Hey guys, here's the latest chapter, I am evil and I hope I do the fighting justice, as for the person who asked about how she Hirashined in, she did place one on Hiruzen's neck and it was mentioned but I imagine it's easy to miss the mention of it in the previous chapters.
Anyway I hope you enjoy this-I tried to show that as strong as Naruto is she's not yet Kage level, but she also has back up in the form of Hiruzen who is even if he's older so I hope it's not too unbelievable! Anyways enjoy!
"Hashirama-sama. Tobrima-sensei." Hiruzen's voice was horse when he said the names, and then both men were moving forward and Naruto felt sick.
This was wrong. Whatever jutsu Orochimaru had used to do this was wrong. There were cracks or something in their skin and they were too pale to be natural. They were dead, and yet they were walking and-as she learned a moment later, talking.
"It's been a long time Saru." that was Hashirama.
"So it is you. You've grown old." Tobrima remarked.
"This is wrong. Seeing you both like this." Hiruzen's voice was almost shaking with rage as he glared at Orochimaru, who was stood behind and between the two coffins-because that was what they were. "Even for you this is twisted Orochimaru."
"Edo Tensei huh?" Tobrima turned to look back at Orochimaru. "So you've brought us back to life."
"In that case we have no choice but to fight you." there was a certain regret in Hashirama's voice, then he paused, "Who's that?" he nodded towards Naruto, who stood slightly straighter.
"Nohara Naruto, Shodaime-sama. I would say it's an honor to meet you but given the fact we're about to have to fight you... it kinda isn't." suddenly she wished she'd paid more attention when her mom had tried to teach her about the previous Hokages.
She knew some basics of course- Hashirama was insanely strong and had Mokuton, and Tobrima had invented half of the jutsu that existed today-including the Shadow Clones she was so fond of, but she didn't know much more than that.
Well she was about to learn more than she'd ever wanted to know she was sure of that much.
"Before you fight I must return these two to their true forms and ensure I have control." Oorochimaru jabbed something into the back of the two Kages necks, and steam almost seemed to rise off them as the cracks faded and they started to look almost normal.
"This is so screwed up." Naruto shook her head. "You're insane Orochimaru.
"So you say." the man chuckled, "I had a feeling you might interfere-you seem to be the type to meddle, it's a shame my third sacrifice seems to have failed-"
"Your thir-" Naruto's eyes widened, "The third box was supposed to be my father." her voice was tight and pained, "You were going to revive my father and have him kill me-" because she was smart enough to know that against a Kage she was probably likely to die.
"It would have certainly been fitting. Unfortunately it didn't work. As for you sensei-your suffering brings me enough enjoyment to justify this." he raised his hands, and then- "Kill them."
And the two dead Kages were moving-and Naruto cursed under her breath as Hashirama threw a barrage of Kunai at them while Tobrima rushed them.
It really wasn't a fair fight-Hiruzen was old and past his peak and Naruto was at the end of the day, only twelve-and she quickly found herself on the defensive, blocking and dodging as many attacks as she could-barely even managing to get one or two hits in-and the fact that when they were injured the two Kages just regenerated really, really did not help.
Hiruzen was, understandably, holding up a lot better than Naruto, but he was struggling too, and Naruto could feel her panic rising as she was sent flying from a blow from Tobrima, and she hit the roof hard, wincing as she got to her feet.
She couldn't keep fighting at this level she'd die-so she reached inside of herself-mentally apologizing since Kurama was asleep and what she was about to do would jolt him awake rather harshly-she had told him he could sleep through the whole situation if he wanted-after all she hadn't known it would turn out like this.
Then she was pulling on his chakra, and the golden chakra cloak formed around her, her eyes going slitted as she formed her three tails cloak, rushing forward-faster than before, one tail wrapping around Tobrima and tossing him away from Hiruzen-who had a horrified look on his face.
"Naruto no-"
"I have control it's okay-"
"That's not what I me-" and then wood was bursting out of the roof, and she turned her head to see Hashirama, his hands raised- "You can't use my Chakra his Mokuton can subdue me-"
"Naruto what the hell-Senju!" There was panic in Kurama's voice.
"We're fighting the first two Kages-"
The warning came a second too late-the wood lashed out, whipping around the three Chakra tails and pinning them down-and Naruto cried out in shock at the sensation-it was painful with how tight the wood was wrapped around her tails-and then it was wrapping around her body, almost entirely and she was screaming as she struggled.
It was tight enough that it was almost hard to even breath, and she could hear Kurama's anguished yells as the wood tightened and tightened around the tails and her body-and when it started pulling she screamed in agony and Kurama was screaming too.
She'd never felt anything like it.
She could hear Hiruzen yelling, see him fighting Tobrima, trying to get to Hashirama to stop the reanimated Kage.
She couldn't even draw the Chakra back into herself with how tightly the wood was holding it and pulling and pulling-would he be able to rip Kurama out of her? It really did feel like it.
She could feel tears pouring down her cheeks-the wood was squeezing so tight-she'd die if this kept up- "What?!" "I'll regain the chakra, once parted from me like that they'll burst, it's the only way to get away from him-" "But you'll be hurt-" "Better than dead!"
"Use your Chakra, as much as you can to strengthen yourself and burst free from the wood around your body-you should be able to do that it's focusing on restraining my Chakra and then rip yourself away-"
She hit the ground hard, stifling and scream from the agony as the chakra tails burst, burning the wood that had pinned them down.
She only gave herself a moment before she was rolling and stumbling to her feet.
