Practically Blinding

They say eyes are the window to the soul. You can tell what someone is thinking, what they believe in, how they feel, all this from looking into their eyes. Hinata opened her own eyes. It was an early morning. The sun wasn't even up yet. But she needed to prepare for a mission soon. Naruto was sad about it which was probably why his hold on her was so tight.

She had two more hours to prepare, so she decided to admire Naruto's face. It was a little pastime of hers. He was always attractive. It was annoying that people only acknowledged how attractive he was when he became a hero of the Shinobi world. Nonetheless she was glad he got his recognition.

Hinata smiled. His blonde hair was so cute. She was a little sad when he got a haircut, but he looked so much more mature now. Attractive, attractive, and did she mention attractive? She sighed, she needed to get up soon. As she moved a tad, Naruto stirred and his eyes slowly opened.

He wasn't a light sleeper, but losing Hinata in his arms did the charm. He looked up at her and smiled weakly, a yawn waking him up a bit more. Hinata was glad she could admire his eyes now, but sad that she woke him up. However when his eyes crinkled in his smile and that blue hue shone like that, she focused on the former rather than the latter. His eyes were...

Practically blinding.
