And here we are, finally in the last chapter of Jojolion. With this, I've more or less shaken off any remnants of the old Jojo manga. Let's do some cleanup, shall we? Disclaimer: I don't own Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, Danganronpa, or the Evillious Chronicles.

Jojolion Chapter 48: Our Moment

Speedwagon officials carried an unconscious Honami into a van containing the Anti-Stand Field. Shining and Kakyoin looked on. "Twenty-six years ago there were concerns on how we would contain Yoshikage Kira," Kakyoin noted, "How far our understanding of Stand power has come in that time..." "What about the other seven?," Shining asked, pointing at Honami's former slaves. "They've been punished enough, in both this life and their previous," Josefumi said as he approached, "Besides, they haven't really done anything in this time period. And now that they have a better handling of their powers, and where they wrong the first time, I think it's safe to say they've been rehabilitated."

Shining nodded. "Fair enough. That said, we'll still have them in protective custody so they can become acclimated to the 21st Century. They've been pulled forward hundreds of years, after all, and the world isn't what it once was." Indeed, several of the Sin Stand users were marveling at the simplest of things. Even Marlon and Nemesis were surprised at the sight of cars, since in their time most public transit was still horse-driven. "This is so amazing," Riliane said, "I just wish Allen was here to see it with me..." Instantly Kirumi's eyes lit up, and she put a hand to her mouth.

"Could it even be done?," she muttered to herself, "I mean, normally there's no Stand power capable of bringing back the dead. But at the same time my power is granting wishes, often on a level comparable to Shenron from Dragon Ball Z." She thought about it for a good while before smiling. "I mean, I can give it a try. The worst that can happen is that I can't grant the wish." She raised her hand. "Genie in a Bottle!" A brilliant flash of light emerged from the ground in front of her, catching Riliane's attention. To her shock, a human figure appeared laying on ground within the light.

When it faded, she gasped at the sight. "Allen!" Sure enough, it was indeed Allen Avadonia, born Alexiel Lucifen d'Autriche, Riliane's twin brother. Allen stirred awake and was surprised at his surroundings. "What's going on? The last thing I remember was about hearing about a revolution in the kingdom." Riliane smiled, tears in her eyes. "That was a long time ago... Brother..." "He doesn't remember his death?," Shuichi asked. "I think he may in fact have been copied from a specific time prior to his death," Kirumi explained, "Not really resurrected per se, but rather copy and pasted in the current era, to avoid causing a time paradox."

She turned to the others. "So with all that in mind... Do any of you have anyone they wish to be brought to this time?" As it happened, they all did. Sateriasis wanted his beloved Gumina Glassred returned, and as it turned out she was brought in just after looking over him while he died, leaving her a little confused but ultimately happy. Banica wanted her former fiance and lover Carlos Marlon, who had acted as her chef and was the father of her child. He was happy to see she had calmed down at long last. Margarita at first considered her late husband, but ultimately decided it would just put her back to square one, and decided to start over with a new relationship.

However, she did decide to bring back her best friend Mayrana Blossom, who had helped her understand her abilities, and who sadly fell victim to it in the end. With Kayo the choice was obvious. She wanted her husband Gakugo Sudo, who was elated to see her again. For Gallerian it was also easy. It could only ever be his daughter Michelle. She was very surprised to learn she had a half-sister when she was brought back, though not as surprised as Nemesis to see her father acknowledging her. As for Nemesis herself, she naturally wanted her boyfriend Nyoze Octo.

Kirumi felt winded after granting so many high-level wishes, but to her it felt worth it. "Better be careful," Josefumi said, "My Uncle Giorno said one of his capos had a near-death experience after pushing his own Stand to the limits of its power." Kirumi nodded. "Looks like it's over," Kyosuke noted, "After everything Honami did... And hopefully this time she won't be getting out of prison." Mahiru looked at the van carrying her former friend sadly. 'Sorry, Honami. I don't know what went wrong with you, but now you have to pay the consequences.'

