The morning sun lighted the grassy plains which paved the path from the mountains to the West coast. A calm autumn wind rustled the plants and filled the air with refreshing vitality. It was as if nature itself was oblivious to the confrontation which was to follow and simply carried on with its duties, as uncaring as life itself. Hajime and his two companions slowly headed towards their final destination, having started their journey on foot in the middle of the night. While the blond was mostly silent and led the way, Jack and Lori would occasionally make small talk in order to pass the time. His bitter introverted self had resurfaced after the previous night's revelations, and they could not blame him for it. He had been deceived into thinking he had a genuine relationship with what was basically a demon masquerading as a priestess. What made it worse was the fact that she was merely using them to defeat Shishima and her feelings were anything but genuine. Usually Lori would have made a snarky comment to mock Hajime and hopefully make him man up, but in that situation she understood his pain all too well. If anyone was at fault, it was definitely Sayo for giving him false expectations.

As soon as they saw the sea and beach appear in the horizon, they noticed that there were also military vehicles parked in the area. As they approached, they saw strange computers and radio equipment being moved around, antennas monitoring the space they occupied. Men donning white lab coats were working on the computers, while others dressed in military uniforms guarded them, armed with laser guns.

"Hey, you three, this is an off-limits area, you have no permission to be here!" a soldier shouted as he noticed the youths approach.

"Sir, I am sorry for the bother, but we have come here with the same goal of finding Sagakin," Hajime explained.

"Say, are you not one of the two survivors who managed to escape?" asked one of the scientists, looking away from his computer screen.

"I am. Listen, I know what happened on that night. A barrier had been raised around the city and I believe that it is currently isolating it from us. We have to find this barrier and break it if we wish to bring back Sagakin."

Another soldier laughed in his face. "That's a nice little story you get there, kid! Now listen, this isn't some kind of theater where you can pull off crazy kabuki stories, so run along and let the grownups do their work."

"I am sorry, but he is right," a firm woman's voice spoke from behind the trio and everyone turned to see the disgraced priestess light a candle next to a small cup of salt. "I will prove his claims true and show you a glimpse of what has happened to Sagakin."

Hajime and his friends coldly stared at her in silence as the soldiers and scientists murmured among themselves. Sayo ignored their reactions and clasped her arms, concentrating her full focus on the task at hand. Uttering an old prayer as quickly as her tongue allowed it, her facial expressions going from calm to tense to downright stressed, as she was basically trying to at least temporarily break the demonic spell which had entrapped the disappeared city.

All of a sudden, a circular portal appeared in front of them, large enough for one person to walk through. Beyond it, they could see the darkened buildings of Sagakin, lit only by an ominous red sky. The scientists stared in awe while the soldiers tightened the grips on their guns. Hajime, Jack and Lori were also in disbelief that she had actually managed to provide them a gateway, however small, to their destination.

"This portal will not last for long, I urge you three to get inside now!" Sayo explained while packing her items in the travel bag, and the youngsters did as told, immediately rushing in.

"Wait!" one of the soldiers shouted and pointed a gun at the black-haired woman. "I don't know what kind of hokey trick you've pulled, but you are under arrest!"

"Please forgive my rudeness, but they need my aid in their quest for the city's liberation."

"You're not going anywhere until you answer our questions! If you value your life, drop the bag and put your hands in the air!" the same soldier added, his finger on the trigger.

"If we do not return within twenty four hours, please gather all of your military forces and prepare for the worst. Today might be humanity's last stand."

With those parting words said, Sayo jumped at inhuman speed right into the portal, which immediately closed before any laser could follow.

