Head Girl. This is Edgar Nott and he's your Head Boy."

Evelyn shuddered. He was a pale, tall boy with sliced dark brown hair and black eyes. He was a pureblood and a member of the Sacred Twenty-Eight. According to Rabastan and many rumours, Edgar Nott was quite passionate about pure-blood supremacy and supported Voldemort. The reminder of it made Evelyn uneasy since Helen was a muggleborn herself. What was Dumbledore thinking when he chose these people?

"Prefects' duties is to keep an order in the school, specifically their houses." Helen began to explain. "Of course, you're also to offer help to students as well, especially the younger ones. The duties of being prefects vary from patrolling corridors after the schedule and even patrolling the Hogwarts Express after this meeting. It's mostly to confiscate dangerous items and stop people from duelling." Duelling was becoming a nom between students since the war was declared. A week didn't go by without student duelling each other. "Prefects are allowed to take points from other houses and their own house, but not give points. They also can give out detentions when necessary and are sometimes in charge of detentions." Evelyn waited for Edgar to speak, but he didn't open his mouth at all. He didn't seem like he was even listening. "You also have a few benefits as being able to use the prefect bathroom. The prefect bathroom is only used by prefects, Quidditch captains and us." She pointed to herself and Edgar. "Other people aren't allowed to know the password, not even your friends." She glanced at Remus who looked down. "The password for this month is blue jasmine."

Helen started to give them the duties that they had to do on the train, Evelyn was paired with Barty who had to hold a groan at them cooperating. Afterwards, they were all dismissed to start their duties.

"Should we start patrolling the first few compartments first? Or should we go the end to the beginning?" She asked Barty as they were about to leave the carriage.

He scoffed. "I think we should do this alone."

Evelyn furrowed her eyebrows at him. "But we're supposed to work together."

"I work better alone." Without letting her respond to him, he walked out of the carriage alongside the other prefects. She bit her lip and shook her head. Why couldn't Dumbledore and Flitwick decide on someone sensible? Edrick would be perfect for this position.

"Uncooperative partners always make your job difficult." Evelyn turned around to face Helen. At that moment, she realized that they were the only ones in the room. She had thought that Edgar stayed. "I understand that very well."

"Nott is being a prat?" She asked as she moved closer to Helen.

Helen sighed. "You can say that. When we met before, he told me that I can handle everything. After all, he said I must be hardworking enough to be in Hogwarts." Evelyn pressed her lips. Many purebloods didn't think muggleborns deserved to come in Hogwarts. They thought that Hogwarts should be a school only for the true wizards and witch or whatever that meant. "And he literally left me to handle everything. I have to to do every schedule, meet with the professors and Dumbledore and many other things."

Evelyn bit her lip. The Head Boy and Girl were supposed to be a team and yet these two were far from that. What was worse was that Edgar was a threat to Helen's safety. "Is there something I can help with?"

"Will you really do that?" She nodded her head in answer. "Thank you much, Evelyn." Evelyn noticed the girls' shoulders relax as she looked through a piece of parchment. It looked to be a list of duties. "Will you be able to make a schedule for the patrols?"

While Evelyn knew that this was going to be a hard job, she couldn't miss the opportunity. First, Rabastan and her could work together as prefects and they didn't need to meet up in secret all the time. Second, she could help Remus with it. She could schedule the patrols around the lunar cycle. So, the boy didn't have to do patrols on the night of the full moon and the night afterwards. If she scheduled the patrols, it would benefit everyone involved.

When the welcoming feast ended, Evelyn stretched her limbs and let out a yawn. She was tired with all the patrolling she had done on the train and because she didn't sleep the night before. She couldn't wait to rest her head on the pillow for just a few minutes before she met Rabastan in their secret spot.

As she was about to leave the Great Hall with her friends, someone called her name. She stopped in her tracks and so did her friends. When she turned around, she saw Gavin Corner walk up to her. He was a sixth-year black boy with curly black hair and dark brown eyes. He was also a prefect just like her.

"Hey, Evelyn." He greeted her. "Can I borrow you for a bit?"

"Yes, of course." She answered before turning her attention to her friends. "You all can head without me." they nodded their heads and walked out od the Great Hall. When they exited, she faced Gavin. "So, what can I help you with?"

"I talked to the other prefects and everyone thinks you should be the one to escort the first years in our tower." Evelyn raised an eyebrow at his words. "Since you are the friendliest and most approachable one of all of us." Despite being the open-minded and understanding house, Ravenclaws was one of the most introverted houses. Most members didn't have that many friends and spend most of their time alone. She and her friends were the only true friend group in the house. "So, can you do it?"

Evelyn wanted to say no. She wanted to rest, so she could meet her boyfriend later. However, she was fully aware that if she said no, she would go against who everyone thought who she was. She needed to keep that perfection up. "Of course. I'll go talk to them immediately."

