FINALLY! I'M BACK! Sorry it took so long. I was busy with college and other fanfics.

Warning: Still contains with violence and gore

Red landed on the beach of Piggy Island. It hurts a little when there's no landing spot, but he didn't care. He meant to hurt himself when he landed on the beach for what he did to Aggie. Her blood is still on his wings. Red couldn't believe he had done that…, killing Aggie and leaving her to bleed. Now that he realized it, he wished he hadn't left her to bleed a die. He should've helped her.

He couldn't stare at his bloody hands much longer, not even when the blood was drying up. He dipped his wings in the sea water, and let the blood wash away from his wings and flowing into the water. After a minute, Red pulled his wings out, they are clean and yet, but he's still guilty for what he did and shed a tear.

"Hey," He heard a voice and startled as he turned to see three piglets, "Are you… Mr. Red… the hero from Bird Island?" Sophie asked.

"Umm… yes," Red replied, wiping his tear.

"What are you doing here all by yourself, Mr. Red?" Oliver inquired.

"And why are you crying?" Isla questioned.

"I… well, I…" Red can't tell the piglets the truth. They're too young to understand about… killing and stuff.

"Don't worry, we'll cheer you up," Isla said as she and her fellow piglets grabbed Red's wing and dragged him with them.

"Yeah, we'll take you to our king. You guys are best of friends anyway." Oliver added.

Red doesn't want to protest with these cute little piglets as he decided to come along with them.

Outside the castle, Leonard was signing a contract with Courtney besides him, still typing something on her phone, and Garry drank a coffee next to him.

The king then noticed a red bird being dragged by three piglets. He recognized that bird, and shouted happily, "Red! Well, look at you! I thought I'm supposed to be visiting you, but instead, you're visiting me! So, what may I owe you the pleasure?"

Red looked down and frowned, not wanting to make eye contact with him, but he has to let it out of his chest soon, "Leonard, I… I did something dumb."

Leonard, Courtney and Garry glanced at each other in confusion as they decided to discuss it privately.

Moments later, they took Red inside the castle in the throne room as he explained… everything.

"YOU WHAT?!" The three pigs exclaimed in shock so loudly.

"How could you do this, Red?!" Leonard has his voice broken from the shout.

"Yeah, I thought you love Aggie, and…, well…" Courtney pointed out.

"I don't know what happened, okay?!" Red cried out, breaking his silence of regret, "She was just there, taking me back, and then I killed her! I didn't even help her when she cried out for me."

"And you tried to avoid all of this because of a nightmare?!" Garry spoke like it's a ridiculous reason.

"But it happened anyway!" the red bird screamed, feeling denied and regretting the same time. He wanted to deny his own actions, but the way he hurt his love, there's the regret, "Guys, I can't go home to face my consequences yet. Can I stay here for a while?"

Leonard looked up and thought about it, "Hmm, as long as the birds couldn't track you here, I guess you can. I have a guest room for you. Come this way."

Leonard guided Red down the hall with Courtney and Garry behind them. Leonard opened a door, and Red walked inside.

"Wow," He looked around. The room is small, good for one quest. There was a bed, a lamp, and bathroom door, and a window, "Simple, but feels like home."

"You can stay here as long as you want, until… if you're ready to… you know," Leonard said, but avoiding to mention his case.

"Thank you, Leonard. How could I repay you?" Red asked.

"Oh, no need to pay me. We're friends now. But you can pay me if… you know."

"I know. Don't worry, I wouldn't be long."

Leonard nodded as he closed the door, leaving Red alone. When the pigs left, Red sat on the bed and started to cry. He hung his head down, letting her tears drop on the floor. Then he looked up and stared at the window, imagining Aggie would hear him.

"Oh, Aggie, I'm very very sorry. I don't know what came over me," He snuffed, "I'm so sorry."

Back in Bird Island, Chuck, Bomb and Silver were talking to the doctor who performed a surgery to remove the knife from Aggie's chest.

"How was Aggie, Doc?" Bomb asked in worry.

The doctor cleared his throat, "Ms. Aggie is fine. Luckily, the knife didn't hit her heart, but she lost a lot of blood. So, she needs a long rest, but she can go back home. As long she takes a long rest, she'll be fine."

"Oh, that's great news," Silver sighed in relief.

"May we see her, doc?" Chuck inquired.

"Of course. She's still awake anyway."