Panic filled Demon Subaru's heart while landing on the roof of the city hall. He had searched high and low, far and wide, he looked through every corner of Sagakin, there was no sign whatsoever of Bochiborof. What could have happened? Where could have the plushie disappeared? If he could not find his minion before the time of the ritual came, then he would have to postpone his plans, to the disappointment of both his loyal cultists and his mortal playmates. Just like with Nekohana, there was no way he would allow himself to achieve the desired status of godhood without his most loyal minion standing by his side to bask in that unique and glorious moment. After all of their hardships and good times, he owed at least that much to the purple wolf. There had to be a way to find him. Not wasting any time, he waved his hand and made two dueling tables rise from the concrete, after which he produced two decks from his pocket. If need be, he would even simulate a duel with himself in the hopes of summoning his minion.

The city of Sagakin looked like a place right out of a terrible nightmare. The air was suffocating and filled with the stench of death. Countless corpses littered the streets, mangled and with looks of utter despair on their faces. Jack had to suppress the urge to vomit, while Lori tried thinking of something nice, anything to help her cope with the current predicament she was facing. Hajime, however, had expected those sights, for he had gotten well-versed in his enemy's aesthetics.

"What in actual tarnation has happened here?" the incredulous cowboy asked.

"It's Shishima's corrupting influence. If we want this place to revert to the way we knew it, we have to deal with him once and for all," his rich friend replied, as determined as ever.

The sound of wooden sandals colliding with the asphalt alerted them and they turned to see Sayo dusting her kimono as the portal behind closed.

"You've got some nerve coming all the way here!" Lori snapped.

"Hell yeah, did you think we'd just take you back after what you did to poor Hajime?" added Jack, as furious as his girlfriend.

"Listen, I know that my apologies will mean nothing to you, but without my help you would have never managed to enter Sagakin on your own," the priestess explained in a calm manner.

"Oh wow, do you expect a medal for your brave actions?" the redhead mocked her in response.

"Just because you've helped us a couple of times, that doesn't mean we'll trust you again after what you've pulled with my friend here!" the cowboy insisted.

"The bottom line is, Sayo or Nekohana or however you want to be called, I want nothing to do with you after all of your lies. You better leave now, if you know what's good for you!" Hajime threatened, ready to take out his deck.

Sayo stared at them, a hint of regret in her brown eyes. She sighed and raised the travel bag over her shoulder, saying, "As long as we share the same goal of defeating Shishima, I promise I will not stand in your way. However, I will still offer my aid in my own way, whether you like it or not."

Out of the bloom, she jumped into a tree, then another and another until she was out of their sight. As they watched her go, Jack placed a comforting hand on his friend's shoulder and asked, "Are you alright, partner?"

"I'll be fine." Hajime nodded. "We should stay united, that way it will be harder for him to break our spirit."

"Where do you think we'll find the freak?" asked Lori as she scanned the surrounding buildings.

"The last time I had faced him was on the college campus. That was also where he had raised the barrier as we were running away. I have a sneaking suspicion that his hideout might be there."

Thus the three youths set off on their long walk towards the University of Sagakin. Unbeknownst to them, Sayo was following from a distance, jumping from tree to tree, and using her powers over plants to stop the knife-wielding cultists who hid at every corner by impaling them with branches. It was an unorthodox method, but as the saying went, desperate times required desperate measures. In the end, if they somehow managed to put an end to Shishima's madness, she did not care if they showed her any gratitude or not.

Meanwhile atop the city hall's roof, Demon Subaru focused hard in the match to summon his minion. The past three attempts had only brought copies of the creature, but not the exact being he needed. His mind fully focused only on thoughts of the loyal servant, he tapped five mana and placed the card in the battle zone, loudly declaring:

"I summon Bochiborof, Aloof Fighter!"

This time nothing happened. No creature appeared, maybe he was on the right track. Or had their connection been severed? But how was it possible? He had managed to easily summon copy Bochiborofs in previous duels without any issue whatsoever. Did fate start playing a cruel joke on him in the dawn of his ultimate victory?

Immediately he was struck by the realization of how much that plushie actually meant to him. After his return and their reunion, they had both struggled together in the slums of Sagakin, and Bochiborof always followed his orders without any question, getting visibly worried every time the master showed health problems and making sure he was fed well during moments of weakness. Even after he had regained his strength, Demon Subaru kept receiving constant visits from him, always concerned about his well-being. Just like Nekohana, Bochiborof did not serve him out of fear or personal ambition, his loyalty was genuine. Only when he was gone did the hooded one realize he no longer viewed him as a disposable pawn, but as a close confidant and maybe even... friend.

