Hey everyone! I come with good news! I am finally able to write again! I seem to be getting over the block and now I am really hoping to get back into the swing of planning and ready and get back to the stage I was in August. I have an idea for a Draco and Astoria fic in my head inspired by an RP I am currently doing on Twitter so we shall see if i can form a fanfic from the idea.
Stay safe,
Lots of love,

Hidden Child-Part 81:
Lucius and Narcissa had been shocked to receive an owl in the middle of the night and hadn't slept much after. Narcissa had wanted to go to Hogwarts instantly but Lucius had managed to get her to hold back as she was exhausted from running the Manor and planning their rather busy social lives… at least that's what it was looking like for the next few weeks. The parents had to decide who was going to join Bellatrix and who wouldn't be. They had to think about their daughter as if they made a wrong move then she could be thrust into the path of danger, much earlier than anyone wanted her to be.
Lucius was the first to wake from a nap when his Elf asked about breakfast and Lucius said to make coffee for himself and Narcissa but to make sure they could take it to Hogwarts with them.
About 30 minutes later and Lucius and Narcissa had Floo'd into Dumbledore's office and were sat drinking their coffees when Dumbledore finally showed up.
"I should have known that you two would have arrived here rather early. Forgive the tardiness from me," the Headmaster said and the Malfoys nodded.
"All is forgiven Albus. We couldn't sleep after that owl. Thank you for not holding off until this morning," Narcissa said as she looked at the elder wizard.
"I was but then realised that this could take some explaining as myself, Severus and Minerva spoke deep into the night," Dumbledore said as he nodded at Narcissa, "Madam Pomfrey and Helena Ravenclaw are with Lyra now and she's had a calming draught and fever reducer and a dreamless sleep potion."
"The ghost really does seem to have become friends with Lyra," Lucius said, "but we want to know what happened last night."
"Well I can only tell what I know before I was summoned to the Hospital Wing," Dumbledore said, "Lyra woke up shaking and crying and she felt hot and feverish so she went to Severus' office but he had retired for the night. Unable to find him she began to head up to the Entrance Hall but the fever made her bearings unclear. She did the only thing she could think of and that was to call Helena to her. The ghost then managed to get Lyra to the Hospital Wing and, once Poppy was attending to her, Helena roused me, Minerva and Severus and we came rushing to see what was going on."
The Headmaster poured freshly brought coffee and served a fruit and pastry breakfast. The Elves clearly knowing that the Headmaster had guests and was eating with them in his office.
Silence fell as everyone ate and once the second cups of coffee were poured Lucius finally spoke.
"So what happened once you all had arrived?" he asked.
"Severus went into godfather mode and began to ask her questions and it was then that she said she could remember stuff that she hadn't been able to before," Dumbledore explained, "it was one memory coming back that shook her awake and possibly triggered her fever."
"Wait… Lyra's regaining her memories?" Lucius asked, "but that's impossible. She was hit with a memory spell full on. There's no way her memories could be coming back."
"Luc… let him speak," Narcissa said softly as she rested a hand on her husband's thigh.
"We think that it was an attempt to take out Lyra that went wrong. Think about it… Everyone is out looking for Bellatrix so why would she risk capture by being so close to Malfoy Manor? Everyone would be looking for her and know that she needs to take out Lyra," Dumbledore said, "from what I remember of Bellatrix at school she never failed with curses. Thus Lyra shouldn't have any memories at all."
"And yet she didn't lose all her memories," Narcissa said as she looked at Dumbledore, "what are you thinking Albus?"
"Someone used Polyjuice Potion and became Bellatrix to make everyone think that it was Bellatrix attacking Lyra when really it was a minion who didn't do a proper job," the Headmaster replied, "meaning that Lyra is regaining her lost memories and that is what is causing the headaches she's been having lately."
"Is that even possible?" Lucius asked as he rose and went over to the window.
"Yes it very much is and we have to consider that that is indeed what is happening with Lyra. Minerva thinks that it's all coming back because of the spells that she has been learning," Dumbledore said.
"Lucius…?" Narcissa asked noticing her husband distancing himself.
"I don't want some of her memories to come back. From what I can tell the memories she's lost are the horrific ones from when the Death Eaters took over the Manor," Lucius said, "I do not want her remembering anything to do with them."
Narcissa sighed before she went over to husband and rested a hand on his arm and squeezed it gently,
"We just have to be prepared for whatever she remembers and answer the questions. She knows what you were," she said softly, "but not what happened so we need to help her understand it all. We can shield her from some things but not from others. She's 11 now and we have to be honest with her. Look where lying has got us in the past."
Lucius sighed and nodded, knowing that she was right and rested a hand on hers.
"Can we see her Dumbledore?" he asked the Headmaster who nodded.
The three made their way to the Hospital Wing and Narcissa rushed to her daughter's bed as Lucius began to speak to Poppy.
"Her shields are low," Dumbledore said, "that also will not be helping and I will have to shield this room until we can get her shields back up or she will have a serious headache."
"That is the last thing my daughter needs," Narcissa said as she stroked Lyra's hair softly and gasped. Dumbledore quickly grabbed his wand and raised shields. Lyra was beginning to wake up. Now the questions would begin.
