Hey guys, Liz here. Welcome back for another chapter that I'm really excited about. However, you should be warned that this chapter will have angst and a bit of some traumatic events being brought up, so beware. What will the Son family face in the Time Chamber? Find out now.

The Son Squad Ch.49

Week One

"No, no, you're just burning off energy now. The key to being a super saiyan is anger."

The luck with the super saiyan transformation wasn't going well. Gohan and Chiyo were still unable to unlock the transformation. Something kept blocking them from doing it. Both panted as they were bent over their knees, trying to catch their breath. Off to the side were Goku, Daichi, and Chibiko, watching the duo's progress.

"This is…impossible," Chiyo panted as sweat ran down her face. She thought she could handle this, but this was like climbing up a mountain without any mountain experience. (And here she thought Piccolo's training would be tough). "How are we supposed to go super saiyan just by getting angry?"

"It's more than that," Chibi stated. "It's something that comes from deep within; something you didn't even know was there."

"It's just hard for us to get angry on command, though," Gohan chimed in, finally able to stand back up. His knees were feeling like jelly as he looked at the older girl.

Noticing the dilemma, Goku pondered how to fix this. The twins had a point about anger, not being something they could just be on a whim; there had to be meaning behind it. Then it hit him; "Okay, how about this: imagine that me, Piccolo, or Krillin about to be killed by Cell," Goku suggested to the twins. That would surely make them both angry, right? After all, he got mad after Krillin was killed by Frieza.

Nodding to their Father's suggestion, the twins tried to concentrate on the idea of Cell killing someone they cared for, but there was just one problem: "We've never seen Cell." The two said at the same time.

Well, that momentarily threw a wrench in the plan. "Okay, how about Frieza, then? That shouldn't be too hard for you two."

Changing subjects of focus, Gohan and Chiyo thought about Frieza and all of the horrible things he had done. They could envision themselves back on Namek and Frieza going about and killing their friends. Both could imagine that sinister grin bearing down on them, along with those horrid red eyes. Flashes of memories soon appeared in their minds; Dende dying, Vegeta begging their Dad to finish the fight, Piccolo sacrificing himself to save them, Krillin exploding.

That last one suddenly caused Gohan to shout for a brief moment, causing his hair to turn blonde for just a second before collapsing to his knees. Chiyo, on the other hand, had no such moment and ended up burning energy again.

"…I was right there," Gohan huffed as he tried to gain feeling in his body again.

"It's okay, Gohan," Daichi assured Gohan, getting down on his knees right next to the boy. "You're not gonna get it your first time. That was pretty good for your first time, though."

Looking over at the scene, Chiyo felt a sense of inferiority well up in her. Gohan was farther ahead from her than she thought. She couldn't even get a flash into super saiyan while he could. I knew there was a massive gap between us, She thought to herself as she looked down at her own hands. What am I doing wrong?

Noticing Chiyo's downtrodden mood, Chibi nudges her Dad with her elbow to get his attention. She whispered in his ear, and once she's done conveying what she needed her Dad to know, Chibiko pulls away from Goku to see how he would react to what she said. He takes in his daughter's words for a moment before nodding. Chibi smiles at her Father's response before going to grab Daichi.

"Hey, where's the fire?" Daichi asks Chibi as he's pulled to his feet.

"Just come with me real quick, okay?" Chibi tells her brother before dragging him off to the other side of the vast chamber.

As she walks by Chiyo, she gestures her head for the young girl to follow. Confused by this, Chiyo turned to her Father to see if he had any knowledge about what this was about. He replied by merely giving her a smile of encouragement and a quick nod. Finally getting it, Chiyo follows after Chibi and Daichi until they are almost a dozen or so meters away from Goku and Gohan.

Once Chibiko silently decided on making this the spot for her plan, she stops and releases Daichi's arm. "So, you gonna fill us in why you dragged us over here?" Daichi questions after his sister let him go.

"Simple," Chibi nonchalantly replied. "Chiyo needs more work on going super saiyan, and we're gonna help her."

"Oh, you guys don't have t-" Chiyo tried to get out before Chibi simply put her hand up as a signal to Chiyo to just listen.

"I don't want to hear any of this self-sacrificing chatter, okay? It's not a big deal. We're just gonna talk." Chibi sits down crisscross style on the ground and gestures Chiyo to do the same. Daichi soon sits down as well in the same manner.

