Can't Hide a Thing:

Kendall never thought she would be making out with Kick on the dance floor, let alone feeling his hands on her again like they were. She thought this was only possible in her dreams. But now she was doing this in real life. She was losing her breath, feeling dizzy, feeling in a haze, and was loving every moment of it. He was making her heart race, her body warm, and she wanted more, even if she felt if she might pass out any second.

Their kissing deepened. His hand traveling down her side to her thigh. He loved feeling her body so close to his, making her breathless. He never thought he would be like this, except in his mind, but now he was making out with the girl he loves. The girl he thought was beyond his limits, out of his reach, and always tempting him in ways he couldn't imagine. Feeling the skin on her thigh, it gave him a high. He knew he should have more control, but he was loving this moment, loving every second with her. He inched his fingers up her thigh, loving the fact he was making her gasp more into the kiss.

"Kick…" She breathed, trying to gain some air, but she couldn't. He helped with that, as he loved her reactions. Loved the fact he was making her so breathless, to the point she couldn't even breathe. He gave her some air as he kissed her. She stared up at him, breathing hard. "Did…did you just…." She was trying to ask, after he left her lips.

"I don't want you passing out on me." He replied. "The fact I can get you so breathless, is amazing though." He was really loving that fact as he pecked her lips. She was in more of daze. 'He just gave me air…oh this boy…' She was more in love, and didn't want to leave this moment, as he let his lips trail down her jaw and neck, nipping and kissing on her pulse. She felt his hand travel up to the rim of her shorts and ghosting along the lower part of her stomach. She let out another breathless gasp.

"Kick…" She glanced down, as he stopped kissing along her neck. "I… how far….how far are we…" She was curious, not that she didn't mind being with him like that, since she wasn't pushing him away, although she wasn't sure if she was completely ready for that final thing, however she wanted to know how far they would go at this moment. That's when he realized he needed to regain himself. He was seriously losing it. He loved that she loved him for so long that it drove him crazy. He let out a breath, before kissing her lips lightly again.

"I…I think it's best we stop…" He let out, knowing he needed to, sitting up, and helping her up. "Besides I want to take you out on a first date before doing anything like that." He had a small smirk towards her, which made her blush more, if she already wasn't red enough. Her heart about to burst more. "I mean…" He glanced away. "That's if you want to that is." He added. "And…and want to be my girlfriend that is." She pressed her lips together, her eyes widening a little. 'He just…Kick Buttowski just asked me out… and to be…be his girlfriend.' She squeaked in her head. She hugged him, which shocked him a little, but he wrapped his arms around her.

"Yes…" She was quiet. "I…of course I do…" She was happy as she buried herself in his warm embrace more. "I would love to be." He smiled at her response, kissing the top of her head.

"I'm glad." He ran his hands through her hair a bit. She glanced up as he did that. He couldn't help pressing his lips to hers again. "You…you really make this hard…" He whispered after releasing her lips, before kissing her again. She was sinking into it, his mind telling him he needed to control himself more, however all he could do was bring her closer.

Suddenly her phone started to ring, which caused them to stop, for a brief moment. She glanced at it. He let his lips go to her ear as they stayed in their embrace. "Do you need to get it?" He asked.

"It could be Linnie." She replied, though, she didn't want to leave his arms. He let out a breath as he stopped his actions and let her go. She missed the warmth, as did he, but he motioned for her to get her phone.

"Best you answer it." He smiled. She nodded, getting up, her knees still feeling a bit wobbly from the fact she was light headed and from everything that had happened, although was still able to grab her phone.

"Hello?" She answered, picking up the device. Kick also getting up and going to grab his shirt to put it back on.

"Hey Kends, how's the work out going?" She didn't realize she placed it on speaker when she answered. "Is it helping?"

"Hey Jackie," Kendall should have guessed it was her that called. "Ah…well yeah, it um…yeah I feel a bit better." She glanced back at Kick who was walking towards her now, his shirt back on. She bit the inside of cheek as she blushed turning back around. 'Maybe Jackie was right that one time, dancing does work wonders.' She mused in her thoughts.

"Really? That's good." Jackie commented. "Think you can talk to Kick then, so you can get this all cleared up with him?" She asked. "I know we all want you guys to talk again." She added, the phone's speaker picking up a few other voices the two over heard. Kendall was about to say something about the thing being resolved, however, Kick covered her mouth, and whispered in her ear. He didn't want the others knowing he was there, which she figured was for his own privacy and she didn't mind. She glanced at him, nodding. "Kends, you there?"

