One week later, Olivia and Fitz were in Vermont again. Amelia was with Maya and Karen was with Isla. Olivia was expecting his mom to be at least somewhat like the woman from her dream. Isla was nothing like the dream. She was an emergency room physician. Her ex-husband was an alcoholic. Before she had Fitz, she dealt with an abusive marriage. The toxic man didn't get a chance to be a dad to Fitz. He died and Isla followed her dream of being a physician.

"You don't look happy."

"I can take a pregnancy test in two weeks."

"You took the pill. We drove all day to find a pharmacy that had it in stock. You are not pregnant."

"What if we don't go back to DC?"

"We can't stay in Vermont. Not yet."

"It's so peaceful here. No crying, whining, or running around the house. I don't know if I want to have the triplets and the twins. We have Amelia and Karen, and I'm already complaining. I never got a chance to be a regular twenty something. I want to go to parties. I want to dance at a club with you."

"We can find a nightclub. Livvie we don't have to stay in the cabin the whole weekend."

"There's nothing here."

"A bigger city is an hour away. I'm sure we can find something there. You can drink as much as you want. I'll drive us back to the cabin."

"What if I'm pregnant? I shouldn't drink alcohol if I'm having a baby."

"Livvie, you can have an abortion if you're pregnant. If you don't want the abortion, we can give the babies up for adoption when they're born. The only other option is to take them home with us. You don't want that. I want you to be happy, so if you're pregnant, you can choose an abortion or adoption. Now can we please stop talking about your possible pregnancy."

"Okay."

"Thank you."
