A/N– Thanks for the comments! Leasmom – Lol I don't mind. There are nannies in my area over the age of 25. There's no age limit. Larissa's making good money and is happy, so she stayed with it. I pictured her as 29 or 30. I did say at the beginning that I played with the ages and on the show, they sorased Jason back to closer to his original age on the show which was 1981. It was changed to 1978 when they made Jason Drew's twin, so I was sticking with that. I just looked it up, and I think they bumped that back again because he's 47 now on the show, but I'm sticking with 1978 because I didn't know that. I wish they'd stop messing around with Jason's age. So, in this story, they are around 42. Liz was born in 1982, but I read it was revised to 1981. I was thinking she was 39 in this story. So, Drew would be around 12 years older than Larissa which isn't too crazy, but I haven't shown that Drew has an interest. His head is truly not there. Guest – You're right. I can't even remember a good redemption. But Liz doesn't think she's in purgatory, so nice try lol. And I agree re: the money thing. It's so stupid and redundant. I hate that Britt is COS. I think I'm in the minority that I hate Liesl and that she got away with shooting Liz and she was COS and now Britt…seriously? They treat the villains way better than the normal characters who never get a break.

Posted a new chapter of Dirty Little Secret on my site if you missed it.

Chapter 51

The Cathedral was gorgeous, and everyone enjoyed Liz talking passionately about art at the museum.

Dinner was fun and Liz was happy to see Drew relaxing and joking around. Later, they had a little talk.

"Hey, what are you doing out here?"

"Oh, I just wanted some fresh air. Are you having fun?"

He nodded. "Thanks for inviting me. Danny is having a blast with your boys."

"He's a sweetheart."

"Did you feel overwhelmed a lot?"

"Yes. There were times I truly didn't think I could do it, but I feel like the right person was placed in front of me every time I needed it."

"I'm still wrapping my mind around the fact she'll never come walking through my door. I can never apologize for what was said."

"You can now, and she'll hear you and I'm sure she'll forgive you too. Mourn for her when you need too, but you can't stay in that space forever. Danny needs you to be okay because it gives him permission to live." She rested her head on his arm. "I'm so glad you're with us. My worry level would be off the charts if you were still in Port Charles."

"I needed this and my friend back."

She smiled. "I will always be your friend and I'm glad that you and Jason are bonding more."

"I want to get the surgery done by the end of September. I can't fully be me without it. It's like living a lie." The doctor is going to let him know when he is available.

"I understand. We'll meet with the doctor to find out what kind of care you'll need afterward."

"I'll be in Switzerland for the surgery. Gia will stay at the cottage with the kids." He had already reached out to her and she agreed.

"Do you want me to come to Switzerland or keep an eye on the kids?"

"I was hoping you'd stay for them and maybe Jason could come with me. It will only be for a few days. If I need to recover for longer, then I'll deal on my own."

"Did he tell you anything more regarding your memory of the last five years? Will you lose it?"

"He's not sure. There is a chance that I may get a bit scrambled."

"Are you scared?"

"Yes, but if I don't take this chance—most of my memories are Jason's, not mine. It's just wrong. If I don't remember the kids, I need to trust that I was a good man before and I'll still love them. If something goes wrong—"

"It won't, but I will take care of the kids. I promise."

He stood and pulled her into his arms. "I will always love you, Elizabeth, even if I don't remember you. Thank you." Words can not express how much she means to him. After he was initially injured, she had taken care of him and gave him hope that he could overcome his situation.

Jason stood in the doorway and then started to move away, feeling helpless, but Drew saw him and stopped him.

Elizabeth wiped her face. "We were talking about the surgery."

Jason nodded. They had spoken about it earlier, so he's aware of the timing.

"I'm going to go lie down for a bit." Drew closed the door behind him, and Jason moved forward.

"Are you okay?"

"Yes and no. I'm just scared for him. If he doesn't remember, then what does that mean for the kids or even us? He'll feel so lost."

"He feels that way now. He's struggling because he doesn't feel like he has his own identity."

"I can't even imagine. I just—this needs to work out, Jason. Danny will be crushed if something happens and Drew dies."

"I know. The decision is eating him up inside. It's a risk he feels he needs to make so he can be authentic and be a better father."

They embraced. "I'll let it go for now, but eventually, I'll need a good cry over it."

He kissed the top of her head. "We just have to have faith." Sitting Danny down to explain everything is going to be brutal.

The next day, everyone was excited to find out what surprise Jason had planned. A small minibus was waiting for them and the Webber clan, Danny, and Jason got situated and then waved to Drew, Karissa, and Alana who would go to the zoo a little later.