"Huh…oh yeah." Kendall spoke up. "Sorry, was uh… getting water." She lied. "But, um, yeah…" She continued. "Um…Hey are you with someone?" She tried to change the topic.

"Oh yeah." Jackie replied. "I'm with Brianna and Gunther at Kick's place. I was alone though, although now…" Kendall could hear the voices on the other side again. "Hold on I'm going to put you on speaker." She heard the phone shuffle a bit.

"Hey Kends." Brianna's voice rang.

"Hey." Kendall responded.

"Heard you're at the gym." Brianna said. "You wouldn't happened to have seen my brother yet have you?" Kendall tensed as she looked at Kick, who just shook her head. Kendall swallowed. "He's been going there for the last few days, but I don't think…I mean…he probably not going anywhere near the dance rooms but the weight and training rooms." She mentioned.

"Uh…well I mean… I've seen his fan girls." Kendall answered. "When I would come in or go get water. His and Gunther's fans that is." She spoke. "I…I just thought they were dedicated fans you know." She informed. "That they thought your brother and Gunther came here every day or something." Brianna let out a huff.

"Right…his damn fans." She had an attitude the way she said that which Kendall noticed.

"Bri…" Kendall was about to say something.

"Don't Kends." She halted her. "He is an idiot with his fans and I have every right to say that as his sister." Kendall felt bad, she glanced at Kick who seemed to feel somewhat the same way. She grabbed his hand, which caused him to look at her, their fingers intertwining, as his thumb rubbed circles around her hand. "Things are…He just an idiot and he knows it." Brianna added. "Especially with those damn fans."

"Um…I'm going to take the phone for a bit." Jackie told Brianna. "I'll be right back." There was a bit of silence. "Okay Kends I'm alone." Jackie came back.

"Okay…" Kendall had a curious look.

"There is a huge misunderstanding here Kends." Jackie started. "You need to tell Kick how you feel." She continued. "If he knows, this might clear things up, plus might help you get with him finally." Kendall felt her heart race as she felt embarrassed all the sudden. She side glanced at Kick, who raised an eyebrow at her. 'Figured Jackie knew…' He thought, with a small chuckle in his mind.

"Uh Jackie…" She tried to interrupt.

"I'm just saying you need to tell him how you feel." Jackie didn't seem to hear her name. "You might not be like Ira or any of his other fans. Trust me I understand." She added. "And yeah, definitely not like Scarlet…"

"Jackie…" Kendall tried to interrupt again.

"The point is you can't let that stop you from telling him." Jackie told her. "You've been in love with him for so long now Kends. Scarlet, Ira and the others shouldn't matter." Kendall was feeling more embarrassed now.

"Ja…"

"You can't think of that stuff, especially Scarlet and Ira…" Jackie seemed to be ignoring her. "I mean he might have a type and Scarlet's…"

"Jackie!" Kendall squeaked with her exclamation, her cheeks completely red. She glanced back at Kick who was trying hold back his laughter. She really wanted to die now, plus go strangle her friend.

"What? I'm just saying you're amazing and need to stop freaking out." Jackie brought up. Kendall let out a breath. "Just do what you told me."

"Jackie…" Kendall let out a sigh, shaking her head. "I'll…I'll talk to you later. Okay. I got to go." She informed.

"Fine, but this isn't over." Jackie spoke.

"Trust me, I know." Kendall replied. They both said their goodbyes and Kendall hung up. She felt her heart race and swallowed, before she turned to see Kick was still chuckling. She pressed her lips together before speaking. "I…I don't suppose I can…I can get you to forget all that….can you?" She asked. He quirked an eyebrow at her.

"You know I kinda always knew Jackie knew about who you liked." He commented. Kendall slightly glanced away with that. "And admittedly it's no secret what I have done with some of my fans or with Ira and Scarlet…" He trailed. She looked back at him with that. "But I have to tell you Scarlet and I, we're really not…we don't mesh." He explained.

"But she's…she's your type. She's everything you want. Completely dangerous, rebellious, and just like…" Kendall began, trying to understand.

