"Then after I learned how camel dung doesn't taste like sweet hummus, I left the desert and came to the mountains around to try and find myself and to see if there was edible rocks." Kain said as he told his story to Bernard and Camilla as Abel continued to sit on his head.

"...He's been talking for three hours..." Bernard thought with a twitch in his eye as he continued to look at Kain continue to speak as Abel just sat and casually looked around at the guildhall. "Wonder how she's doi- oh yeah..." He thought as he shifted his eyes towards Camilla and noticed a peculiar sight.

Turning his head to the side, Bernard looked over and noticed Camilla had her head down on the table and was fast sleep, lightly snoring. Looking at her, Bernard proceeded to reach over with his hand towards her buttocks and pinched her rear, prompting her to wake up as she quickly sat up from the sudden sensation.

"Kiyah!" Camilla yelped in surprise as she reached her hand back towards where Bernard squeezed her, prompting Kain and Abel to suddenly look at the S-class wizard. "What was that for?!" She said with an annoyed tone towards her boyfriend.

"Catching "Z's" while we're still working is a no-no..." Bernard said with a tired tone as Camilla and Bernard looked at Abel and Kain. "Okay, Mr... "Hikaru," was it?" He asked as Kain nodded in response.

"And I'm Abel." Abel, the small clown child with the white doll said in response.

"We've been sitting here all the way to the evening. Look, a good amount of the guild has gone home already." Camilla said as she pointed behind Kain and Abel as they turned around.

With empty tables and chairs surrounding them, the Psycho Circus guild was predominantly empty, aside from Bernard and Camilla, with only a handful of acrobats and clowns sitting around at the far areas around the interview table.

"Not to sound offensive but are you both serious about wanting to join the guild?" Bernard asked with a serious tone as Kain begun to sweat profusely as his eyes darted left and right.

"Well... I uhhhhh... It's uhhhhh..." Kain mumbled as he rubbed the back of his head.

"Kain, what did I say about mumbling?" Abel said as he lifted up his white doll to a standing form and proceeded to twist the right leg on the doll in a circular motion. As he moved the doll, Kain suddenly stood up from his seat and begun to spin his right leg in a similar fashion to what Abel was doing with the doll.

"Gaaahhh! Stop it Abel! That hurts a lot!" Kain screamed as he continued to forcibly turn his leg in motions he hadn't intended to do.

"And they're doing it again..." Camilla whispered towards Bernard as he nodded at the bizarre behavior of the duo of Kain Hikaru and Abel.

"Excuse me, can you stop that for a minute?" Bernard asked as Abel stopped messing with his doll, allowing Kain to finally get control of his body once again. "Okay, we've been sitting here for hours and all we've gathered is that you." He said as he pointed at Kain. "You used to be a part of that dark guild, Grimoire Heart?" Bernard asked.

"Y-yes..." Kain replied with a nervous tone as Abel jumped down from the top of Kains head and sat in a stool next to the large man.

"Your old boss was killed and then the guild was dissolved and then you wound up wandering around for years... Eating things and not doing much else..." Bernard said with a judgmental tone.

"...Well... I learned that yeti meat tastes a bit like lamb..." Kain said, still nervous.

"Uh huh... And you used to have this little brown doll called "Mr. Cursey" that gave you control over peoples bodies when you had a piece of their hair to attach to it." Camilla explained as Kain nodded.

"I have the last one." Abel said as he lifted up his white doll, also named Mr. Cursey.

"If you had let me get more materials to make another, he wouldn't be the last Mr. Cursey!" Kain exclaimed in a complaining tone.

"No sass." Abel said with a smirk as he twisted the neck of the Mr. Cursey doll, causing Kain to twist his neck in pain.

"Blaaahhh!" Kain exclaimed in frustration as he clutched at his skull to stop it from turning violently.

"Hehe- hey!" Abel chuckled until Camilla suddenly took the doll out of his hand.

"Enough with the twisting, please?" Camilla asked as Abel tried to reach for Mr. Cursey as she raised it high enough for the child-like clown to fail to grab it back.

