As Brian was looking down at the tower from atop the Wall, Stewie and them were approaching the same tower from the ground.
"That's Queenscrown," Dipper told Mabel. "It was built by Stewie Griffin."
Mabel looked at Stewie. "Nice work. Did you build it by yourself?"
"Not our Stewie," Dipper explained. "This was his ancestor, Stewie the Builder."
"There have been a lot of Stewies in my family," Stewie agreed. "I even had an uncle named Stewie. But he and my grandfather were killed by the Mad King."
"So, why aren't there any people around?" Mabel asked.
"They were probably afraid of the wildlings," Stewie said.
Dipper turned his head slowly. "We need to find shelter. There's a storm coming. A bad one."
"Let's go in there," Stewie said, pointing at the tower.
"Hodor," Hodor agreed.
The tower was on an island in the middle of a lake, but there was a bridge. They went across the bridge and up into the tower.
Once they were settled in, Dipper looked out the window. "Hey, I can see a man on a horse!" he said.
"I wonder who he is," said Mabel. She went to look too. Stewie had Hodor carry him over by the window.
"Could he be a man of the Night's Watch?" Dipper wondered.
Stewie shook his head. "Nah, he's not wearing a black cloak. I say, look! There's a bunch of other people heading toward him!"
Dipper and Mabel looked where he was pointing, and they saw them too. "Yikes, that guy has got an axe," said Dipper.
"I see a bunch of people with spears too," said Mabel.
Then Stewie saw a familiar shape. He rubbed his eyes, hardly believing it, but it was there, all right. "Gods be good, that's Brian. The other people must be the wildlings from my dream. What are they gonna do to that old man?"
The old man had gotten off his horse and was building a campfire. Brian and the wildlings watched, hidden in the woods nearby.
"We need to kill that guy," Tormund said.
Brian was shocked. "What? Why?"
"He could alert others to our presence."
"What others?" said Brian. "I don't see anyone else around!"
"Brian's right. We shouldn't kill him," said Orell. He looked at Brian. "Brian should do it himself."
Brian opened and closed his mouth, unable to form words.
"Do it, Brian Griffin," Ygritte urged. "You must. T'prove you are no crow, but one o' the free folk."
"I can't," Brian said sadly.
"Okay, fine, then I'll do it." And Ygritte killed the man with an arrow.
"You must still be a crow," Tormund accused Brian. "You never went over at all. You've been a spy this whole time!"
"I fuckin' knew it!" Orell shouted. "Can I be the one to finish him off?"
"No, you can't 'urt 'im! I won't let you!" Ygritte yelled.
Tormund grabbed her arms to restrain her. "Do it quickly, Orell."
Orell swung his sword at Brian. Brian raised his own sword to block it. But he knew this wasn't gonna end well. The only fight he had ever won in his life had been against Qhorin Halfhand, and he suspected that Qhorin had let him win that one.
Up in the tower, Stewie couldn't hear what the wildlings and Brian were saying, but he could see everything that was happening. He knew Brian was in trouble. He wished he could help him…
And then suddenly, he was Brian. He didn't know how he had done it, but he was inhabiting Brian's body. He had warged into Brian! Elated at being able to move freely for the first time in months, Stewie threw himself into battle mode.
Orell didn't know what was going on, but all of a sudden, he found himself on the defensive. Brian was slashing fiercely at him with his sword. He was having trouble blocking Brian's attacks. And finally, Brian rammed the sword through Orell's chest. The wildling slumped to the ground. With the last of his strength, he warged into his pet eagle who had come with him. The eagle flew at Brian, but Stewie-in-Brian's-body was able to fight it off. Soon, the eagle was taking to the skies, while Orell's human body died on the ground.
Another wildling tried to attack Brian from behind, but Stewie made Brian thrust backwards with his sword and stab the wildling before he could touch Brian. "Anyone else want some? Come on!" he had Brian say.
They all formed a circle around Brian, except for Tormund, who was still holding Ygritte's arms. Stewie had Brian emit a ferocious growl and leap at one of the wildlings, who had to dive out of the way to avoid the direwolf.