"How does the feeling of despair taste, Shishima?" Sayo's words echoed in his mind.

The answer was that it tasted bitter, very bitter. Without the plushie by his side, everything was not as fun, even if he were to achieve godhood. What a twisted sense of irony! He, the daiyoukai prince capable of the impossible, could simply not find it in himself to move forward without either Nekohana or Bochiborof. But why was that? He had once sworn that he would never again cultivate bonds with others, as they were a weakness that could easily be exploited against him. Yet in that case he could not view said bonds as weaknesses. Her love and his support provided a strange warmth which he did not even know he desired. In the end, that made Demon Subaru more determined than ever to recover the purple wolf, no matter the cost.

Back on the street, tensions kept rising as Hajime and his friends resumed their journey. The fact that they encountered no obstacle whatsoever, no maddened human or malicious demon to threaten their lives, only made their anxiety grow. It was the long calm before the storm. Jack and Lori were on high alert, looking around for any signs of danger. Only when they passed by the city's historic catholic church did the girl break the silence between them and asked:

"Guys, look over there, what is that?" She pointed to the highest tower of the Gothic building where they saw a corpse hanging from a rope tied around its waist.

Hajime immediately noticed a familiar red dress which was darkened by bloodstains and also the dead body's long gray hair. With a pained sigh, he informed them, "Those are my grandmother's remains. That sick fuck most likely put them there to toy with me, but I refuse to fall for his cheap tricks! We will recover her dead body after we defeat Shishima. Now let's keep go-"

"Wait, partner, I can see my grandma!" Jack exclaimed as they all noticed the figure of an old woman wearing a cowboy hat, a brown leather jacket and a pair of jeans stand by the cathedral's entrance and wave at them.

"Jack, that's most likely an illusion, don't g-" Before Hajime could finish the warning, his Texan friend already rushed towards the church. "Jack, no!"

"Jack, get back here, listen to blondie!" Lori shouted and ran after her boyfriend.

The old woman retreated in the church as the cowboy entered. Before his girlfriend could do the same, the doors were closed shut, locking her outside.

"Fuck, it's a trap!" she spat while fruitlessly struggling to open the doors.

"Quick, let's look around, maybe we'll find another entrance!" Hajime urged her and they ran around the building, but much to their disappointment, they saw that the stained glass windows, although broken, had been barricaded with planks of wood.

Inside, Jack was downright petrified to see that his grandmother had been reduced to a bloodied decaying corpse, and from behind Shinobu was moving her around. With sadistic glee, she greeted, "Welcome back to the Spawns of Shishima, Jack Thornton! Now, how about you give your sweet grandma a hug, you cowardly traitor?"

"N-no, i-it can't be..." he barely muttered. "G-granny is... d-dead?"

"Oh, but of course!" The robed girl threw the cadaver aside as if it were a garbage bag. "She was foolish enough to leave her country's safety to reunite with her old friends and pay you a visit. When she came to Sagakin, she made the mistake of snooping around and stumbled upon my master. From thereon, her fate had been sealed."

"No..."

"Yes, Jack, she had been dead for over a week and you were none the wiser! I am sure that if he is generous enough, Lord Shishima will personally tell you how she was during the last moments of her pathetic life." Shinobu smiled widely as she saw the broken and defeated Jack fall on his knees, tears streaming down his cheeks. "This is the price you must pay for betraying the Spawns of Shishima!" She calmly took slow steps towards him, enjoying each moment of his crying. "Tell me, who was the idiot who sent you as a mole in my cult? Was it that privileged Hajime Shirayama? Your hotheaded girlfriend? Or did you actually consider yourself suited for the role?" No response came from the cowboy, who was staring at the floor, still sobbing. "When you are so scared and emotional, no wonder you ran to the police the very next day. I wouldn't ask you to spy on the Japanese government officials even if you came to me with credentials. You're obviously the weakest link and a shame to your cause, it will bring me great pleasure to see the likes of you wiped out of existence when the new world comes!"