After the doctor agreed, the three birds ran down the hallway to find Aggie's room. It's not so far as they found Aggie sitting on her bed, but facing away from the door and staring blankly at the wall. Her body was wrapped with bandages, and there were blood stains on her chest.

"Aggie, are you gonna be okay?" Chuck started first, but Aggie didn't answer him. She's still staring at the wall like a statue.

"The doctor said you'll be okay," Bomb added, but his cousin still didn't respond.

"Well, if you're ready to leave, the doctor said it's okay for you to leave," Silver told her.

Aggie is still in silence, refusing to look at her friends and show her face.

"We'll… see you later then." Bomb said before he, Chuck and Silver walked away from the door.

Aggie still stared at the wall, not because she was traumatized, it's because her thoughts were scrambling. She kept remembering what Red did to her, and how she ended up in Bird Island Hospital. The pain and the stabs, she can still feel them. She thought giving Red another chance is a wrong idea…, but she was wrong. She thought things will start again between them, but this kind of thing happens all over again.

"Why, Red? Why?" She whispered while crying. But then, Aggie remembered how she killed Red with her own wings and with a knife. She can see now that everything reflects between her and Red. She killed him before, now it's his turn, "I guess I deserved it anyway."

The next day, at Piggy Island, Red is still laying on his bed. He hasn't been sleeping all night, thinking about Aggie and what he did to her. He realized he was hiding away from his crime, and he wanted to go back to Bird Island to see if Aggie is okay. He had a lot of thoughts in his head last night, thinking if he should surrender sooner or later.

That does it!

Red groaned as he jumped off of bed, and marched out of his room.

Red made it to the throne room where Leonard is sitting on his throne. He was startled when the red bird entered without alerting him.

"Leonard," Red took a deep breath and exhaled, "I couldn't live with this guilt any longer. I think I'm ready to pay the consequences."

Leonard looked so worried for Red. He knew that Red's actions against Aggie was a crime, but the pig never thought he'd just surrender so soon, "Well, it took you a day, but… We'll send you back to Bird Island."

Red nodded, ready to pay the prize of his crime.

At Bird Island, the birds were gossiping about Red's crime the other day. Then, a hatchling noticed something from the ocean.

"Look!"

A ship sailed towards the beach. The birds and eagles gathered around to see what's going on. When the ship landed on the shore, the door ramp opened, and revealed Red with Leonard, Courtney, Garry and a few pigs behind him.

The ramp then dragged Red and Leonard down as Red was still frowning down. He couldn't make eye contact with his fellow birds, who were staring horribly at him. They probably heard what happened yesterday.

"Mr. Red!" Judge Peckinpah walked forward through the crowd in front of Red. The judge glared at the red bird at first before sighing, "I… I don't want to get angry at you, but…Is it true?"

He should've known Peckinpah finds out soon. Guess there's no way of denying it, Red sighed and confessed, "Yes. It was me," He heard the crowd gasped in shock. He can also hear that some birds theorized that it was maybe an accident, but Red has the courage to face his fellow birds, and confessed again, "And it was no accident."

Another gasped from the crowd. The gasps went back to gossip. Some bird parents held their hatchlings closer and protectively. Red didn't blame became a murderer and parents are afraid to have their hatchlings killed.

Judge Peckinpah sighed as he didn't want to do this to a hero, but he had to follow the law, "I'm afraid I have no choice, Mr. Red. You're under arrest."

Red nodded lightly as he raised his fisted wings on the front, ready for his arrest. Peckinpah sadly nodded to Officer Bill Beakins, who took out the handcuffs, and put them around Red's writs together.. Red didn't care if he was arrested. It doesn't matter anyway. All that matters to him is he faced his consequence and if Aggie is okay. When Beakins took Red away, the birds and eagles moved aside to give them a way.

Before they headed into the village, Red noticed Chuck, Bomb and Silver to his right and told them, "If you see Aggie, tell her I'm sorry," he proceeded walking with Beakins.

Chuck, Bomb and Silver glanced at each other sadly. They see how Red still loves Aggie, no matter what happened between them.

Red was now in his jail cell, alone. He's so quiet and lonely. It's like he's back being a hermit of the village, like he used to be. He had his head hanging down sadly since he got here. Tears rolling down his beak and dropping on the floor.

Suddenly, Beakins opened the jail door and said, "You're free to go, Mr. Red,"

"What?!" He was shocked. He was only here for a few hours, and now he's free? How could this happen? When Beakins left, Chuck, Bomb and Silver arrived. Red was a little angry as he guessed they're the ones who freed him, "Guys, you bailed me out?!"