The drive to Cumbernauld was beautiful and a few times they got out so Elizabeth could take some pictures to possibly paint later. Jason had anticipated that, so he was prepared timewise. When they finally arrived at a small airport, the boys started freaking out with excitement.

"Alright, we're getting on that helicopter over there," Jason pointed. "I've arranged to combine a couple of tours. We're going to get to see Stirling Castle and the Wallace Monument from Braveheart, and then the Loch Lomond." He did one for the boys and one for Liz. "It will take about an hour and fifteen minutes.

A loud cheer was heard, and they got off the bus and headed to the terminal to meet the pilot. He went over all safety rules and then they got settled inside the helicopter as they waited for their Braveheart tour to begin.

Liz gripped Jason's hand as the helicopter started to move. Her eyes conveyed how thankful she is, and he just smiled pleased that he had made her happy.

The ride was fantastic, and they took as many pictures as possible. Jason had bought a GoPro camera to take video. The land was so lush and green, and Elizabeth wants to return and go see more of the countryside.

When they got out, Jason is pleasantly surprised when everyone hugged him. The whole way back the boys talked about what they had seen and compared pictures.

"You did good," Liz said.

"I'm glad it was a hit."

"Thank you. I'll always treasure that. It's so gorgeous here."

"I want to take you further north."

"I'm down for anything." She couldn't imagine what he spent on this trip, but it is so appreciated. Hearing the boys get so excited about something other than a video game is music to her ears.

Later that day, the boys hung out with Drew and went to dinner while Jason and Liz took time out to have a private one downstairs. She had put on a dress and heels and they had a lovely meal.

"This is perfect," she said as they swayed to the music.

"You and the boys are a gift that I'll always cherish."

"Oh, Jason."

"I mean it. I love spending time with them."

"They enjoy being around you too."

Jason reverently kissed her. "I would love to take more trips like this as a family."

"I don't think the boys will mind, but I also like spending time with you alone."

"Oh, I plan on making that happen too."

The song finished so she grabbed her purse and they headed upstairs after Jason tipped the waitress and bartender.

When they got into the room, Liz turned on the radio. "One more dance?"

"You can have as many as you like."

His kisses are swoon-worthy, and she moans as his hand slides down her back. When it cups her ass, he lifts her and deposits her on the bed as he kisses her neck, making her shiver with anticipation.

After a few minutes of driving her crazy, he buries his head against her neck. "Elizabeth…"

"I know. I'm not sure how we're going to make it until my birthday."

He lets out a whimper at the thought making her grin.

"I'm glad you feel just as tortured as I do."

"Over seven years, and you are just…" His voice trails off as he lustfully stares.

"You know, I could take care of that for you."

He groans and then crawls away from her. "You are like my kryptonite. I can't think straight when you say things like that."

She rolls onto her side to face him. "When you said make out, did you mean more than kissing?"

He is saved when there's a loud thumping in the hallway and then pounding on their door.

Liz rushes to it and opens it and the baby is shoved into her arms.

"I'll be back."

The door shuts as Liz eyes, Alana. "What is going on?"

They hear a scream from outside and Jason runs to the window and grins.

"What happened?"

"The hotel must have had super soakers unless the guides brought them over."

Liz moves next to them and catches Drew lifting Karissa and using her as a shield, making Liz laugh.

"I'm glad we're in here."

Karissa screams, as she laughs, and then Drew, lets her go and takes off running while the boys chase him.

"Should we bring some towels downstairs?"

"I can see if they need them, but I'm not going outside." He wants no part of their antics.

He moves into the hallway and looks over the banister and sees a woman carrying a stack of towels and smiles and then returns.

"It's covered."

She moved to the bed and put the baby in the center and then Jason stood her up to show her how to bounce. Alana babbles away as she bounces and then walks around.

"She's so cute," Liz said.

"Yeah."

She falls on Jason and is lifted into the air as she laughs. They played with her for about forty-five minutes and then there was a knock and Liz answered it.

Karissa moved inside. "Thanks for watching her."

"I saw him using you as a sacrifice."

She grinned. "It was fun. They ganged up on Cam."

"That sounds about right." He always ends up on the bottom of the pile.

Karissa grabbed the baby. "Enjoy the rest of you night."

After she was gone, Liz stretched out next to Jason again. "What do you wish you could change about the past?"

He thought for a moment. "I wish I would have told you that I loved you that day in the park and you would have taken my hand and come away with me."