"Th-thank you..." Kain said as he rubbed the back of his neck.

"We got your story Kain, what about you?" Bernard said towards Abel as he stopped trying to reach for the doll.

"Well... I was a part of a cult called "Avatar" awhile ago. Our boss had me and a bunch of followers commit several crimes throughout Fiore." Abel explained. "We almost were about to sacrifice an entire town until a bunch of wizards beat up me and my allies when we tried to summon a Battlegod." He continued as Camilla and Bernard rolled their eyes.

"Okay, just gonna write that down... Another "former" psychopath..." Bernard said as he shook his head as he wrote on the papers in front of him.

"I spent some time in jail but because I'm a minor, they let me out earlier then some of my friends. After that, I looked around for Mr. Kain and we made a new Mr. Cursey for me." Abel said as he pointed at the Mr. Cursey doll in Camillas hand.

"And what did you do after you both got together and made that new doll?" Bernard questioned. "Expect the worst Bernard, you've already let in a former enemy of the state and a hired killer earlier today." He thought as he wondered what possibly terrible actions the two weirdos in front of him could have done.

"Then..." Kain said as he looked towards the ground.

'"Then?"' Camilla and Bernard said in unison.

"I took some of his hair and I started to make him do street performances." Abel said with a smile as Kains head slumped in defeat.

"...Huh?" Bernard muttered.

"He would use Mr. Cursey on me to make me do random stunts in the streets of small towns..." Kain said as he remembered what he used to do. "I would do contortionist twisting, let snakes bite me on parts of my body, stand for hours to the point my feet would blister..." He listed off.

"And I would use Mr. Cursey to help will him into making money for us both." Abel said as he pointed at Mr. Cursey.

"So... You were a busker?" Camilla asked.

"What's that? A type of chocolate?" Kain asked as he looked at Camilla.

"No, it's another term for a street performer." Bernard said. "...The kid can make it so the big guy can do whatever he wants through the doll. Could work as a stuntman..." He thought as he glanced at the doll.

"Okay. So that's what you both can do... But why do you want to join our guild?" Camilla asked.

"I figured Kain and Mr. Cursey would make a good addition to make us some money." Abel replied.

"All I want is some snacks..." Kain said as he shook. "I'm so hungry!" He exclaimed as he stood up from his stool as his scream echoed throughout the guildhall.

"Shut up!" Camilla angrily said as she took her barrier orbed fist and punched the obese pale man in his gut.

"Guh!" Kain grunted as he fell to his knees as Abel grabbed Mr. Cursey out of Camillas not barriered hand.

"We already had a bunch of glasses broken today from someone screaming, we don't need more!" Camilla shouted as Kain cowered in front of her before she turned towards Bernard. "What do you think? Should we let them in?" She asked.

"...You know what, fine..." Bernard said as he shrugged his shoulders, prompting Kain and Abel to look up at him with surprise. "We have enough weirdos in this guild, what's a few more? Plus I want to get this done as quickly as possible." He thought as he stood up. "Welcome to the guild Kain and Abel." Bernard said as he looked at them.

"Yahoo!" Kain exclaimed as he jumped up from the ground, landing on his feet as the guildhall shook slightly from his immense size.

"No overreacting Kain." Abel said as he begun to pull on the arms of Mr. Cursey, prompting Kain to start stretching his arms out in a manner that strained her body.

"Grh!" Kain grunted in pain as Abel climbed up Kains backside and sat on his head once again.

"Let's go find a place to sleep for the night. See you tomorrow!" Abel said as he waved goodbye to Bernard and Camilla as Kain walked away carrying the clown child.

"Yeah, goodbye..." Camilla said with a tired expression. "Man, that one was rough. But I guess we got a big fat stuntman now?" She said as she rubbed her head towards Bernard.

"Yeah, I guess. And it got so bad when I was listening to Kains story and I saw you conked out, I asked the other two people outside to come inside and I gave them a set of drinks while they waited." Bernard said as he stood up and took the papers on the table and walked over to another table with Camilla following. "Thank you both for being patient with that mess..." He said as he spoke to the two individuals at the table.