A minute later, Evelyn stood before fifteen new and impressionable Ravenclaw faces. When she moved in front of them, they all looked at her with wide eyes. "Hi, everyone." She greeted them. "My name is Evelyn Sinclair King and I'm a fifth-year prefect of the Ravenclaw houses. Before we head towards our common room which is located in a tower, I would like to welcome all of you in Ravenclaw in behalf of the whole house. I hope your experience in the house would be as amazing as the rest of us."

Evelyn said the last words between her teeth. She would never forget how the house turned their backs on her when she rejected Lockhart. It wasn't until she won the debate that they became friendlier to her.

"Now, follow me."

As they ascended the many stairs of the school, Evelyn told them all she could about the layout and even the history. Some Ravenclaw students were shocked by some information while the others weren't. She guessed that some of the read 'Hogwarts, A History' by Bathilda Bagshot. Some even asked questions which she answered.

It didn't take long for them to arrive in the Ravenclaw tower. When they were in front of the entrance, Evelyn turned to face them.

"Very time you want to enter our common room, you need to knock the eagle-shaped knocker. When you do so, it will give you a riddle to solve. If you solve a riddle, you can enter the common room." She was about to say something else, but a boy raised his hand. This boy was the same one who had asked her the questions. "You can save your questions at the end. I'm not finished explaining it yet." She told the boy who blushed and looked down. Some others chuckled at him. "If you don't solve the riddle, the door won't open and you have to wait for someone to come and solve the riddle." She knew that this happened to Edrick a lot as he was horrible at solving riddles. "Everyone who can solve the riddle can enter even students from other houses." She explained. "Now, does anyone have any question?" The boy didn't raise his hand. "Okay."

Evelyn knocked the knocker against the door and the eagle turned to look at her. "You can break me without touching or seeing me. What am I?"

She knew the answer, but Gavin had told her not to answer. Apparently, they let the first years answer to give them some sort of confidence. She remembered the prefect who escorted them to do and Don had been the one to answer it.

"I can't think of anything." She muttered under her breath. "Does anyone have an idea?"

A girl with long dark brown hair and light brown skin raised her hand. Evelyn motioned to her and the girl cleared her throat. "A promise?"

Immediately, the door opened and Evelyn turned to the girl. "Good job." The girl smiled and they all entered the common room.

As soon as the first years stepped in, they all looked at the place with wide eyes, making Evelyn smile. "This is our common room." She showed it to them. "The boys' dormitory is on the right staircase and the girls' is on the left. There is a study hall filled with books behind the statues of our founder, Rowena Ravenclaw." She pointed towards the granite statue. "The study hall has a silencing charm around it, so you won't be able to hear it. Most of the books are books the students left behind. It has become some sort of a tradition which is ironic because we are the house who hates tradition." Some first-years laughter at her words. "Other than that, there is also a notice board that you all should check regularly." She explained to them. "Professor Flitwick's office is on the third floor right next to the Charms classroom. He is our head of the house and is always helpful to all of us. If you can't reach professor Flitwick, then you can always come to me to ask for help. My ears are open and I will help you the best I can."

Behind her, Gavin cleared his throat and she nodded at him.

"Now, Gavin will tell you where your dorms and who you'll share them with." She stepped aside and Gavin stepped forwards. When she did, she slumped her shoulders and took a deep breath. It had been a long day and it was still going.

Evelyn tried her best to keep her eyes open as she walked towards the classroom where she and Rabastan met. Tiredness was trying to take over her and she hated it. She didn't want it to ruin her reunion with her boyfriend who she hadn't seen in two months. She missed him too much to even think about sleeping.

She opened the door of the classroom and found Rabastan there. At the sight of him, her heart started beating and a smile spread on her face. Now, she noticed that he had grown taller and his hair was cut shorter. Somehow, she even noticed that he had gotten more handsome too. She didn't believe that was possible.

In a fast pace, Evelyn walked up to her boyfriends before jumping to hug him. He immediately wrapped his arms around her waist and lifted her. As he buried his face on her neck, she wrapped her arms around his neck. She inhaled the smell of fresh pine that she had been longing for all summer. Merlin, it seemed like she underestimated how much she missed him.

"I missed you." She muttered before squeezing him tighter. "So much."

Rabastan pulled away from the hug and dropped her feet on the stone floor. "I missed you too." He mumbled before crashing his lips against hers.

Immediately, she deepened the kiss. It seemed like she had missed his kisses more than she had missed his hugs. As soon as their tongues tangle with each other and their arms held each other tight, Rabastan pushed her against the nearest wall.

As they kissed, with little space between them, Evelyn tried to show everything she felt about Rabastan through the kiss. She wanted to tell him that she missed him, she wanted to tell him that she didn't want to part away from him and most importantly, she wanted to tell him that she loved him. However, the last thing was proving to be hard without telling him with her words.

