"I bet you're making up for lost time with lots of cuddles." Tori smiles.
"I've been trying to but she doesn't settle for me. This has been a rare time she's actually quiet." Kyle says.
"Yeah, it's going to be hard for a bit but you'll get there. It may not feel like it now, but that bond you both had is still there."
"Yeah, I hope so." Kyle lightly smiles.
"You've only had her back for what, two weeks?" Tori asks.
"Nearly." Kyle nods as Bianca walks through the door.
"Hey." She smiles. "Oh sorry, I wasn't aware you had visitors." She says.
"It's fine, you can come in." Kyle says, shaking his head at her with a smile.
"Well thank you Kyle." She chuckles, joining them on the couch. "And who is that gorgeous girl?"
"This is Grace." Tori smiles at her daughter.
"Bianca, this is Tori. Jasmine tried to do the same to Grace, but they managed to stop her. Tori, this is Bianca my sister in law." Kyle introduces.
"So Lillie wasn't the first baby they tried taking?" Bianca gasps.
"Yes, apart from they had connections with Grace, Ryan being her biological father through sperm donation. I can't understand why Lillie would have been a target for them." Tori says.
"I don't think anyone can understand it." Bianca says.
Meanwhile, Brax and Justin had gone outside to chat in private, not wanting their siblings to hear anything that would be said. They both wanted revenge for what happened to their nieces, and they would do anything to make sure Ryan and Jasmine Shaw got a very long sentence behind bars.
"What's being done about them so far?" Justin asks.
"Not a lot. Our lawyer called the other day and if they don't start talking, it could mean they don't go to prison for as long." Brax shakes his head, not knowing what to do about it.
"But they'll still go to prison?"
"Yeah, they've got other convictions against them. Right now they're only looking at 8 years. If they started telling the truth about taking Lillie, they could get around 10 years added, depending on how much our lawyer can blag it."
"What if there was a way to get them to admit to everything…" Justin trails off as he thinks to himself.
"And what would that be?" Brax asks.
"We work with the cops, get them to secretly record them with a wire or something. If we can just get them to admit it on tape, surely that would be enough evidence to get them convicted for longer." Justin says, noticing Brax think about it too.
"That could work." Brax mutters. "All we need is their confession, I doubt it would matter how we got it. They can't go near Kyle or Lillie again, I have to make sure of that."
"I'm the same with Tori and Grace." Justin nods.
"How long are you sticking around for?" Brax asks him.
"We only planned today as Tori struggled getting time off work." Justin says. "What're you thinking?"
"We get this sorted now." Brax says.
"Then lets go." Justin says.
"Oi Casey, did you change all the beach sessions over?" Heath frowns as he looks through the timetable.
"Yeah, I thought it would be easier having them at set times." Casey says as he walks over to the counter.
"You know that is a decision you're meant to run by me as well. We're both managers here." Heath huffs.
"Well Brax said it would be fine as long as we can still cover other sessions as well." Casey shrugs.
"Is Brax your co-manager?" Heath asks.
"No, he's the owner." Casey frowns.
"I don't care if he's the Queen, you had no right making big changes like that without asking me first!" Heath argues.
"What's got you in such a mood?" Casey frowns.
"You thinking you can make changes without consulting me when I was manager first!" Heath glares before walking into the office, slamming the door behind him.
"Everything okay?" Denny asks as she walks in, seeing the door slam.
"Just Heath being a child." Casey says, kissing her. "You on break?"
"Yep. I'm also covering some of Brax's shift as he said something had come up and Ricky took Emilia, Darcy and Harley to see Cheryl." Denny says.
"Oh, was that today?" Casey mutters, having meant to gone with her to help.
"Yep, and don't worry, she told me she'll kill you another day." Denny laughs.
"I was behind with paperwork here and completely lost track of everything." Casey says as he looks at his watch. "I finish soon so could meet her there. I'm sure mum is going to kill me as well." He rolls his eyes.
"Probably." Denny says.
"You said Brax had something come up?" Casey asks.
"Yeah, some visitors for Kyle came apparently. I think they were something to do with knowing the couple that took Lillie." Denny says.
"Right… Heath is going to lock himself in the office until the end of my shift, so I'm going to head off now and check in on them." Casey says.
"Okay, I'll see you later." Denny says, leaning up to kiss him.
"Well it was nice to meet you and Lillie, I just hope next time it will go just as well." Tori says.
"I'm sure it will." Justin says, giving Brax a brief glance, that doesn't go unnoticed by Bianca and Casey.
"Yeah, hopefully it will." Kyle nods.
"Well you have a safe journey home and we'll see you very soon. I'd love to have another catch up with you both next time." Bianca smiles.
"Yeah, maybe you could bring your kids as well." Tori smiles.
"Well Harley's at a very stubborn age, so I doubt it will be as peaceful as today." Bianca chuckles.
"Today was weirdly peaceful." Kyle says, glancing at Lillie, who was now in Casey's arms. "Anyway, we'll let you go."
"Bye." Tori waves with a smile as they walk off down the path to their car.
"Well they seem nice." Casey says, glancing at Brax.
"What?" Brax asks, noticing something else in his gaze.
"What was that between you and the guy?" He asks.
"Nothing." Brax shrugs.
"Where did you both disappear to?" Bianca asks.
"Nowhere." Brax says, facing Kyle. "It was good of you to give them a chance to talk."
"Yeah, I feel better after talking to them. Now I know I wasn't the only one they tried targeting, which isn't actually a good thing. At least they're both looking at years in prison." Kyle says.
"Both yours and Tori's statement's against them will help. The police have enough on them, its just getting them to talk." Brax says.
"You think they will before the trial?" Kyle asks.
"Yeah, no doubt about it." Brax says, glancing at Casey at he mutters something under his breathe.
"Time to go back to daddy." Casey says, handing Lillie over to Kyle.
"What, you've never smelt a dirty nappy?" Kyle scoffs.
"Not when I don't have to." Casey smirks as Kyle walks into the hallway. "Anyway, I told Ricky I'd meet her at mums, so I better go. See ya." He says, walking out.
"What was that really about with Tori's brother?" Bianca asks.
"Nothing." Brax shrugs, walking over to the table.
"I saw the look you gave each other. You better not have done anything to jeopardise this case for Kyle or Tori." Bianca sternly says.
"And who are you to talk to me like that?" Brax lightly glares her way.
"Kyle needs to know he doesn't have to look over his shoulder every time he leaves this house in fear of Lillie being taken again-"
"Not that it's any of your business what I get up to, we made a deal with the police to make sure Jasmine and Ryan confess to what they did to Kyle." Brax cuts her off. "I don't want Kyle involved because he's got enough on his plate at the moment. Does that make you happy, Bianca?"
"Right, I'm sorry. As long as this doesn't backfire, as Kyle is still in a rough headspace." Bianca mutters.
"That's why I don't want him involved." Brax says, walking into the flat.