It was at that point that Jack finally snapped. All of a sudden, he jumped back on his feet, taking her by surprise, and pulled out his deck, staring at her with determination in his green eyes.

"You can put me down all you want, but when you start shitting on a man's pride, that's when you've gone too far, you fucking lunatic!"

"Oh my, I didn't expect you to have it in you." Shinobu also fetched a deck out of her robes. "In the name of Shishima, I accept your challenge!"

Two dueling tables emerged from the floor between them. They both went and placed their decks on the tables, setting their cards. Five blue shields appeared above each, marking the beginning of their match.

"I cast Jojojo Jokers." Jack checked the top five cards of his deck and added Chocolate House to his hand, the rest going to the bottom of his deck.

"I summon Jenny, the Suicide Doll and destroy her to discard a card from your hand at random." A doll with white hair donning a dark red dress appeared and stabbed herself with a razor weapon, vanishing in an explosion and discarding Niyare Get, Zero Trick from Jack's hand.

"I summon Yattareman." A small purple humanoid with a yellow horn for a mouth and holding three small drums appeared by Jack's side.

"I cast Brain Touch and draw a card, after which I discard another card at random from your hand." Shinobu announced and was pleased to see Gayoushin also land in her opponent's graveyard. "There go both of your ways to draw cards. You are now at my mercy."

"Don't think I'm done just yet! Yattareman reduces the cost of all my Jokers by 1, so I summon Pali Nights by paying 2 mana." Another small humanoid dressed in an elegant white dancing suit and with a disco ball for its head appeared next to Yattareman. "With his effect, I put Gayoushin from my graveyard into my mana zone. Then I summon a second Yattareman, now all of my Jokers cost 2 mana less!"

"What good will that do you when you now have no cards left in your hand? Didn't think this through much, now did you?" Shinobu mocked him as she began her turn. "I summon Phal Pierro, Apocalyptic Guardian and destroy him to recover Brain Touch from my graveyard."

As Jack drew his next card, a triumphant smirk appeared on his face, thing which took his opponent by surprise.

"With the cost reduction from both my Yattaremans, I only return Pali Nights to my hand and summon Jhot Gun Joragon by paying 4 mana!" The disco dancer disappeared and in his place appeared a tall red dragon dressed in black leather pants, a black leather jacket, a red cowboy hat on his head and four guns coming out of his back. "I attack with Joragon, draw a card and discard Jobato De Runo. With Joragon's effect, I can use the come into play effect of the Jokers I discard, so I untap Joragon and double break your shields!"

"What the...?" Shinobu uttered as she saw the dragon fire shots from the guns on his back, taking down two of her shields. "You can actually have infinite attacks with that thing if you draw the right creatures to discard..."

"How's that for a 'weakest link', you fucking bitch? I attack with Joragon, draw and discard another Jobato De Runo. I untap Joragon and double break your shields again!"

The robed girl once more witnessed two of her shields shot down. But this time there would be an answer, as she took one of the cards she received and replied, "Shield trigger, I expand Cyberdice Vegas, Gambling Expert of D!" The entire surroundings morphed into those of a casino with slot machines, roulette tables, a circle of playing cards and a blue dice floating in the center of the room.

"I attack with Joragon, draw a card... and discard Pali Nights, which sends Jobato De Runo from my graveyard to my mana zone," Jack stated with disappointment in his voice. "Joragon, break her final shield!"

"Denjara Switch, I turn Cyberdice Vegas upside down and cast Hyperspatial Gallows Hole! With its effect I send a Yattareman back to your hand and bring out Black Ganveet, Temporal Soldier, who will destroy your tapped Joragon!" A demonic knight riding a skeletal horse emerged from a hole in the ceiling and used its blue scythes to slice the cowboy dragon into pieces. "There go your infinite attacks."