When he pulled away from the kiss, she thought that this was the perfect moment to tell him. It wasn't as her boyfriend started to skim his lips against her jaw. The action made her tilt her head and let out a sigh. The action caused him to start pressing kisses on her neck. The feel of it made Evelyn close her eyes and relax her shoulders in enjoyment.

About to get lost on the kiss, she felt him start sucking her neck. She paid him no mind until he started to bite it. Her eyes widened and she put her hands on his chest, pushing him from her neck. "What are you doing?"

"Kissing your neck." He whispered before he dove in again.

Evelyn stopped him from. "You were about to leave a hickey, Rabastan." She reminded him. "Do you know it would leave a mark on me?"

"So, what? It will prove you're mine."

She rolled her eyes. "It will also leave people asking questions who did this to me." Her body shuddered as she remembered Sirius' warning. "The last thing we need right now is for people to find out."

"Maybe that's what we need right now. To remind a few particular people that we're dating."

Evelyn furrowed her eyebrows. "What are you talking about?"

"I'm talking about Potter and Black. They were too friendly with you on the platform."

At that moment, Evelyn realized why Rabastan had seemed so angry about in the platform. She groaned and moved away from him. "Are we still doing this? Are you still being jealous with no reason?" He didn't say anything to her. "And I've told you that both Sirius and James know. All the Marauders too." Again, she was reminded of her conversation with Sirius. Maybe she should ask Rabastan more about the danger his family could bring to her.

"I don't like them." Rabastan declared and she frowned. "I don't like you hanging out with them." He continued and she bit her lip. "I think we should set some boundaries when it comes to them."

"Boundaries?" Evelyn snorted. "Why?"

"Because I'm not comfortable with your friendship with them, especially Black... and Potter." He pressed his lips together. "It would be better if you put some distance between you and all of them. For your sake as well too. The last thing you need is to be friends with them."

She scoffed. "Oh, and you can be friends with Avery and the rest. You know, the people who torment me and my friends."

"You know I can't do that. I will raise too much suspicion." She pressed her lips as he was right. "And the Marauders aren't good people either. Potter and Black are annoying bullies, Pettigrew is a desperate fan of theirs while Lupin is the worst pushover." She didn't say anything as Rabastan had a point. The Marauders were a bit like this, but she knew they were a lot more. She had seen it over the summer. "I think you should stop talking to them or at least, stop being friends with her."

"That won't work with Remus as he is a prefect."

Rabastan breathed out. "Alright, you can talk to Lupin doing prefect duties. The other three are off-limits." Evelyn bit her lip. "Can you do that?"

Evelyn valued her friendship with the Marauders a lot. Other the past few months, they had proven to be fun people to be around with. While they were far from being perfect and needed to grow up soon, she had enjoyed their friendship and time together. However, she valued her relationship with Rabastan so much more. She loved him. She saw him as the person she wanted to spend the rest of her life with. The Marauders were nothing compared to him and she wouldn't risk their relationship because of them. That would be quite stupid of her to do.

"Will that make you happy?"

He nodded. "Very." He answered her. "It will make me both happy and comfortable in our relationship. Your friendship with them makes me very uncomfortable."

She couldn't risk it. She couldn't risk losing him and the love she had for him. "Then I'll do it."

Rabastan's eyes lit up and he smiled. "Will you really do that?" Evelyn nodded. "Why?"

At that moment, Evelyn knew that this was the perfect moment. So, she said. "Because I love you, Rabastan Lestrange."

His eyes widened and his jaw fell. He stared at her for a few seconds before he stuttered. "What-what?"

Evelyn took a step towards him and wrapped her arms around his neck. "I love you and I will do anything for you." She wondered if he was going to say it back. This wonder didn't take long to turn into a concern of hers.

"I love you too." He responded. "Merlin, I love you." And with that, Evelyn pulled the boy that she loved into another kiss. A kiss that she knew would stay with her forever.

So, this is the beginning of the school year. I'm warning you that it's going to be a rough time and I think you all can see it with the ending of this chapter. Either way, I hope you enjoyed it. Please, let me know in the reviews what your thoughts about it. You can also theorize about Evelyn's dream in the last chapter because I'm very interested to hear your thoughts on it. We're going to discuss it more in the next chapter. Thank you for reading, reviewing, favouriting and following my story. It's very much appreciated.

Guest your fan: I really like your theory. It could be true or not, but you have to wait and see. Yeah, Lucah is quite the person. He's not stable, he's just very controlling as seen in his relationship with Evelyn and quite possessive as well. Evelyn just wants to try something new and makeup seems to be the best change she could make. While putting red lipstick is quite bold, Evelyn likes it and she doesn't care what people will say. As you can see it in this chapter, she wants it to be her trademark. Yes, this chapter was very important for Evelyn, especially her relationship with her dad which is in all levels, very messed up. I hope you enjoyed the chapter and enjoy this one as ell.
