I rolled out from under the machine. "Hatsume, socket wrench, I'm almost done under here." I said as she handed me the tool. This machine that we had been working on, for months now from my plans. Project Asteroid. The clicking of the wrench filled my thoughts as I tightened the bolt. It was a mixture of Saiyan Tech, and my own research, but the improvements of Hatsume had brought the projected results beyond what I could have on my own. I knew there was only one use of the machine. And I knew I had to be the one to test it...

"Astero, our baby is complete." She said as I rolled out from under it. I stood up and ran a hand along the surface of the bare metal. Years of simulations, calculations, and hard work. It was all here. "The change will be permanent." She said as she plugged it in, "And the predicted survival rate is eighty percent."

In the time that we had been working on this I had asked myself several times if I should do this. I knew I couldn't get stronger like the other students, and with Boreal on his way Hatsume and I had expediated the work. Not fully letting Power Loader know exactly the purpose of the machine. "Hatsume, If this fails burn the blueprints." I said as I took off my sweater and climbed inside before fully taking everything, the feeling of cold metal on my skin as the hatch closed. "Begin the augmentation and cybernetic enhancements." I said as I looked at a gleaming blade and swallowed hard as I pulled a mask on my face as the chamber filled with healing pod fluid.

No one could my screams as my body was cut and apart and rebuilt, chemicals injected and parts installed.

Chapter 107: The Tuffle-Saiyan Android Tech

I sat at the table with the girls, Mirio, Izuku and Miruko. Ka'ne and I greedily dug into the piles of food. "Fuma, please chew." Izuku patted me on the back as some of the food went down the wrong pipe.

Mirio just laughed as Eri ate apple slices. "Will I see you at the festival?" Eri asked. I looked at the red eyed child who sat between me and Ka'ne.

I smiled as I patted her hair. "Of course. We will be in the show than we will spend the day with you two." I ruffled her hair.

"What about that bog speech you have to do?" Miruko asked me. "You are the figure head for the Saiyan's on this world."

"I have been working with the others to finalize it. I am just waiting on the ceremonial armor to be made." I said to the hero before taking a sip from my juice, when I set it down a rubble disturbed the surface. Then the table shook knocking it over then a explosion shook the silence. I covered the girls as we all stood up. Looking out the window, one of the school wings glass windows were blown out.

"Support Department." Izuku said as We looked to the Hero.

"You go, I'll keep these ones safe." We nodded as we took off running, then flying over the crowd as people were calmed down by the hero department students. Soon we arrived at the door to the support department, the reinforced steel door blasted from the second floor to the court yard. Smoke billowed out the doorway. We stepped inside to see fires burning around a destroyed machine, standing in front of Hatsume as she was on her rear in the middle of the room was a figure smoking, the identity obscured to us.

"What's going on?" Powerloader and Aizawa ran in behind us along with Nakono and Kalna. Bakugo and Kirishima soon followed them. "Who are you!?" the mechanical hero demanded as we got ready for a laugh.

Hatsume leaped to her feet and squealed in glee. Completely ignoring us as she started taking measurements from the completely compliant person. "IT WORKED!"

The smoke cleared up and standing in the center of the room was... "Astero?" Kirishima asked.

"Projects Technoid and Asteroid were a success." The formerly child sized Saiyan said. He looked at his...

"Cybernetic enhancements," Nakono said said as he stepped forward.

"Replacements. Only about fifty percent of my biological body is left, almost entirely internal, with my new body designed to channel both my natural power and twin improved energy engines." He said as Hatsume raced around the burning lab taking measurements and readings.

"This is... inhumane! Hatsume this has gone too far!" Powerloader took a step towards the girl but Astero stepped infront of him.

"Sir with all due respect this was my plan." I noticed his tail swish behind him. "This was my plan to harness the transformation I underwent in the raid."

"Transformation?" Kalna asked as we looked at the cyborg.