How were they supposed to defeat two Kages who couldn't be killed? It was impossible. It was like saying you could kill a Bijuu. You could beat them but they'd reform or regenerate- then Naruto's eyes widened when a thought struck her.
Then she was summoning two dozen shadow clones-thankfully she hadn't hit her limit quite yet, she had enough Chakra for what she planned to do without it dropping to dangerous levels. She moved quickly, the clones guarding her from attacks as she unsealed some ink and brushes and got to work, forcing herself to ignore the memories rushing into her head every time one of them was dispelled
There were seals that could seal people, seals that could only be unlocked through special sequences.
She gave one of the clones a brush so it could help her with the drawing of the seal and she got to work, tracing the curves and lines and spirals that made up the seal-it would be on her neck-she really did need to condense the number of seals on her, she was running out of skin that wasn't already covered with the damn things.
Once she'd done what she could on her neck she let the clone do the rest as she traced two simpler seals on the seal paper before picking them up quickly.
Once her clone had finished she dispelled the others and moved, Hirashining over to Hiruzen-who was grappling with Tobrima.
"Sandaime-sama! Grab Hashirama." then she was slamming the seal to Tobrima's face, and he was being sucked into the seal on her neck even as Hiruzen moved and pinned Hashirama-and Naruto Hirashined to him again, repeating the process mere seconds before Hashirama would have broken free.
Then her legs were giving out beneath her and Hiruzen caught her arm quickly to stop her from falling as Orochimaru let out a furious yell.
"You sealed them inside of yourself!"
"Well technically into a pocket dimension, the entrance is just on my neck." Naruto managed to breath out, leaning heavily against Hiruzen, who looked almost as bad as she felt, both of them were exhausted and injured and Orochimaru hadn't even had to fight much.
This was very bad.
"You'll pay for that. Both of you will die here and now." Orochimaru snarled the words, a furious look on his face-clearly he didn't like the fact that his plan had failed, and the worst thing was that Naruto was pretty sure that they were going to die unless they pulled something great out of the bag.
"Can you grab him?" Naruto managed, "I... if you can get him in one place so he can't move-"
"I should be able to do that." Hiruzen managed, "What's your plan?"
"Just trust me."
Hiruzen nodded, letting go of her arm and rushing at Orochimaru, hands flying- and then the roof beneath Orochimaru's feet turned to quicksand before he could react and his feet sunk into it and he started trying to pull himself free, a panicked look on his face, and Hiruzen reached him and knocked him forward into the quicksand, his hands sinking in.
Orochimary snarled, struggling, and as he did Naruto was focusing, creating a Rasengan, merging it with her wind Chakra, heart pounding in her chest.
She worked best under pressure. She had to get this right now she had to.
She wouldn't have the Chakra to do anything else after this, it was do or die-and possibly do and die if it backfired.
She heard the loud screeching noise fill the air-and for the first time it truly formed a solid shuriken shape-she felt a surge of pride at that-she'd done it.
She'd actually done it!
She wasn't stupid enough to try and throw it-it would dissipate or blow up if she did, as long as she was holding it she might just manage to make it work.
Then she was moving, ignoring her exhaustion and sprinting at Orochimaru-who's expression became panicked and he started struggling more, trying to pull himself free.
She aimed for his head, and then he managed to wrench his arms free, and she shifted, she didn't hit his head as she'd planned but she caught his arms with it. The attack hitting him hard.
Then it almost detonated and there was a vortex of wind Chakra-she gritted her teeth to keep from screaming in pain as she felt her bones shatter and the attack tear at her own arm-Orochimaru couldn't even do that much, he screamed-and she could hardly blame him as she was thrown backwards by the force of the explosion and the vortex, and Orochimaru threw himself backwards too- but even if he managed to save his life from the tiny blades of wind Chakra that came from the explosion, but his arms were limp and useless at his sides, shredded and bloody, mangled. Naruto was pretty sure that even her mom wouldn't be able to heal them.
And without his arms he wouldn't be able to use jutsu, he wouldn't be able to fight properly.
Naruto coughed and dropped to her knees, her right arm hanging limply by her side-and she was pretty sure it would be a little while for it to recover-an injury like that without Kurama's help probably couldn't be healed quickly-the skin was almost shredded from the microscopic Chakra blades-and while her mom could probably heal the bones the level of injury would be tricky even for her.
She could hear someone calling for Orochimaru even as Hiruzen rushed to her side, stopping her from toppling forward even more and face planting the roof.
"We have failed." Orochimaru's voice was bitter and angry, "We leave."
Then the barriers trapping them on the roof and trapping the Anbu out were gone-and Orochimaru was fleeing-the four shinobi who had been holding the barrier fleeing with him, one of the grabbing him and half carrying him-Naruto felt a weak sort of satisfaction at that-she'd managed to injure him so badly that he couldn't even flee on his own.
Then the Anbu were bursting onto the roof, leaping over the trees and wood from Hashirama's use of his Mokuton.
"Hokage-sama!" their cries were panicked, and the old man shifted his grip on her.
"We need medics." he barked the words, "Both Naruto-san and myself need medics now!"
And she could hear more people arriving-but her vision was blurring and her body slowly leaning forward, the only thing keeping her up was Hiruzen's grip on her.
She found herself oddly tempted to giggle-so this was what total chakra exhaustion felt like.
Then there was someone shoving past the Anbu who had moved to crouch in front of her and Hiruzen-and she blinked slowly-she could make out dark hair and red eyes, "Naruto no-" that was Sasuke's voice. Was it Sasuke in front of her? "You can't die-no no no-" but she didn't hear anything else because her vision faded completely, and her body went completely limp as the exhaustion and her injuries overwhelmed her entirely.