One was a humanoid chicken-like male with a long beak sticking out and a waddle underneath his chin and a red comb on his head. Dressed in a orange and yellow shirt with a yellow belt and a set of black pants, his entire body was coated with a layer of feathers and his arms had a set of bird-like wings attached to his elbows.

The other was a young girl with a pink bob-cut of hair with a noticeably unique set of golden eyes with stars in the irises. Dressed simply in a black and white dress with tight long sleeves, a set of long black leggings and black shoes and a headband with a set of cat ears on it.

"Wasn't expecting Master Hikaru to be here... Or with how long it took him to just talk about eating live fish..." The chicken man said as he scratched as his beak.

"Totally! I was like, about to barf when I overheard the fatso Abel was with was talking about eating purple boars. Ugh!" The young girl said in disgust.

"Wait, you know those two?" Bernard asked as he noticed the familiarity of which they spoke towards Kain and Abel.

"I used to work under Kain and the other higher ups in the Grimoire Heart guild." The chicken man said as Camilla and Bernards eyes widened.

"And I was a fellow member of the Avatar cult too-... Is he okay?" The young girl said with a chipper tone until she noticed Bernard started to grind his teeth rather loudly, prompting Camilla to get closer.

"Stop that, it's bad for you." Camilla whispered.

"Sorry but I've spent this whole day interviewing ex-dark wizards, I'm starting to lose my patience..." Bernard said disgruntled.

"You said these were the last two, correct? Let's just see what these guys are like and then call it a night." Camilla said with a reassuring tone as Bernard sighed before turning back to the chicken man and the young girl. "So it's nice to meet you guys, thanks again for waiting this whole time." She said.

"No problem. My name is Kawazu." The chicken man said, introducing himself.

"Mary's the name!" The young girl said, also introducing herself.

"Welcome to Psycho Circus. I'll start with you Kawazu. What's your story and why do you want to join the guild?" Bernard asked. "Glad these two aren't screaming their heads off or talking about spicy ice cream or something." He thought.

"I was a part of the Grimoire Heart guild, I was a member under a man named Caprico and after the guild dissolved, I was roaming around with a friend of mine named Yomazu. We parted ways a couple of years ago and then I just started to do some odd job work. "Go straight," that kind of thing." Kawazu described.

"What did you do in the mean time?" Bernard questioned further.

"Mostly security work for some people." Kawazu said.

"Okay, that's fine. What can you do for magical techniques?" Bernard said as he wrote down on the paperwork.

"Egg Magic." Kawazu said plainly as Camilla, Bernard and even Mary turned their heads to look at him with weird expressions.

"...I'm sorry, what?" Camilla said confused.

'"Egg Magic?"' Bernard said, also bewildered.

"Egg Magic." Kawazu reiterated. "I can spit eggs out my mouth." He continued as Camilla and Mary looked at eachother.

"...Does he mean his "other" mouth?" Camilla asked as she pointed behind her.

"I don't know! I just met this guy!" Mary said with her hands up in a defensive manner.

"Hey, it's not weird!" Kawazu exclaimed as Bernard looked at him with confusion.

"...I gotta ask... By "mouth," do you really mean...?" Bernard said as he begun to point towards his buttocks.

"No! My actual mouth! Watch!" Kawazu said as he stood up from his stool, opened up his mouth and regurgitated an egg into his hands. "See!" He said as he presented his saliva covered egg.

'"Gross."' Bernard, Camilla and Mary said in unison.

"Oh come on!" Kawazu said as he tossed the egg over his shoulder.

The tossed egg landed on a table of some nearby clowns, not cracking on impact. Looking at the egg in surprise, the group of clowns looked at the egg as it suddenly begun to shake and then exploded like a grenade.

'"Aaahh!"' The clowns screamed in unison from the explosion as Bernard and Camilla watched the small explosion go off with some of the clowns going flying and leaving a black mark on the floor.