"Yattareman, break her final shield!" The small humanoid started playing his drum and honking his horn mouth loudly, the cacophony of sounds shattering the remaining opposing shield.

"Shield trigger, I cast Team Acme's Evil Prison Go! Discard the last two cards from your hand!" Shinobu announced and she watched her opponent toss Yattareman and Jojojo Jokers into his graveyard. "And now my turn begins, since you have no cards in your hand, Black Ganveet awakens into Darkness Ganveet, the Assassin Awakened!" The demonic knight got surrounded by a purple aura and transformed into a winged skeletal demon wielding two blue swords. "I cast Hyperspatial Revive Hole and recover Phal Pierro from my graveyard. Then I bring out Victorious Gaial Kaiser!" A dragon donning red armor and wielding two flaming orange swords also descended from a hole in the ceiling. "And now, since their mana costs of 13 and 7 add to 20 – Super Infinite Evolution, I evolve Darkness Ganveet and Victorious Gaial Kaiser into Storm Genji Double Cross, the Super Temporal!" The two psychic creatures fused together and transformed into a giant red dragon with a long flowing blonde mane, donning a metallic red armor and wielding two sharp orange swords with blue X marks. "Storm Genji Double Cross, destroy Yattareman!" At her order, the dragon slashed the unsuspecting small humanoid into pieces. "I end my turn and draw a card from Cyberdice Vegas."

"I-I summon Chocolate House... and end." Jack concluded, only a small house made out of candy and with two big purple eyes appearing by his side.

"You're mine!" Shinobu declared, her psychotic smile stretched from ear to ear. "Meteorburn Awaken – I send Darkness Ganveet and Victorious Gaial Kaiser back to the hyperspatial zone and flip Storm Genji Double Cross into Last Storm Double Cross, the Super Awakened!" The dragon gave a mighty roar which shook the church and transformed into an even bigger dragon, donning a sharp metallic white armor and its two swords fused into one. "I expand another Cyberdice Vegas. Now I attack with Last Storm Double Cross and put all creatures from my hyperspatial zone into the battle zone!"

The cowboy took a step back as a large hole appeared in the ceiling and out of it seven creatures descended, those being Black Ganveet, Temporal Soldier, Diabolos Zeta, Temporal Ruler, Intense World! Shachihoko Kaiser, Volg Thunder, Victorious Gaial Kaiser, Victorious Prin Prin and Victorious Ryusei Kaiser.

"With Volg Thunder's effect I mill your deck until two creatures fall into your graveyard!" the girl announced and watched how Senno, Brainwash and Keshikasu, Vanish King went into her opponent's graveyard. "Victorious Prin Prin makes Chocolate House unable to attack or block until the start of my next turn. And now Victory Psychic Link – Gaial Kaiser, Prin Prin and Ryusei Kaiser unite into Gaial Ore Dragon, the Vainglory!" The purple-haired princess opened her umbrella and waved it above the red-armored and blue-armored dragons, the three of them fusing into a giant dragon which shone with the colors of the rainbow. "Last Storm Double Cross, break all of his shields!" Shinobu ordered and the creature slashed away all of Jack's shields with the giant sword. "From the look on your face, I take it you received no shield triggers." She delighted in the misery that her opponent once more languished. "Gaial Ore Dragon, todomeda!"

The Rainbow Command Dragon fired a multicolored beam from its mouth, blasting Jack right into the ritual circle of the sacrificial altar, leaving his skin and clothes slightly blackened by burns and rendering him unconscious. With their duel ended, the creatures disappeared and Shinobu packed her cards. Putting on her hood and pulling out her ritual knife, she headed towards her victim, eager to complete the payback for him ratting out the cult to the authorities.

"I can't believe Jack lost..." Lori whispered as she witnessed everything from behind the barricaded windows.

"Sayo, if you're around, please help us!" Hajime started shouting. "Shinobu's about to kill Jack, you have to do something!"

