Epilogue
Fifteen years later
Caitlin was sitting on the living room couch reading a book when H.R. came down the stairs. He was heading out on a date. A date with a girl that she and Barry hadn't met yet. Not that she was concerned. H.R. was a good kid. He knew not to tell the family secret. He had inherited his father's speed, while his sisters, Danielle had gotten both her parents powers and Crystal only got her mother's. The sixteen year old triplets were training so that they could one day take up their parents mantel of defending Central City. Cisco was already calling H.R. the new Kid Flash. Wally the former Kid Flash was now going by Inertia. Danielle was being called Blizzard and Crystal Ice. They had two younger siblings thirteen year old Olivia Nora who also seemed to have gotten super speed from her father and nine year old Thomas Joseph. Who they named for Caitlin's father who unfortunately Caitlin and Carla were not able to cure of Icicle. He was killed by another meta after he escaped the pipeline, and for Joe West who had finally died from his injuries a month after Barry and Caitlin married. TJ as he liked to be called had powers much like his mother and sister Crystal. Cisco still hadn't come up with what he felt were the perfect code names for the younger two members of the Snow-Allen family. The ringing of the door bell broke Caitlin out of her thoughts. She put her bookmark in her book and got up and opened the door to find a young man standing there.
"Hi uh Dr. Snow-Allen?"
"Yes can I help you?" asked Caitlin eying the boy.
"Uh yes ma'am. I have a date with Danielle. I'm Ronnie Stein. I am pretty sure you know my grandfather. Professor Martin Stein."
"Come in. My husband is working late tonight."
"Yes ma'am. I take it that Dani didn't mention having a date tonight?"
"No she didn't."
"Of course not. I want you to know that I like and respect your daughter."
"I have no doubt about that Ronnie."
Caitlin heard a noise on the stairs. Seeing TJ she sent him an icy look.
"Go tell Dani her date is here. Then you and I will have a talk about spying on other people Thomas Joseph." Said Caitlin
The young boy just nodded and ran up the stairs. A few minutes later Danielle came down the stairs. She smiled at Ronnie in a way Caitlin had never seen her oldest child smile before.
"Dani have fun. But remember your curfew is still eleven." Said Caitlin
"I know mom. See you later." Said Danielle
Caitlin watched the two teens go. Then she climbed the stairs to go talk to her youngest child. She found his bedroom door open. He was sitting at his computer typing away. The computer like the rest of the ones the kids had was a gift from Bruce Wayne. The newest model from Wayne Enterprises.
"TJ, your dad and I told you more then once that it is not nice to spy on people."
"I know mom. It's just none of us have met H.R.'s girlfriend. So I thought I would just take a peek at Dani's boyfriend. I am sorry."
"Just don't do it again. I wouldn't want you to upset your sister and have her super speed you to the middle of the South American jungle or something."
"Yeah that would be bad. Dad or H.R. would have to come and find me."
"Very true. By the way you staying out of trouble on that computer?"
"Yeah mom. Just playing this game. I'm the Green Arrow and have to stop the Undertaking in Star City."
"You do know Uncle Ollie wasn't called that when the Undertaking took place. And it was still called Starling City back then."
"I know."
"Well have fun."
Caitlin walked down the hall to find Olivia was talking to one of her friends on the phone. Olivia was definitely a lot more outgoing then either of her parents were. She then went to Crystal's room and knocked on the door.
"Come in."
Caitlin entered the room to find her daughter laying on her bed working on her homework.
"Crystal no date tonight?"
"Nope. Not that I expect to go on many."
"Honey, it's ok. I didn't date much at your age. Maybe when you get to college you will find someone you like enough to date."
"Mom, you said someone. Not a guy."
"Honey, you don't think I haven't noticed that you have never been interested in boys? Both your father and I noticed."
"So it doesn't bother you that I maybe gay?"
"Crystal Joy, why would it bother me? Or your dad for that matter. We won't love you any less. Have you forgotten your Aunt Alex and Aunt Kelly? Or what about your Aunt Sara who is bisexual? Do you think that we have any problems with them?"
"No. I just didn't know how to bring it up. There is a girl I like at school. But I don't know if she likes me like that. I don't even know if she likes girls like that."
"You could try talking to her."
"I will try."
"Good and tell your dad. He loves you so much."
"I will mom. Love you."
"Love you always."
Caitlin kissed her daughter on top of her head and headed down the stairs as Barry came home. She walked up to him and gave him a kiss.
"So how did things go?" asked Caitlin
"Nothing I couldn't handle. I think some of these metas are getting dumber."
"Or maybe the Flash is just way smarter."
"Well I did come to my senses and marry you."
"That you did. So Dani is out on a date with Professor Stein's grandson."
"That is good. Still no idea who H.R. is seeing."
"No clue. When she is ready Crystal is going to want to tell you something."
"Is it what we talked about?"
"Yeah. TJ is on his computer trying to save Star City from Malcom Merlyn's Undertaking."
"For real? What about Olivia?"
"On her phone talking to one of her million friends."
"So we can go up to our room for the rest of the night?"
"I think that sounds like a good idea."
"I love you Caitlin Snow-Allen."
"I love you Barry Allen."