"...Okay, so they're not just random eggs." Camilla said as Bernard looked at the mess the egg made.

"I'm not in the mood to clean that..." Bernard said as he shook his head.

"...I can pay for that." Kawazu said with an embarrassed face.

"Well... You have explosive eggs and you are a chicken man..." Bernard said as he looked at him. "I'm actually confused as to what to do with this guy, he's actually pretty weird... Even for the normal oddities in our guild." He thought as he scratched his face.

"Any ideas?" Camilla asked towards Bernard.

"I don't know, I got no idea how he could fit in to the show." Bernard said as he shrugged his shoulders.

"Oh, I wasn't interviewing to join the circus show. I was wondering if you could hire me for security work." Kawazu said as Camilla and Bernard looked at the chicken man.

"You want to get hired for security?" Camilla questioned.

"Circus show with performers, figured it be some solid work and if I join the guild, I'll get to meet some people. You wouldn't believe how some people get put off by my appearance." Kawazu said as Bernard, Camilla and Mary made suspicious looks at him.

'"Can't imagine why..."' Bernard, Camilla and Mary said in unison.

"Well? Ms. "Head of Security?"' Bernard said as he looked at his girlfriend who made a surprised face.

"Why're you asking me?" Camilla said.

"This is your department." Bernard said with a smug look on his face as Camilla made an annoyed expression.

"Wipe that smirk off your face!" Camilla exclaimed before turning towards Kawazu. "Well, keeping everyone safe is my job..." She said as she looked at the chicken man.

"If you don't want to hire me, that's fine..." Kawazu said with an honest tone.

"Look, it's not really my call." Camilla said in response as she turned back towards Bernard as he sighed, showing his fatigue.

"...I don't care at this point, welcome aboard to the security staff." Bernard said as he shrugged his shoulders. "She's basically your boss so if something happens, you answer to her." He said as Camilla made a surprised expression.

"Excuse us." Camilla said as she stood up from her stool and grabbed Bernard by the back of his shirt away from the table.

"Wait! Do I have the job?!" Kawazu said loudly.

"Probably not because you smell like fried eggs." Mary said casually as Kawazu turned towards her.

"Hey!" Kawazu exclaimed as Bernard and Camilla talked away from Mary and Kawazu.

"Why did you put me in charge of the chicken man?" Camilla said.

"He wants to work in the security team, you're in the security team and you left it up to me." Bernard said with a shrug.

"Yes but I don't need the help." Camilla replied back.

"I don't care at this point, I'm going to let those two in anyway because they were nice enough to stick around while I talked to the massive pudgy guy and his puppet master clown child." Bernard said.

"What about the girl from the cult?" Camilla said as she pointed towards Mary.

"I'll make this quick." Bernard said as he turned towards Mary. "Mary, was it? What's your magic?" He asked.

"I can do Virus Magic. I can cause diseases in people but I mostly do it to make people go "number two" in their pants. Watch." Mary said with a smile as she put her index and middle finger from her right hand against her head as Kawazu suddenly felt a painful feeling in his stomach.

"Uguh!" Kawazu uttered as he clutched at his stomach region as his body shook. "Bathroom!? Bathroom!" He said in pain.

"Down the hall in the right side tower, on the left." Bernard said as pointed in the direction of the toilets as Kawazu ran away. "And that dump better not be an egg that blows up a toilet!" He shouted angrily before turning back to Camilla. "Come on, that was funny." Bernard said.

"Yeah but she can cause people to get sick and she might cause some-" Camilla said until she suddenly noticed Bernard put his arm around her shoulders and whispered in her ear.

"...What if we got her to do her pooping spell on my old man." Bernard said as he looked at Camilla as her eyes widened before she walked over to the young virus inducing wizard.

"So welcome to the guild! It's getting late so we'll see you both tomorrow." Camilla said with a chipper tone as Mary brightened up at the prospect.

"Wow that was easy!" Mary said with a smile.

"I won't let you down!" Kawazu screamed from the hallway as a flushing noise was overheard as he clutched at his stomach with a fart noise coming from him.