"I can't believe you want to talk, Chibi," Daichi admits as he sits down across from Chibi. This was way out of character for Chibi. (Well, the ordering wasn't surprising at all, but the talking definitely was). "What's this about, though?"

"It's pretty clear that you and Gohan are different from each other," Chibi says to Chiyo, ignoring her brother's question. "As such, we need to address your struggle to go super saiyan differently than him. It's not bad that that's how it is; just different."

"So, you're gonna coddle me?" Chiyo questions, a bit of contempt in her voice. This felt like she was being treated like a baby. To her, it felt like Chibi was trying to say in the nicest way, "You're not good enough for the big-boy training," and was pulling her away from doing what she needed to do. Piccolo never did this when he trained her and Gohan. He expected the same amount of effort from both of them. He put her through the wringer just as much as he did to Gohan. "I can handle myself!"

"Calm down, Chiyo; that's not what this is. Not even close." Chibi leaned back on her hands, and her face grew dark as she looked over to Daichi. He gulped, not sure what his little sister was planning to do. She then looked back to Chiyo, who was now just confused by all this. "You need more specific references for training. You saw Dad turn super saiyan on Namek, right?"

"Y-Yeah, I did. But what does that-?"

"Daichi, tell her about how you and Trunks first became super saiyans."

Daichi let out a small gasp when he heard this and turned and looked at Chibi like she had requested something impossible. She wanted him to tell Chiyo about that of all things? It was honestly something he tried to forget about. "Chibi, I don't know about this."

"Just trust me, Daichi."

"Okay….but this is on you if this traumatizes Chiyo. You'll have to be the one to explain this to Mom if she finds out about it."

With that said, Daichi took a deep breath before he explained what happened when he was about 15 and Trunks, and Chibi was 14. He told her about the night his timeline's Gohan and Chiyo were killed by 17 and 18. He weaved the tale of how the androids were attacking yet another city, and just when it seemed like Gohan and Chiyo would let him, Trunks, and Chibi fight, they knocked them out. When they came to, the trio searched everywhere for the two half-saiyans as the rain began to pour over the ruined city. It was like looking for needles in haystacks.

Finally, Trunks spotted Gohan and Chiyo, and they all quickly rushed to their aid. However, when they got there, they found Gohan face-first in a puddle of water, his eyes completely glazed over. To Gohan's side, Chiyo laid in just as much of a dead-state as Gohan. She was on her side, and her eyes were rolled into the back of her head. Daichi reached to feel for a pulse and found nothing from either two adults. Before he had time to even process what was going on, Trunks screamed and turned into a super saiyan right before Daichi and Chibiko's eyes. This sudden burst of energy from Trunks nearly knocked Daichi and Chibi off their feet, and just as Daichi went to try and calm his friend down, Chiyo began to cough and gag. For a moment, a glimmer of hope rose in Daichi's chest as he and Chibi picked Chiyo up. Chibi was tasked with taking Chiyo to Bulma while Daichi took care of Gohan's body and tried to calm Trunks down.

It took Daichi almost an hour to finally get Trunks to calm down. Once he fell out of the super saiyan state, he cried into Daichi's shirt, and Daichi finally allowed himself to cry. He was devastated to lose his older brother, someone Daichi wanted to grow up and be like. The two teens sat there and cried for another hour in the pouring rain next to Gohan's body. Nothing could make this night any worse…..

After taking Gohan and laying his body in a back room at Capsule Corp, the two teen boys found Chibi sitting outside a spare room that Bulma and Chinku were using for Chiyo. The two women had been in there for a while, working on trying to save Chiyo, but they soon came out with their clothes covered in water and blood. Bulma bit her lip as she dared not look the trio in the eyes while Chinku had tears come rushing down her cheeks before she told them the news; Chiyo had just died right in front of them.

Daichi thought he was going to be sick. That couldn't be. She was still breathing when he last saw her. Gohan was gone, yes, but not Chiyo. Bulma and Chinku had to have saved her, right? He couldn't lose both his older brother and sister at the same time, right?! Tears ran down his cheeks as Chibi hugged Chinku and Trunks rushed to his Mother. Daichi, meanwhile, stood there for a moment, frozen in his thoughts. Then, he ran outside to scream at the sky, not realizing he had turned into a super saiyan in the process.

Hearing this story made Chiyo's heart sink and her stomach turn. She didn't realize that that was how her story had ended in the future timeline. She knew she had died, but she didn't think it was in such a gruesome way. How could she even process her own demise at the hands of the androids?

