An: Hey All! I'm just saying not a lot of action, but its vital to the next steps in the story. Matonna scenes of course. So hopefully you guys will enjoy that. I'm just really into writing about them right now. Hopefully its not too much.
Creator of Magic: Don't worry, this is just a little rough patch in Ally and Derek. There is just some confused feelings there. Derek just wants to make sure Ally's there for him, not just as an escape from reality. She's been through a lot, but bridges will be built in the next two chapters. I'm really excited to write those.
Rewrite the Broken Story is just a few weeks after Legacy Day. In Broken Glass when the Evil Queen was killed her spell on Wonderland collapsed. That's why they know its her spirit that's back. The raven skull was hinted at a few times if you look back, but I wanted it to be a big reveal. I was thinking about how you said you didn't know what the white rose was. Well... that's going to be a big one. I think I touched on it a little before, but I don't expect you to remember every little detail. Thank you for all of your support!
Sky: Oh! I hope you feel better with your wisdom teeth. I think I'm going to start working on a prequal and publish it maybe all at once so you don't have to do much waiting. I was thinking just some one shots (Like 10-15). Or maybe a little more depth. I really don't know. What do you think?
Zahabiya: Its alright, I'm happy to receive your reviews anytime! Thank you for comparing my work to actual books! Its an honor to be given that sort of complement. Thank you for your support!
Sephiria Arks: Thank you so much! I'm glad it keeps you interested. Don't worry, our happily ever after will come soon enough. Matt and Donna are not going anywhere. They'll see the light at the end of the tunnel. Also I will check out your story soon. Lately I've been really busy but I promise I'll get to it!
PowPow456: I literally just got the notification for your review from Ch. 46. I'm sorry I didn't respond. But thank you so much for your praise! It means so much to me!
THANK YOU ALL FOR READING AND REVEIWING!

It was Sunday morning, and Donna was already nervous. What if they didn't find anything? Her nightmares consisted of a lifeless robot that look like herself. It was one of the worst pictures she had ever seen. Her only hope was in Matt. He had to find something. She knew he wouldn't give up until it was all over. She was sitting with her father on her hospital bed.
Saturday was uneventful. All they did was sit here in this room. Dexter had tried and tried to convince the doctors to call of the wipe, but they were fearing Donna's power growth. Dexter had given up before dinner. each meal was delivered to them. The doctors had even advised Donna's father to sit in a different room, but he wouldn't budge for anything. Donna was too happy about this.
"What if they don't come?" Donna asked quietly. Dexter's arm wrapped around his daughter's shoulders.
"They will," he hugged her. "Even if they don't they'll have to go through me first."
"Then they better hurry," Donna said suddenly. They both exchanged confused looks before they laughed together.
"You got me on that one," Dexter coughed a little. "I've always come third from Daring and Darling. Too bad they weren't here. Then they wouldn't get through to you." Donna was surprised her dad mentioned Darling.
The Charming family didn't speak much of her. Ever since the battle, Darling had come out as the white night. She was a legend in the poisoned Wonderland. Dexter's parents weren't all that thrilled with their son's girlfriends, and weren't very tolerant of Darling's secret either. There was some grey area that no one had spoke about. Donna only knew that Darling was dethatched from her life in Ever After. She went to Wonderland and never returned.
"I'm sure you'll do just as well," Donna nudge him. Dexter grinned. There was a sound of many footsteps. Dexter rose to his feet and faced the door. The window showed many figures running down the hall.
"Stay here," Dexter ordered Donna has he opened the door. Donna got to her feet anyway and ran to the door. She peered out the window to see the doctors were running down the hall. Her dad had stopped one and was talking to her. She only paused for a moment before she ran again. Donna felt her heart pound in her ears and a laugh echoing in the back of her mind.
It stopped when Dexter opened the door. "There's something going on," Dexter said quickly as he stepped in. "We can leave now while we still can." Donna smiled as she grabbed her backpack. She stuffed Matt's rabbit inside and zipped it up. Her phone was at the front desk. It had been confiscated for the lockdown. She would have to collect it.