"Gross..." Mary said with a disgusted expression as she walked out the guildhall with Kawazu following behind her.

"For the last time, I'm not gross!" Kawazu said in response.

"Well... That was it!" Bernard said as he clapped his hands together.

"Thank goodness. And look, it's nighttime now." Camilla said as she pointed outside and the pair noticed it was dark out.

"Yeah, looks like we're the only two left in the guild too." Bernard said as he looked around at the new empty guildhall.

"Gotta say, this was a productive day." Camilla said as she walked back over to Bernard.

"Guess if you look at it that way." Bernard said with his hands in his pockets.

"Sad part is that we didn't find you an assistant out of any of these new recruits." Camilla said.

"Well now I gotta work into overdrive to make new acts for all these new members." Bernard said as he shook his head.

"...Didn't we tell you to calm down and not work so hard?" Camilla said with her arms folded, disgruntled.

"You're the one with the new assistant here." Bernard said casually.

"I didn't need a subordinate!" Camilla exclaimed.

"Yeah, well- huh?" Bernard said until he looked behind Camilla and noticed something peculiar entering the guildhall as Camilla turned around, the pair looking confused.

Entering the guildhall of Psycho Circus was a quartet of tall cat-like creatures that looked like stuffed animals, two were light blue with red button eyes and loads of stitches all over their bodies and the other two were green with purple button eyes and wearing red bowties and black suit jackets. With their arms raised up, they were carrying a litter throne with four rods propping it up and sitting in the chair was a fair skinned woman with messy black hair and glasses. Dressed in a pink lowcut shirt, green skirt, open toed shoes, a white cowgirl-style hat and a matching lab coat, the woman appeared with a face beaming with confidence.

"Howdy yawl!" Said the voice of a woman sitting on the throne. "Your newest member of your guild has arrived to make your day!" She continued.

"...Actually..." Bernard said as he spoke up, catching the womans attention.

"We had just got like six new members today." Camilla said as the woman stood up in surprise, almost losing her balance.

"Huh?!" The woman exclaimed in shock. "What?! I thought for certain no one even was sure of this guilds existence!?" She said as Bernard and Camilla looked at her with insulted expressions.

"Okay, that hurt..." Bernard said with a twitch in his eye.

"Excuse me, but we had a long day of new members joining so can you please-" Camilla said until she was suddenly cut off by the woman jumping off her throne and rushing up to the pair.

"Wait wait wait!" The woman said frantically. "I didn't mean to be rude to yawl! I was just thinking out loud and didn't filter out the bad words!" She said in a slightly unapologetic tone.

"Well... This person's rude." Camilla thought with a bothered tone.

"The name's Daphne!" The woman said, introducing herself. "And I am looking to join the Psycho Circus guild!" She said as she got incredibly close to Bernards face as he inched back slightly from her invading his personal space.

"Can you back up a little?" Bernard asked with nervous tone. "Her breath smells like corn..." He thought.

"I'm on the hunt to join a guild and I was in the area and saw your guild sticking out like a needle in a haystack! Had to ask if I can walk in and ask for a mark on my body and a shot at joining!" Daphne said with a fast pace. "Waited a bit to make an entrance with some of my cat boys! "First appearances are everything" after all so I waited and waited and waited until this very moment." She continued as she rambled on and on.

"Wait, hold-" Bernard said until he was cut off by Daphne talking more and more.

"Looking around for guilds is hard work and I've been hankering to join one as after years of standalone work! And-" Daphne kept talking until Bernard slapped both of his hands against her cheeks to keep her from talking.

"Will you shut up for a minute?!" Bernard screamed as he and Camilla looked at her with annoyance.

"S-sorry." Daphne said as she stopped talking wildly.

'"Daphne," was it? You want to join the guild?" Camilla said as she spoke up.

"Yeah, I was passing through town and I saw you had a guild set up here." Daphne said with her hands on her hips.

"So you were just passing through Hemlock?" Bernard questioned.