"Well, that's Daichi's story," Chibi stated after Daichi was done talking. She thought about the memories of that night, almost wanting to jump in with her version of events, but that would do no good. They had to keep going. "Now, it's my turn."

Wasting no time, Chibiko now told Chiyo of what happened three years later in Bridgetown. She explained how Trunks and Daichi rushed off to fight the androids independently while she and Chinku helped Bulma finish up the time machine. Chinku had a plan to save the duo from the two androids and used herself as bait to draw the devious team away from Trunks and Daichi while Chibi got the boys to safety. For a while, the plan worked, and Chibi moved Daichi to safety before she went to do the same for Trunks. On this last trek back to Capsule Corp with Trunks that 17 and 18 showed up to kill her.

Knowing she was no match on her own, Chibi ran and hid with the unconscious Trunks on her back. She ducked into damaged buildings and hid under tossed cars as the duo of androids tried to find her and Trunks. At one point, she was in one hiding place for almost half an hour before she decided to try and move on foot again. When she did, she ran right into 17 and 18. In 18's hand was an unconscious Chinku being hung out by her neck in front of the young girl. The two teased her with her sister's life and threatened to kill Chinku right then and there unless she actually fought them, to which Chibi agreed. She put Trunks down, and Chinku was tossed to the ground. The androids relentlessly beat on the young girl, and, to add insult to injury, 17 used Trunks' sword to slice Chibiko right across her back, leaving the horrible scar that Chiyo had seen before.

After that little beat-down, Chibi was sure she would die. She had no qualms about dying there. She fought hard, but she knew she was of no help. At this point, she had never been able to go super saiyan. Every attempt to replicate what Trunks and Daichi did the night of Gohan and Chiyo's deaths was something she just couldn't do. Chinku tried to encourage Chibi whenever she was disheartened by the whole mess, but nothing could change her self-doubt. At this moment, she figured this would be how it would all end.

Just as she was giving up, 17 and 18 seemed to grow bored and decided to kill the unconscious Trunks and Chinku out of boredom. Chibi actually started to beg as they charged up their blasts to throw at the fallen warriors, but her pleas were falling on deaf ears. No matter what she did, the androids continued on with their "game" with wicked grins on their faces. Before they could attack, something inside Chibiko snapped, and before she knew it, she was charging at 17 and 18 with all her might. She didn't realize her hair had changed in hue or that she was surrounded by a golden aura. All she knew at that moment was that she had to keep her sister and friend alive.

As hard as she fought, even with her newly acquired strength, Chibiko ultimately knew she would be unable to fight and fled with some quick thinking. She made it back to Capsule Corp with Trunks and Chinku and passed out on the floor right in front of Bulma.

Finishing up her story, Chibi looked over to Chiyo, who looked shaken to her core. She wasn't sure what to make of this story. She couldn't believe just how badly the future was. It was like she had been given a more vivid picture of this alternate timeline, and it made her sick to her stomach. "….W-Why tell me all that?" Chiyo asked with shaky breath. "I-I don't understand."

"It's to give you a broader idea of how going super saiyan works," Chibi answer Chiyo. "It's more than just anger. Dad's right about anger being a key part of it, but it's a lot more than that. This is to help you get a clearer picture of super saiyan. Do you understand?"

"I guess," Chiyo sighed. "But why just me? Why not tell Gohan, too?"

"Well, it's like Chibi said; you and Gohan are different people," Daichi stated. "Different people need different ways to learn."

That didn't exactly answer Chiyo's question. She still felt like she was being told she wasn't good enough to get the proper training she needed. Still, she didn't have the heart to tell the two what she was thinking, not after hearing their stories.

As they got back up to go over to Goku and Gohan, Chiyo followed far behind her future siblings while she trailed behind. She tried not to let it all get to her, tried to focus on something else, but was having a hard time pushing it all down. Just as she was trying to sort it all out, Goku came up to her and placed a reassuring hand on her shoulder. "We got this, Chiyo," He told her. "Don't worry so much, okay?"

Month One

Chiyo panted as she felt her lungs getting ready to call it quits on her. How was she not getting this? It seemed so easy for everyone else. She screamed as she tried to reach in and find that inner strength, that reserve of power that belonged to a super saiyan. "I….I can't do it!"

"Let yourself snap, Chiyo!" Her Father's voice echoed in her head.