"Stand back!" her voice came from a nearby tree and the two did as told.

The priestess jumped and with a single kick, she managed to knock the front doors open. Not wasting any time, Lori rushed in to her boyfriend's aid.

"I am sorry I didn't come sooner, I was busy dispatching the cultists who are stalking you at every corner. They're armed and highly dangerous," Sayo explained.

"Listen, despite what I just said about you earlier, I must still thank you," Hajime said in an apologetic fashion.

"Stay out here and be vigilant. I promise I have your backs covered." With those parting words said, she jumped back into the tree.

Meanwhile, Lori ran behind Shinobu and performed a judo chop on the unsuspecting girl, knocking the knife out of her hand. Before she could take in what happened, the redhead knocked the blade away, under a bench.

"Who dares disrupt my ceremony?!" the hooded girl turned around. "Oh, just you. I should've expected that the traitor's lousy girlfriend would come to his aid."

"You lay a single finger on my boyfriend and I swear not even your demon boss will be able to find your pieces!" Lori threatened and immediately showed her deck.

"Hah, as if you have any chance against me!" Shinobu laughed in her face while taking out her deck once more. "The blessing of Shishima is upon me, there is no way I can lose today! But worry not, you can join him on the altar once all is said and done."

Both girls walked back to the dueling tables and placed their decks on them, setting their cards and beginning a new match.

"I summon Jenny, the Suicide Doll and destroy her." The white-haired doll appeared and stabbed herself with a razor, exploding and discarding Dondon Vacuuming Now from Lori's hand.

"I summon Onikamas, Strange Flow." A blue anthropomorphic fish wielding a golden trident and a golden sword appeared by the redhead's side.

"I cast Aquan Jr.'s Delivery." Shinobu revealed the top three cards of her deck: Troll, Graffiti Doll, Jenny, the Dismantling Doll and Hyperspatial Guard Hole, all of which went into her hand.

"Bad Action Dynamite Spell 2, I discard The Clock, Ragnarok to cast Big Bang Flare for 3 mana instead of 5! With this spell's effect, I bring out Crash Head, Victorious Dragon Armored from my hand! Then since I have only one card left in my hand - Master Gogogo Gangan Galaxy, I summon Gogogo Brand for no cost and I draw a card from his effect!" A muscular humanoid dressed in a black leather suit with a red cape, holding a red electric guitar and riding a golden tank with a dragon's skull appeared in the battle zone, followed by an ape in a blue and red robotic suit with rocket launchers on its back. "Both my creatures are speed attackers, so it's time for some attacks! Crash Head, double break her shields! Gogogo Brand, double break her shields!" Heeding her orders, the two creatures rushed through the opposing shields, taking down four of them.

"Shield trigger, I cast Team Tech's Wave Go! Onikamas goes back to your hand!" Shinobu announced and she sighed with relief when she saw the fish disappear.

"I end my turn and due to Big Bang Flare's effect, Crash Head is destroyed. Since he is tapped when he is destroyed, I gain an extra turn!" Lori grinned as the humanoid riding the golden tank vanished in an explosion. Her opponent clenched her fists and growled in frustration at the prospect of being rushed. "My turn again, I summon Shuff, Eureka and choose the number 7." The blue robot wearing a fancy suit appeared, shuffling a deck of playing cards. "Gogogo Brand, break her final shield!" The ape once more flew towards the opponent and tore through her remaining shield. Much to her chagrin, the shield was another Team Tech's Wave Go, which she could not cast because of Shuff. "And now it's your turn."

"Your worthless boyfriend tried to brainlessly rush me as well. It didn't work then and it certainly won't work now – I cast Oriotis Judge and send all creatures which cost equal or more to the number of cards in our mana zones to the bottom of our decks!" Shinobu said and watched how both robots were surrounded by white auras and vanished into thin air. "Now you have no cards in your hand and no creatures in the battle zone, let's see you make a comeback now!"