"Like me?" He interrupted. Kendall nodded. "That's the problem." He stated. "We get along well, know each other's likes, dislikes, strengths, weaknesses and all that. We can have fun on stunts, but we're too much alike." He informed. "And I mean way too much alike. She's just a female me, and that's great to be friends with, to point out my weak spots when I need it, hell even to be like a somewhat family with, however to be a couple with…" He walked over to Kendall, "She's not for me. She's not the one who can balance me out and give me a…challenge." He held her chin.

"Challenge?" She repeated. "But I'm….I'm so opposite of you…I'm…." She wanted to glance away but he kept her looking at him.

"And I like that." He admitted. "In fact I love it." He corrected. "Like I said you balance me out, not that you don't have your own daringness about you." He quipped. She blushed. He turned her around bringing her in close. "Plus you always find a way to challenge me."

"Since when do I challenge you?" She asked. He raised an eyebrow at that which made her think, and she thought of the dancing and when they were younger, plus a few other instances. "Okay, maybe a little…." She sank into his arms.

"You've always challenged me Kends. Even now." He countered. "Ever since we were younger." He brought up. "And I love it." She blushed more as he kissed the top of her head. She enjoyed the moment, before both heard some commotion out in the lobby.

"I guess we should probably get going…" Kendall glanced at the door. "Although, I don't know how we're going to sneak out given the fact your fans are so…" He rolled his eyes. 'Brianna definitely has a point with the fans.' He thought.

"I might have an idea, since there are a few exits in this place, but we might have to meet up outside." He stated.

"What's your plan?" She questioned. He told her his plan which they were able to execute.

She went out the front, which he didn't much like given that he didn't want to leave her alone just yet, however she was quick since she had to sign herself out and made it to the parking lot, whereas he went out one of the side exits, making sure to avoid his fans and meeting up with her. From there the two walked back to their neighborhood since they both walked to the gym, being at the time they wanted to get things off their minds. They walked down one of the back ways so no one saw them as they made it back to their neighborhood.

"So you want to come over to my place for a bit?" Kick asked.

"Yeah that sounds fine." She smiled. "Jackie and them are over there, so should be nice to have us all together again." She thought about it.

"Bet they'll figure us out pretty quickly." He chuckled.

"Well when Gunther and Jackie got together, it didn't take long for me to figure it out, I think I got it the morning after, well technically that night, but told her the morning after." Kendall giggled as she remembered.

"Same." Kick remarked. "Although I told Gunther that night, he couldn't hide a thing."

"Not surprising." She spoke.

"Yeah, though I think with us being together a bit more, maybe that could leave him to have more alone time with her." He commented. Kendall looked at him with that. "He's always a good friend, just like she is to you, but I know he wants more time with her." He admitted.

"I'm…I'm positive she'll love that." Kendall had a small smile thinking about her friend.

"We both know none of this is easy, or has been easy for her. With the fans. It's unfair." He could figure that out, as she listened. "So hopefully we can try and make this better."

"We both know what we're getting into though, so it's…" Kendall started to say.

"Don't say it's okay." He told her. "It's not, but…" He let out a breath, as they were coming down a few familiar streets which were getting close to their neighborhood. "We'll try to make it better." Kendall just smiled at that.

"So long as you both are still doing what you love, that's all that matters." Kendall encouraged as she felt happy about this.

"Well my priorities are family, friends and stunts, and you're part of two of those areas Kends." He informed. "You're my friend and you're like family too." He added. "Plus now you're my girlfriend, so now that puts you in your own category as well." He smiled. She blushed hard at that as he explained it to her. She didn't know how to respond as they were coming into their neighborhood. He chuckled that he got her to react like that. He pulled her closer for a second. "You really need stop acting so cute." He whispered in her ear, which only made her blush more.

"You're the one saying things…" She tried to counter, however he only pecked her lips, before they continued to walk.

"Come on." He had a small laugh. Her heart was racing and she knew her face was completely red. They walked to his place. "Don't say anything to my sister, just…let's see if she figures it out."

"You don't want to tell her?" Kendall questioned.

"Not immediately." He replied. "Kinda want to see how long it takes her, and maybe the others too." He mentioned.

"Well Jackie and Gunther are going to figure us out first." Kendall knew that instantly.

"Oh definitely." He agreed with a chuckled. He opened the door, letting her walk in first, as they both went in.

