RAW is WAR: 19/11/2001
Less than 24 hours after the World Wrestling Federation triumphed over the Alliance in the "Winner Take All" match at Survivor Series, RAW kicked off from the Charlotte Coliseum in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Footage was shown of Mr. McMahon's private jet landing in Charlotte earlier in the day. Mick Foley stepped inside the sleek jet and sat with Mr. McMahon. Mick asked the Federation Chairman to name a seat on the plane after him because of all the sacrifices he made for the company. Mr. McMahon suggested the "Dude Love toilet." Mick told that he was resigning as commissioner of the Federation. But Vince smiled and said Mick couldn't resign. He was about to tell Foley he was fired, but Mick cut him off and said to go ahead and fire him if it made him feel better. Foley abruptly turned and left, leaving Vince to say, "Take care, Mick, and have a nice day."
After the opening fireworks, Jim Ross was shown at the commentator's table with an empty seat next to him. As J.R. was saying that he had no idea who would take Paul Heyman's place, Mr. McMahon came to the ring. The Federation Chairman said that despite Foley's resignation, tonight was a night for celebration because the Federation survived Survivor Series. Vince said he owed a debt of gratitude to one man who showed his true colors and who deserves to be honored: Kurt Angle.
It was because of Kurt Angle, Vince said, that WCW and ECW are dead. The only remnant of WCW still in existence, he stated, was the WCW Championship wrapped around The Rock's waist. However, that title would now be known as the World Championship. Vince said there would be a lot of changes made on RAW, including some lucky person who would be joining the "Vince McMahon Kiss My Ass Club," which was formed Monday morning. The club was founded so that one member of the Alliance who was seeking employment could have a job if he kissed Vince's ass. Champions in the Alliance were excluded because they were already members of the Federation.
The new club, Vince said, was nothing compared to what would happen that night to the leader of the Alliance. With a devilish smile, Vince promised to execute his plan when Stone Cold Steve Austin arrived. Mr. McMahon then addressed the empty chair next to Jim Ross. To show he was a benevolent individual, Mr. McMahon asked Paul Heyman to come to the ring. The former ECW owner came out and took his usual place next to J.R. while screaming, "I got away with it!"
Mr. McMahon asked Paul to come into the ring. Vince said he liked people who spoke their mind. He said that he was okay with what Paul said last week because he was a big advocate of the First Amendment. In an exercise of his rights, Vince got in Paul's face and hissed, "You're fired!"
The crowd erupted and Paul Heyman angrily demanded a fight right there. Mr. McMahon whipped off his sports coat, which caused Heyman to flee the ring. He made his way toward the announce table where J.R. began assaulting his former sidekick! As security removed Heyman from the building, Mr. McMahon introduced J.R.'s new announce partner: Jerry "The King" Lawler!
The King made his way back to the familiar announce table to a deafening standing ovation. "It's good to be the King, and the King is back!" Lawler said.
After the first break of the night, Trish Stratus defended her newly won Federation Women's Championship against Lita. Nobody looked forward to this match more than The King, who was glad to see all his favorite puppies again!
Lita, escorted to the ring by Matt Hardy, climbed the top turnbuckle at one point to attempt a moonsault, but Trish pushed Lita to the hard mat outside the ring. The dazed Lita was scooped up by Matt Hardy and shoveled back into the ring where Trish covered her for the pin!
Backstage, the Dudley Boyz stood talking with other Alliance Champions when Mr. McMahon came in. Vince, clearly gloating over his win, said he was going to put the Dudley Boyz in a Tables Tag Team match against the Wolfpack with the WWF Tag Team Championship on the line! D-Von asked if Mr. McMahon was serious. "Deadly serious," replied Mr. McMahon.
Backstage
Trish was walking backstage, her title in hand after her match with Lita. She looked back for a moent before she bumped into someone. "Oh excuse...me..." Trish trailed off as the person turned to reveal the Bladewolf who raised his eyebrow.
"Hey Trish." Bladewolf greeted her neutrally.
"Hey." Trish smiled, fixing her hair which made Bladewolf raise both his eyebrows. "You busy or something?"
"Nah, me and Jackal have a tornado Tag Team Tables match for the WWF Tag Team Titles against the Dudley Boyz next. We hope to take those titles back for the third time and begin to show everyone just what the Wolfpack is capable of."