The three birds were silent as they were ashamed to tell red the truth

"Um, Red… You were bailed, but not by us," Chuck confessed.

Red's anger faded as he asked, "Then…, who?"

Silver answered, "Someone who loves you."

Red gasped and stared blankly as he realized who exactly bailed him out, "Aggie!" With nothing left to lose, Red ran out of his cell as quickly as possible to find Aggie, and his friends moved aside to avoid getting hit by him.

The next night, Red was close to the beach. He tried to find Aggie all day, but she was nowhere in sight.

But then, he found her standing with her back facing him.

"Aggie! I've been looking everywhere for you!" He panted.

"Red. You found me," Aggie said, emotionless.

"Aggie I … I can't believe you bailed me out… after what I did," Red recalled.

"Of course I do. What kind of bird would I be if I let you rot in jail?" Aggie still won't turn around to face Red.

"Right. But Aggie, about what I did…"

"You don't need to explain that, Red. I get it,"

"You do?"

"Yes. And I understand now," Aggie finally turned around to face Red, but in her wing was a gun and she pointed it on him, much to Red's shock as he backed away a little, "The reason I bailed you out it's because I want you to suffer more than just rotting in jail."

Red held both his wings up and slowly backed away, "Aggie, please, you have to believe me, I never meant to kill you."

Aggie shouted in anger, "I almost died because of you! And I wanted your help, but you didn't help me! I cried for your help, but instead, you left me to die! I can't believe you, Red! You're such a coward to ever help me when I need you. It happened all over again, you left me when I needed you… again! How could you ever deserve to live if you kept doing this to me all over again?!"

While still hanging his wings up, Red wanted to protest, but he realized he was right. Ever since he broke Aggie's hurt, he did nothing but hurt Aggie, even if it was just accidents or purposely. No matter how hard he tried to make things better, he made things worse. As long as he lived, Aggie still ended up getting hurt… by him.

"You're right, Aggie," Red shook down his head and put his wings down, "I don't deserve this kind of life if I kept hurting you. You're part of my life, and I hurt that part of me. I almost killed you and left you to die. And if this punishment makes you happy, then…" He raised her wings again, but this time, he raised them half way and aside, "Do it."

Aggie's eyes widened, "What?"

"Do it, Aggie. You can kill me. You can still get hurt as long as I live. I don't deserve you, Aggie, because you deserve better than me… than all of this. So, it's okay. Just end this, but I want you to know that…" Red then started to cry. It may hurt if she kills him again, but this is the only way to end this pain for both of them, "I love you, no matter what."

Aggie shed a tear as she pointed a gun at Red. She was about to pull a trigger, but seeing him waiting to end his life for her, Aggie remembered all the good times with him, and she realized when he died…, she's now unsure if her life will go back to normal. Her wings started shaking, doubting if she decided to pull the trigger. Red is still waiting for her to shoot as he shed a tear.

Aggie then started to cry and came to her senses that… she can't kill Red, "I CAN'T DO IT!" She threw the gun away, and shot laser eyes to destroy it. Red's eyes snapped open when he heard Aggie's cry and saw how she destroyed the gun into ashes, "WHY DO I EVER WANT TO KILL YOU WHEN I STILL HAVE FEELINGS FOR YOU?!" She looked away and cried. She couldn't believe she tried to kill the love of her life, and she felt so ashamed.

Seeing Aggie sad again, Red couldn't help but wanting to comfort her as he reached for her, "Aggie, I…"

"NO! DON'T TOUCH ME!" Aggie slapped his wing away angrily but tearfully at the same time, "I wanted you to suffer, but I can't… because I… I…" She looked back at him with an angrily tearful face, "I can't do this anymore, Red. I gave you another chance…, and you blew it! I thought giving you a chance would take my pain away…, but it brought me more pain. I couldn't do this anymore, Red. I don't want to get hurt, I don't want you to get hurt."

"What are you saying?" Red asked with tears formed again in his eyes. He knew what Aggie meant to say, but it was something more than his thoughts

Aggie sighed and confessed, "Let's… not stay friends, Red."

Red gasped at this new decision she made. Staying break up is one thing, but not friends anymore… it's worse, "But… but Aggie…"

"No, Red! I can't take it anymore! Breaking up is not enough. We… we can't stay friends… if we keep hurting each other like this!"

"Aggie?"

"I'm sorry," Aggie spread her eagle wings at her back and flew away.