"Kendall!" Brianna went to hug her, Kendall hugged her back, but was a bit surprised by the sudden hug. She saw Jackie who raised an eyebrow at her, before giving her a small sly look. 'Took her five seconds…' Kendall thought, her face reddening more. Brianna pulled away as she gave a bit of still peeved look at her brother. "And I see you two ran into each other." She stated. 'You talk to her?' She questioned him in her thoughts. 'You sort this shit out. Apologize, make up?' She continued. He rolled his eyes.

"I'm heading upstairs for a bit to go clean up and change." He told them. "I'll be down in a bit." He glanced at Kendall, who nodded. Brianna just glared at him as he went up the stairs. 'Don't just walk away damnit.' She called in her thoughts. 'Answer me…' She was getting more frustrated as she let out an irritated breath. Gunther chuckled, shaking his head.

"You okay?" Kendall asked her.

"My brother is just annoying me…" She let out, also rolling her eyes. "He's a real idiot."

"Brianna…" Kendall started.

"No…I'm glad you're here though." She wanted to try and change the subject. "Did you guys….um….are you guys okay now?" She tried to ask.

"Oh, um yeah." Kendall replied, she tried to make up something. "We ran into each other because he was trying to avoid his fans…" She started. Brianna already getting a look.

"Of course his fans." She had a tone when she said that. 'Maybe I should stop bringing up the fans.' Kendall silently swallowed.

"But, um…" Kendall wanted to continue, thinking. "Yeah we ran into each other and it was a little awkward, but talked and realized it was a misunderstanding, and so since we were walking back here, he invited me back." She explained. "We're okay now."

"We'll that's good, but jeez…" Brianna was still irritated. "Him and his damn fans, I swear." She commented as she walked away, heading down the hall. "I just want to ugh…" She was beginning to fume. Kendall bit the inside of her cheek feeling bad. Mouth followed after her, hoping he could calm her down.

"Leave her, she's been on and off Kick's case the past week and half, or since the formal." Gunther informed getting up.

"My bad…" Kendall glanced away with that. He chuckled.

"Don't feel bad, knowing her she's going to cool off in one of the relaxation rooms or something." He informed. "Anyway you should go get changed." He went to go upstairs.

"Uh, okay…" She got a curious look. Jackie giggled, which Kendall looked at her. "What?" Jackie just rolled her eyes, motioning for her to follow. They entered the downstairs bathroom. Jackie closed and locked the door behind them as Kendall got her clothes, some medium sized washcloths, and towelettes out and placed them on the counter. She started to get out of her work-out clothes, which was just a baggy long sleeved shirt, tight shorts and her sneakers. She put her hair up as she wet the towels and towelettes, lightly applying some soap, to just wash off some of the sweat she got from dancing.

"So you confessed. You two are now…" Jackie started, which got Kendall to blush, as she finished washing up. She replaced her sports bra with her every day one, before putting on some dark jeggings and a dark pink v- neck shirt that formed to her curves, but was still slightly loose.

"Yeah." Kendall was quiet as she answered. Jackie giggled. "You…you were right." She admitted. Jackie smiled.

"I can bet getting out of the room was a bit difficult with his fans." She informed, which made Kendall glance at her. "But I'm happy for you two."

"You knew he was in the room with me?!" She squeaked. Jackie only chuckled more.

"You went silent a few times on that phone call Kends, when Brianna brought up Kick being there, I figured out why." She shrugged. "Plus you can't hide a thing." She added. "You're such a bad liar."

"You…he…you said all of that knowing he was in there?" Kendall, was finishing putting on her one inched black wedged heels, as she was pointing at Jackie.

"I was trying to encourage you." She countered.

"Jackie he heard you." Kendall retorted. Jackie's eyes widened.

"You had me on speaker?!" Jackie questioned. "Kends!" Jackie started to giggle, but felt a bit bad. "My bad…that must have been a little…uh…"

"You are just lucky I already confessed, or that we already…ugh but I was so embarrassed…" Kendall grew more red thinking about it. "I will pay you back one of these days." Jackie got red.

"You better not, I didn't know he could hear me, I was just trying to tell you to talk to him." Jackie argued.

"Yeah, well…" Kendall finished putting her hair in a half pony tail and her stuff away back in her gym bag. "You're just lucky. And that things were really….it was just nice after that…" Her cheeks went pink. Jackie smiled at her.

"So you're his girlfriend now?" Jackie wondered. Kendall nodded.

