Close Watch pt. 2: Brianna's Threat:
After that Sunday of fun, which Loraina and Nicolette did get the recording of Kick saying he lost to Kendall, however he would only lose to her at dance, they decided to show it to Scarlet and Teena. That following week consisted of him not only having to deal with studying, finishing the vanity for his woodshop teacher, which didn't take too long for him, but also dealing with teasing from Scarlet, Teena, Loraina and Nicolette. He felt it was a long week.
He was able to turn in all of his assignments, which his teachers were exceptionally pleased about. They complimented his work, as it was finally turned in, completed, and for the first time done correctly. They were happy that working with Kendall was paying off as his work in class was also doing well. They expected him to keep up the work as he was doing so well and wanted him to keep working hard.
As the school week ended and knowing Kick worked so hard Kendall thought it best after the school day to study only for a few hours rather than how long they normally did. Plus with the fact Kick's English essay was finally done, and he only had a little bit left to do with his history project. He could use a small break, since they could do more work on the weekend.
The group walked out of school when the final bell rang. They headed to Kick's place as usual so Kendall could start Kick's tutoring. Before Mrs. Buttowski left for some errands, she made some sweets for them to enjoy as they did their work. Jackie even helped Gunther as Kick and Kendall worked together.
"This stuff seems to be getting a bit easier, the more we work with it." Gunther looked at the notes.
"Doesn't mean I like it anymore though." Kick commented. Kendall and Jackie giggled.
"You don't have to like it. Just have to try and understand it is all." Kendall assured.
"And trying not to get behind again." Jackie added. Both boys got sheepish with that. Brianna and Mouth snickered with that.
"Good luck with that. These two get distracted quite easily." Brianna pointed out. They gave her a look, which she just returned with a sly expression. Mouth laughed. "Anyway, I have a few things to do, I'll leave you two girls to take care of these boys, since they need to focus on their work." Brianna got up heading to the door, Mouth following.
"Where are you going Bri?" Kendall questioned. "Don't you have work to?"
"Chris and I have a date tomorrow, and there's something I kinda want to buy before we go on it, so I'm going to go on a few errands myself." She informed as Mouth waved walking out. "Plus unlike my unfocused brother and Gunther, I get work done early if not before important things." She added. "So I don't have to worry so much about studying since I did enough of that over the week, plus am pretty good on the grade front." Kick and Gunther rolled their eyes. 'This date better end with you and him at his place.' Kick shot. She gave him a look. 'I've dealt with your bullshit plenty, you will deal with mine.' She countered in her thoughts. He let out a grunt, which Gunther kind of knew why, and chuckled at. "Anyway have fun." She waved as she walked out. Kick just shook his head and banged it on the table again.
"You okay Kick." Jackie asked.
"I just don't want to be in the house tomorrow is all." He replied. Gunther gave him a look.
"Just come over, jeez." Gunther told him.
"Oh I will." Kick commented. The girls glanced at each other unsure of what was going on, but just shrugged it off, wanting to go back to helping the boys with their work.

Brianna walked out of the shop, proceeding to walk down the street, wanting to take the park's pathway home. She easily could have drove, but decided against it since she just wanted to walk. However, she found herself in an unpleasant situation when she encountered Clara. The two instantly glaring at each other.
"Brianna." She glared. Brianna stopped as the two were alone on the path, the wind blowing some leaves past, as the trees kept them shaded and guarded.
"What do you want Clara?" Brianna narrowed her eyes. "I don't have time to waste with you."
"You know you're breaking the rules." She folded her arms.
"We aren't breaking any rules." Brianna corrected her.
"Oh is that so?" Clara quirked an eyebrow. "Do explain to me how that even is possible given how close you and your friends are to those pathetic girls?" She countered. Brianna glared further with that insult aimed at her friends.
"They don't know about us." Brianna commented. "And they're not going to know. We're following the rules." Clara cocked her head slightly at that.
"You might keep it now, but can you truly keep it so long…especially being so close?" She questioned with a small smirk. Brianna kept her hard stare.
"You'll do best to keep this in mind Clara, so long as they don't know, we aren't breaking rules." Brianna's voice was harsh. "And we can be close to them without them ever knowing." She added. "Shame you have yet to realize that."
