Jupiter was thrown, all the while she was giggling like crazy.
She soared, her hair whipping about in her careful, calculated arc. High and up, free and for just a few seconds, it was as if she was flying herself. Kiza was waiting for her. Her calloused hands catching her not even a second after she had been thrown by Stinger's steady hands. She was spun around, dizzyingly fast, with Kiza laughing sweetly and joyously in her ears. Her beautiful transparent wings buzzing, vibrantly and wonderfully smooth as she rose a few feet higher, holding Jupiter in an easy princess carry. Despite her thin and smaller frame, Kiza was very strong. And after a few months, any weakness she had had for having the Bug for forty years was almost gone. She was strong, and so was her second pair of wings. And it was almost as if she had never lost them in the first place. Jupiter's own hands came around the teenaged splice's neck and she pressed her own giggling face against her chest.
"Catch DA!" called out Kiza, as she tossed Jupiter once again.
Jupiter was once again flying, even as Stinger's large and surprisingly agile frame came up to hold her, much as Kiza had.
"You shouldn't have volunteered for the training, little Majesty," said Stinger, and his voice was warm and full of laughter. She pressed her arms around his neck, "Pursuit now, Kiza!"
With a quick kick of his boots, the gravity was shifted underneath him, and he jolted backward in a smooth, athletic movement. Kiza was following behind them, her eyes wide and focused, her wings beating easily and with a strength that made Jupiter's eyes sting with tears.
"It's fun," she said, happily as she watched Kiza get further and further away, the skyjacker boots and Stinger's head start giving them the distance, "And it gives me an excuse to fly, too! I would want my own wings!"
"... It wouldn't be proper," he told her, voice very startled.
"No, I guess it wouldn't be," she responded softly as they dodged out of Kiza's reaching hands again, "Which is so stupid. But I guess being able to fly on your own would be too much for a stupid Entitled to handle."
Stinger gave a startled laugh.
"You really think so?"
"Of course!"
"You really aren't one, are you little Majesty?"
"Not really. Seraphi's memories don't really make me, me, you know?"
"I'm starting to see that."
Shyly, Jupiter placed a kiss on Stinger's cheek. Startled, warm eyes looked at her.
"Thank you, for seeing Jupiter Jones."
Stinger gave her a warm, small smile.
"Thank you for being, Jupiter Jones."