"Mmm~ that sounds hot~" Trish smirked at him, causing him to look amused. "Maybe I'll see you both in the ring as partners, maybe I can...accompany you two tonight?" Bladewolf gave her a look. "I mean, the Dudleys have their 'Duchess of Dudleyville' with them all the time. Why not have a female wolf in the pack?"
Bladewolf snorted and crossed his arms, nodding a little. "We'll see. You keep looking damn good out there, baby girl."
Trish smiled. "You remember that kiss I ave you after you saved me from the boss?"
"I'm pretty sure that was just a reward, doesn't mean anything."
"Hey Blade!" Jackal walked into view to a pop from the fans. He paused, looking between Trish and Bladewolf. "Am I missing something here?"
"No." Trish said first and cleared her throat before she smiled at Bladewolf. "See you around, Wolfy Bye Jackal."
"See you, Trish." Jackal said as she left and he noticed Bladewolf watching her go and smirked. "You're staring at her ass, aren't you?"
Bladewolf snapped out of his gaze and glared at his partner. "Shut up. We need to focus on getting back our titles tonight and kicking everyone's ass if they piss us off."
Off screen
"And cut right there." The cameraman said once the segment was over and cut to the Dudley Boyz. "Good work guys." The cameraman walked away, as Jackal and George went out of character.
Before George could say anything to his brother, he caught Trish who had come back to leap at him and planted her lips on him, casing Jack to smirk. Trish broke the kiss and George looked damn pleased.
"Like that?" Trish giggled.
"Very much so." George said, putting her down.
"I'll go get our stuff ready, leave you two lovebirds alone." Jack chuckled and walked away.
"Sometimes I hate him." George sighed, shaking his head as he watched his brother leave.
"But you love him for it." Trish said with a smile, getting a shrug from George. "So, you ready for tonight?"
"Hell yeah." George said before he looked at his girlfriend. "You okay? i mean, nothing went wrong during your match out there with Amy, right?"
Trish shook her head, giving him a peck on the lips. "No I'm fine. I'm going to go shower, wash this sweat off me, then sit back and watch you and Jack wrestle tonight. Wanna head out to the bar afterwards?"
"Yeah. Now, I better go get ready for the match."
Trish nodded and gave her boyfriend one last kiss. "For luck."
George winked at her and the two parted ways to their locker rooms.
On screen
RAW had come back from the break and it was now time for the Dudley Boyz vs The Wolfpack Tornado Tag Team Tables match with the WWF Tag Team Titles on the line.
OOOOOWHOOOOOO!
'Hey man, we came to conquer and divide!'
Omen in the Sky plays to a pop and out comes the Wolfpack in their usual gear with Wolfpack shirts on. They begin their walk down the ramp with glares on their faces.
"The following is a Tornado Tag Team Tables match and it is for the World Wrstling Federation Tag Team championships! Introducing first, the Bladewolf and the Jackal...THE WOLFPACK!"
"That there is a duo that really desire to be 3-time Tag team champions tonight." R said as the Bladewolf rolls into the ring while Jackal walks up the steps. "They have been the Tag Team Champions twice and lost them thanks to the Alliance somehow. Their first reign ended when Shane made rumours of them defecting which was untrue, they lost them the second time to the Hardy Boyz after Booker T and Test cost them the titles, now they have a third chance tonight."
"I've been watching these past few months, I watched Bladewolf return and applaud him for what he put the Alliance through." Jerry Lawler said. "While he isn't responsible for destroying the Alliance like Kurt Angle was, he is a dominant and destructive monster. I've watched what he's done these past couple of weeks since Unforgiven."
The theme of the Wolfpack dies down as the Wolfpack leans against the ropes. the fireworks go off and the Dudley Boyz' theme hits to boos as the WWF World Tag Team Champions come out with Stacey Keibler beside them, their titles in hand, and a table in the other.
"As always, the Dudleys bringing some wood with them." JR said. "Last time this happened with Wolfpack, they put the Duelys through tables with their own finisher." JR said.
"It was funny to watch!" Lawler chuckled.
The Dudleys place the table down and enter the ring, quickly dropping the r titles and charge at the Wolfpack...AND HERE WE GO!
'Ding! Ding! Ding!'
Jackal faces off with Bubba Ray while Bladewolf and D-Von just unleash a fury of rights on each other, not bothering to lock up. Jackal clotheslines Bubba Ray over the top rope and goes out to deal with him.
