While the terrain swung between hilly and flat, the environment stayed much more consistent; partial shrub-land minor salt lakes, the latter of which were becoming rarer to come by as they moved on. The sight of actual rivers were seen as a good omen, and that they could actually have relatively clean water for once. Crossing said rivers was even easier, as the rough terrain forced them to be shallow enough to stride through. Eventually though, the terrain stayed rough, and it became more evident they were entering the region affected by the earthquakes produced by Falltain. Due to this, the sight of a vast flat land dominated by rivers was surprising to say the least.

It appeared as if in the last three years, the broken-up terrain allowed water to flow between the newly-created valleys and crevices, creating the large plains that displayed in front of them. The map as this point was practically obsolete, up until Negev made out that said flat land was actually already present, and it was just to the west of Clawtooth. All they had to do now was find the large river that stemmed from their home.

The night following their discovery was calm as ever. Though clouds rose high on the horizon, they maintained their distance, allowing for the group to look up at a clear sky with no moon to obscure the stars. "Not so far now, huh?" Pelias spoke up, Henry nodded in response. "Mhmm, and to think we used to be so far, now it feels like I can sense them... so close now." Henry soon drifted off to sleep, while Negev and Pelias remained awake. By morning however, Henry woke up to a very concerned Negev and Pelias.

"Is something wrong?" Henry asked, the other three looked instantly towards his direction. "Nothing wrong, we just didn't know when to tell you-" Negev started, Pelias soon interrupting before he could finish. "We saw you- I mean... him again. It's still confusing."

Henry perked up at the mention of another encounter. "How was he? What happened."

"Slow down Henry." Negev said, "He was uh, confused to say the least. We were confused as well, he had no idea who we were and when we mentioned the previous encounter, he didn't understand what we were talking about. We quickly realised this was probably his first time so we gave a bit of everything to hopefully try to explain what's going on."

Negev was fully standing by the time Henry asked "And did he understand?", "Well, it seems so." Pelias responded, "He was somewhat sure, at the very least he knows that this won't be the last time."

As Henry got up, the group began to walk while further discussing the encounter. From what they could gather, the other Henry had only just gotten the device on his leg, the very same device they saw last time. It was clear that whatever the thing was, was either the main reason for the events that both Henry's experienced, or just partially responsible. They also knew that the other Henry knew of Spot, though how exactly wasn't discussed. In the midst of their discussion, they were stopped by Spot, who directed them towards the edge of what appeared to be a large canyon. Arriving near the edge, they all looked down to see a wide river in the middle, flowing at a marginally high rate. This was it, the river they had been looking for. The only question now was how to get to the other side, considering that the farm was north of the river.

"'Ey Pelias, why did the apatosaur cross the river?" Negev spoke, "To get to the other side, everyone knows that." Henry said before Pelias could even think of a response. "I mean that was the joke, but considering the situation, it looks like the answer was 'to reach their family' this whole time." Henry chuckled at that, Pelias did so as well as they made their way down. While much steeper than what they experienced before, and coupled with the odd cliff or two, getting down to the river bank was by far the hardest part. That wasn't to say going through the river and then going up the other side was easy, just easier than going down.

Being on the other side however, was a huge relief, as there was no large river between them and Clawtooth anymore, at least not on the map for now. As with the ground, it had become more harsh than the previous shrub land, giving way to a dark-reddish rockery that scattered the landscape. Barely any grass broke through, resulting in a barren scenery that gave every impression of lifelessness. Yet even with such lack of prosperity, following the river had indeed payed off.

Across the land, right out to the horizon and just about peaking above the foreground hills, there was a distinct peak that had a white cap on it. Looking at the map once more to correct their position, they realised just what exactly they were looking at.

Before the apatosaur could find words for the sight, Negev remarked "There it is Henry. Clawtooth Mountain."

Audio Message #40: Subject Member 3 - aka Henry respectively - has traveled 310 miles (499 Km's). Once more has this other Henry interacted with those of this world, I'm beginning to believe that both would of had the same amount of 'interactions' as each other. Considering that Henry has experienced 6 (possibly 7) such cases, and the other Henry has been seen twice by Negev, once with Ethine, once with Ida/Buck/Libby, once with Verena and once with Arlo. Coming to around 6 times, both Henry's have had the same number of interactions.

The reason why I think there was another interaction with our Henry is partly due to the brief experience in the woods (Refer to Audio Message #25, or if this is for whatever reason being read, Chapter 33). If it does indeed count, then I have a feeling we may see the other Henry once more. Though when and where are questions for debate. As for Henry's sighting of Clawtooth, I'm not sure if he's the first to spot it, I'll have to check up on everyone to see for sure. For now though, I give a hollow congratulations to him. His survival rating is 4.7 out of 5.

End of message.