"Dad I need to get my phone pronto," Donna said as she slung the bag over her shoulders after her jean jacket.
"We'll get it as soon as we get out of this room." Dexter looked in the hallway. They both ran out at their convenience. Finally, Donna was on her way to freedom.
As soon as Raven's transportation spell got them outside the hospital, Matt was already sprinting. His mother, Raven, and Ryder were all following close behind. They all ran through the lobby and up the stairs. They had to get there in time. It was Matt's only current mission in life. His mint green curls bounced in his face. He didn't even think to care about it. They were always in his face. He continued to run until a body smashed against his own.
At first, he felt his body tense. Then, Matt felt his heart release a cooling sensation. The pounding in his ears faded when he saw Donna holding onto him for balance. He held onto her arms tightly as she looked up at him and smiled. "You're here." Donna whispered. Matt felt his heart overflow with joy. He made it. He got Donna back. He would've kissed her in this moment of reunion, but then he heard Dexter's voice.
"Glad to see you," Dexter pulled in Raven for a hug.
"Why are you guys here and not in Donna's room?" Raven asked.
"Wonderland is under some sort of magic attack," Dexter explained.
"Fiddlesticks! Not again!" Maddie folded her arms. Matt looked to see Donna had gone pale. Her eyes seemed to be fixed on nothing but air. Her grip on his arm tightened quickly as she gasped. Matt studied her. Everyone's attention was on her.
"Donna?" Raven put a hand on her daughter's shoulder. Donna didn't move. Her grip only tightened on Matt's forearm. He lifted his free hand and brushed back Donna's bang. Her eyes suddenly landed on him.
"They're poisoning Wonderland again," Donna suddenly snapped back to herself. "I-I should've known. But what's in Wonderland?"
"The raven skull," Ryder explained. "Its what's hosting grandma's spirit." Matt watched Donna flinch at the word grandma. He was about to go on, but Donna held up a finger.
"They know I left. I can feel the feet upstairs. My senses are heightened somehow. We have to go now."
"But where?" asked Maddie.
"To get my phone, then to Wonderland." Donna nodded. She took both Matt and Raven's hand before running. The other three followed. When they got down to the lobby, security guards were already waiting for them. Everyone stopped in their tracks. Donna squeezed Matt's hand before letting go.
"What seems to be the problem?" Raven asked politely. "We were just on our way to check my daughter out."
"We're not letting her out," a guard folded his arms. "Especially now that Wonderland is cursed again."
"Then I guess we'll have to do this the hard way," Donna held out her hands. The guards flinched, but nothing had happened. The guards smiled and inched forward.
"Magic doesn't work here, girl."
"Or does it?" Donna smiled. She then brought her arms back. Her eyes glowed purple as fire licked the ground under the guard's boots. Briers came up through the floor. They weaved themselves in a neat ball around the guards. They had struggled, but the briers had closed them in. It reminded Matt of the sphere Briar had been put in during the memory of the final battle. Matt wondered how she had done it. Donna never used her magic like that. Well, not before the possession. Raven used her magic to seal the doors so no doctors or other guards could get in.
While Raven and Dexter went behind the desk to get Donna's phone, Matt noticed Donna hadn't moved. Her eyes here fixed on the brier spheres. Ryder was helping Maddie with some sort of map. Matt then turned to his girlfriend. "Hey, what's wrong?" He asked her quietly.
"I lost myself for a second," Donna stared blankly. "I wasn't me. I was her."
"No, you were just protecting yourself," Matt assured her. He was a little frightened at what she had said, but of course he would never tell her. Him being strong was what she needed. He knew that.
"I could just hear her echoing laugh in the back of my mind," Donna shook her head. "What if I go back under?" Before Matt had time to answer Raven and Dexter had returned with Donna's phone.