Lori drew her next card and burst into laughter. "Hahaha, so much for Shishima's blessing being upon you - I summon Goldoza, Gorigan Crusher!" A pink mouse piloting a red tank appeared in the battle zone. "Goldoza is a speed attacker, so it's time to finish this! Todomeda!" She ordered and the creature drove towards the robed girl.

"Ninja Strike 4, I summon Falconer, Lightfang Ninja and block!" A white plane-shaped creature appeared and took in the tank's attack, being crushed under its spiked golden wheels.

"Goldoza untaps after the first attack." Now it was Lori's turn to savor her opponent's disbelief and anger, and after everything her boyfriend had been through, she could not feel any better about it.

"Why are you smiling, you fucking cunt?" Shinobu growled, fuming at her humiliating loss. "This isn't over, I swear I'll slice your throat open and drink your blood in the name of-"

"Oh just shut up already!" the unimpressed Lori interrupted her. "Goldoza, todomeda!"

The mouse victoriously squeaked as he ran the head cultist over with his tank, throwing her into a wall and sealing his owner's victory. As the creature disappeared and Lori packed her cards, Hajime stepped in, looking around to ensure that everything was safe.

"I did it, I actually did it!" the redhead confessed, almost on the brink of tears herself.

"Congrats on the swift win. Now come on, we've got to get Jack out of this place," the blond urged and both of then ran to the altar.

Much to their relief, Jack still had his pulse, he was merely knocked unconscious. The duo picked him up along with his deck and slowly dragged him out of the desecrated church as they resumed their journey for the college campus.

Bochiborof awoke in a cage made of hard steel and was surprised to see that he was no longer in Sagakin. The last thing he remembered was the smell of burning flesh as he made a bonfire out of the bag containing Edo's and Rad's corpses, after which he saw a strange light suddenly appear and engulf him. Looking around, it seemed that he had been transported inside a palace made of crystal.

"Already awake?" asked an eerily familiar voice.

"Who said that?" The plushie looked around and was greeted by the sight of an angelic humanoid with long green hair, donning a white and golden armor, a golden helmet with a green visor covering the top of his head and a blue spear with angelic wings in his hand. "I don't believe it... Heaven's Rosia?"

"I go by just Rosia now. Welcome back to the creature world, Bochiborof. You have been transported all the way into the Light civilization, at the main headquarters of the Metallica. We have been watching your actions ever since you've returned to the human world. Our new government has ruled that you have committed countless crimes while there."

"You can take your rules and shove them where the sun don't shine! The Funky Knightmares don't care about what you decide is right or wrong, we just do what we want, whenever we want!"

"The entirety of the creature world has come to an agreement fifty years ago which states clearly that we will cease personally interfering in human affairs on Planet Earth. Even the Darkness civilization's new Mafi Gang ruling class has signed said agreement which you have been violating ever since you've rejoined forces with your demonic master."

"Oh yeah? Then what about Ov Sidia and Kirazeus Savark helping Hajime? You guys in the Light civilization are quick to point and condemn, but when it comes to your own faults, all of a sudden you're innocent and blameless. A bunch of hypocrites, that's what you are!"

"No, they have been aiding Tsugumi Shirayama's grandson because of Demon Subaru having an immense advantage over him. And it was only on two or three occasions, while you have been lending your aid to your master every single day since you have set foot once again on Earth."

"That's just petty bias, if you ask me!"

"I did not. There will be a trial where you will be judged for your crimes. If you are lucky, you might get away with just life in prison," Rosia coldly stated and turned his back on the prisoner, walking out of the room.

Stunned by the news, Bochiborof collapsed on his knees and stared into nothingness. Most likely he would end up guilty in the trial. Whether if he were to end up serving a life sentence in prison or be immediately executed, one thing was certain: he would never see Demon Subaru again, there would be no more fun times spent serving his master. Unable to bear the cruel reality, the purple wolf cried out to the ceiling:

"Shishima-sama, I beg of you, please save me, milord!"