"It's not that it can't be realized, however, it's questionable." Clara argued with an intrigued pitch in her voice. Brianna just kept her hard glare. 'Why can't I read her mind?' She thought. 'But then again, I had trouble last time as well, somethings up…' Brianna folded her arms. "Especially since things could potentially grow on your brother's and Gunther's end, if you know what I mean..." Clara hinted. "Those two, though maybe not now, could lead to a situation, seeing as it seems they have this mentality." She continued.
"You don't have to concern yourself with my brother nor Gunther." Brianna warned.
"But you see, when it comes to the rules and these girls, that isn't true." Clara countered. "Things will be taken care of and you have to realize that." Brianna eyes turned into dangerous slits.
"Do anything and you will severely regret it." Brianna sneered. Clara snickered, which angered Brianna more.
"You have nerve you know." Another voice came out. Clara glancing.
"Well if it isn't Teena and Scarlet, shouldn't you two be out shopping or doing something utterly ridiculous?" Clara harshly stared at them. Tess following. "And look my traitorous cousin following the fray, how lovely?"
"You're outnumbered and outwitted here Clara." Tess spoke.
"Not to mention, this is getting old." Scarlet folded her arms. "No one is disobeying rules, so leave it alone." She also glared.
"You can't keep doing this." Teena added. "Brianna and them, know the rules just as well as you if not more, so leave it be." Clara rolled her eyes at their annoyance, letting out a few sounds of annoyed chuckles that sounded like huffs of air. Brianna glared more. 'Why can't I read her? Damnit.' Brianna was getting irritated. Clara glanced at her.
"Something wrong Brianna?" She was smug, which only pissed Brianna off more. "Maybe it's…..it's you can't read me, right?" She smirked. The other girls getting surprised. Brianna glared at that.
"What?" She wanted to know why.
"Oh don't worry it's not my doing." Clara chuckled. "Normally you or your brother be able to do so. Even your friend who sees futures would be able to predict my moves, however, let's just say things might not work out that way now." She informed.
"And why the hell is that?" Brianna questioned.
"I don't remember that being your ability." Teena narrowed her eyes.
"No, you're right, it's not." Clara responded. Scarlet kept her eyes on her.
"It's mine." Another person came forth as they were followed by another.
"Wondered when you show up?" Clara glanced back. "Was beginning to get worried." The others having mixed emotions about it. "Debbie glad you finally came." Clara had a smug smile. "Myra must you be on your phone again?" Myra didn't look up.
"Since when…" Scarlet began to ask.
"Doesn't matter." Debbie interrupted. "It's the point most of your mind abilities won't work, plus Loraina's. My, shall I call them, freeze abilities limit what you guys can do." She informed.
"Explains why you and Ronaldo got away with so much." Teena sneered. Debbie didn't argue. Clara snickered.
"Point is, you see that you can't read us." Clara spoke. "And you see we follow rules in the end." As she glanced at Debbie.
"I wouldn't say that's how it happened…" Debbie whispered, which Clara gave her a sharp look, causing her to go quiet. The others kept their hard stares at Clara.
"Make your point and leave Clara, you're wasting my time." Brianna told her. "And personally pissing me off." Clara had a devious laugh with that which angered Teena and Scarlet. Tess just getting irritated.
"Alright, fine." She had a small smug smirk. "You see now who we have on our side." She glanced at Debbie. "If you don't shape up with the…" She tapped her chin. "Potential problematic situation that could be had…" She hinted at. "Well I don't have to tell you what could happen." She smirked. Teena kept Scarlet in place. Brianna just narrowed her eyes further, then did a small chuckle herself, which confused Clara.
"Clara." Brianna spoke low, but loud enough for her to hear, as she walked forward, stopping only a few feet in front of her. "Watch who you threaten." Her stare was cold, that it sent a shiver down Clara's spine and made her step back, even Debbie was frightened. "Because you actually have no idea who you are dealing with." She continued. "Mess with our friends, and you're messing with our family, and that's a mistake you definitely don't want to make." She warned. "Don't forget that." As she walked past her. Clara gulped. Brianna glanced at Scarlet and Teena eyeing them to follow.
"This….this isn't over…" Clara whispered, as they left.
(**)
"Wait what happened?" Gunther questioned.
"Gunther." Teena gave him a look.
"I am worried about Jackie's safety, I'm allowed to ask what the hell Clara wants to do here." Gunther argued.
"Personally I'm worried about both of the girls' safety." Scarlet chimed in.
