Morning after the case

Hetty's phone rang.

'Hello?'

'Good morning. Just wanted to let you know Jack and I got in okay.' Granger said.

'Well that's nice to hear!' Hetty responded.

'What are you doing?'

'Getting ready to work, why?'

'Just thinking about yesterday.'

'Look, I put Kensi and Deeks on Jack's protective detail, not just because they were the best people for the job, but so they could get closure on the past! It was the right thing to do, so they could start the next chapter of their lives without anything dragging them down.' Hetty said, confidently.

'I get it. Still though, maybr you could've told them about it, 1st? Not judging, just asking.'

'Would they have agreed to it if they knew?'

'That, I do not know.' Granger responded.

'Exactly. I'm just looking out for them.'

'And that is very nice.'

'Do you ever wish you could bill dead guys? Because fixing that apartment is going to take a lot of money!' Hetty said.

'Lots of times. Ever think of what might happen if we were to move in together?'

'Uh, well. It'd have to be to my places, because there's no way I'd ever give them up to move to your place. And it definitely would not be anytime soon because we haven't been 'unofficially dating' for long! That good enough?' Hetty responded.

'Yeah, that's good enough.'

'I have to head to work now, talk to you soon.'

'See you later.'