Months later, it was a time of celebration at Hope's Peak Academy. The 77th Class was getting ready for its graduation ceremony. "Cheers!," they said as one. The party was spread out in their old classroom, soon to be used by a new class. "To think I'd be able to fulfill my dream of graduating from this school," Hajime said. Chiaki smiled at him. They had made plans to move in together, Hajime opening his own clinic while Chiaki planned on getting into game design, making games for others to play. Chisa was beaming as the class mingled. "Three successful years of teaching you guys. It feels like it flew by in a flash." "And a lot of things developed between us in that time," Fuyuhiko noted as he smiled as Peko, who was sporting an engagement ring.

"And our forays into the depths of darkness have proven we have what it takes to shape this world," Gundham said. "Indeed," Sonia noted, "And with our powers, it can become the mightiest of worlds, situated between the darkness and light." "Oh look, it's Missus Tanaka," Hiyoko quipped. "Oh, not quite yet," Sonia replied, "Gundham has not yet finished raising his makango." In Novoselic, couples could not wed until they had each captured a makango, an ape-like creature, to show each other. But Sonia was concerned that this would endanger them, and used her influence to have the law changed so that couples had to raise a makango of their own from ones kept in captivity.

This suited Gundham just fine, since his talent made breeding and raising the creature relatively easily. "I guess the world will soon call you 'Prince Gundham'," Kazuichi noted. He had come to understand that Sonia had made her choice and decided to respect it, wishing the couple the best of luck. Gundham chuckled. "It is one step closer to being a true ruler in this corrupted world." "Which reminds me," Nagito said, "Soon enough they'll be introducing the new students for the 80th Class. I hear Kizakura found some good ones this year."

The team attended as Jin prepared to read off the list of students for the 80th Class. "From Class 80-A. Takara Tsukuda, the Ultimate Journalist. Minoru Yoshihara, the Ultimate Veterinarian. Miyako Morino, the Ultimate Lucky Student. Satoshi Teruya, the Ultimate Archaeologist. Chiyo Ueda, the Ultimate Medium. Arata Miyazaki, the Ultimate Designer. Kumiko Akamine, the Ultimate Mangaka. Masaru Nishioka, the Ultimate Patisserie. Naomi Williams, the Ultimate Translator. Ryota Hoshino, the Ultimate Florist. Ayame Ishikawa, the Ultimate Soccer Player. Hikaru Nagai, the Ultimate Track Runner. Saemi Sasagawa, the Ultimate Playwright. Kaito Fujiwara, the Ultimate Animator. Kazumi Katsuya, the Ultimate Vocalist. And Shigeru Kitagawa, the Ultimate Composer."

He then turned to the second group. "From Class 80-B. Haruhiko Kobashikawa, the Ultimate Pilot. Kanata Inori, the Ultimate Surgeon. Kakeru Yamaguchi, the Ultimate Lawyer. Kyoka Maki, the Ultimate Sniper. Kinji Uehara, the Ultimate Priest. Kizuna Tomori, the Ultimate Cheerleader. Teruya Otori, the Ultimate Merchant. Mikako Kurokawa, the Ultimate Exorcist. He then motioned for the 77th Class to step forward. "And as we welcome our 80th Class, we say goodbye to our 77th Class. With them as with all graduating classes we place our hopes for the future. These last three years have been the most remarkable in all of Hope's Peak Academy's history, but it's been worth it to see the growth of our students." Josefumi joined in the applause with the rest of the audience. His bizarre adventure had likely been the longest of anyone in his family. But at the end of the day, he found he wouldn't trade it for anything, because he had the chance to foster a new generation of heroes.

I took the new 80th class from two different fan projects. Class 80-A is from Danganronpa: Despair's Last Resort. I recommend giving it a good read. Class 80-B is from the fangame Danganronpa Another Episode and its sequel Super Danganronpa Another Episode 2. I swapped around a few characters to account for the normal sixteen, excluding characters that had talents identical or similar to students still attending Hope's Peak (for example two of the characters from these fan projects have the title Ultimate Painter, which felt too similar to Angie's Ultimate Artist talent). Next time we start a brand new Part. Read and review.