"I'm trying!"

"Just let go!" Daichi's voice shouted above her own.

"I'm doing everything I can!"

"Keep pushing!" Chibi's voice demanded.

"I just can't!"

Chiyo shot awake in bed, unaware that she had even fallen asleep, to begin with. The dream replayed in her head as she came to grips with what had happened. It just reaffirmed to her that she didn't belong here. She was wasting time.

She slid out of bed and found that Gohan was already up and looking out over the landscape outside. It was covered in ice formations in every direction, with a cold wind blowing all over the place. It sent a chill down the two youngsters' spines. They had gotten used to the time chamber's changing environment, but that didn't mean that they still didn't get cold.

As the air became colder and colder and the landscape became more rigid, the twins could hear what sounded like attacks being thrown out against the shifting landscape. It definitely sounded like three separate voices shouting at once. There was no denying that this had to be their Father, Daichi, and Chibiko training in the harsh conditions.

"Can you see them?" Gohan asked Chiyo as he tried looking through the somewhat thick fog. He couldn't even see that well, to begin with.

"No, but they're not too far away," Chiyo replied, trying her best to look for the trio in question.

That's when they heard it; the voice of their Dad ringing out over the frozen landscape: "Ka-Me-Ha-Me-Ha!"

Suddenly, the place went into a bright blue hue, and Gohan and Chiyo were temporarily blinded by it. A familiar blue blast shot across the frozen ground and smashed through several icebergs at once. Ice-flakes were sent flying everywhere as the beam pushed through more and more ice.

That's when Daichi and Chibiko's voices suddenly rang out in the air: "MASENKO!" They both shouted as bright yellow beams mixed with the Kamehameha and broke even more icebergs.

The twins watched in awe at the incredible strength of the trio's combined attack. That's the kind of power they wanted to have. However, as the beams died down, explosions rocked the land, and large chunks of ice hurdled straight at the three training warriors, covering them entirely in ice and taking them out of view.

"GUYS!" Gohan and Chiyo shouted simultaneously as they ran out from the living area's safety to check on their family members.

Just as they were cutting through the thick fog, another explosion rocked the place and sent the ice scattering in all directions. A bright golden glow engulfed everything, and the twins had to shield themselves away from the explosion. When it all died down, they found Daichi, Chibiko, and their Father standing there, all three of them in super saiyan form. They looked utterly unfazed by what just happened.

Something about seeing the others up close like this as super saiyans sparked something within Gohan and Chiyo; it reminded them of what they were working towards. It seemed so close yet so far at the same time. To Chiyo, it seemed like it was lightyears away.

The three soon dropped out of super saiyan form and turned to face Gohan and Chiyo. "Oh, you guys are up," Daichi stated upon seeing the youngsters there. "Sorry if we woke you up."

"We thought you both were resting after the last attempt to go super saiyan," Chibi explained, placing a hand to her hip. "We didn't disturb you, did we?"

"No, we were already up when we heard you all training," Gohan replied, trying to make sure that Chibi didn't feel guilty.

"We should be the ones apologizing for passing out," Chiyo remarked, looking down to the ground. "I mean, we were the ones who are slowing you down." I'm slowing you down.

"Hey, what did we talk about before?" Chibi chimed in, causing Chiyo to look up at her. "Stop putting this all on your shoulders."

"Chibi's right," Goku jumped into the conversation. "It takes time to adjust to this place. It's no cake-walk. You two just need time to pace yourselves, that's all. I'd be more surprised if you two weren't resting. Besides, we've still got mostly a year to go. No reason to rush."

"But rest won't make us stronger," Gohan told his Dad, looking him directly in the eyes. "We're ready to train. We can't quit until we're super saiyans, just like you guys."

Easier said than done, Chiyo thought to herself. She hadn't said anything to Gohan about her feelings of inadequacy by being here. She felt that doing so would distract Gohan from his training, which is the last thing she wanted. Still, deep down, Chiyo wanted to scream at Gohan for roping her into his monologue.

After taking this all in, Goku's serious expression turned into a more relaxed one, and he smiled at the twins. "Well, if that's what you both want, then that's what we'll do it," Goku said. "Let's start training."

"Yeah!" Gohan cheered at the training idea while Chiyo simply nodded, unaware that Goku noticed what was going on.