"Indeed I was!" Daphne said in a confident tone as the four cat plush creatures put down the throne they were carrying. "I'm looking to join a guild!" She continued.

"Why?" Camilla asked.

"Because I've been rejected about fourteen times by other guilds!" Daphne said with a smirk.

"...That's nothing to be proud of." Camilla said as she acknowledged her annoying demeaner.

"It's not my fault they couldn't see what I can bring to the table!" Daphne said as she tried to defend herself.

"Uh huh..." Bernard mumbled, not convinced as Camilla patted Bernards shoulder to grab his attention.

"This one is weirder than Kain and Vidaldus were..." Camilla whispered.

"...Agreed." Bernard said quietly before turning back towards Daphne, still expecting the pair to let her in.

"You know anything about this guild?" Camilla asked as Daphne looked at her.

"Not really." Daphne said casually as Bernard and Camilla bit their lips in frustration.

"...Okay so... Psycho Circus is also a performers guild so we hire mostly wizards who have talent. What can you do?" Bernard said as he looked at Daphne with more concern in their eyes.

"I am a professional alchemist and builder of draconic creatures and these cat plush men!" Daphne said with a confident tone.

"...That's not very useful here." Bernard replied.

"Yeah, we can't do anything with that." Camilla said as Daphne looked at them, dropping her smile.

"We-well, I also am a genius who has a line of products!" Daphne said as she reached into her lab coat and pulled out a yellow box with a brown lizard on the cover and the word "METAMO-CHAN" in big bold letters.

"Huh?" Bernard said as he looked at the box. "What's a "Metamo-chan?" He asked.

"It's a quality dietary chocolate bar of my own design that within two months of only eating Metamo-chan, you're guaranteed to lose weight and fight obesity!" Daphne said with a saleswoman's pitch. "Got any chubby members in serious need of weight loss?" She asked as she got super close to Bernards face again.

"Pietros pretty fat... But he's more in shape than me. And as for Kain... He's flexible?" Bernard thought as he looked at the overly determined Daphne. "Sorry but no, we don't have any people suffering from size problems..." He said as Daphne's facial expression slowly turned into one that looked like she was losing a fight.

"We-well, I uhhh... Oh! If this is a performers guild, surely you need a maintenance staff right!? I got a horde of Lizardmen and plush cat boys at my disposal that can- plurf!" Daphne said as she continued to barter with Bernard until Camilla sudden put her hand over her mouth and pushed her back away from Bernard.

"We don't need a staff of weird monsters and toy people, One of us already has some." Camilla said as she looked at Bernard. "Look, I'm sorry but we don't think you'd make a good fit for the guild." She said in an honest tone as Daphne froze in place.

"And it's getting late and we gotta close up so can we- huh?!" Bernard said until Daphne suddenly shoved Camilla to the side and grabbed Bernard by his shirt.

"Please let me in the guild!" Daphne said as tears begun to appear on her face. "I need to join a guild! I'll do anything!" She begged as she shook Bernard.

"Whoa!" Bernard muttered.

"I'll do anything! I don't care if it's janitorial work or something!" Daphne continued to rant as Camilla grabbed Daphne by the back of her lab coat, causing her to fall to the floor.

"Let go of him!" Camilla angrily exclaimed as the cat plush guys approached as if to intervene. "And you things back off!" She said as she turned her head back as the plush cats cowered in fear of her presence.

"Please! Please! Please!" Daphne exclaimed as she wildly flailed on the floor.

"Enough with the groveling!" Bernard screamed loudly as Daphne suddenly stopped as Camilla looked at him. "Why do you need to join a guild?" He asked as Daphne begun to calm down as Camilla let go of her coat.

"...Years ago, I got into trouble with the Magic Council over an incident I caused." Daphne said as Bernard and Camilla rolled their eyes, getting another story of the law being broken. "I tried to build a dragon and tried to destroy Magnolia... And then when everything blew over, the Magic Council slapped me with a magical ban..." She explained.

"Ban on what?" Camilla asked.