"Aggie! Aggie, please wait!" Red chased her off. He ran as fast as he could to catch up with her, wanting to make things right for the both of them.

But suddenly, Red tripped on a rock and right knee fell on another rock, causing the bones to crack as he heard the sound of his cracking bones.

"AACK!" He yelped in pain as he sat and bent his right knee upwards. He saw there was a small open wound on his knee and he hugged his leg in pain.

Aggie stopped when she heard Red's pain cry. She turned around and saw him hugging his knee. She figured he must have fallen down and his knee hit a rock. She wanted to comfort him, but she can still feel her breaking heart after what Red did to her. She still wanted to help him. She waved her wing with sparkles surrounding her fingers before flying away.

When Red continued to hug his leg, he could see that his wound began to slowly close and could feel the pain of his knee beginning to fade. When he put his leg down, he moved it and there was no pain at all. It was like it magically healed. Red knew this magic came from Aggie since she's the only one with magic around here. He realized she did this and she still loves him. But he couldn't take back the pain he gave her as he looked up to watch Aggie flying back to the Eagle residence.

"Oh, Aggie," He started to cry again, "I'm so sorry!" He couldn't move from his spot. He buried his face on his knees, and kept on crying.

Aggie flew back to Mighty eagle's house, but she took her bedroom window instead of the front door so her extended family won't notice her cry. She dropped herself on the bed and cried. She dumped her face on the pillow and cried as loud and hard as she could. She couldn't believe she attempted to kill Red, the one who broke her heart and almost killed her. But why is she still in love with him? She couldn't bear to see Red surrendering herself to her and wanting to give up his own life for her. She kept remembering how sorry Red is and she didn't even try to forgive him again. She couldn't even believe she told him she doesn't want to be friends anymore. She didn't want this to happen, but the pain is still there. Her life became more and more miserable than she thought. She thought that it's for the best for her and Red… to stay away from each other, despite that they are still teammates, she would rather avoid seeing him for a while. She kept crying until her tears ran out. She lost a lot of blood since yesterday's incident as she felt weak and fell asleep.

Back with Red, he gathered up big leaves, and placed them on the sand. This is the same spot where his house used to be, and where his friendship with Aggie developed. This is the most memorable time of his life: bonded the love of his life. But that memory was only a memory. He won't take things back to the way they were.

When he laid down on the giant leaves as his bed, he could see the memories of how he and Aggie bonded as good friends for the first time. This beach is also where they usually used to date. Those were the good times. But now, they won't have to do those things again. Red covered himself with a blanket made out of leaves so he won't feel cold. It's getting chili on the beach tonight, but Red didn't care. The cold didn't bother him at all. The only thing that bothered him was his friendship with Aggie is gone. He shed a tear before closing his eyes and falling to sleep.

Red suddenly woke up, but not on his leafy bed anymore. He was clinging on the wall with his wings and feet were tied up by metal cuffs. He tried to pull his wings off, but the cuffs were held so tight, "What happened?" Then, he noticed in front of him, a few feet away, was Aggie, sitting helplessly on the floor, "Aggie?"

Aggie woke up to her senses as well as she discovered she was on the floor and her wings were tied together by a tight rope. She wiggled herself to break free, but the ropes were really tight. She saw Red clinging helplessly on the wall.

"Red? What's going on?" She asked, feeling afraid.

"I-I don't know," Red stammered. He tried to figure out what's going on, but neither of them know what happened before that.

"Welcome to the center of your worst nightmare!" a voice was heard. That familiar voice.

Aggie recognized that voice… sounded pretty like her own voice, but more sinister.

That when her dark version appeared between her and Red, landed on her feet, "Surprise!"

Aggie formed an icy glare at her dark self, "Dark Aggie! What are you doing here? I thought I got rid of you."

Dark Aggie chuckled, "That's what you think. I was waiting for the right time to show my partner,"

"What partner?" Red inquired, demanding an answer.

That was until there was another dark figure appearing from the shadow just to his left. It was a bird with darker red messy feathers, wearing spiked bracelets, and has a scar on his left eye. It was a dark version of Red.

"Me!" Dark Red snickered sinisterly

Red's eyes widened and gasped. He saw his dark alter-ego, but he shook his head in denial, "Oh no! No, it can't be! I don't have a dark side!"

"Now you do since this girl rejected you, no matter how hard you tried to take her back," Dark Red smirked, pointing at a regretful Aggie.