"Okay, that's one thing complete," Raven handed her the phone. "Now if Wonderland's poisoned how are we getting through?"
"With the Well of Wonder of course!" Maddie practically jumped when she exclaimed. Matt had only been told about the Well of Wonder. A magical well that moved everyday that was used as a secret passage to Wonderland. he never had to use it, and he was thankful. Hearing about the end of the well didn't seem all that fun. But preference of travel wasn't accounted for in situations like these.
"You still have a map?" Raven smiled as she asked this.
"Why wouldn't I?!" Maddie seemed excited.
Raven transported them into the Enchanted forest. Maddie and Raven looked over the map while Dexter and Ryder talked. Matt brushed himself off as he looked over to Donna. She was looking at the school. It was peaking up from above the tree line. She sighed. Matt thought of Ally. She must be wondering where they are. Donna played with her jacket on her wrist. Matt took the bracelet off of his wrist and placed it around her wrist. He took it from Ryder this morning.
She looked down at the purple bracelet on her wrist. His hand held her own. They interlocked fingers. A smile brushed her lips before she looked up at Matt. "Did I ever say hello?"
"I must've missed it," Matt shrugged before pulling her in closer to him. She giggled a little before they locked eyes. Their hands had let go of one another. Donna gripped the sides of Matt's unzipped jacket. When they filled the space between them, Matt tucked her bang behind her ear. "Hey." he said softly.
"Hi," Donna laughed a little. Matt cupped her cheek as he leaned closer. He could feel her breath on his lips. The heat radiating from their cheeks made it feel as if they were the only two people in the world. Donna's eyes began to flutter shut before they were wide open. She practically jumped away from Matt. The warmth faded away as soon as it came. "We're ready." Donna walked over to her mom. "I was just fixing the zipper on Matt's coat."
When Matt turned he found Raven's eyes on him. They were like daggers compared to Donna's soft violet eyes. He felt a wave of nerves drown him as he coughed. "Yeah, it works now." Matt zipped up his coat and smiled. He awkwardly gave a thumbs up. He didn't even look at Donna or Raven. His mom's unconvinced expression said it all. Matt scratched the back of his head as his cheeks began to heat up.
"Well the map says it should be on the west side of the forest today." Maddie changed the subject.
"I can transport us there," Raven nodded.
"Better not," Donna intervened. "The well could sense it and move. Its better just to walk. It shouldn't be that far." Raven nodded. Without another word, they all set off. The three girls stayed in the front, while the guys in the back. Maddie and Raven were the only ones talking in the whole group. Donna glanced back at Matt a couple times, only to turn away quickly.
Ryder laughed a little next to Matt. He looked at Ryder to see an amused expression on his face. "What's so funny?" Matt asked.
"You," Ryder laughed again. "And Donna."
"Hey," Matt elbowed Ryder. He winced in a slight pain.
"Come on," Dexter chimed in. "Did you really think you could hide it forever?" Matt's body tensed. Ryder's smile only grew.
"Uh.." Matt didn't know what to say to that.
"You should know you have to ask permission before dating my daughter," Dexter said in a stern voice. Matt was thankful Donna and Raven were out of earshot now. Matt didn't know what to do. His mind was already in a panic mode before Dexter looked at Ryder, and they both began to laugh. Matt let out the breath he had been holding. It was only a joke.
"I thought you were serious," Matt shook his head. The two only laughed harder.
"No," Dexter shook his head. "I knew she would find a boyfriend sooner rather than later. I just didn't expect it to be someone so close."
"You're telling me," Ryder shook his head. Matt didn't put his attention on Ryder, only Dexter. His heart was beating loudly in his chest. He was nervous about what he might say.
"Don't worry, Matthew," Dexter looked at him and grinned. "You're a good kid. Seeing you handle things during the possession I could tell how much you cared about her. My wife may not have saw it, but I did." Matt matched his expression and nodded.
"Although I think I would keep it from mom for just a little bit longer," Ryder whispered. Dexter nodded and laughed a little bit.