"Jackal sending Bubba Ray out the ring, Bladewolf and D-Von still going at it in the ring." JR said. "The Wolfpack are deadly as we have seen, they use the numbers game and the two-on-one advantage."
"A good strategy for a team." Lawler pointed out.
Bladewolf clotheslines D-Von down and stomps away on him before he drops an elbow across the chest of D-Von. Outside the ring, Jackal was unloading on Bubba Ray who suddenly tackles him over the announce table and furiously pounds away.
Bladewolf lifts D-Von up and nails a powerslam and was about to do more when Stacey slides into the ring with a chair...AND WHACKS BLADEWOLF IN THE BACK! BUT IT HAD NO EFFECT!
"Ahh!" Lawler exclaimed.
"Uh oh!" JR said.
Bladewolf turned and glared at Stacey who quickly slides out the ring as Bladewolf goes after her, making her back up the ramp when suddenly Trish Stratus runs out and clobbers Stacey from behind!
"What the...?!" Lawler said in surprise and shock.
"Trish Stratus! She just clobbered Stacey Keibler." JR said, surprised as well.
Bladewolf looks at the downed Stacey before he looks at Trish and raises an eyebrow at her, causing Trish to grin at him and wink before she turned and began sauntering up the ramp with a sway in her hips. The males in the crowd wolf whistled as Bladewolf watched her go when he was attacked from behind by D-Von, causing him to return his attention back to the match.
"D-Von taking advantage of Bladewolf's distraction!" JR said before Bladewolf uppercuts D-Von. "But Bladewolf doesn't let it loose focus as he fights back!"
Bubba Ray runs up to aid D-Von, having dealt with Jackal already. The Dudleys double team Bladewolf before they both grab him, lift him up...AND HIT A DOUBLE SUPLEX ON THE RAMP!
"Oh!" Lawler exclaimed.
"Right on the ramp! That will hurt your spine." JR nodded.
The Dudleys pick Bladewolf up and bring him back to the ring, tossing him in. Bubba Ray slides in while D-Von goes to make sure Jackal is still down, but not before he slides in a table for Bubba Ray to use.
Uh oh, a table is in the ring." Lawler said.
"The Dudleys are deadly with those damn tables." JR said.
Bubba Ray starts setting up the table and he turns around...INTO A SPINEBUSTER! Bladewolf gets to a knee and sees D-Von beating on Jackal outside the ring so he goes through the middle rope to leave the ring and he grabs D-Von from behind, pulling him off and starts hammering away at his back, bringing D-Von down to his knees.
"Bladewolf coming to the aid of his partner." JR said.
Bladewolf grabs D-Von as Jackal rolls off the announce table. Bladewolf looks at the table before he lifts D-Von up...AND CHOKESLAMS HIM THROUGH IT!
"Chokeslam! Right through our announce tabel here!" JR shouted.
"I'm getting out the way!" Lawler said as Jackal picks D-Von up and tosses him into the ring. The Wolfpack slide into the ring and circle the Dudley Boys before Bladewolf says something to Jackal and he nods, leaving the ring. "What's he getting now?"
Jackal looks underneath the ring and pulls out another table, smirking. He slides it into the ring and slides in after it before he sets it up as Bladewolf grabs Bubba Ray and sets him up for The Last Ride. Jackal grabs D-Von and sets him up for the Jackal Bomb. They lift their opponents up...AND HIT THE LAST RIDE/JACKAL BOMB THROUGH THE TABLES! WE HAVE NEW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS
'Ding! Ding! Ding!'
Omen in the Sky plays as the Wolfpack stand tall. "Here are your winners and the NEW! World Wrestling Federation Tag Team Champions...THE WOLFPACK!"
"For the third time together, they have become the WWF Tag Team Champions and in dominating fashion." JR said as Bladewolf and Jackal are given their titles and they raise them. "Well done to them both."
"Yeah, but I want to know what that was with Trish Stratus." Jerry said, more interested in that.
"I'd ask her or the Wolfpack, King." JR said.
The Bladewolf and Jackal get on separate turnbuckles and raise their titles to pops from the crowd before they leave the ring and hug one another, holding their titles close as Stacey checks on the Dudley Boyz.
"Well done to these two young men once more, 3-time Tag Team Champions." JR said as the Wolfpack turn and head up the ramp.
Don't worry, this third reign will be LONGER than what the previous two were. Let's just say they will be Tag Team Champions come 2002 in this story.