"No! I would never turn evil because of that!" Red shouted in denial.

"But she did, and now it's your turn!"

"I'm not gonna let you hurt her!"

"Oh really? And how are you going to stop me when you're still trapped?" Dark Red approached besides a helpless Aggie with Dark Aggie moving aside to let her partner torture he good ego, "Oh, Red, you were blinded by love that you don't know the consequences." He then roughly pulled her hair upwards as Aggie yelped in pain, "This girl does nothing to you but hurting you and causing you too much trouble!"

Red shook his head and scowled ,"No, that's not true!"

"Isn't it?" Dark Red then recalled the mistakes Aggie made to him, "Oh Red, she broke up with you for saving the universe, too slow to take you back, you're dating someone else."

"That's not even…"

"And you never noticed how hurt and jealous she is. The next thing you know is she tried to kill you. Oh Red, you deserve better than her, better to live your life than spending the rest of your life loving this traitor!"

Dark Red then pulled out a knife from his back, and pointed the sharp tip near her chest.

Red became angrier and growled at his dark ego, "Don't you dare hurt her! Or I'll… I'll…"

"You're gonna what? Hurt me, kill me? Don't forget this, Red, I'm you. And I know you won't hurt yourself," Dark Red pointed, but Red is still denying about having a dark ego. He wanted to believe he has no dark ego because of Aggie rejecting him again and again, "We should've finished the job when you had the chance," Dark Red reminded Red about the day he stabbed Aggie, but stopped himself from killing her further. "Oh wait, we can!"

As quick as a lightning, Dark Red stabbed Aggie through her chest, causing the blood to flow out.

"AAAAHHH!" Aggie shouted in pain. She felt her chest was burning 3rd degree and the knife might have touched her heart. She wanted to help her chest, but her wings were tied up.

"NNOOOOOOOOOO!" Red cried as he helplessly and forcibly watched aggie getting murdered by her dark ego.

Though it's just one stab, the knife did stab through Aggie's heart as Dark Red redrew the knife from her chest, bringing her heart along with it, still beating.

"No! What have you done?!" Red cried out helplessly.

Dark Red then approached Red with Aggie's heart around the knife, "Finishing our job! Getting rid of this girl out of our lives!"

"Give it back to her, please!" Red begged.

"I'm sorry, I can't. You can," Dark Red dropped the knife with Aggie's heart on the floor, which Aggie felt a little pain there.

Dark Red then nodded to Dark Aggie, which means it's time for her to let Red go. She pulled the lever on the machine, releasing Red from the cuffs, he fell down with the Aggie's stabbed heart in front of his face. He quickly pulled the heart from the knife, and ran towards a suffering Aggie.

"Aggie! Aggie, hold on, okay? Just hold on!" Red quickly untied Aggie's wings from the rope as he tried to put her heart back into her chest, but, just like in his previous nightmare, he couldn't. He raised his angry face up, and turned to Dark Aggie, who was slouching on the wall, "Where is he?!"

"Where's who?" Dark Aggie questioned.

"Your partner!" the red bird screamed angrily.

"Oh, him," Dark Aggie chuckled evilly, "I thought you already figured it out."

"I'll make him pay! He killed her!"

"It wasn't him who killed her. Well, technically it was him, but don't you remember what he said? He's you. And you know what that means?"

When Dark Aggie explained the theory, Red then looked down on his wings that, while still holding Aggie's heart, he noticed his wing held the same knife that Dark Red used to stab Aggie. His wings and whole body were covered with Aggie's blood. Like what Dark Red and Dark Aggie told him, he and his alter-ego are one person, which can only mean… Red was the one who did all of this all along.

Red looked down at Aggie, whose face showed to be feeling betrayed and hurt… again, "No. No, Aggie, I… I didn't mean to! I mean, it wasn't me! I swear." He wanted to comfort her, but he saw how hurt she already had been.

"Face it, Red. You did all of this. Just like Aggie did the same to you," Dark Aggie flew around the two, then thought of something, "Hmm. Well, it wouldn't be so far if she's the only one dying here."

"What-?" Red doesn't know what Dark Aggie means, until he felt a sharp pain on his chest.

Like how her dark ego took control of her, Aggie drew her own knife through Red's chest, possibly hitting his heart as well.

Red looked down and panted. He saw how Aggie's own wing stabbed him with the knife. He looked back at Aggie, and saw a sudden guilt and regret on her face.

