Someone made a review saying they'd like to see more chapters featuring the married life between all the girls.

And that's a lot of untapped potential! I never even thought of doing that! I can easily get like 15 or 20 chapters based on that subject alone.

So here ya go! A Constance chapter to get us started.

Enjoy!

Constance let out exasperated sigh as they entered their room.

"By the Goddess! You would think these nobles would learn how to compromise every once in a while!" Constance turned around to face her ever stoic husband, her frown turning into a bright smile.

"Thankfully I have you and your frightening gaze to assist me!"

Byleth frowned slightly. "I hope that's not all you see in me..." He said. Constance blushed and panicked slightly.

"O-Of course not! Surely you know it was merely just a jest!" She stammered, Byleth smiling as she did. Constance puffed out her cheeks in a pout. "I would rather you not mess me with like that. Now, come help me out of this suffocating outfit!"

"...After which we will need to meet EXACTLY at 3 for the meeting with that one noble, but...Hmm...That won't leave us a lot of time to make it to the next meeting, we may have to reschedule that one and...Byleth, are you listening?"

The man stirred from his spot next to Constance on their bed. It was late at night, and Constance was holding a piece of paper in her hand. Going over their meetings for tomorrow.

"Yeah, I'm listening."

Constance frowned, setting down down the piece of paper on the night stand located on her side of the bed. Turning to her husband. "Byleth...Is something wrong?"

Byleth shook his head, sitting up in bed and turning to his noble wife. "Yeah, I'm just a little tired from the meetings. They aren't my specialty"

Constance turned in the bed to fully face her husband. "Really? You did quite well when you were my Professor. Not to mention you've become quite the noble yourself!"

Byleth smirked slightly. "I remember you calling me a 'mere commoner' when we first met." Constance blushed. "T-That was merely a folly of my youth...I was ignorant at the time, and you know that!"

Byleth nodded "You're right, I'm sorry I'm just tired from today." Byleth laid back down in the bed, Constance staring down at her lap as he did.

"Well...What would you have me do?"

Byleth turned his head to look at Constance, sitting up again. "What do you mean?"

"I do not wish to burden you with the life of a noble, out of everyone you deserve to live the rest of your life in peace...Yet recently it feels as if I've merely been dragging you along. Forcing you into these meetings, making you go along with my dreams..." Constance shook her head. "It doesn't feel right...Being this selfish..."

"That hasn't stopped you before."

"No...I suppose it hasn't...But we're...Husband and Wife now. We have to support each other."

Constance turned to look at him, a solemn look upon her usually bright face. "So...What do you want, Byleth?"

"I want to be by your side. Forever and always." Byleth did not hesitate in his answer.

"But have you ever...Wanted to go back to being a mercenary?"

Byleth frowned. "Constance..."

"Hearing you talk about your mercenary days almost made me envious of just how simple it was...And now I've forced you into this chaotic life style, of which you have no familiarity with... "

"You didn't force me into anything, I chose this life, I chose to marry you."

"B-But you turned down the role of the Archbishop! Just to be with me!"

"And I do not regret making that decision"

"But why!? You would've had so much!"

Byleth shook his head. "If anything I'd be more busy than I am now, plus we wouldn't be able to see each other that often."

Constance got to her knees, sitting on their bed as she faced Byleth. "You say that, but look at yourself!"

Byleth chuckled. "I'm fine Constance. I've been through worse. Where is this all coming from anyway? Did something happen?"

Constance was looking away again, rubbing her arm as she sat on her knees on their large bed. "It's been about a year since we've had our wedding...And I've yet to make any substantial progress on restoring my House...Even after I promised you so much..."

"You didn't think it was going to be that easy, did you?"

Constance shook her head. "Of course not...But I just expected...More...I mean all I have to show for it is this little home of ours and few acres of land..." Constance finally turned to look at Byleth. "And I know that this is more than enough for you, but for me..." Constance trailed off, ever since they had gotten married Constance has been more self-conscious of her selfish tendencies.

"Constance, I understand. I'm fine with you being selfish, rather I prefer it. Since you're always so direct..."

Constance moved towards her husband, straddling his lap as she rested her hands on his shoulder. Byleth instinctively bringing his hands to rest on her hips. Constance stared down at him, the same sad look on her face.

"I just don't want you to regret marrying me...It was not my plan to burden you with all this, I only wanted us to live a life of luxury." Tears begin to slowly run down Constance's face.

Byleth trailed a hand from Constance's hips up her body and to her face, holding a cheek in his hand as he wiped away a tear with his thumb. "No one said this was going to be easy...But I'll be with you every step of the way."

Constance leaned her head into his hand, resting her own hand on top of his. Closing her eyes and smiling softly, remaining silent for a bit before she opened them. "You truly do not regret marrying me?"

"I would never even dare to think of it. You are my wife after all."

"Y-Your wife..." Constance blushed hearing her title. It always made her heart beat faster upon hearing her husband refer to her as such. She looped her arms around his neck.

"Very well then, I will cancel the remaining meetings for this week."

Byleth's eyes widened as he let his hand fall back to her hips. "Why would you do that?"

Constance smiled devilishly "My darling husband isn't feeling well. My house can wait, you can not." Byleth smirked slightly upon hearing that. "Thank you Constance..."

Constance placed her hands on his chest and pushed him against the bed. "Now, as your wife allow me to relieve all that pent up stress, hm?"

"Isn't that a bit much?"

"For you my love, nothing is too much."

Byleth might've been exhausted. But when it came to his wife, he would do anything for her. He simply loved her too much, and she loved him just as much.

Felt a little weak in my opinion. But I've been known to be hard on myself. Next up is an after-married Annette story.

Another thanks to T.S. Atlas. Seriously that man has been a huge help to me and this story.

Until next time!