"Yes especially with those recent news reports, including last nights." Loraina came in, her arms folded. "Their linking those city attacks with the wild ones." She let out a breath.
"And it's not just blondes." Teena added.
"I know, that's another concerning factor." Brianna commented. "The fact it's brunettes as well."
"All of this is concerning." Kick stated. "However, what Clara is doing is something I almost personally want to deal with." He was getting irritable.
"Same." Gunther agreed.
"Point is we just have to be more vigilant, more careful." Brianna told them.
"How much more aware can we be, it's not like we can watch the girls 24/7 Brianna." Teena countered. "No offense to that."
"Not that we shouldn't watch them, but there has to be a better way." Scarlet mentioned.
"I am running out of ideas other than to closely watch them." Brianna said.
"Well there is something else to suggest…" Teena began.
"No." Kick instantly interrupted.
"I didn't even say it yet." She argued. Brianna rolled her eyes, knowing her brother to well.
"I know your thoughts Teena, we're not doing it, end of discussion." He responded. She shook her head.
"You are being stubborn and won't even think about it, neither of you will." She shot at them. Gunther now knowing what she was going to say.
"We're not going to change them nor bring them in this." Gunther told her. "This isn't an argument or discussion. It's not happening." Teena gave him a look.
"If you're not going to change them or even be honest and talk to them, you might as well not be with her." She fired back at him. He glared at her.
"Teena." Brianna glanced at her.
"No, if neither of them are going to be willing enough to discuss it or do anything about this, then they shouldn't be with them." She kept her glare with Gunther. "It's just makes you cowards, plus in the end you know it's just going to hurt them…it's just going to hurt Jackie, and that's bullshit to me." She folded her arms glancing away.
"You don't fucking understand anything." Gunther stated, as he also looked away.
"We don't want to hurt them or bring them into this world, so back off." Kick added. Scarlet rolled her eyes, shaking her head.
"Guess that means you guys are just going to give them up to others then right?" Scarlet questioned. Both narrowed their eyes at that, Kick especially. Brianna just sat back, watching to see how the conversation would go, Loraina as well.
"I said back off Scarlet." Kick warned.
"And I said, you better watch out to make sure no one else takes Kendall, and by the sound of it, seems she's interested in someone else and your ass is still doing nothing." Scarlet shot back. "Not that you really are showing her any real interest with your mixed signals, plus let's be honest here, you still won't trust her with this." She continued. "Neither of you do. Neither of you trust those girls with this, that's what this comes down to."
"Bullshit!" Both shot up, arguing back.
"Of course we trust them!" Gunther defended.
"How dare you say we don't?!" Kick added.
"Well you both sure as hell don't act like it." Teena came back in. "The way you both were and let's face it still kind of are with your fans, plus with this. Not wanting to bring them in." She countered. "That's what's bullshit?!" She pointed. The boys glanced away.
"You guys just don't get it." Gunther rolled his eyes.
"No I guess we don't." Teena folded her arms.
"Shame you both will never be with them the way you could if you actually did want to change them." Scarlet let out, both boys giving the girls annoyed looks.
"Um….I think…for now, the best option is to just stay close." Loraina came in, hoping to ease things. Brianna let out a breath.
"Agreed." She nodded, glancing at Gunther and her brother. "For now we'll just keep to what we have been doing and keep an eye." She informed.
"Sounds good." Loraina spoke.
"We need to just keep the girls safe." Teena and scarlet agreed, then they and Loraina went home. Brianna glancing back at Kick and Gunther, knowing they were still quiet from that argument. She wished them a good night as they stayed downstairs. It was a long night for them.
To be continued…
Thank you for reading and see you soon.
So a few chapters ago, I gave a few announcements and it was asked what happened my friends ex, and did she ever seek justice. I'm not sure why that is really important for you to know, however yes she did, which is how he became sober again because he went into a program (if that makes sense.) The sad thing is he is no longer here because of his past choices, and she actually hates that he isn't here anymore. But what I wasn't getting at isn't that abuse doesn't matter, it's that it's never excusable, and there will always be a consequence in the end. So rather than focus on my friend, who I just used as reference for those to understand, since these topics again are hard to grasp sometimes, just try to follow the story if you so choose. If not, again please find something that is more your liking as there is several (and I do mean several) other fanfictions out there.
Anyway other than that I think that's it.
Please keep safe.