"I'm sorry!" Aggie cried out loud. She didn't mean to kill him again, but she's not in control when her dark version took over her again, but just a brief time. But it was too late. Aggie did it again, but she didn't let go of the knife this time. She doesn't want Red to think that she doesn't care if she leaves the knife there, "I'm sorry, Red. I'm so sorry!"

Red didn't know what to react to. He already got stabbed before, and it's not a surprise at all. He exhaled the air he gathered for his lungs as he wrapped her wings around an injured Aggie, which confused her, "I don't care anymore. I don't care you killed me, Aggie. I deserved this, and you… you don't."

Aggie then started to cry more, not in pain, but in guilt that Red blamed himself for all of this. But Aggie herself did the same thing and she blamed herself too, "I do deserve this, Red. It's my fault," she hugged him back.

"At least…, we'll die together," Red hugged her a little tighter as he closed his eyes, ready to feel dying.

Aggie did the same, closing her eyes while shedding a tear, and ready to die with the love of her life.

Red and Aggie woke up from a very horrible nightmare. The two had the same nightmare without knowing one has the same. They both panted after seeing that horrible nightmare, and their foreheads were all sweating. They even checked their chests to see if their hearts are still beating. Everything's okay now, but the nightmare will never be forgotten. Both Red and Aggie realized if they're still close together, they'll end up hurting and killing each other. Both of them now realized that they weren't meant to be together since they first met. They shouldn't be together. It wasn't meant to be. But they can't help but have feelings for each other that they should avoid thinking about it from now on. Keeping each other safe is more important than loving each till death.

The next morning, Chuck, Bomb, Silver and the Eagle family were having breakfast in front of Early Bird's restaurant.

Their conversation interrupted when they noticed Aggie walking down the street, and Red was at the other side of the street, just coming out from his house.

When they encountered each other, just 6 feet away, Aggie just looked away from Red before getting into an awkward eye contact and decided to move on.

Red just watched Aggie walking away from him while looking away. He hung his head down sadly and tried to move on.

Seeing that Red and Aggie aren't getting better but getting worse, Chuck has enough of this. The more he sees Red and Aggie growing apart from each other, the guiltier he felt. He took out the I team communicator, and called one of the two second-in-commands.

"Skenda, we need to meet. The whole team," he suggested.

All members of the I Team (except Fancy Pants) went to Bird Island and had their meeting down at the I Team HQ under Red's house, but they never told Red and Aggie. It's a secret meeting. They even included Leonard, Courtney, Garry, and the Eagle Family. Despite that they didn't do much wrong with Aggie, the pigs are "so-called" witnesses when they saw Aggie's glitches back when they were on the mission

"This is gone too far! Red and Aggie are now avoiding each other… for real this time," Chuck started, throwing the photos of Red and Aggie from this morning.

"They're even farther from each other now." Bomb added.

"Ugh, aren't you the ones who are responsible for this?" Rebecca pointed.

"Rebecca!" Her mother snapped.

"Mom, just admit it. There's no way Dad and Aunt Aggie are going to be together again," Roy sounded he's giving up to get his father and godmother back together again. Then started to point fingers at Silver, "All thanks to her and her diabolical genius plan for breaking them up!"

"Hey, I never plan to break them up!" Silver yelled back at the mature hatchling.

"Okay, you two, stop!" Matilda scowled, "Can't you see we have to do something and figure things out why this is all happening to Red and Aggie!"

"Do you think there's a pattern here?" Stella thought

"What do you mean?" Tom (Tom & Jerry) asked.

"I mean, there was a day Aggie refused to come out of her room, then it was Red, and then now, they tried to avoid each other," the pink bird explained.

"Hmm, do you think it was a coincidence?" Azul (Combo Niños) guessed.

Dr. Blest (Penguins of Madagascar/OC) shook her head, "There was never a coincidence when it comes to a broken heart."

"I think you're right about that. Something fishy's going on," SmurfWillow (Smurfs) agreed.

"Hey, what are those?" Baby Melissa (Baby Looney Tunes) noticed something on Red and Aggie's photos.

"What are what?" Kelda (Penguins of Madagascar/OC) asked.

The I Team gathered around to see what the duckling found.

As a member of the Super Sleuths, Pooh took out his magnifying glass, and pointed the lens on the photos.

There they saw two metal dots on their necks.

"Hey, something's on their necks!" Tenz (Looney Tunes/OC) said

"What do you think they are?" Fletcher (A.N.T. Farm) questioned.