"I wasn't allowed to continue my research in any capacity unless I joined a respectable wizard guild..." Daphne said with a bashful tone. "So for the past few years, I've searched around for a guild to take me but I keep getting rejected..." She said.

"Probably has to do with how insane you act..." Bernard said as he looked down at her as she quickly adjusted herself into a groveling position.

"Please! I need to join a guild, I'll do anything!" Daphne asked.

'"...Anything?"' Bernard reiterated as he looked up at the cat plush men also in groveling positions. "Okay this is sad..." He thought as he looked at the crazy lady.

"Hey, you better not be thinking something dirty..." Camilla said as she approached Bernard.

"No!" Bernard said loudly.

"I'm willing to do that if necessary- gufh!" Daphne said as she looked up as Camilla turned around and raised her foot into Daphne's face, knocking her down.

"He's taken!" Camilla exclaimed.

"I'm not gonna cheat on you!" Bernard shouted as Camilla looked at him with a blush forming on her face, not expecting that reaction.

"Well... That's nice to know..." Camilla said with a blush as she looked away with an embarrassed expression.

"Hmmm..." Bernard mumbled as he thought about adding Daphne to the guild. "Okay let me think... She's an alchemist inventor, she has her own line of products and she's willing to assist around the guild... Okay, I'm going to regret this hardcore..." He thought as he took a deep breath. "Daphne..." Bernard said.

"Y-yeah?" Daphne muttered with a worried tone as Camilla looked at him.

"And don't think I'm not doing this for you and the others." Bernard said as he pointed at Camilla. "...I'm in need of a personal assistant around here who can relieve some of the stress off my shoulders, are you willing to work for me specifically?" He asked as Daphne stood up.

"Does that make me a member?" Daphne asked with a wide eyed expression.

"...Yeah, it does." Bernard said as he put his hands up as Daphne suddenly jumped in the air.

"Yes! Yes! Yes! I finally joined a real guild!" Daphne said as she jumped around as the cat plush guys started to bow at Bernards feet.

"Will you cut that out?" Bernard said with a tired tone as Camilla looked at him.

"You sure?" Camilla asked of her boyfriend.

"You're the one who wants me to cutdown on the workload." Bernard said as he looked at Camilla.

"Finally! I can continue my research in dragons and alchemy!" Daphne said loudly as Bernard tapped her on the shoulder.

"You can do that later... For now, since you work here, can you please clean up some of mess in here?" Bernard said as he pointed at the broken glass behind the bar and directed her towards the black mess from a recent "egg-splosion."

"Right now?" Daphne said with a confused tone.

"If you want..." Bernard said as he walked back towards Camilla and put his arm around her waist, pulling her towards him. "I need to get some sleep, I've spent today on a long ride home and passing out from a surprise new guildhall and I don't feel like cleaning this place from the new members messes..." He said as held onto Camilla as they walked away together.

"You heard the boss man! We got a guild to clean!" Daphne said as she shouted for her cat plush guys to start cleaning up the guild.

"Walking with your arm on my hip. That's out of character for you." Camilla said as they walked out of the guildhall. "Not that I'm complaining. Hehehe." She said before laughing as she rested her head on Bernards shoulder as they walked.

"Well... I figured I owed you for the help." Bernard said with a blush.

"You're so cute. Hehe." Camilla said with a smug look as they walked towards the tent house near the new Psycho Circus guildhall.

Why is she here? Daphne, the crazy bespectacled scientist chick? I don't want her here, she's too crazy for a guild full of chicken people, clowns, monkeys, lizard women, mimes, tall people, short people, puppeteers, musicians- actually nevermind, the inmates are running the asylum. After Vidaldus and Swan, the Psycho Circus got even larger with former Grimoire Heart members, Kain Hikaru and Kawazu (as an addition to security) and former Avatar cult members, Mary and Abel joining the entertaining fold. Ending the night with one more sudden interview, the strange alchemist Daphne, Bernard finally has a personal assistant in the form of the absurd young woman. The guildhall has been improved, new members have been established and Bernard is walking home with Camilla. Will this good luck last however? Find out next time on Menagerie!
