"Is that all you're eating for lunch?"

Olivia chewed her lettuce and stuck her fork in a tomato. She was keeping track of every calorie. Before her pregnancy, she could eat whatever she wanted. That would usually mean more exercise. Now, her doctor was limiting her physical activity. No more fitness challenges with Fitz. A few of the staff were noticing her growing stomach. The gossip about her being pregnant or eating too much was making her self conscious about her appearance. Annalise tried to encourage Olivia to eat more than salad and water.

"Are you worried about losing your shape?"

"Yes."

"When the babies are born, you're going to lose a few pounds. It's not all your weight. You can get back to your regular size. I hope you know that."

"My feet are bigger. I have to replace all of my shoes."

"Your babies are more important than your shoes."

"I don't want to replace my wardrobe."

"You can get a belly band."

"What's that?"

Annalise showed Olivia a picture of the product.

"You can wear your pants unbuttoned if you can still get them over your hips."

"Wow, I need something like that."

"Excuse me. There's a parent here to see a student. He wants to visit her class. I told him that he would have to speak with you before he can go any further than the office."

"What's the student's name?"

"Karen Grant."

"What? Send him to my office."

Annalise smiled, "Your husband is here."

"Yeah. We'll talk later."

"Livvie. Nice office."

He was holding a plastic bag from a takeout restaurant. Olivia looked confused when he put it on her desk.

"Fitz, what can I do for you?"

"Can I have a copy of my child's report card?"

"Is that why you're here?"

Fitz smiled "I'm here to make sure my wife is eating lunch. That salad is not enough food."

"You need to sign in, and I need a copy of your driver's license."

"You are changing the subject."

"I'm following the rules. All visitors have to sign this before leaving the office. I need your driver's license."

Fitz kept his hands in his pockets. "I'm not leaving your office."

"You can't stay in my office. That's unprofessional."

"I'm not leaving until you eat all of it."

"Fitz, I'll be home in a few hours. We can't do this. Not here."

"Do I have to feed you?"

Olivia took the fork out of the plastic bag. It was a shrimp scampi with garlic bread.

"I can't eat all of this."

"I don't have anywhere to be. I don't have a job. We can sit here for hours."

Olivia took one bite of the pasta. It was delicious, and she was starving. She held up her fork offering him some.

"No."

"Thank you." He said, when she ate the last of the pasta and bread.

"A salad for dinner."

"A salad with meat."

"Okay. Do you need anything else Fitz?"

"No, I'll see you in a few hours."