"I don't know, but I think we need the real ones so I can see what they are," Kowalski (Penguins of Madagascar) suggested.

Later in the afternoon, Chuck hid on bushes and he looked for Red. He jumped from one bush to another like a super spy.

Finally, he found him sitting alone on the bench as he ran to sit beside his best friend, "Hey, Red!"

Red was a little startled when his best friend appeared out of nowhere, "Hi Chuck," He's tone was downright deadpan.

Chuck then noticed the small dot on Red's neck, just like in the photo. All he has to do is to get it without getting Red to suspect a thing, "Brr! It's cold out here, huh? Maybe let me wrap you up to keep you warm," he wrapped his wing around Red's neck, which his fingers can reach the dot and pulled it quickly

"Hey!" Red shoved Chuck's wing off of him before things could get awkward.

"Oh, never mind. It's warmer anyway. Gotta go, see ya!" Finally, he got the dot as Chuck quickly ran off.

When he left, Red arched an eyebrow and looked suspicious at Chuck's action, "Hmm? What's up with him?"

Meanwhile, Courtney searched for Aggie and found her eating ice cream near the Town Center. Despite not being a member of the I team, Courtney was assigned to get the small dot from Aggie's neck so she won't get suspicious if one of her close friends would be the one to do it.

"Aggie, my pal!" Courtney greeted her casually.

"Hi Courtney!" Aggie greeted her back happily.

"Say, what's that over there?" the female pig pointed something at Aggie.

"Where?" she asked.

"Oh it's just… right… over…" When Courtney kept on pointing, Aggie lowered herself to let the pig point for her. This is her chance to get that small dot as Courtney swiftly removed the small dot from Aggie's neck, and quickly kept it hidden in her pocket, "Oop! Got it! It's just dirt. Well, I'll see you around," She quickly ran off as Aggie watched her go suspiciously.

Chuck and Courtney went back to the I Team HQ and placed the small dot on the table.

Kowalski placed a magnifying glass over the two dots so the rest of the team could see them.

"Obviously this is some sort of telepathic bug with a neuro frequency amplifier. That's likely how to control dreams," Twilight (My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic) stated.

"You mean, Red and Aggie had been acting differently with each other… because they have bad dreams about each other?" Timmy (Fairly OddParents) guessed.

"It must be it. And because of the guilt and betrayal, the dreams are related to their real-life situation," Jet (The Nightmare Before Christmas/OC) concluded.

"But who could've done this?" Bubs (Powerpuff girls/OC) squeaked.

"Hmm, I know this is not one of our inventions. If it is, I can detect our finger… or other prints on it. But none of our prints match here. This invention was created outside of our team," Sherlock Gnomes said.

The I team then stared at the geniuses outside of the team.

"I swear I'm not doing this," Silver swore.

"Neither do I," Garry admitted.

"I didn't do it either," Zeta added.

"We know, we know…," Oliver Oken (Hannah Montana) then glared up, figuring out who caused this mess, "But I'm pretty sure I know who is."

In the human world, Denzel was in his garage sitting near a machine, and watching Red and Aggie feeling so miserable remembering their nightmare about killing each other.

"My plan is about to reach new heights," Denzel chuckled evilly.

Suddenly, someone knocked on his garage door. He left his chair, and looked through the door viewer to see who's at the door.

But before Denzel can check, his door got kicked open, sending the door to crash on Denzel.

The I Team, the pigs and eagles were the ones who kicked Denzel's door open as they prepared to beat him up.

After hours of interrogating, the I Team finally managed to make Denzel tell the truth about his plans of making Red and Aggie suffer from nightmares.

"Okay, I admit. I'm the one who's controlling their dreams. But that's for not helping me get down from Hero Mountain," Denzel made his defense.

"That's because you're a jerk and you're careless for opening a portal in the wrong place!" Wanda (Fairly OddParents) snapped.

The I team then looked at the machine that Denzel used to make nightmares on Red and Aggie.

"So that's how you can turn dreams into nightmares," Dr. Blowhole (Penguins of Madagascar) said, then saw the dream meter that said from left to right "Paradise", "Good", "Normal", "Bad" and "Nightmare". The arrow pointed on "Nightmare", "And you overdone it." the dolphin continued his sentence.

"We have to change their nightmares back to good dreams again," Cubry (Jake and the Neverland Pirates/OC) suggested.

"How about we can turn it here?" Bugs (Looney Tunes) then turned the knob that the arrow pointed to "Paradise."

