Aang woke us all up in the night screaming, causing everybody to yell in alarm before rushing over to find out what was wrong to find it was just a bad nightmare. I felt sorry for the kid, being unable to sleep and rest properly because he was so worried, but when he announced he was just going to stay awake until the invasion, we all shared worried glances. Katara tried to persuade him that he couldn't stay awake without proper rest as I circled around Aang then gripped onto his shoulder with my fingers, squeezing at a pressure point as he talked.

"I don't have a choice, I can't sleep because of the nightmares anyway and they just make me feel worse, so I…what are you doing Kayo? I fell kinda…" Trailing off as his entire body went lax I caught him when he dropped, everybody staring at me, gaping.

"What did you just do?!"

"Made him sleep. Don't worry, it's just a pressure touch, I learned it from my troupe masseuse. She taught me all about massages, pressure points, acupuncture and things like that. This should help let him rest as he shouldn't dream, so he'll feel better in the morning." I explained as I lifted him up and carried him over to sleep somewhere comfortable, everybody looking rather impressed.

"Can I book a massage for tomorrow? That sounds like something I need." Katara joked sleepily so I promised to give her the best treatment after I'd caught up on sleep. Aang did sleep for a couple hours more, but it didn't cure him entirely since he was still running on several days with very little rest and too much training. He even started hallucinating whilst awake, something about Appa and Momo getting into a fight with each other and dancing trees. It was weird. In the end Aang ran away to go jump into a cold waterfall, leaving the rest of us stunned.

"Guys, what happens to the world if the Avatar loses his marbles?" I asked worriedly as we all stared after the trail of dust Aang had left behind.

"We're doomed." Sokka smacked a hand to his face comically as a koala-sheep started to chew on his boot.

"There's got to be something we can do, right?" Katara asked, looking at Toph who shrugged unhelpfully.

"Don't look at me, I'm not exactly sugar and sweetness. Comforting people isn't what I do." Then they all looked at me.

"Well, what Aang needs right now is reassurance. Validation. We should probably tell him how we all believe in him and that we know he's ready. He's worrying over nothing, and he's not going in on this alone. We're here to support him, we know the plan is going to work and so on…you get me?" I listed off all the things Aang probably needed to hear as Sokka suddenly grabbed the koala-sheep that was still trying to eat his shoe.

"We can make a bed for him out of wool!" For a moment we all naturally went to disagree since Sokka's ideas weren't always that great, but actually, this one was pretty good. "If he has a comfortable place to sleep, then he'll sleep better."

"Guess we've got some sheering to do." Toph smirked, cracking her knuckles as the koala-sheep suddenly realised we were all looking at it. It bleated helplessly. Gathering up as many koala-sheep as we could herd, we sheered them of all the wool and piled it together to make a nice, fluffy bed, tested and tried by yours truly and passed as the most comfortable bed this world has ever seen, so when Aang came back, he blinked and rubbed his eyes in confusion when he saw it, poking at it suspiciously.

"Oh look, another hallucination. An imaginary bed made out of clouds."

"Hey! It's real. We spent hours working on it." Toph protested as Aang looked up to see all four of us gathered around.

"We made it for you." Sokka grinned before gesturing with a hand towards the now sheered koala-sheep who were shivering from their lack of wool. "A good night's sleep will probably take the crazy away. We hope."

"Look, you guys keep telling me I need to sleep, but I can't, the invasion's tomorrow." Katara started to speak but Aang shook his head determinedly. "No Katara, there's still so much I haven't learned. I don't need sleep. What I need is practice. Quick, hit me." Suddenly raising his hands he unsteadily faced Katara ready for a strike but she refused.

"I'm not going to hit you."

"You want me to do it?" Eyebrow twitching, I flicked Toph on the head for her insensitivity.

"Listen to me, you've been training for this since the day we've met. I've seen your progress. You're smart, brave, and strong enough." Katara spoke softly but with confidence as she held Aang's shoulders, making him turn to her questioningly.

"You really think so?"

"We all do." Sokka agreed, everybody chipping in with some positive reinforcement and encouragement. "You can do this. You're ready."

"You're the man twinkle-toes."

"And you won't be alone. We're all here for you, and we won't let you down." I finally added, reaching out to ruffle his fuzzy dark hair. "Nothing can stop us as long as we're together." Looking a little more relieved and reassured, Aang smiled at us all.

"Thanks guys." Unable to hold back a yawn, Aang started to look longingly at the wool bed which Katara led him over to. "You know what? I think I am ready." Glad to see him at peace, we all had a long, restful night with no early morning wakeup calls or screaming fits during the night. Finally.
