When Olivia walked in the hall, Amelia was waiting with her arms out. She was so clingy since Olivia let her know she wasn't moving to Oregon. Olivia put her on her hip and kissed her cheek walking to the kitchen of their Airbnb.

How about a sandwich and chips?" Olivia asked, sitting her on the counter.

"And fruit snacks."

"When you finish eating your lunch, we can go outside and look for leaves and rocks."

"Cool!"

Olivia bought a nature activity book at the grocery store. Like her dream, the cabin didn't have any TVs.

"Is this for me?" Amelia asked, opening the Target bag next to her on the counter.

"Yes."

"A Leapfrog tablet, and a Kindle tablet, and toys!"

"Yeah, do you know why I bought you these tablets?"

"No."

"Mommy needs a break this weekend. These tablets have games to keep you entertained. After dinner, you are going to entertain yourself until tomorrow."

Olivia kissed her forehead. "Is that okay?"

"We can't read Goodnight Moon after dinner?'

"Yes and then you are going to entertain yourself until you fall asleep."

"Can we do more activities tomorrow?"

"Yes."

"Are we having a Halloween party at school?"

"Halloween?"

"It's October. Are you going to get me a costume?"

"Yes, the class will have a Halloween party, and I'll get you a costume."

"Are we going to have a Christmas party?"

"Yes."

Olivia was counting the hours until she could be alone with Fitz. It's not like she had energy for sex, but she would at least try to stay awake for him. After searching for small rocks and leaves outside, Olivia gave Amelia glue, water color paint, and a large piece of cardboard. Olivia was cooking dinner when Amelia came in the kitchen with her finished project.

"This is for you."

"Wow, thank you!" Olivia read the message written in leaves and painted rocks. "Amelia Loves Mom."

It was a sweet message. She was used to getting art projects from her students, but this was different. She wanted to hang it on a wall in their home in DC.

"You're welcome."

Olivia piled Amelia's plate with food. She wanted her to be stuffed and sleepy. It was so much food, Amelia was the last to leave the kitchen. Fitz was glad Karen wasn't fussy. He sat in a chair across from Olivia and gave her a bottle. Olivia couldn't keep her eyes open much longer. She opened her eyes when she heard a whimper and Amelia pulled the throw blanket off the sofa. She climbed in Olivia's lap with her Goodnight Moon book. Olivia was confused when she looked out the window. It was dark already. The sun was shining when she fell asleep, and she only slept a few minutes. It was late in the day. Amelia pulled the blanket over them. Olivia started reading and Amelia was sleep before Olivia finished the book.

"Hopefully they sleep the whole night." Fitz said, with Karen on his shoulder and reaching for Olivia's hand.

"Yeah, that would be nice. I want to sleep." Olivia said, moving Amelia to her shoulder and taking Fitz hand.

He led the way and put Karen down in her bassinet. Olivia tucked Amelia in and Fitz asked if he should turn on a white noise video on his phone. Olivia said yes. She put the tablets on the nightstand next to the lamp, so Amelia would have them if she didn't sleep the whole night.

"Do you really want to sleep Livvie?"

"You can keep me woke for two hours. We are not staying up the whole night."

"Okay, I know you need to sleep."