"Oh, Jason. I was so stuck on Lucky. I wish I would have left with you too. Everything would have been so different. Although, I don't regret my boys, maybe they could have all been yours."

"They will be."

She touched his face. "Ask me right now."

He slightly smiled. "Elizabeth, I love you. Will you go away with me?"

Her smile is a mile long. "Yes. Always. I love you too."

They shared a languid kiss, full of hope and love. When they pulled apart, he gazed at her with eyes full of love. "It's so easy to love you."

"Ditto. That was never our problem."

"True."

"That day in the park, I couldn't admit that I was falling for you. God, I was so stupid, because you were everything I could want. Never again, Jason."

"No running…"

"Not unless we're running toward each other."

"Deal."

A smirk eased onto her face. "Can you still run? You're getting old on me. Is that a gray hair?"

He tickled her relentlessly until she had to pee and make a mad dash for the bathroom.

He checked on the boys and they were playing some games on their phone and then got ready for bed.

When she came out, she put on her pajamas and they got settled.

"You ready for tomorrow?"

"Yup."

He just hopes Lucky is in a good mood and there will be no trouble.

IiIiIiIiIiIiIiIiIiIi

They got up early the next morning and packed up the car and headed to Glasgow. Jason would have rather gone somewhere up north, but it was convenient for Lucky.

The whole way there, Jake felt uneasy and his breathing was shallow. He prayed that he could hold it together for a few more days.

When they arrived, they checked into their hotel and put their things inside, and then met downstairs. Jason had cars ready and they took a driving tour and then got out and looked around. There is a mural trail in the city centre with so much artwork that it kept Liz busy. The boys thought it was cool too.

Someone tapped on Liz's shoulder and she smiled. "Hey, Lucky."

He noticed that she is holding hands with Jason. "This is Gillian."

Liz smiled. She is pretty and has reddish-blonde hair. "Hello."

Gillian smiled. She wasn't sure what to think about Liz. When Lucky had found out about her being a mob boss, he was pissed and Gillian heard an earful, but she decided to just go with the flow for the trip and get a feel for her.

"This is Jason."

"Hello." He eyed Lucky. "Hey."

"Hey."

Aidan gave his dad and Gillian a hug and then the boys were introduced.

"We were just walking around and were going to get some souvenirs. I need to get something for Piph."

"That sounds good."

Aidan tells Lucky all about the helicopter ride as they walked and showed him some pictures.

"Liz," Lucky said.

She turned and he pointed at a mural and she smiled. "Very cool…"

They shopped and Liz found a hairband for Piph and a scarf. They also spotted a few things for the Giambetti men and then headed to lunch at the Drygate Brewery.

Gillian and Elizabeth sat next to each other and chatted it up so they could get to know each other.

Lucky noticed that Jake was quiet but decided to leave him be for now.

"So, what's next?"

"I thought we walk up to the Necropolis. It has great views," Jason said. It's a little gloomy, but hopefully, the rain will hold out.

"Isn't that a graveyard?" Aidan asked.

"Yes, but there's a lot of history there and I thought you'd like the view. We can go to the Cathedral first."

"That sounds fine," Cam said.

Liz found out that Gillian is also in IT, but she also loves to dance and make jewelry. They were getting along famously.

After they ate, they went to the Cathedral. Everyone was in awe of the structure. Alana fell asleep on Jason, so he just carried her on the walk to the Necropolis.

As they moved up higher, the group split apart, and Gillian, Jason, Aidan, Liz, Cam, and Larissa had moved forward more quickly, and Jake and Lucky had trailed behind.

"How are you doing?" Lucky asked.

A pain shot through Jake's head making him grimace. "I'm fine."

"I want to apologize for leaving. I should have stayed longer and helped which is why I feel like I failed you."

"It wasn't your responsibility."

"I thought of you as my son. Maybe you don't realize it, but Helena brainwashed me when I was younger. It was brutal when I came home. She screwed with my head and I thought Liz should be with Nikolas and I was horrible to be around. Helena did a lot of damage. I guess, what I'm trying to say is that if you need to talk, then I'll listen. It was tough getting beyond what she did, so maybe I could help."

Jake stopped and then turned to face him. "I have my father to help me. I don't need you."

There is so much hate and bitterness laced in his words that Lucky is taken aback.

Drew glances back at them, noticing that Jake is tense. "Jason?"

He turned. "Yeah."

"Give me the baby."

When the baby was handed off, Drew moved his head and Jason's focus went over his shoulder in time to see Jake shove Lucky. "Shit."