Month Two

Chiyo woke up earlier than everyone else that day, or so she thought. Her body was sore from the previous training session from the day before. It reminded her of the days when Piccolo had trained her all those years ago. Those seemed so far away now. A part of her missed them, while another part wished she could forget the days of complete isolation in the woods. She didn't hate Piccolo for doing what he did, but she hoped that she could just ignore those lonely nights under the trees.

Walking out to the storage room, Chiyo grabbed an apple and some water to have for breakfast. She finished her small meal quickly before sneaking out into the chamber to get in some extra training. For a few weeks now, she had been trying to compensate for her lack-luster combat skills by bringing in additional training in the ever-changing chamber. Today was one of those days where the temperature was well over a hundred. This was gonna be a long one for sure.

Okay, time to get to work, Chiyo thought to herself as she got into a fighting stance similar to Piccolo. She stood there in the blazing landscape before she went into fighting at an invisible opponent with all she had. For now, she pictured it to be Frieza, and her brain decided that Frieza would throw insults her way just to add on to the realness. It slowed her down whenever Frieza reminded her of her near-death by his hands and how she couldn't save Dende from his sudden death.

"A monkey like you doesn't deserve to live," the imaginary foe stated to her in the ever-familiar cocky manner. "I should've finished you when I had the chance. It wouldn't have been that much effort anyway."

"Shut up!" Chiyo shouted and threw a blast at the fake opponent. The attack collided with the ground and produced a cloud of smoke that temporarily blocked Chiyo's vision. When it died down, Frieza was no longer there, and Chiyo let out a long series of pants as she collapsed to the ground, landing on her butt.

"Training alone like this sure doesn't look fun," a voice from behind spoke. Chiyo quickly turned around to see her Father standing there behind her, sweat trickling down his face. He looked like he had been up long before her and had been hard at work training on his own. He extended a hand for Chiyo to take. "Need a hand?"

Instead of taking it, though, Chiyo sat there for a moment before she stood up on her own. She didn't look her Dad in the eyes as she felt every emotion come bubbling to the surface. Everything started to rush over her as she looked down at her Father's feet and small tears pooled in her eyes. Her breath became hitched as overwhelming shame took over.

"Hey, Chiyo, what's wrong?" Goku asked, getting on his knees to figure out what was going on with his oldest daughter. He wiped at her face as she cried and the way he did it reminded Chiyo of the day he died fighting Raditz. "What's the matter, Chiyo? Why are you crying?"

"…Dad, I think I should just leave," Chiyo replied, her voice cracking as she brought her eyes up to look directly at her Father. The tears continued to come down her face. "I… I'm just…holding you and everyone else back…You…You all would be better off not having me here…I mean, Gohan has made more progress than me. I'm just…not good enough to go super saiyan."

"Woah, Woah, Chiyo, hold on a second, here," Goku said as his daughter continued to wipe at her cheeks. "Sweetie, it's okay."

"No, it's not okay! I'm slowing you down! The world is at stake, and I'm keeping you guys from getting proper training done. I'm a liability!"

"Look, I don't know exactly what that word means, but I can tell you right now that you are not one of those, and that's a fact." He placed both his hands on her shoulders as her tears started to slow down. "And why are you comparing yourself to Gohan? You're not him, Chiyo."

"….But he's better than me. He always has been." Saying that aloud somehow felt good, in a weird sense, at least. It was like letting out some big secret or something that was weighing on her chest. She didn't hate her brother, but she had to admit that she envied him from time-to-time. "You'll have better luck focusing on making him a super saiyan instead of me…."

"… That's not true, Chiyo. You're just-"

"I know, different from Gohan. But that's the problem! I'm so different that you can't train me properly! I'm a mess! I can't do what I need to do to go super saiyan! I'm just-"

"Chiyo," Goku slightly barked at his daughter before she spiraled further down this path. "I don't want to hear you say that that's a problem. You aren't Gohan, and there's nothing wrong with that."

"But-"

"No, no buts about it. You are Son Chiyo, not Son Gohan. You and Gohan are twins, but that doesn't make you exactly the same. You are your own person. Just look inside yourself, and you'll find what you're looking for."

Something about that jogged a memory in Chiyo's head, the day she came back to Earth after escaping the crumbling planet Namek. She remembered everyone waiting for news on her Father and Frieza's fates and how she had gone to speak to the Grand Elder about what he had said to her before, about having a power all her own. When she asked the old Namekian what he meant, he simply told her to look within and listen to find the answer she was looking for. How had she so easily forgotten that?