"She's just a little protective is all, but she'll come around," Dexter looked to Raven walking ahead of them. "She always does." Matt studied the look in Dexter's eyes. He could tell his love for Raven was real. That was the one thing the two had in common. They both admired those violet eyes.
"Hattastic!" Maddie exclaimed. "We made it!" Matt looked up to see Raven, Maddie, and Donna were pulling back bushes to reveal the Well of Wonder. It was a stout grey brick well that contained a rainbow liquid inside. Matt was amazed at the sight. He had seen drawings in books but it looked more magical in real life. The guys joined the girls and looked down into the well.
"I think I better go first," Raven looked down, then at Dexter.
"I'll go with you," Dexter smiled. Raven sighed and smile before taking her husband's hand. Together, they climbed to the top and jumped in. They disappeared into the rainbow water.
"My turn!" Maddie jumped up and did a canon ball down into the well. Ryder smiled and followed. All that was left was Matt and Donna. He look at her scared expression. Her face had gone pale again. he knew she was worrying.
"It'll be alright." He said calmly. He reached out to touch her, but she had already turned to face him. She grabbed him by his coat collar and pressed her lips against his. Matt was stunned at first, then melted into the kiss. He pulled her close to him. His cheeks burning. When she pulled back she kept her face close to his.
"As long as you stay with me," Donna whispered.
"Always," Matt whispered back. With another quick kiss, the two jumped into the well. Matt had lost his grip on Donna's hand on the way through the colorful mist. She heard him call out his came, and he answered to let her know he was there. Once the mist had diminished, he could see the others falling down the long well. Everything around them a a shade on deep purple.
He looked to Donna. She was beside him now. Donna squabbled around. She didn't seem used to the feeling of falling. He caught one of her flailing hands. Her violet eyes looked up at him and focused. After a moment, he pulled her into him and wrapped his arms around her. Donna unzipped Matt's coat and wrapped her arms around his middle over his sweatshirt. She buried her head into his chest. Pressing her ear against his heart. This was how they slept during those night in the dorms. Her hearing his heartbeat, and he resting his head on top of hers.
Matt watched as they continued to fall. Usually, there was more life in the well. He heard his mother tell about how the well would change your outfits to seem less plain and more Wonderland appropriate. Now, there was nothing but a freefall, but Matt wasn't disappointed. He just held Donna tighter up against his body. How he had missed her this past week. He didn't ever want to loose them again.
After a while, they were nearing the bottom. Matt kissed the top of Donna's forehead before letting her go. With a flick of her hand, Donna slowed their fall. They placed their feet on the ground. They were all standing around another Well of Wonder, accept this one was different. The skies weren't blue, but a nasty mix of pink, purple, and green. They made it to the other side.
Wonderland had been poisoned again. Matt gasped at the sight. Everything looked lifeless. This wasn't the Wonderland he remembered. It used to be filled with magic and craziness. He could feel tears beginning to fill his blue eyes. Maddie stood away from the group, looking at it all. Matt went up to his mother and placed a hand on her shoulder. She sniffled before hugging her son.
He embraced her for a moment before letting go. She wiped away her tears with her gloved hand. "I'm sorry." She said in a raspy voice. Dexter, Ryder, Raven, and Donna had all stayed silent. Until a shaky breath was let out. Matt watched his mother's eyes as they glanced over to the Charming-Queens.
"No Maddie," Raven stepped forward. "I'm sorry. This is all my mother's fault." The two friends embraced. Matt couldn't help but let his own tears fall down his cheeks. He hated seeing his home land like this. He felt Donna's hand slip into his and her cheek pressing against his shoulder. Her over hand rubbed his arm gently as he leaned his head against hers.
"Let's go to the White castle," Maddie concluded. "I need to see Wade. We'll be safe there." Matt liked hearing that word. Safe. Hand in hand with the girl he loved, Matt kept that word in his mind as they continued their journey through the poisoned Wonderland.
