Hey everyone! Did we all make it through October? All here? Well welcome to level 11 of Jumanji. We are almost through the year and somehow November is here. Honestly this year has been such a rollercoaster and I'll be relieved when it's all over but I can honestly say I will never forget this year. I don't think any of us will. Work is slowing down again so hopefully I can get writing again. The plan is to have my new Drastoria fic ready to go as an early holiday treat in December. Fingers crossed.
Stay safe.
Lots of love,

Hidden Child-Part 82:
Lucius and Narcissa hurried to their daughter's side and Helena hovered close by as she was probably the last person… being that Lyra would have seen so she wanted to be close by in order to try and calm the witch if she needed it.
"Mother…?" Lyra whispered as she turned and looked at her mother and Narcissa sat on the bed and rested Lyra's head on her lap.
"I'm here little star, so is your father," Narcissa said softly as she stroked her daughter's arm feeling how hot she was, "you gave us all another fright haven't you?" she said before helping Lyra to sit up and have some water.
"Helena…" Lyra spoke after she'd drank her water before feeling the ghost in front of her and she smiled weakly as she saw her before turning to the Headmaster as she felt Lucius sitting next to Narcissa, "what happened?" she asked.
"It appears that your memories are returning. Your wiped memories," Dumbledore explained, "we're as confused as you Lyra."
"But my memories are lost… aren't they?" she asked, confused as to why her memories could be coming back.
"There is one possible option…" Dumbledore said, "and that is the training has triggered something. If this is the case then we need to consider that the more training that is done the more that you will unlock and bring back."
"Is this seriously a possible option?" Lucius asked as he looked at the Headmaster.
"It is an option Lucius. If my theory is correct then the person who attacked Lyra wasn't the real Bellatrix then the spell wouldn't have been a proper spell on her. We all know Bellatrix doesn't miss. We should have picked up on it sooner. Had it not been for Lyra's memory beginning to come back then I wouldn't have even considered the fact that it wasn't Bellatrix."
"But how much do I remember?" Lyra asked and everyone turned to her. That was the one question that nobody could really answer except Lyra herself.
"That is something only you know for yourself Lyra and now is not the best time," Dumbledore said, "now really isn't the best time for you to even be thinking about that. You're feverish and feeling sick and need to rest. Once that is all under control we can then begin to figure out just how much you remember. What is important right now is that you get well."
"I can also monitor the situation but I must say that Draco and Astoria, Daphne, Zenon and Jasmine are brought up to speed with events," Snape said, "the five, along with Lyra, are such a close group and I think that they really should know so they know what to do."
"Yes," Lyra said before yawning once more as her eyes began to close and she was soon asleep again.
"What worries me are her shields," Dumbledore said, "they are low and it is only a shield over this room that is preventing her from being overwhelmed by memories. I also suspect her headaches have been caused by her shields dropping."
Lucius then rose from his seat on the bed so he could speak to Dumbledore as Madam Pomfrey moved towards it to attend to Lyra.
"She's so hot," Narcissa said, "this wasn't expected and certainly the last thing any of us expected to happen," she said.
The matron didn't respond but nodded as she began to work on getting Lyra's fever under control. Narcissa couldn't help but wonder how long Lyra had been having the more extreme flashbacks and her memories returning. She did know, however, that it was not the time to be wondering about that. What mattered was getting Lyra to a point where she could make sense of what was happening and give everyone the answers to the questions that needed answering.
Snape soon made his excuses as he needed to go and see Draco and the rest of the group and explain where Lyra was before Draco showed up. No doubt he'd heard the news that his parents were at the Castle had already reached him and, with his sister missing, he'd soon start asking questions and come looking. That was a situation that really needed to be avoided as nobody had the answers for Draco yet and Lucius and Narcissa were better placed to speak to Draco on that one.
Eventually the matron breathed a sigh of relief.
"I have managed to cool her down enough so that she can sleep and get the rest that she needs," she said before excusing herself.
"If Lyra's training is key to her memories returning then we need to keep that up no matter what," Lucius said as he looked at his daughter, "keep her out of school but she will need assessing and her training must carry on. We already know that some memories are back because she's remembering spell names and that is something that she couldn't remember before."
"She needs rest first," Narcissa said, her arms tightly around Lyra.
"Well obviously she does," Lucius said, "I meant when she is able to do things again. It could, of course, be possible that different parts of her brain are recovering quicker than other and I hope that is the case because it won't overwhelm her. That's what my main fear is now."
"That is also what we need to find out as well," Dumbledore said, "and the only way we can find that out is by training and asking her questions. I already know that you don't want her remembering when the Death Eaters were in the Manor but you both should prepare yourself that that is something that she may well remember in the end."
Lucius sighed. That was indeed the period of time that he wished his daughter would never remember but he nodded.
"Narcissa and I will figure out how we can explain that as and when the time comes. Hopefully those will be the last memories that she regains and that gives us a lot of time before we have to answer the questions" he said before looking over at his wife and wondered how much Lyra would remember and when. All he knew was Lyra's memories were coming back and he needed to be prepared for whatever that would mean and the questions that would need answering.