He grinned as he clenched his fist as his stance widened his eyes flashed blue, hair stood on end and a white-gold aura sparked around him. The building rumbled as he unleashed a unholy scream. His hair turned bleach white, red lines came from his eyes as he smiled at us. "Saiyan Tuffle hybrid, I have artificially harnessed my power."

We were all stunned before Bakugo burst out laughing. "God damn it monkey boy. You did it." He pushed in front of us as the fires were extinguished. The two looked each other in the eye before they both laughed.

"Explosion boy." Astero smiled as he powered down.

I turned around and stormed out Izuku on my heel. "Fuma, what's wrong?" He grabbed my shoulder.

"Astero, Ka'ne, they can harness their Super Saiyan forms..." I said wanting to kick myself. "Astero literally changed his body to do so."

"Can't you?"

"No, I have tried everyday since, but... I just can't." I ground my teeth. "I didn't need a scouter to know he is stronger then me now." I looked at Deku. "I don't understand, what am I doing wrong?"

He pulled me into a hug. "It isn't that simple, right? Your power is different from thier's right?"

I just looked at him as I sighed. "I..."

Late that night I laid in bed, my own bed. I brushed my hair out of my face as I looked at the ceiling before getting up and walking over to the small shrine to my parents. I knelt in front of my mother's bow and arrow. "Mom, dad... I don't know if you'll hear this, but... please. I need to know... is something wrong with me? Why... why was I born so weak? Yet I had that power inside me?"

No response.

"Am I doomed to only have that power when I'm in danger? What if I need it... but I can't use it?" I swallowed hard. "I am afraid. Of my own power, both of it controls me, and if it fails me." I looked at the ground. "I just want to know what I'm doing wrong, where do I go from here?"

Silence.

My fingers pulled at my night clothes. "I want to be... you wanted... I need..." I started to tear up. "I'm scared, Boreal is coming and here I am preparing for a school festival." I looked at the weapon. "What would you do?"

Deafening silence.

I looked at the armor. "Who am I fooling? I'm no warrior, much less a hero..." I wiped my face. "I'm just a kid."

There was a knock on the door. "Fuma." I opened the door and standing in the doorway was Harp. "May I come in?" He asked.

I just tilted my head towards the the desk chair. I sat on the bed. "What is this about?"

"I heard you." He said while pointing at his ears, "Namkeian."

I just sighed. "Fine, you know." I turned away from him.

"I understand."

"How could you?" I asked.

"How could I?" He asked himself, "My father was known as the Demon King. I was born to terrorize." I remained silent. "I spent years attacking innocents, destroying cities, killing men, women, and children because I felt that was my only option, then I met my uncle, Kami the guardian of the world I was born on. He showed me another way, showed that I didn't have to be the monster I was born as. I found two masters to train under, the two that had spent their lives fighting my father and my siblings."

I looked at him. "And they didn't kill you on the spot?" I asked.

"They wanted too, but I pleaded with them, begged to learn. To stop my villainous father and seal him away. That was three centuries ago. I was hailed as a hero, but I felt like I didn't deserve it from the same people I had hunted, so I left for the stars. For a hundred years I was alone, I had no one and then I met the Galactic Patrol as they were defending a world from King Cold's grands father's forces. In fact I fought him and drove him off world. Once again I felt like I didn't deserve, but they insisted that I meet their king. That I join their force for good. And I have been there for nearly two centuries."

"You are telling me to move forward?" I asked.

He nodded. "When I met the twins, I was under orders to kill any Saiyan I could. Many adults of your kind fell to me. But... when I arrived on the the planet, It was the two of them. Just, playing in the woods like kids. Granted they did attack me, but I couldn't kill another child." I looked down "You are too hard on yourself." He put his powerful hand on my shoulder. "You are a hero. You are more of a hero then I am."

I looked up at him. "What... can I do?"

He gave a small smile. "Your best. No one could ask more of you."

Hey. That got a bit more touchy then I meant.