"Whoa!" the rest of the I Team exclaimed, stopping Bugs from turning the knob further.

"That's too much. We don't want their good dreams to become… intimate," Junior (Storks) shuddered.

"Ugh!" The rest of the team groaned in disgust when they imagined it.

"Let's just lessen the intimacy to a normal good dream," Joey (Oggy and the cockroaches) said as he hoped to the knob, and turned it to "Good" dream level.

"All we have to do now is to put these bugs back to them," Tinkerbell said.

"I got an idea," Skipper handed the bugs to himself.

"But what are we going to do with him? "Cot (Kid vs Kat/OC) pointed at Denzel, who was still tied to a chair.

"We'll Keep an eye on him while you guys go on your dream mission," Nurse Shawna (Penguins of Madagascar) told the penguins and the guardian penguins, which they saluted in return.

The penguins went back to Bird Island, and found Red sipping some orange juice as Rico blew the bug from his hollow stick, and the bug stuck on Red's neck.

Red felt a tiny sting on his neck, but he ignored it.

The penguins then made their high-five style.

Meanwhile, the guardianpenguins found Aggie, playing ball on the beach as Renda used a straw to blow the bug and it stuck on Aggie's neck.

Aggie felt a small sting, but decided to ignore it as she proceeded playing her ball.

The girls high-fived at each other, and Prenda took out the communicator, "Okay. They're both in."

"Excellent," Yin (YinYangYo) received the message back in Aggie's home world where the rest of the team kept an eye on Denzel, "Now, let the dreams begin tonight!"

Late at night, when everybody went to sleep, Red, who was back in his house, and Aggie went to sleep, and slowly began to dream again.

Red walked on the field where green grass waves by the soft wind and sun shined above him. Then, he noticed from afar was another bird which he was familiar with. It was Aggie.

Aggie was also lost somewhere in a field of green grass, until she found Red from afar.

"Red?"

"Aggie?"

The two looked at each other for a moment. They feared that must be another nightmare that they might kill each other. But… They still have feelings for each other, and they just bottled them up just to keep them safe from each other. They couldn't fight this feeling anymore as they missed each other so badly. They started to run towards each other and hugged tightly.

Red and Aggie rested under a tree where they spent their time together alone.

"I missed you so much!" Aggie started talking while her eyes formed some tears.

"I missed you too," Red replied, cuddling Aggie, "Though we always saw each other and we tried to avoid each other because… we don't want to get hurt, but… I really missed you."

"I missed being close to you, Red," the sparrow smiled, "I wish we can go back to the way they were."

"Me too." the red cardinal bird agreed.

The two spent happy fun times together like skipping along the field of grass, catching butterflies, and picking flowers for each other. At the final part, they slowly leaned to each other's face and kissed for the first time since their break up.

Red and Aggie slowly woke up from the same dream on their beds. They frowned for waking up too soon. They wished they never woke up from their dream as they realized, in reality, they are still guilty for hurting each other. The only thing they could do was to wish they could go back to where they used to be together.

The next day, Chuck, bomb and Silver were drinking their morning coffee, until they noticed Red and Aggie about to cross paths. Red was at his side of the street of his house while Aggie was at the other side.

After that dream she has, Aggie realized she missed seeing Red as she took a small glance at him. Red then noticed Aggie, staring at him eye-to-eye. They kept staring at each other for a minute before Aggie slightly waved a wing at him. Red was a little shocked that Aggie waved at him. Not wanting to ignore her, he slightly waved a well. Neither of them smiled, but at least they're interacting with each other again.

After that, Aggie walked away, looking away from Red again. While watching aggie, Red realized how much he missed Aggie, and he knew she missed him. He just kept on hoping they will be together again.

After watching the two former love birds slightly interacting with each other, the three birds gasped for what just happened.

"We did it! Bomb squealed happily, "They are starting to respond with each other."

"Do you think those dreams work?" Silver inquired.

"I hope so, sis. I hope so," Chuck answered. He just hoped that everything would be fine again. He can't get over the guilt, and now he wanted it to go away.

Well, I'm finally done with this chapter! This chapter was supposed to be posted in the beginning of November, but I was a little late. I hope you'll understand. Thank you so much for waiting.

Another crossover chapter, and it is reveal it was Denzel who made Red and Aggie's nightmares these past 2 chapters.

And look at that, I posted it before Thanksgiving. Happy Thanksgiving to you, guys. Don't watch turkeys who were being slaughtered like in this chapter.