While she was thinking, a shocked look of realization came to her face as she recalled that distant memory. Goku raised an eyebrow in confusion at his daughter's changed expression. "Chiyo? You good, sweetie?" He asked.

Without skipping a beat, the young girl snapped out of her gaze and looked her Father in the eyes with the look of an epiphany painted all over it. "Dad, I wanna spar, right now," She demanded of Goku.

"Huh? Right now?"

"Yes. I just wanna try something, so let's do it, right here, right now!"

Noticing this fire in Chiyo's eyes, Goku couldn't help but smile. He got up, backed a few feet away from her, and then powered up right then and there to the point where he almost went super saiyan. Without saying a word, he charged straight at Chiyo, who did her best to dodge his attacks while also attempting to deliver some of her own. The power difference was clear from the start, though, and Goku was practically throwing the young girl around like a rag doll. This wasn't going as good as she hoped it would, but it was something.

The spar wasn't as quiet as the two thought it would be because Daichi, Gohan, and Chibiko soon came to check out the commotion outside, only to find Chiyo being smacked to the ground by Goku. "What the heck are they doing?!" Daichi shouted as a shockwave came their way. He looked ready to jump into the fight when Chibi put her arm out in front of him.

"Don't interfere. Chiyo wants this," Chibi stated, shocking both Gohan and Daichi. The young woman then crossed her arms over her chest as she watched Chiyo stagger to her feet. "She's pushing herself to go beyond her limits, and Dad's just helping her."

Gohan couldn't help but feel slightly concerned as he watched Chiyo go back to fighting their Dad one-on-one. Something about seeing her fight alone made him want to jump in and protect her. Still, Chibi's statement made him realize how much of this had to be something Chiyo had to do on her own.

Speaking of Chiyo, she found herself panting while her Dad looked like he could go for another hour or so. Her body was completely sore as she tried to catch her breath. However, she felt she was so close now.

I sense within you a power all your own, The Grand Elder stated in her head.

It's more than just anger, Chibiko's words encouraged Chiyo.

You are Son Chiyo, Goku's proclamation proclaimed to her.

All of this was taken in slowly as Chiyo got up once more. Her heart raced as events of the past came flooding over her; the day she lost her day and was separated from the rest of her family; training on her own; training under Piccolo; the fight with Vegeta and Nappa; fighting the Ginyu force; and finally, facing off with Frieza. Her frustration and anger channeled through her body as a golden aura surrounded her.

Goku charged right at Chiyo just as her aura became golden and only noticed it after he threw a punch her way and she caught it. Everyone else gasped as Chiyo's eyes changed from black to green, her hair stood up in a familiar spiky fashion, and her hair color changed to that of gold. She shouted as she threw Goku back with sheer force alone, sending him skidding across the ground as all this power washed over her.

This was unlike anything Chiyo had experienced before. It felt good but also overwhelming at the same time. Every sense in Chiyo's body felt heightened while also made her feel like she would be sick from it all. Her mind was clouded with anger, and it made her want to scream at the top of her lungs. Something about the whole thing was just this mixture of ups and downs. Before long, though, it was over, and Chiyo dropped to her knees out of exhaustion.

"Sis!" Gohan shouted, running out to his twin sister's collapsed form. Daichi and Chibi followed right behind him as Goku got up from being knocked down. They all soon crowded around her as the young girl panted. "Hey, you good, Chiyo?"

Chiyo let out a small series of pants as she felt her heart rate slow back down. She continued to look at the ground for a minute before lifting her head up to reveal a tired smile on her face to the others. "…I think…I feel a lot better now."

I really love this chapter! I loved exploring the pasts of Chibi and Daichi while also exploring Chiyo more as a character. A lot of Chiyo's anxieties stem from my own anxieties of being inadequate from time-to-time. I think Chiyo would struggle with inadequacy, especially when she compares herself to Gohan. She doesn't hate him or anything, but she feels that she's not good enough compared to him. She'll get better, though, trust me. That's why I had her go super saiyan before Gohan. (Actually, there's more to it than that, but I'll just say that that's a secret for now).

Anyway, what do you guys think of the story so far? What are you excited to see next? Let me know in the reviews below. Seeing your reviews always warm my heart, especially the ones from the last chapter. (I make sure to read them all). Find out next time on the Son Squad. Have a good day everyone, and remember to wash your hands!
