Practically Tedious

A calm and simple Sunday morning. The birds were chirping and the streets were relatively quiet. Some were out on missions and some were just returning with little to no casualties. Children were jovial in the sidewalks and some genin were bustling looking for cats and dogs. Naruto yawned as he awoke from his sleep. He got up and went over to his small kitchen and spotted Hinata there. He smiled.

"Mornin'." He uttered out in a raspy voice. Hinata smiled over at him, adjusting her apron. "When did you get in?" He walked over to her and planted a lazy kiss on her cheek.

"Just now." She brought out some stuff for cooking, "Want breakfast?" Naruto yawned again and nodded. "Plans for today?"

Naruto shrugged and watched as she worked. "Kakashi-sensei said he wanted to see me later today. Something about watching him work."

Hinata smiled, "He's really serious about you becoming Hokage."

Naruto grinned, "It won't happen for a while, but just thinking about it is exciting, you know."

Hinata nodded and asked him to pass her a spatula, he did as told. "Nothing other than that?" Naruto shook his head. He walked behind her and wrapped his arms around her waist. He hummed.

"Today, we can just relax and be," Hinata giggled a little when he kissed her neck.

"Practically tedious."