Then Brian was running, out of the woods and towards the bridge that led to the tower. Nothing in Westeros runs like a direwolf. Brian may have been an out of shape example, but now there was someone else at the controls. Stewie had never run so fast in his life, even before his fall. He managed to maneuver Brian across the bridge and into the tower before the wildlings could catch up with him.
Just as Brian got inside, they came running up to the bank. "Where is he?" Tormund bellowed.
"I think he went in there!" another guy said.
Tormund shook his head. "How could he have gotten across that lake?" He couldn't see the bridge because it was just beneath the water's surface.
Brian was gasping for breath. He had no clue what had happened. One minute he was being attacked, the next he was in an unfamiliar room. "Where am I?" he wondered out loud.
"You're at Queenscrown, Brian," said a familiar voice.
Brian turned his head and saw… "Stewie! What are you doing here?"
"Looking for the three eyed raven," said Stewie. "What were you doing with those wildling guys? You didn't really think you could join up with them, did you?"
"No, I didn't really want to join the wildlings," Brian explained. "I was just going to spy on them for the Night's Watch. I found out that they're going to march on the Wall, a whole army of them. I've gotta get back to Castle Black. King Robert needs to hear about this…" He noticed Stewie, Dipper and Mabel giving him weird looks. "What?"
"Haven't you heard, Brian?" Stewie said. "Robert is dead. And Peter is dead too."
Brian was flabbergasted! "How did that happen?"
"Well, I wasn't around to see it, but from what I've heard, Robert died in some hunting accident. Then Joffrey became king, and he had Peter executed. Chris didn't like that, so he declared himself the king in the north and started a rebellion against Joffrey. Then Stannis and Renly both said they should be king because they were Robert's brothers. And Balon Greyjoy wanted to be king because… well, I guess he just plain wanted to. So, it was a War of Five Kings."
"Wow, a lot has happened since I've been away," said Brian. He was overwhelmed by all this information. He couldn't believe Peter had died.
"A bunch of ironmen seized Winterfell, and I had to leave, along with my friends here," Stewie said. "This is Dipper and Mabel Pines. Hodor you already know."
"Nice to meet you," Brian said. "And it's nice to see you again too, Hodor. I didn't think I ever would." He paused. "Wait a minute, I still don't understand how I got away from the wildlings and ended up here."
"I'm afraid that was my doing," said Stewie. "It seems that I'm a warg."
"What's a warg?" Brian asked.
"Basically, a guy who can turn into other guys," Mabel said.
"Yeah, I entered into your body and was controlling you," Stewie confessed. "I made you kick those wildlings' asses, and then I made you run up here where you'd be safe."
"You didn't have me hurt Ygritte, did you?" Brian asked anxiously.
"Who's Ygritte?" Stewie asked mischievously. "Ooh, is she a girl? Well, I only remember killing men, so she's probably fine."
"Well, that's pretty cool," said Brian. "I've never kicked anyone's ass before. Maybe you should stick around. I might need you to do that again sometime."
"Oh, yes, you have no idea what a liberating experience it was for me!" Stewie exclaimed. "I could walk again, I could run again, I could fight. I wish I could stay inside you all the time."
"Do you have to phrase it like that?" Brian asked.
"Hold on, Stewie," said Dipper. "You can't stay in someone else's body all the time. I forgot to mention that part, but it says in my book that if you inhabit another creature's body for too long, you forget who you are and become absorbed into them."
Stewie's face fell. "Oh."
"Well, that's okay," said Brian. "I wouldn't want you possessing me 24/7. But if you're still around for this big battle with Mance Radar's army that's coming up, you can warg into me again and we can fight together."
"Sounds good," said Stewie. "I'll come back to Castle Black with you, and fight in the battle, but after that, I need to take off."
"Where do you need to go?" Brian asked.
"North of the Wall."
Brian's jaw dropped. "Stewie, you can't go up there! It's too dangerous. I just came from there. There's White Walkers, and zombies, and maybe even worse things!"
"I have to, Brian," said Stewie. "The three eyed raven is waiting for me."
"Who's the three eyed raven?"
"He promised to teach me to fly." And that was all Stewie would say.