"Yeah, he asked me out, and said that with this there should be more time for even you and Gunther to be alone, since Gunther's been wanting that." She informed. Jackie kept her smile, looking away.

"That's…that's great." She replied. 'But…but will he…will he still be the same…' Jackie wondered, before she felt the need to shake the thought. 'Think positive Jackie, think positive…' Kendall looked at her, a worried expression crossing her features.

"Jackie you okay?" She asked. "You've been, for a while now, a little down."

"Trust me Kends…it's nothing, just stupid, silly thoughts." Jackie assured her. "You don't have to worry." She added. "I'm just happy you and Kick are finally together." They walked out of the bathroom.

"Me too." Kendall flushed.

(*)

Gunther knocked on Kick's door before entering. Kick was finishing up changing. He glanced behind him to see Gunther enter.

"Something up?" Kick went back to placing his dirty clothes and towel in a hamper.

"Really?" Gunther had a sly look. "It's kinda obvious you and Kendall not only patched things up, but also that you guys are now…" He had a small smirk. Kick chuckled. "Plus you're purposely mind-blocking your sister." He added. "So, what happened?" He questioned. Kick let out an amused huff, Gunther really did know him too well. He sat on his bed while Gunther took a seat on a chair he had in his room.

"You guys were right." Kick admitted, which caused Gunther to raise an eyebrow. "I should have just went for her all along."

"And what about this other…" Gunther wondered.

"Complete misunderstanding." Kick said. "I admit, I was an idiot. Another thing you guys were right about." Which got Gunther looking at him with amusement. "She didn't know that I have been in love with her and I didn't know she's…she's been in love with me." He explained. "The other guy…it was me…it's been me this whole time." He smiled. Gunther also smiled at him. "We just…I just was an idiot like you guys said." Gunther chuckled.

"Well I'm glad you guys are together finally and cleared this stuff up. Feels like it's been a long time coming." He responded. "Although Jackie I think figured you guys out when she was on the phone with Kendall."

"That probably makes sense. I figured she would." Kick laughed. "And trust me, I know." He breathed. "I know." Kick knew that all too well as they got up.

"You going to tell Brianna?" They both walked out of his room, as Gunther asked the question.

"I'll see how long it takes her without me giving up the answer." Kick replied, which only made Gunther laugh more.

"That should be interesting, especially with your mind." He said, both of them heading down the stairs, seeing Jackie and Kendall sitting together talking on one of the love seats. They went to the couch as Brianna came out.

"Hey Kends you staying for dinner?" She asked, wanting to ignore her brother. "I mean you don't have to, but my mom made a big batch of soup before going to her book club and you're welcome to stay." She continued as she gave a stink eye to her brother. "Both you and Jackie." Kendall smiled at the offer.

"Brianna we're fine." Kick came in. "She and Jackie won't mind staying for dinner." He brought up as he did a small glance towards Kendall before looking at his sister, which caused Kendall to blush and Jackie to giggle at her friend. Brianna just had a more irritated look.

"Well maybe they want to go to Kendall's place for dinner." Brianna folded her arms. "Maybe they want to eat at Jackie's. Who knows?" She was still irritated with her brother. "Maybe they just want to eat out. I was just offering it." She rolled her eyes. "Freaking idiot." She shook her head, as she went to the dining room.

"She's really being harsh…" Kendall noticed. Kick rolled his own eyes.

"Let her." He responded. "I always know how to deal with her." He remarked. Gunther chuckled, before he glanced at the girls.

"So, am I correct in now knowing that you dared her to graffiti Kick's billboard?" He pointed at Jackie then Kendall, both of them growing shocked before Kendall looked at Jackie.

"Jacklyn Angela!" She squeaked out, to which Jackie immediately got up, starting to run down the hall.

"I didn't tell him anything, I swear!" She countered. "I was not even here ten minutes before calling you." She tried to explain as she ran. Jackie having her own squeaks of screams as she ran.

"Get back here!" Kendall ran after her, as she felt completely embarrassed. The boys laughing.

"They realize I figured it out because of how you explained it right?" Gunther chuckled thinking about it, not believing his own girlfriend would dare Kendall to do something like that. It only made him snicker a bit more about it.

"I know. The second she confessed to me, I figured it was her and not who she said it was." Kick also laughed. "Those two I swear…" He shook his head.

"Tell me about it." Gunther agreed as they laughed.
